Resident Evil HD Remaster PlayStation 4 Cheats and Tips

Enter the following passwords (without the quotes) to log into the computer in the lab and unlock the areas B1 and B2.

1st:

Enter 'John'

2nd:

Enter 'Ada'

3rd:

Enter 'Mole'

When you beat the game on Normal mode or harder in under 5 hours this custom made version of the 9mm Beretta 92F created for Special Tactics and Rescue Service, aka S.T.A.R.S. Will become unlocked.

Complete the game with Jill or Chris and save the game. Doing this will make a new background appear on the 'Main' menu and 'Once Again...' will be an available option and you will be able to choose new difficulty settings for the replay. You will also be given a key that will enable the character that completed the game to have a new costume which can be found in the room with the large mirror on the second floor of the mansion.

When you beat Invisible mode in less than 5 hours you will open up a message (below) from Shinji Mikami who is the game director and Resident Evil creator. You will also open up a slideshow of unused costume designs.

This difficulty setting is unlocked when you either complete Real Survival mode or complete the game on the 'Normal' or 'Hard' difficulty setting with both Chris Redfield and Jill Valentine. As the name of the setting would suggest ALL the enemies in Invisible Enemy mode will be invisible.

The following only works on the Easy difficulty setting. If you enter the password 'MOLE' (without the quotes) when you have to enter the passwords into the computer in the Laboratory at the end of the game you will hear a secret message from Tofu.

Beat the game once with any character to obtain the Closet Key which will enable you to change costumes.

Chris Redfield's The Mexican Costume:

Complete the game once with Chris on any difficulty setting.

Rebecca Chambers The Mexican Costume:

Complete the game once with Chris on any difficulty setting.

Jill Valentine's Sarah Connor Costume:

Complete the game once with Jill on any difficulty setting.

Chris Redfield's Code Veronica Costume:

Complete the game 2 times with Chris on any difficulty setting.

Jill Valentine's Resident Evil 3 Costume:

Complete the game 2 times with Jill on any difficulty setting.

Save ammunition as Chris when fighting Plant 42 by using the combat knife. You will be able to kill it after about a dozen hits with the knife.

To unlock this difficulty setting where ALL the item crates are not linked you must first complete the game under the Normal difficulty setting.

When you pick up the broken shotgun and leave the room without trying to use it Barry will appear and save you.

Complete the game without using any saves to unlock this fully automatic weapon which is similar to the Uzi. It also has unlimited ammunition.

The list below are the different herb mixtures. You will be unable to mix more than one Blue or Red Herb in a mixture and you cannot add a Red Herb or Blue Herb to two Green Herbs already mixed together.

Green:

Heals 25% of health.

Green + Green:

Heals 60% of health or randomly heals 8% (Danger only).

Green + Green + Green:

Heals 100% of health.

Green + Red:

Heals 100% of health.

Green + Blue:

Heals 25% health and heals poison, or randomly restore 40% (Danger only).

Green + Green + Blue:

Heals 60% health and heals poison, or randomly heal 80% (Danger only).

Green + Red + Blue:

Heals 100% health and heals poison.

This feature becomes unlocked when you beat the game on the Normal or Hard difficulty setting of Once Again mode. In Real Survival mode all item crates are not linked.

When you beat the game or Normal mode or harder in under 3 hours the M202A1 FLASH rocket launcher will become unlocked. This shoulder-fired weapon fires 66mm M74 incendiary-loaded rockets or M72 anti-tank rockets that are loaded from four-rocket clips.

In this difficulty setting zombie Forest Speyer will have grenades on his vest which will explode and end the game if you shoot him. One Dangerous Zombie mode will become unlocked when you have completed the game with both Chris and Jill under the normal or higher difficulty setting on the same saved game file.

When you complete the following tasks the corresponding game mode will become unlocked.

Invisible Enemy Mode:

Complete Real Survival mode once.

One Dangerous Zombie Mode:

Complete the game once each with both Chris Redfield and Jill Valentine.

Beat the game once on any difficulty setting to get the Closet Key which is used to unlock the door to the costume closet on the first floor of the Spencer Mansion. Inside the closet you can change Chris or Jill's clothes after beating the game a specific amount of times.

Chris' B.S.A.A. Costume:

Beat the game once with Chris on any difficulty setting.

Chris' Resident Evil - Code Veronica Costume:

Beat the game twice with Chris on any difficulty setting.

Jill's B.S.A.A. Costume:

Beat the game once with Jill on any difficulty setting.

Jill's Resident Evil 3 Costume:

Beat the game twice with Jill on any difficulty setting.
