People always ask what car to get at the begining so I made a guide of the cars you should use if you good at this game. Note: always sell the cars from the tournaments except for the IS300 and the Cien.
1st: Mitsubishi Eclipse
2nd: Lexus IS300
3rd: Lotus Elise
4th: Dodge Viper GTS-R
5th: Cadallac Cien
6th: Mclaren F1 LM
For the club events you will also have to use certain cars. Here is a list of the best cars and the cars you win.

Once you complete the game you get a cadillac siteen.
Only use shortcuts when you need to because the computer will follow you.
Do not get a mclaren becuz there to fast and hard to control get the gallardo wich is much easier and is still fast

At the main menu, got to Options, then Cheats and enter the code Rimbuk. This will make you lose $1 in career mode.
If you haven't noticed some autocross races are easer than PS2's autocross races. Also races come a lot earlier. ( On PS2 my third car was a 300 C and for PSP it was the Lexus).
When in reverse, activate your nitrous while going backward. You will go backward very fast.
