Make sure before each game you check out the illustration on the bottom right of the loadout screen that higlights were the laser nodes will spawn on the map layouts as this will give you an advantage over the less observant players.

Always be vigilant and aware what is happening around you and most importantly it is vital that you keep moving so you prevent your opponents from being able to gang up on you and force you into harms way.

There are various different types of drops and it is important hat you are able to recognise what each of them does and not pick up ones that will negatively impact your chances of success and be a hinderance to the rest of your team.

To increase your chances of staying in the game longer it is important that you quickly learn how to revive your teammates. When a player dies, they will drop a circular pad on the ground which if you are able to walk over (after the cooldown of the downed player has completed) will bring them back into the game. When you revive a player your energy will decrease so you need to make sure you have a sufficient amount beforehand.

To be successful in Laser League you need to get your head around the wall wrap concept where you walk off one side of the screen and appear on the opposite as being proficient in this is vital for avoiding your enemy's lasers. It is advised before you play a competitive game that you familiarise yourself with this mechanic against the computer first.

If you are struggling with timing attacks you may want to consider playing a support role, as either a Ghost or a Thief.

There are various different classes in the game and each have their own unique abilities and loadout. Experiment with each of them to find out which one suits your playing style. Below is a list of the different classes.

Snipe Class

Lets you drop a marker and shoot along a trace line towards it.

Smash Class

Gives you the ability to push your enemy across the map.

Thief Class

Allows you to steal and transform the other team’s lasers into your own.

Blade Class

Rewards players with a short-range attack to quickly eliminate your opponent.

Shock Class

Temporarily incapacitates the enemy.

Ghost Class

Grants you temporary invincibility.

Activating laser nodes is the main form of attack and will give you an advantage over the ther team so make sure you pay attention to the map and look for any inactive nodes and any that are about to switch off again.
