How to Easily Beat the Game: Start the game with Nissan 240SX. Set Game Controls in main menu to level 3 controls. (Manual transmission up shift = right trigger, down shift = left trigger. Use the Nissan 240SX until you unlock the Toyota MR2. (Do not upgrade your Nissan 240SX at all). Run it stock until you get the MR2. To easily corner with Manual controls and to gain runs on faster cars then you, redline first and second gear in the Nissan 240SX before you shift into third gear. Now in third gear coming up on a sharp turn down shift with (left trigger)into 2nd gear "RPMS JUMP TO MAX" as you go around the turn immediately after you down shift accelerate full speed around the turn then shift back up. (Make your shifts fast so you dont lose time by downshifting) "using a manual transmission is a little harder but its worth getting used to. Once u get the hang of shifting down and then back up around turns you will perfect cornering and blow the pack away taking the sharpest of turns at up to 110mph+ and then shifting up out of your turn (WITH ENOUGH RPMS) will launch you out of your turns. Getting Huge runs is what wins races. You will also notice with good shifts in the Toyota MR2 that downshifting increases speed not lowers it. As long as you make sure you have the RPMS to back up your up shift. DO NOT DOWNSHIFT IF YOU CAN MAKE IT AROUND THE TURN IN THE GEAR YOUR IN AND NOT LOSE SPEED. This Game is Based on Acceleration. Keep your car accelerating constantly by changing gears. Takes some getting used to if you play the game on Automatic.
