To unlock Marth you must win a Melee with every starter character. There's a really easy way to unlock him by doing that!
You must have a controller assigned to Player 1. Your opponent must be assigned to slot 2. The opponent must be a Level 9 Ness and the stage must be Jungle Japes.

Japanese Pokemon Voice Change

OK, I found this out when I was putzing around. If you change the language to Japanese, Jigglypuff's name is changed to Purin and her voice is totally changed and it is hilarious when you play as her! The announcer also says Purin. Also Bowser's name changed to Koopa.

Easily get Mewtwo

First, go into Special Rules. Select Stock, and choose 1. Then go into Tournament Mode, enter 64 characters and make them all human. Then, for each match, simply choose one character you want to lose the match, and jump/fall off the stage. For each tournament, you get 63 vs. Matches. This speeds things up considerably, as you don't need to select characters each time, and the battles just keep rolling until you're done.

Unlock Mr. Game and Watch

Beat Target Smash, Classic, or Adventure Mode with all characters to unlock Mr. Game and Watch.

You have to rack up 20 hours of total melee time (that is, in a match) to unlock Mewtwo. I suggest leaving your GC on all night 2 or 3 times (depending on how much you play).

Unlock Falco

Beat the 100 man melee. This is easily done using Donkey Kong's down B constantly.

Unlock Roy

Use Marth in Classic and beat it on any difficulty without continuing to unlock Roy.

CHEAT

SNAKE SUCKS SSBB GANNONDORF!!!!!!

BANANA BOAT

GANNONDORF ROCKS DR.MARIO SUCKS SO DOES SNAKE SSBB.

Great Combos

Falco: Use the blaster until they shield. Run, Throw them down, and use Down+A. ( if they roll or attack, start over) Jump and hit them with Down+A. Try to get them near an edge.

Mewtwo: Go to Great Bay. Go on one of the lower docks. If the opponent is close, throw them backwards. You have to be under the upper dock, facing away from the house.

Young Link: Use the Boomerang and grab them. Throw them forward, use a dash attack, throw forward and use the boomerang. Use smash attacks and standard combos if it stops working. I think it works wit Link, too.

Crazy Hand

Crazy hand is the completely insane version of the regular giant hand. To unlock him, simply play through 1-player classic mode, in the HARD or higher class mode until you get to the last level. The hand that first shows up is NOT Crazy Hand. Destroy this hand, THEN Crazy Hand will appear along with the hand you just destroyed. Remember: the hand you kill first is precise and deadly, while Crazy Hand is just going nuts trying to kill you. Careful, THEY ARE HARD TO DESTROY!

Unlock Young Link

To unlock Young Link you can: finish 500 vs. Mode battles OR the easy way: finish classic one player mode on normal with regular Link.

The Top of Icicle Mountain and How to Get There

It may seem to go on forever, but there is an end. It is easy to get to. Go through Adventure until you get to the Icicle Mountain Stage(Stage 10). Go through until the Ice Climbers challenge you. Kill one of them and then kill the Back Ice Climber. Make it so that only the one that will lose if killed is the only other person on the field. Next, Climb as if you haven't gotten to the Ice Climbers yet. Be careful not to let the Ice Climber get to far down. Once you see the mountain to the right end, you're almost there. From There, keep climbing. Eventually(if the Ice Climber didn't die)you will get to the Highest point of the stage where it completely stops scrolling. If you made it there, you made it to the top of Icicle Mountain. You can't do this in a regular battle(because it scrolls automatically, unlike the Adventure stage Icicle Mountain which will scroll if a Polar Bear Jumps or if you go higher than the screen. I'll leave sight seeing to you;)

The Knee

When playing as captain falcon if you jump towards the enemy and press A while
In the air you will deliver a super knee

Easy Homerun

Go to Home-run Contest and choose Yoshi as your character. Then walk up to the bag and jump up and press down A (Hint: Don't hold jump, just tap it, this way he won't go as high, and you can maximize the damage). The sandbag should go super far, like sometimes over 2,000 feet!! This is an easy way to get the Yoshi's Dreamland(I'm not sure if it is Dreamland) level!

Mushrooms are good (Begginers need to know!)

If you take a Super Mushroom you deal more damage but go slower.
If you take a Poison Mushroom you go faster but deal less damage.

Beat Event 51 without trouble!

Be Jigglypuff and keep using the Rest move(down-B) on Giga Koopa.
Wait at the edge and Mewtwo and Ganondorf will follow u.
Jump off the edge and Ganondorf will use his Up-B move.
When he does, press L! He will fall!
Do this until Giga Koopa and Ganondorf are defeated.
Mewtwo will use Shadow ball and fall off the edge, LOL!

Fun in Green Greens!

This is a fun thing to do with DK & Samus.
(1)Go to Green Greens w/ 1p DK & CPU Samus in Training.
(2)Have DK clear out a 3 across by 1 up platform w/ the blocks.
(3)Switch Samus to human, and have her stand on the center block.
(4)Wait for 3 blocks to accumulate on both sides. (WARNING:If a bomb block comes up, start over!)
(5)Have DK move in the "room" and deploy a TON of Red Shells.
(6)DK use Down-A Smash attack.
If done correctly, the game will slow and you and Samus have 999% damage!
(Note: Both players must have 0% damage prior to using this glitch.)

Fun Game-Plays

1) Pokemon Battle #1:
Go to Stamina Mode. Now,get a friend to play as any character, and go to Pokemon stadium(with ONLY pokeballs as items). Now,stand on opposite sides. When a pokeball appears, whoever is going first will grab it,then the other person will grab the next. Then, the first person uses it on the second person, then the second person uses it on the first person. Keep this up to make it a fun Pokemon battle

2) Pokemon Battle #2:Go to Stamina Mode. Now,you and your friend must choose a Pokemon to play as(Pikachu,Pichu,Jiggilypuff,Mewtwo). Now go to the Pokemon Arena(or whatever),and go on opposite sides. Now,use different moves turn by turn to get your opponent down to 0 health!

3) Rpg Battle #1:Go to Stamin Mode. Now,choose either Marth,Roy,Zelda,Link,or Young link. Now get a friend to choose one of those, and choose either Termina Bay,Herule Castle,or Brinstar Depths as the map. Now,go to opposite ends of the map. Now,take turns by either:
-Taking turns moving foward, then once you are close enough, battle.
-Taking turns moving to your opponent and hitting them.
And you got something like an RPG BATTLE!

Falco's good :P

If your planing on unlocking charictors the hard way (versus mode matches) I would use falco against yoshi, pichachu, and ness ( easy ppl) you'll be done sooner then all the other players....well at least I was... Anyway try it, I garintie you it will work!

Hope I helped a little!

USA, Skyworld from Brawl and Dream Land

This was found by me and my friend last night when we were battling at Hyrule Temple. First, USA, to see the USA, go to the Temple stage and go to the part to the far left with a roof. Press Start/Pause and angle the camera so that you can see the corner of the platform you are on. If the angling is just right, you can see the east coast of the USA! Next is Skyworld from the next game, Super Smash Bros Brawl. If you go to the same place as to see the east cost, look straight back. You can see the middle of Skyworld(and also in Brawl, if you look in the background of Skyworld, you can see the back of the Temple. Wierd, huh?). And lastly, Dream Land. To see this, go to the far right with the two platforms above you. Pause it and put the angle just right and you can see part of Dream Land. Three different things that don't have to do with The Legend of Zelda can be seen in the background of the Hyrule Temple. We will be looking for more and you can be expecting more to come, but until then, all that there is to look at are those three things.

Fun Matches (trust me, it's worth playing)

1: RPG Battle: 2-4 Players, Special Melee Stamina mode.
Each player choose a character, then choose Final Destination and play. Battle turns by turns, 1-on-1, 1-on-3 or 2-on-2. You can even play free-for-all. Last one standing wins.

2: Bounty Hunter: 3-4 Players, Special Melee Stamina mode.
Each player choose a character, and one of the players start as the bounty hunter. Select a huge stage, like Temple, Pok Floats or Big Blue. The bounty hunter starts attacking everyone, and everyone starts running. The bounty hunter
Cannot be defeated. Last one standing (except the BH) wins.

3: King of the cannon: 2-4 Players, Normal Melee Survival mode: 3 lives.
Take the Corneria stage and everyone gets on the cannon thingy. Everyone fights, last one standing wins.

4: Nintendo All-Stars battle: 1-4 Players, Normal Melee Survival mode: 5 lives.
A simple free-for-all battle with Mario vs Link vs Kirby vs Pikachu/Fox/Samus. Once again, last one standing wins.

5:Super Mario 64 DS: 1-4 Players, Normal Melee Survival mode: 4 lives.
A simple free-for-all battle with Mario vs Luigi vs Yoshi vs Wario (Mario's yellow suit) L1SW (Last 1 standing Wins).

6: Bounty hunter overshadow: 3-4 Players, Normal Melee Timed Battle: 5 minutes.
Similar to bounty hunter, but instead, you gotta kill the bounty hunter. Anyone who kills the bounty hunter BECOMES the BH. When you're BH, protect yourself. The player that is BH when time runs out wins.

Maybe i'll post more later.
Bye bye

Crazy hand on classic (sorry but no trophy)

Do normal mode on classic (only once unless you did not beat him) with any character (I think

Yoshi is good) and make it to the end with no continuation an wipe out 150% damage off master hand
And the crazy hand will come. If you beat it you will get an extra 80,000 points.

P.S. If you want the crazy hand trophy beat adventure mode with no continuation
P.S.S. If you want the master hand trophy beat classic mode with no continuation
P.S.S.S. If you want the Mew trophy beat all star mode with any continuation (that is how I did it)

Marth's Meteor Smash

To make Marth use a powerful Meteor Smash, just go out above the enemy and press B+v. If done at the right time, they will try to use their up special move and if it is damaging, Marth will use his counter and if he counters in the air, it sends the enemy straight down. I'll bet this will soon become a banned move.

giga bowser trophy

Do adventure mode on normal and choose kirby. Get no cotinuations and at the
End suck up bowser than beat him. He will turn into a trophy and flow away.
Than the trophy will come back andit will turn into giga bowser. Beat him (it
Will take you to give him 370% damage) than he will return into a trophy and
It will flow away (again) and EXPLODE. Than you will get his trophy. Yay!

The Black Hole Glitch with two players

All you need is two human characters(Peach and Ness), four controllers and tape. Put Fox and Ness on a team, with Peach and Falco on the other. Put the characters in the position, and take out four pieces of tape. For fox and Falco, tape down so they are ducking. Next, tape B so there deflector comes up. Fire the Super Scope with infinite ammo and have Peach jump in. Then have Peach throw 14 Turnips in. Then have Ness jump in so he takes a lot of damage and the game speeds back up. Have Ness use PK Fire on it and thats 2p Black Hole

P.S., don't use duck tape, that could damage the controller

Easy kills

If fighting some one or cpu use the bat and charge it the person will most of the time die right away. If some on turns into steel through them off a ledge since it weighs alot they can't jump as high and they fall off.

Ultimate Home Run

Use Jigglypuff and hit the sack until it gets to the edge. Now hit it in the air, jump and perform rest (by pressing Down+B). The sack will drop into you and you'll send it flying. I've managed 262 like this.

Catch items in mid-air

This move is very good. It will allow you to catch items in mid-air or platforms above you. All you have to do is press Z while next to an item.

Ice Climbers Item Passer

If you want to pass an item from Popo to Nana, first grab an item (ex. Bomb-omb)
Double jump and press Z. Popo will throw it but nana will catch it.

Mewtwo&Jigglypuff Hint

Ok, start of at Corneria (Fox's Stage) and throw your opponet onto the lower level. Go down, smash him around until about 100-110%. (All with Mewtwo)
Now, still on the lower level, move Jigglypuff near your weak opponent and sing him to sleep. Back on Mewtwo, charge up your B move full power, and blast away! Easy win! All this can be done in about a minute. And people say Jigglypuff is worthless!

How to Unlock The Mew Trophy

This might be hard for some of you out there.Well to unlock the Pokemon Mew Trophy you have to beat All Star mode,Classic mode,Adventure mode on Very Hard.Well for me that how I unlocked it,by beating Classic on Very Hard,Adventure mode and then I beating All Star on Very Hard, and then I got the Mew Trophy. So just beat those 3 game mods on that difficulty setting. It doesn't matter who you use,so you have a better chance at it with your best character.

Well hope this helps you out :D
~TP~

Wall bounce

When on the great fox smash the person/computer your fighting until about100%.Then hit them to the end of the ship's wall to make them bounce off like a bouncy ball. This is a good way to get rid of your anger.

Charecter trophies

Charecter trophies come in three diffrent types normal, smash and another smash

Classic:normal
Adventure:smash
All-star:another smash

Don't worry you can get all of them for each charecter
yay trophies

Event Match 50

Although there isn't really an easy way to beat this, I have got a way that works very well. Go to the Character Sellect stage and choose Fox. Go over to Master Hand (although it isn't essential to beat Master Hand first, it gives you a huge advantage later) and use Fox's standard air attack over and over again. This should have Master Hand beaten fairly quickly. Now stay where Master Hand used to be. Most of Crazy Hand's attacks can't hit you here (the ones where he flies in from the back of the stage will always hit unless you dodge). Now just wait. If Crazy hand tries to attack, either get above him or use an air dodge to stay out of the way. When Crazy Hand is on the ground, use Fox's blaster repeatedly. This works very well when Crazy Hand uses his Earthquake attack. Beating Crazy Hand like this could take a while, but it's better than getting close to Crazy Hand, which makes you very vulnerable.

If you keep shooting Crazy Hand over and over, it would take ages. So when he uses his laser attack, get underneath him and use the same method that you used to beat Master Hand. Make sure that you get back to the other side of the stage before Crazy Hand can launch another attack. This may take a few tries, but as long as you can keep dodging the Hand's attacks, you should be fine.

Good Luck

Giant hammer song

You know the giant hammer thingy that you can get...well I just discovered how to get it to play over and over again!!yay!!...but seriously...just go to training or any other type of gameplay and then get the hammer and press start...then you get to listen to the song all the time!!and it never goes off!!!**laughs evilly**...but be warned...it gets VERY annoying after a while...

It's Time For Kirby to Rein

Here's some great hint to KO people if you're Kirby (some of these hints may be played by another character)

1. (This doesn't have to be with Kirby; easy KO) At the stage, Onett, go to the left side of the stage, where the road is. Fight the characters you're fighting against until a warning sign that a car is about to come is up. Keep fighting until the car almost hits you, then jump and hang on the edge of the house with the red roof. It's very likey that the character you were fighting will not have enough time to get out of the way and be hit by the car, thus sending them offstage! You may want to practice first, though ;) .

2. (Just for fun!!) At the stage Hyrule Temple, go to the right side of the stage. You should be right by the edge. If someone comes, jump OFF the cliff and fall (DO NOT WASTE YOUR 5 JUMPS BEFORE YOU FALL!). Then jump five times (AKA make Kirby fly) and if you're not close enough to the edge press L or R. It's really fun! (P.S. You can do this with another character but you might need an umbrella or just use Peach.)

3. (Just for fun!) At the stage Corneria, go on to the missle launcher thingy(BUT NOT RIGHT AWAY!) you can stay on there until you pass 5 islands then you need to GET OFF!

4. (Easy KO) Go to Brinstar Depths and go to the litle island thing at the right side of the stage. Chances are, the characters will follow you. Depending on where the monster decides to move the stage, you can fly back up to the big chunk of land and leave the character stranded on the island! Either that or if they're precentage is high you can knock them off the island. (P.S. You don't have to use Kirby but it's easier since he can fly)

5. (Semi-easy KO) On the stage Rainbow Cruise, there are yellow blocks. If you stand on them too long they willeventually fall. When you're fighting a character, fight on those blocks. If it falls, the character will fall with it and not know what's going on, and when they finally jump it'll be too late and they fill fall to their DOOM XD. Also, when the ship sinks, keep fighting them, and when they jump, drill them down with your feet (move the C stick down) and safely fly to the platform while they fall!

6. (Semi-easy KO; varies with character) At the stage Poke Floats (unlockable; have 200 VS. Battles)when you're on Slowpoke (a pink pokemon) jump on it's tail before it goes down. Sometimes a CPU will jump on it too and start fighting you. When the tail is unfolding (not right away) jump off it and they will be trapped under the tail and fall!

And last but not least, #7. (works best with Kirby) On the stage Icicle Mountain, just wait for the stage to move quickly up. Depending on the character, they won't be able to keep up and die.

And so, I must bid you ado. I hope you all found this useful, and I can't wait to find other easy KOs!

Encounter Mew and getting a Celebi Trophey

Yes, it is possible to ENCOUNTER Mew, but not have him as a playable character, and, like all Pokemon, you must release it into the feild from a pokeball, the chances are slim enough, to make you constantly releasing Pokemon with no sucsece, (typo) and, I'm sure someone submitted this, but getting a Celebi trophey is no easy task either, like encountering Mew, you must release Celebi onto the feild to get the trophey, you won't get a Mew trophey for encountering Mew, but a Celebi one is fine enough to make you gasp so long, that you almost faint

Extremely Easy 100 Man Melee Win!!

To very very easily beat 100 man melee, just use Donkey Kong and stand in the middle of the stage on the bottom and keep pushing Down+B, he will slap the ground over and over and when one of the wire frames walk close to you (Less than 2 feet) they will be shot into the air or to the side, quick and instant death. It only took me a minute an a half this way.

Cool thing to notice

Press 1-player in the options menu press stadium and then target test select luigi (to get luigi complete mushroom kingdom 1 with a 2 in the seconds column)and look very very very very very very closly at what he is standing on it is a nintendo Gamecube as seen from directly above!!!!!!!

Peach Attack

When you are fighting you're some dude face to face, jump forward and
push the A button. When you're in the air, push start. Push tha X button
to see yourself closer. When you see yourself, you'll see Peach in the
air with her crown in her hand getting ready to hit some body.

Super Mario Bros. NES(Live)

Ok in order to do this go to vs. Mode and set a Time Battle(any limit will do), then choose Blue Mario, NES Luigi, Nurse Peach, and Bowser:

Blue Mario-Mario's Blue Suit
Luigi-adventure stage 1-1 in **:*2:**
NES Luigi-Luigi's White Suit
Nurse Peach-Peach's White Dress

Then set the items to mario items and choose the classic Mushroom Kingdom and have Nurse Peach go to any side of the screen while Mario and NES Luigi Attack Bowser,(Note:Don't let the Mario Bros. Attack each other because they are brothers) then you will have Super Mario Bros. NES(Live) on your Gamecube.

New Trophy

Hi I found a way how to get a new trophy. The character you need to be is Fox Mcloud,Then you use you're gun and shoot it till it gets to 70 or 80% then use the homerun bat. If you do all that you should get over 1000ft then you can get the sandbag trophy.

Timmy333330

Extend Samus' Grappling Beam

Here's another hint.
Rotate the D-PAD in a clockwise or counter-clockwise direction very quickly while pressing Z, R, and A. Done correctly, this will lengthen Samus' grappling hook for the duration of the match, but she will no longer automatically grab onto enemies unless you press the A button.

Homerun (Roy)

Use Roy and his UP + A on the bag about three or four times. While the bag is in the air and there's about 3 seconds left, use Roy's Charge B move to send it flying past 1500 ft.

Alternate Music

To listen to alternative music tracks on select stages press and hold either one of the two analog trigger buttons (L or R) when picking your stage. The following stages have alternate music tracks available:

Great Bay: Saria's Song
Hyrule Temple: Fire Emblem
Icicle Mountain: Balloon Fight
Big Blue: Mach Rider
Yoshi's Island: Super Mario Bros. 3
Onett: Earthbound (2)
Pokemon Stadium: Pokemon Battle Theme
Mushroom Kingdoms I and II: Dr. Mario
Battlefield: Multi-Man Melee Theme
Final Destination: Alternate SSBM Theme

Fox and Falco's Fake Trick

Use Fox or Falco's Forward + B attack and press B exactly when you hear the wooshing sound and he will stay where he is or it'll make his attack shorter. This can be used to fool other gamers or just make it shorter so you dont fall off the edge.

Fun With Trophies

While going to the Collection screen to view your trophies, hold L and the trophies will be displayed in rows. Hold R and the trophies will be arranged in a circle. Hold Y and the trophies will be arranged in a triangle.

2 glitches with one character

Go to Vs. Mode and choose P1 as Ice Climbers and P2,P3,and P4 as random characters (doesn't work with CPU's), then set the items to very low with super scopes only, and with 1 stock, then choose a stage(I prefer Final Destination) first have the ice climbers do the freeze glitch (for those who don't know it's grab with the main one then it should break out and the computer Ice Climber grab that same character and use the main one's B or attack it should stay stuck until some one grabs it), then get a double Infinite Super Scope(Ice climbers only, and for those who don't know it's 1 A attack=3 shots repeat it 4 more times the shoot 2 fully charged shots the during the third charge have P2,P3,or P4 attack you) then you can shoot the frozen character all you want with 2 great glitches with one character

Fake Characters

I've heard rumors that you can get Mew,Toad,Koopa,Sonic,Tails,Goku,King DeDeDe, and Donkey Kong J.R., they don't even appear in the game so don't say you can get them because you can't.

Easy VS Wins (Glitch)

First, go to VS Mode and choose any character you want. Then open only the 2nd slot as a computer. Choose Ness and make sure he is at level 9. Then press start. Choose Jungle Japes as the stage. When the match starts, don't move. Ness will jump, use his double-jump thing, and fall into the river every time.

Random Charecter Look-Alikes

If you change the charecter's color, they can look like other charecters. Here are some examples:

Red Peach = Daisy
Red C. Falcon = Blood Falcon
Yellow Mario = Wario
Pink Luigi = Mario

Just some random examples... Have fun!

Trophies from trainer mode

To get those trophies I suggest using Yoshi(bicycle kick)(Down+A in mid-air)or give Mewtwo a swinging Item (Running A attack) for the most Max Combos.

Event Match #51: The Showdown

Event Match #51: The Showdown
Character: Whoever you want.
Opponents: Ganondorf, Mewtwo & Giga Bowser!
Arena: Final Destination.
Lives: 3 each.

It's a tough one, no doubt about that, but it's the last one, so keep practicing and keep trying - when you get it done - you'll be completely done and feel great about it lol!

Some tactics...
- Try using Jigglypuff! Why you ask? Because by using her Down+B move, you can KO Giga Bowser at a low percentage if he's near an edge.
- The idea behind Jigglypuff's Rest move is that when you're above an enemy and you use Down+B, if you're directly aligned with that enemy below you, it'll hurt them significantly.
- I've also done this Event with Yoshi - jumping above everyone and getting some height keeps you out of danger for a little while.
- Then use his butt stomp (Down+B) to inflict some damage on hopefully more than one character.
- REPEAT!

- Get rid of Giga first - he's the biggest and the biggest pain!
- You can deal with the other two once Bowser's history.
- Using Items before your opponents is also key!

GOOD LUCK - YOU CAN DO IT =P

Event Matches #48, #49 & #50

Event Match #48: Pikachu and Pichu
Character: Whoever you want
Opponents: Pikachu & 2 Pichus
Arena: Dream Land
You get 2 lives and your objective is to KO the 2 Pichus, Pikachu is there to prevent you from doing so and has an infinite amount of lives - meaning you can't get rid of him - so get him out of the way and attack the little electric buggers.

Event Match #49: All-Star Match Deluxe
Character: Whoever you're the best with
Opponents: Dr. Mario, Falco, Pichu, Young Link, Roy & Ganondorf
Arena: Varies
Keep practicing and keep trying, there isn't much I can tell you here, other than you have to be a good fighter!

Event Match #50: Final Destination Match
Character: Whoever you're the best with (I suggest Ganondorf for this one)
Opponents: Master Hand & Crazy Hand (each with 300HP)
Arena: Final Destination
It helps if you know their attacks - they usually have a signal that lets you know what they're about to do so you can dodge it. Also, focus on one hand at a time - once one's gone, it's easy to beat the other. Lastly, use Ganondorf's smash up+A attack - it's the strongest and most effective against the Hands!

Falling down

If you find yourself with a high damage rating, try holding down so you won't fly as far when you get hit

Getting old Yoshi Stage

Ok first, change the game in settings to Japanese words. Then go to the homrun stage and pick Yoshi. Then when it starts jump above the sandbag and use down-A and he'll let out a string of kicks. Do that a couple of more times fast because the time will run out if you don't do it fast enough. Grab the bat and swing it at the last second. You change it to japanese because they don't measure in feet so youll hit it real far. If you do it right youll unlock yoshie's stage from ssb.

Link's Sheild

Links Sheild can block all sorts of things. It can block arrows, projectiles, even fully charged super scope bullets. I don't know if this is common knowledge but it really helps me.

Zelda_Fan

Get gigabowser to 999 health quickly! (action replay needed!)

First put the action replay code on for having player 1 and 2 gigabowser or just have 1 on! After that go to melee. After that put on only pokeballs. Then start the game. When you find a pokeball get it quick! Do this continuously. Just don't do it when your enemy has 1 life left! It can sometimes be fun to do!

Have Fun!

Ok, everyone, I have to tell you. When I was in 3rd grade there was a rumor that if you went to Pichu's target test and went to the top of the falling platform thing on the right, I mean the very top, not just to where the target is, since it's kind of hard to get to since it's so tall, you'd see Mew and if you touched him you'd fight for his character at final destination. NOT TRUE! Some of you may not have heard this rumor, but it did happen. I tried it after several tries and saw it wasd not true. It kind of hard to get to though, it's kind of high.

Event 49

Ness is the best for event 49 because you can just throw everyone easily off the stage!

Giga Bowser Trophy and Event #51

Giga Bowser Trophy:
Play Adventure mode on Normal without continuing.

Event #51: The Showdown
Character: ?
Opponents: Ganondorf, Mewtwo, and Giga Bowser
Hint: Use Jigglypuff
Use Jiggs' vB move (rest) while touching someone.
REAPEAT!
Do this to get the Final Destination stage.
Hoped I helped ;)

Home Run Contest: Ganandorf

Expert Level Stratedgy: Not intended for beginners or intermediate players.
Created by: lpkdm
1. Grab the bat, dash towards the sandbag.
2. Up+A smash (41%)
3. Jump above the right side of the sandbag, jump again, bat drop down+A.
4. Do 5 single jump bat drop down A's With L cancels and mid air catches on the right side of the sandbagand facing away.
5. Reverse warlock Punch. Bull Eyes: 11,342.2 feet. (3457.9+m)

If you don't know how to L cancel, mid air catch, bat drop combo or reverse warlock punch submit the question in the ssbm questions.

Are computers too hard for? Is classic, adventure, all-star too hard to beat with using a continue? Well heres a trick to become better faster. Go to special melee and set it to Lightning. Now you will move at 2 times normal speed. This gets your reflexes quicker to counter opponents. Let you eyes and fingers become to attuned to the speed of 2x.

To Make Samus's grapple beam longer, press Z, A ,R while rotating the control pad clockwise.

All star mode hint

When you're in all star mode on very easy I like to damage the foe a bit(mabye 15%-40%)then I would just throw them strait into the air. Once I finished all star mode with no recoveries and with only 69 damage doing this.

Smashing Sand Bag

Think getting over 2000 feet with yoshi by doing Down A on the sandbag is impressive. Well guess again!! ONe of the records for longest distance is with Ganandor at over 20 thousand Feet. Thats right. 20,000 feet!! Want to know how to do this? (Hint) lol a hint within a hint lol. . . Anyway: Up A + Toss Bat + Repeat = Guarunteed +10,000 feet with any character.
P.S. This is VERY difficult to do. It Took me 2 weeks of extensive training to master it.
>>> Lord_Archimonde

In Adventure Mode (Any Difficulty) when you face Giant DK. Stand still and wait for him to come to you.

(this works only with a projectile shooting hero) Right when he jumps to you, shoot him and he will aerial dodge.

This makes him unable to jump anymore, and LUCKILY, he will fall into the water and die. * * * * BIG BONUS POINTS FOR NOT DOING ANYTHING * * * *

Clearing Yoshis on Adventure Mode (Very Hard) No Problem

When you come to the koopas, right before you're about to face the Yoshis. There is a red one flying up and down. Jump on it so he loses his wins, then jump on him again to turn him into a shell. NOW, pick him up and dodge your way through the rest of the koopas. When you get to fight the yoshis, use your red shell and toss it up at Yoshis as they come down. The shell KO's them in One HIT. Make sure you don't lose it or you'll have to resort to regular combat.

Stages+Characters

Kongo Stage: Complete 15 minute melee (I recommend Fox ; use down+b when it gets crowded slightly and use left or right+b to do dash which also helps)

Falco: To get him you must complete 100 man melee (Again I recommend Fox for the reasons above)

Happy Gaming :D

A Few Good Things. ^.^

OK. Here's some nice things to know. UNLOCKABLES:
Jigglypuff- Succesfully defeat Classic or Adventure on one player mode with any character.

Dr. Mario- Succesfully deafeat Classic or Adventure with Mario.

Falco- Defeat 100- Man Melee.

Ganondorf- Defeat Event Match 29 Triforce Gathering and than defeat him again.

Luigi- In Adventure, step on the finish line with a 2 in the number. There will be a cut-scene where Luigi steps on Mario. Battle him, defeat Adventure, and defeat him yet again.

Mewtwo- Play 20 hours of combined VS. Match time in regular melee. Check how many hours you have played by going to Data, Records, Misc. Records. Mr. Game and Watch- After unlocking every charachter except Mr. Game and Watch, defeat Classic (or adventure but Classic won't take as long!) with every other person. You will face Mr. G&W. Watch out for his one-hit KO move where he uses a hammer and if a 9 appears above it!

Pichu- The easier way to do this is... Play 200 VS Matches!!! Or, defeat Event Match 37. TIP: Play as Captain Falcon. Jump back and forth while attacking Jigglypuff not the wire frames! Jigglypuff is the only one that goes for the Poke Balls. Anyways, wait for the Poke Balls, and get them at all costs! They will all be either any legendary, or Wobbufett, which is nearly useless.

Marth- Defeat Classic with all the original people.

Roy- Defeat Classic with Marth

Young Link- Defeat Classic with 10 characheters. The 10 must inlcude Zelda and Link.

SECRET AND PAST STAGES-

Battlefield- Defeat All-Star once.

Yoshi's Island- In the Home Run Contest, with Yoshi, hit it over 1,323 FT. To do this, use a+down a lot.

Dream Land- Complete Target Test.

I'll edit this later...

Weird looking game screen

To have a weird looking game screen, ( different things happen every time), you have to have 4 players that are humans. Two of them must either be fox or falco. One can be any character you choose and the last one must be princess peach.

To do this cheat you also need to understand the concept of unlimited super scope shots. First get unlimited super scope shots. Stage must be Hyrule temple and on teams. Fox and Falco on different teams. Peach and other character o different teams as well.

Got to the begnning where there is a tiny gap between the hedge and the castle ruins to the left of the screen. Princess goes right below the ledge in the middle. Fox or falco stand on either side of the ledges. The character on the side of fox or falco that holds ulimited super scopes shots at opposing fox or falco.

The fox or falco player does the sield attack. The other player on the character who holds the super scope does the same. Continue firing shots at each other. Peach on the bottom continusly throws turnips until they pile high and Voila. Weird screen apperas after a while.

Unlimited Super Scope

To get this cheat, Have on all super scopes and at least 2 players. No computers on. Fire the supper scope so that around 5 shots come out. Repeat this three times.

After this, charge it up. When the super scope turns yellow, have 2p or 3p or 4p hit the character once. Now you have an ulimited amount of super scope shots.

Pick Roy for home run dearby. Next to the sandbag now press a^,a^,a^ then hold B till the time runs out. It should hit over 1200 feet. You'll get a sand bag troghy and a yoshie place.

Unlock Falco

Beat the 100-Man Melee mode. Then defeat Falco and you've added him.

Gold chacters

(3)Choose Peach, then press Y once.If done correctly, for those of you who know who this is, you should be playing as Daisy.(Its Y or X, whichever makes her dress yellow.)

Kamikaze

Have 1st player choose Mr. Game & Watch. 2nd player should be Ness. Have G&W use the bucKet(down+B) to absorb three PK flash's(fully charged B).

When the bucket is full, have Ness use his shield(R or L) and have G&W use the bucket to throw it at Ness. If done Succesfully, the shield should be broken and G&W should fly off at blazing speeds, killing everyone in his way.

Not True!

Chewy 97 is making things up. It's a pratical prank. Don't listen to him. One day he will create cacckoroo and say it exists. I think his account should be frozen if he does pranks.

Please somebody freeze his account!

Easy sheik

To get sheik without transfoming in a battle, select a level and during the black screen press and hold L,R,and A if done correctly you should hear the transforming sound befoe the match starts.

(only in vs.mode and adventure mode.)

Super Smash Bros. 64

There is a way you can play the N64 Version of SSB on SSBM. I do this all the time. And then just use classic characters. ( for those who don't know, Mario, Luigi, Fox, Ness, Pikachu, Jigglypuff, Kirby, Yoshi, Samus, DK, Capt. Falcon, and Link.) And then just chose a past stage.

Hope you like it!

Auto Transformation for Zelda

In a multiplayer game, after the stage has been selected hold down a until the game starts and if done right Zelda will transform automatically.

An easy way to beat event #39

On event #39 your jigglypuff, which is accually a good thing. When you are playing it use jigglyypuffs grab and throw them up they should usually die.Sometimes they will get a couple good hits on you but that is when your shield comes in.I beat event #39 in 00:52 seconds.

Quick event match 12

An easy way to beat event match 12 (the one where you fight captain falcon with 100% damage)is to use jigglypuff and run forward a tiny bit and short hop while moving forward and do rest.I tied with the world record by doing this.

10 coins

To get 10 coins in most battles, do VS Battle alot with a 50-60 stock match and you will always get 10 coins.

For the event match where you fight Mario and Luigi,(on the mushroom course with lots of blocks)just pick samus and go to the edge and then keep pressing z and throwing backwards.I got 25 ko's with this tactic.

Super Giant Mario

Go to Giant Melee, and then go to the item list. Turn off all items except the super Mushroom. Now pick Mario and Select any stage you want. Then get a mushroom and you will be bigger. Then press the taunt button and Mario will be about the size of Giga Bowser!! (press start so you can see mario giant without shrinking back to normal)

Change Music for Levels

Go to melee or special melee, then select a character, then pick a stage. And as soon as it says "NOW LOADING", hold the L and R buttons down and let go when it says "GO!".

Tornado Jump

Choose Mario and go to any stage. Use Marios tornado attack (Down+B) and repeatedly press B as fast as you can. Mario will take off the ground and start flying for a short time. This is useful if your opponents are falling above you.

P.S. It also works on Super Smash Bros. for the N64!

Different Opening Music

Pressing L,R,A,B,and start when in the opening that saying start that has a little orbiting thing will change the music of yhe game when you come to the first menu. Happy Gaming

I am goi got change my profile it sucks Laughing out loud

Longer Grab

To do a longer grab press A while dashing and before you see your self attack press Z and you will do a much better grab. Happy gamingSmile

Short Hopping

Ok this is a really good move that must be mstered at all cost!

This move is a jump that is hard to do at first and use correctly but when you do get good at it you will ROCK

Ok all you have to do it tap I mean like barely push down the X/Y button and you will do a really short hop. Practice with Fox you will know when you do it is really short and a great way to charge into battle. Well I hope this helped happy gaming.Smile

Killer Radishes

This is my ALL-TIME favorite thing to do. Do a 4-player match with four humans. Won't work with computers. 1 player HAS to be fox, 1 falco, and 1 peach. The fourth can be whoever you like. Put it team battle and make fox and the random player on 1 team, peach on another, and falco on the reamaining.

Oh yeah, make items very low with superscope only. Go to Hyrule Temple(or any course with two elevated platforms at the same height.

Let the random person get a superscope and do the infinite combo. For those of you who don't know what that is, you do five short blasts of 3, 2 fully charged blasts, then start charging again and someone hit you while you are charging.

Now, put falco on the right edge, peach below, fox on the left edge, and the random player behind fox. Fox and Falco should hold the shines(down+B). Random player should then begin tapping A non-stop. Fox and falco will be stuck in their shines.

A green ball will be between them. Make peach jump in it until green ball are overlapping each other from falco to fox, so there is no space between. Now, make Peach throw exactly 15 radishes into the balls. All you have to do now is make Random player jump over and kick falco(because team attack has to be off for this to work, he can't hit fox) or jump in the balls until they arent there and a ball of radishes is floating in mid-air.

If any player hits the radishes, they will rapidly gain damage(999% close to 5 seconds) and can get out by holding a direction. It is AWESOME!!!
Peace.

Becoming a Master

Don't practice on getting good by beating the tar out of one character. You should practice on soloing and then different groups of people. Then also if you want to become really good do this: go to the options menu and set up the handicap to " on" and set the computers handicap higher than yours then when you are up for the challenge set yours to 1 and there's to 9! Well thanks for reading and have fun!

PvP

When versring a other player a popular techinque I use is run and jump...

Ok I run to my opponent then I just jump back wards and usally he always jumps too so I since I have faster reactions than most I just swing and get a nice start at fighting the mini battle that just started.. I hope this helped and have fun looking at other people's hints too see ya

Enemy can,t hurt you with his hamber

Make your enemy use a Posion Mussroom and the top of his/her hamber will fall off and he will only have the stick that can,t hurt you.You can use the top of the hamber that fell off as a weapon.

Marth fighting

When you are fighting with marth you SHOULD know that marth is a far fighter well when you have to 2 people chasing that is a promblem-_-....

First you have to attack one then the other and marth can't always have time to knock the other guy back so you can attack the other because of his not stong attacks-_-

Well what you do is stay back and let them come to you next to a edge then roll around and go back and forth till you fell like not rolling back the other way and attack just make sure they are in sweet spot range and give them all you got...this might not help too much but for noobs it might help well thx for reading this looonngg hint see ya!

Crashed cars

Set the items to only bomb-ombs and motion-sensor bombs and put it on very high.

Then, go to mute city and when a car passes through and a bomb is there, it will hit it and explode.

It's funny because then the stage will move and you will see purple smoke in the background where a car crashed.

P.S. I found this out by playing the setup that you suggested to me, frog 0

Peace.

Easy way to get marth

Marth is my favorite player so I figured out how to get him first. Go to melee and put it to stock 1 life and make yoshi a level 1 computer.

Then, beat him with all 14 original characters (mario vs. Yoshi, bowser vs. Yoshi, yoshi vs. Yoshi, etc.)

Hope this helps.

How to beat event match 51 the easiest way.

You can win this ultra-hard match quite easy with...Jigglypuff. Yes, you heard me, Jigglypuff.
Why: Jigglypuff's REST attack might seem worthless. But if Jigglypuff is touching another player while using it, that player will take massive damage. This can knock out GIGA BOWSER with one (or two) hits.GIGA BOWSER's size makes it easy to hurt him with REST. The other two players (MEWTO and GANONDORF) will be less cocky without their big pal (suckers)!.
Also, Jigglypuff's nimble mid-air jumps are very useful to get away from your enemies.

A quick way to victory

For people without all the characters unlocked and are trudging their way through the vs. Battles here's a quicker way. Go to special melee and pick super sudden death , stock 1. And just "C" stick the enemy once to win. It gets the game up quick.

150 damage

Go to mushroom kingdom 1 and walk over to the end of the stage. You then stay out of sight and if you wait long enough you will get 150 damage.

How to fight crazy hand and giga bowser

All you need to do in classic is beat in on nomal and get to master hand in less than 8 min must don't lose all lives

All you need to do in adventer is to get to bowser in less than 15 min
Under nomal can't lose all your lives

*good hint *if you die aganst g-boswer
*Bad hint* if you die on crazy hand you can't fight him again in the classic battle

Event Match #51: The Showdown

Character: Whoever you want.
Opponents: Ganondorf, Mewtwo & Giga Bowser!
Arena: Final Destination.
Lives: 3 each.

It's a tough one, no doubt about that, but it's that last one, so keep practicing and keep trying - when you get it done - you'll be completely done and feel great about it lol!

A Powerful Team

A powerful team would be Mewtwo and Ganondorf. It is good if you use Mewtwo"s stun attack, then use Ganondorf's purple punch while the enemy is stunned so they can't attack, so they won't cancel Ganondorf's purple punch...

Fox and Falco's REAL Secret Taunt

To truly do the secret taunt in one try. Be on either Corneria or Venom stages. Press DOWN on the d-pad for 1 frame exactly. You should automatically do the taunt. If it didn't work, chances are, you held it longer than 1 frame (1/60th of a second).

Good day =].

Tips on Recoveries of Characters and in General

Improved Recoveries of Characters

Most people, when recovering from being hit off the stage, just double jump, then use the B-up attack, but some characters, by following specific methods of recovery, improve overall recover by a substantial amount.

Doctor Mario: As soon as youre hit, immediately do the Down-B attack. Keep pressing B, to hover up (you have to do this relatively fast). Then you drift, until you are close to the stage, double jump forwards, use the Cape (Forward-B) once, an then Up-B. Try to DI (Directional Influence) Up when you are hit, which means you hold up as you are getting hit, and you will be hit more upwards, with a better recovery, because you can drift longer.

Mario: Same as Doctor Mario, but Mario falls slower, so you can drift longer.

Luigi: DI up when you are hit. Immediately do the Forward-B attack. Keep doing the Forward-B attack until you are a little lower than your Up-B can go, then you double jump, then U-B immediately. (For the really fast fingers, you can use the F-Bs then use Down-B and Press B RAPIDLY, and you will go up, but beware, it is extremely hard).

Bowser: Again, be sure to DI Up, because his horizontal recovery is subpar.

Peach: It is VERY important to DI up with peach, because her horizontal recovery is limitless, while her vertical recovery is below average.

Yoshi: Since he does not have a triple jump, you drift, pretty low, then jump up, and use the airdodge (L or R) + Up or Up-Left/Right to use the airdodge as a sort of third jump.

Donkey Kong: See Bowser.

Captain Falcon: DI up when hit, double jump forwards, use Down-B (yes down-b) IF YOU ARE HIGH ENOUGH. Since Captain Falcon is the faster faller in the game, you need to be extremely high (near top of screen or magnified) to get any help out of it. After the Down-B, you will be able to jump again after the first double jump, then B-Up. Doing this is like trading vertical distance for some horizontal, but you have to have a lot of vertical distance for it to do any good, so make sure youre pretty high.

Ganondorf: Double jump up, use Down-B, you can be a little lower than captain falcon for this, Double jump, and use B-Up.

Falco: Double jump, if you are horizontal to the edge of the stage, and you are close enough, use Forward-B to sweetspot the ledge. If you are further, try to aim the B-Up toward the edge of the stage.

Fox: See above to Falco.

Ness: Double jump when you are hit, and if you are close to the stage, use an airdodge (L or R) + a direction to get back onto the stage. If you are far, double jump, use your B-Up attack, and round it around and hit yourself into the direction you want to go.

Ice Climbers: Its best to use F-B for recovery, but if you are too low, then use the B-Up. Before you do, be sure to be in sync with Nana (the pink one), meaning its following what youre doing during the double jump.

Kirby: Drift until you are relatively low, and jump as needed, then use U-B when your below the edge.

Samus: As soon as youre hit, hit Down-B to spawn a bomb. Do it again right after, without moving anywhere. Your first bomb should hit you up, and you should hold the direction toward the stage as this is happening. Repeat as soon as you start falling from the boost. Keep doing it as needed. Use the airdodge into a direction, then grapple (Z button) after youre done with the airdodge if youre too low, then pull your self up with A, or you can grapple the edge, and get an auto-sweetspot. Or you can just use B-Up.

Zelda: Normally, youll be using Sheik, so for Sheik, drift, and try to use the first jump of your Up-B to sweetspot the ledge, if not then use the 2nd part of it. If you are extremely far from the stage turn into Zelda after DIing up, then drift a little, then B-Up onto the stage.

Link: Drift, and either airdodge, then use your grapple (the Z button) to hang onto the ledge, press A to boost yourself up from the grapple, and use B-Up. Or, if you had a bomb in your hand before you got hit for a little while, you can sometimes time the double jump, then B-Up, and the bomb will explode during it, then you will be able to B-Up again (But not grapple because the bomb reverse your direction).

BOMB TECHING: Bomb Teching is an advanced recovery skill. Take out a bomb as your hit, throw it up, and immediately B-Up into it. Itll explode into you, hold the direction toward the stage when youre hit with the bomb and B-Up. If you are low, but youre aligned with the wall under the ledge, and you have a bomb, throw the bomb into the wall and hold L + up. It will explode into you, and then you will wall jump after it because of the L+Up and you can b-up.

Y. Link: Same as Link. If you are extremely high up, throw your boomerang a certain way, airdodge forwards, hookshot into nothing, then the boomerang will come to you, when you catch it, you will be able to move again, so then Double Jump, and B-Up. Bomb teching is harder with Y. Link as the timing is weird.

Pichu: Simple Double Jump, B-Up.

Pikachu: Same as Pichu.

Jigglypuff: as soon as youre hit, and if youre above the ledge of the stage, keep using Forward-B, and then push Up right after you press Forward B and you will do an upward pound, if needed, jump when your height reaches below the stage. If you are below the stage when you start recovering, upward pound, jump, upward pound the other way, jump, continue until all jumps are done, and then use the airdodge if needed.

Mewtwo: Drift, double jump, Up-B if needed.

Marth: as soon as youre hit, if you are high, use Forwards-B a few times, until you are close, and then double jump (If needed) and then B-Up.

Roy: Same as Marth, except do not Forward-B as much, maybe drift, then do it once, and if youre not right under the ledge, then Up-B and immediately hit Right/Left for a more horizontal recovery.

=======================
Sweetspotting the Ledge
=======================

Sweetspotting the ledge means, your goal is the edge, and that you are hanging off of it when you recover. The point of this is not to be hit off the stage again as you are coming back by an opponent. This can be done by all but Captain Falcon and Ganondorfs B-Up. The key to sweetspotting the ledge, is to drift until you are low, then do your recovery, or if its a horizontal recovery, when youre level with the stage, then use it.

=======================
Edge-hogging
=======================

This just means the person whos guarding you is already on the ledge, so you will not be able to get on the ledge, but instead are forced to recovery onto the stage. This can be bad because the opponent can get up right as youre on the stage, and recovering from lag, and hit you back out. The ways a person can do this is Wavedashing (See Advanced Techniques or Compendium of Smash Knowledge on the Forums) backwards, jumping backwards onto the ledge, Short-hopping.

Good day =].

Advanced Techniques

These techniques are useful in higher levels of play.

===============
L-Cancelling
===============

This is a simple, yet useful technique. If you are in the air and in the middle of an aerial attack, you can press either L, R, or Z (L preferred) and it will HALF the lag you receive upon landing. Learning to do this EVERY time you land from an aerial, will greatly improve your game. Uses: L-cancelling a move allows a VERY quick follow up to whatever you want, and allows for stringing combos together. An easy way to see if you're l-cancelling correctly is to try it with Link's Down aerial, and/or Bowser's Back aerial, and you will see the difference in lag.

An example video of fox's infinite, made possible by l-cancelling.

===============
Short-Hopping
===============

Also abbreviated as "sh", this technique is achieved by LIGHTLY (no exaggeration) tapping the jump button. Whether or not you perform a short hop or not, depends on how long your finger remains on the button, not how soft you press it, although pressing it softly helps a lot. Try grazing past the button. Some characters short-hop easier than others. Try short-hopping with falco if you want to see the results. His first normal jump is huge, but his short-hop will be a centimeter off the ground. It takes practice to do it at will in a match and not mess up, keep practicing.

Uses: Short-hopping allows you to use your aerial attacks at a level just like as if they were ground attacks. Some character aerial attacks are very good (ex. CFalcon's A-forward in the air when sweetspotted, Sheik's A-forward in the air, Doctor Mario's A-back in the air. The video above, also shows the fox shorthopping the aerial down a.

===============
Shffl'ing
===============

This stands for Short Hop Fast Fall L-cancel. This incorporates short-hopping, and l-cancelling to produce the desired of effects of an aerial attack that can be used freely, and not just in specific situations. First, you short-hop, do your aerial, and immediately fast fall, and Press L right before you land to do an L-cancel. The most important advanced technique.

Uses: Using an aerial attack on the ground. Also, with the L-cancel, and fastfall, you will be able to immediately follow the aerial, with either another, or a grab, or running to them as they fly away.

===============
Shield-Grabbing
===============

As the name suggests, shield-grabbing is just holding down the shield button, and then pressing Z to grab immediately out of it. Why is this useful? Shield-grabbing is a simple, yet practical technique. For example, if someone runs and does a dash attack on you, you pull out your shield. As soon as the move is done, you just have to press Z and you have the character in a grab.

===============
Wavedashing
===============

The last technique I will tell you about is wavedashing. It's not the best advanced technique to try out at first, because it is only useful at higher levels of play. At lower levels, it may seem useless though. To do it, hold down-left or down-right on your control stick. Jump and then press L or R. If you did this right you should go forwards with white smoke behind you. If you jumped up and airdodged, you didn't press jump and R or L fast enough consecutively. If you just jump, you're pressing it too fast.

Uses: It can be done at anytime and can be used to fake out opponents. You can run forwards pretending to attack, then wavedash back as they prepared for it with a laggy move, and then run in to punish them. An important thing to note, is you can do ANY move out of a wavedash. Like a smash, tilt, grab, or even shffl.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
These techniques are some of the advanced techniques. Practice them and get better! Here's a link to some videos that people use these techniques. Keep in mind, these are old videos.

Fountain of Coins

For this trick, you have to have unlocked Mewtwo and have 4 controllers.

Ok, first off go to Vs. Mode. Next, go to custom settings and set it to a coin match. Turn the handicaps off. Then set the damage ratio to 0.5.

Go back to character select and make it a team match of 3 against 1 with all of the characters as Mewtwo. Make sure all the characters are human controlled, and that team 1 consists of Player 1, Player 2, and Player 3.

Next start the match with the stage as Hyrule Temple.
Have Player 1 go left from his starting point until he touches the right side of the little platform that sticks up out of the ground in the upper left corner of the level. (Make sure he is facing left.)
Now have Players 2 and 3 do the same except have them facing right.

After you do this the order the players are in (starting from closest to the wall) should be Player 1, Player 2, Player 3.
Make sure that you have all the characters AS CLOSE TOGETHER AS POSSIBLE. Now have them all charge up their B attacks. Let them keep charging up the attacks. (DO NOT STOP THEM FROM CHARGING THE ATTACKS EVEN AFTER THEY ARE FULLY CHARGED)

You will know you have done this right when all of their Shadow Ball (B button) attacks are touching.

Next have Player 4 jump right between the heads of Players 2 and 3 but still getting hit by all 3 attacks at once. Make sure that you are holding the control stick of Player 4's controller in the down position. Keep holding down on the controller until player 4 has somewhere from 200% - 300% damage.

(This will not take more than 1 minuet.)
If done correctly, Player 4 should stay stuck in-between the heads of players 2 and 3 until someone from team one stops charging their attack, or time runs out.

While the match is still going coins will pile up like crazy for players 1,2, and 3.

Hope this helps!!!

Easy victory

Use link and pree B+UP alot to do the hurricane slash, enimies can't get near you that way. Use items (expt chargeing wepons) as often as you can

More STAGES

Beat the "adventure game" with every character. hope this helps^.^

Super combo count

In 1player training, pick Mewtwo, pick Bowser as the opponent. Then go to Hyrule Castle. Go to where you would be dropped off if you were to regenerate. Its a little slope going down to the bottom part of the level. Make sure Bowser is against the broken part of the wall on the top right of the slope. Turn around so that Mewtwos back is facing Bowser. Charge up your shadow ball. Bowser should get sucked up and Mewtwo should move back a little. Now wait till Bowsers damage that you see on the screen is about 10%. Pause the game and then un pause it. This should remove his damage but keep the combo. Keep doing this for your desired time. It is possible to go past 999 on the combo, but you will not see it until you exit back to the character selection screen.

How to get MewTwo and Mr. Game and Watch.

First you need to get Mewtwo so here goes. To get Mewtwo you need to play 24 hours of 1vs1 or 15 hours of 1vs2 then theres also 12 hours of 2vs2 in multiplayer mode (With human players or computer players) Once you've played that amount the winners will face Mewtwo. You need to beet him for him to be a playable character (If you lose don't worry you can face him again by doing another Multiplayer game) Once you've got him you need to beet everyones Adventure or Classic (I suggest you do Mewtwos last cause the last one you use will face Mr. Game and Watch. Once again if you lose just do another Classic or adventure (Whichever one you chose) to face him again. There you have Mewtwo and Mr. Game and Watch!!!

Hint: Roy and Marth cool ->+B attacks

1.) do the ->+B attack with Roy or Marth.
2.) tilt the control stick slightly in other directions while doing the attack.
3.) mess around with it in training mode, I got Roy and Marth to have a cool stab combo like when you pres A rapidly with Link.

Unlocking Yoshi's Island

Use Yoshi and his Fludder Attack (jump and hit down+A to 'fludder' his feet); you gotta do that to the Sandbag as many times as you can before the time runs out to raise it's percentage...

Then NAIL it with the bat!!!

The distance to beat is 1,323 ft.

Three people

Hello cheaters of supercheats.I'm going to tell you how to get every body.

Luigi-Go to adventure mode and beat the first level when time has a two in the second column.
Jigglypuff-Do classic game and after you beat it the fat thing will challenge you
Falco-beat 100 man melee.(hint:I would reccomend DK's down+B)

Skill

Did you just start playing super smash bros. Are you no good. Well I found the best way to get better. First chose a charecter you want to practice with. The chose 100 man melee. This will help you get better and also it lets you fighure out your persons special abillities. Sonner or later you will be unbeatable.

100man melee

For the one-hundred man melee I found the quickest way to beat it. First chose mewtwo if you have him if not use samus. Use samuses grab abillity to thriw them across or up.

A faster way is to use medium or high charged blasts to send them into the next dimension. Or if you are an old fashion person use her smash+b abillity to make a strong punch or kick.

This will send your oppenent flying. Sometimes if you're lucky you take out 2-10 people at once. With the fully charged blast I maxed out 30 people.

I can also help you with other gamecubegames. If you have a friend who has a gameboysp let me know because I beat 91% of the sp games. Let me know at my email as soon as possible. Thank you

Ness

If you are knocked off, and You can't get back on the stage with your jump (using Ness), use his up-b, electric attack, and hit the bottom of ness, he should shoot up.

Zelda to Sheik

If you want to switch from Zelda to Skeik at the very begining of the game,
Hold Z while picking your stage when you are Zelda.

50%yoshi50%DK

Everyone says that the easiest way to beat the 100 man melee is to use DK.....BUT I used yoshi very easily too!The best thing to do is to wait tell all the guys are in one spot then jump and press (down+b) and keep repeating this until you have to beat falco then do the same move when he's up in the air jump and press up+a and vola!

Get marth and roy

To get marth just play versus mode with 4 people, start by making 1 player one of the original characters then make 2 player the next original character, and so on until you have played a match with all the original characters then he should appear and chalange you.

Then you can go and beat story mode with marth to get roy!

Speedy Battle

Create a game with only Human players, 2-4 players. Pick either Fox or Falcon and set the item switch to only Bunny Hoods, high or very high. Now choose Big Blue. Grab some hoods and start beating up each other. You can almost run with the cars on the road if you have a bunny hood, just make sure you jump over the water gaps.

Homing really long samus grapple beam

Go to practice(its optional but it's much easier in practice)set the speed to 1/4,do the extend grapple beam trick and then throw your enemy in the air and do the grapple beam and press L.the grapple beam should go up if you threw him in the air,or it should go back if hes behind you.

Wield 2 wepons at once

To wield 2 wepons at once yes TWO! First pick ice climbers (only works with ice climbers) then when you see 2 items press A.(if there is only one find another one and press A. You should practice in traing.

Easy way to beat event

How to beat the event with 128 marios. First you need to be DK. Next use his slap attack( down B) and you will win. Ya you did it!!!!

100 man melee

I am new so don't laugh if this is crap. I used link for this and found it really easy. Just keep using his B^ attack and it's as simple as that.

I'm going to put more hints and cheats on so look out for me!

Getting All Characters

First off... YOU CANNOT GET SONIC OR TAILS OR ANY OTHER SONIC RELATED CHARACTER!

(Clears Throat) anyway..

Did this in 6 hours:

Play VS. Matches. That simple. You will unlock 4 stages, you will unlock atleast 9 secret characters, best part is, you will average ATLEAST 3 games in 1 minute!
YES, ONE MINUTE.

Go to Special Melee, pick Super Sudden Death, click the top where it says 2 minute KO fest, Change the Rules to Stock, make the Stock 1, no handicap, and the Damage Ratio to 2.0. You can choose to use items or no items. Other than that, it's the perfect way to get 1000 VS matches AND 10 characters AND a lot of Trophies in ONE day.

Im not sure.. But I think you can only get Dr. Mario and Jiggilypuff in Classic and Adventure...

Then all you have to do is clear 15 Minute Melee to get DK's Past Stage, get 1300ft off of one character to get yoshi's Past stage, and Beat all the Break the Targets with every character to get Kirby's past stage. Next do Events 1-51 to get Battlefield and Final Destination.

Thats all from me!

(PS, Dont believe anyone that says they got Giga Bowser, Master and Crazy hand, Shadow, Sonic, Tails or any other characters LEGITLY... They either used Action Replay or Gameshark)

Staru Hold

YAY I finaly got a Gamecube. I am so happy. Anywho, if you ever use Pokeballs, you can grab your opponet and hold them when the Staru starts to shoot. Then you will still be able to throw them. It's a perfect little combo. Hope this helped!

Mr. Game and Watch

To get Mr. Game and Watch you have to play with all characters (including unlockable characters) or play 1,000 vs. Games

Super Smash Brothers Melee cheats

CHARACTERS:

Jigglypuff: beat Classic or Adventure mode with any character exept Mario on any difficulty with any amount of lives.

Dr. Mario: beat Classic or Adventure with Mario on any difficulty and any amount of lives without losing any lives. This is why you'd best not use Mario to get Jigglypuff.

Young Link: beat Classic or Adventure with ten of the fourteen original characters.

Falco: beat the 100 man melee. The best solution is to use DK and use his down and B move.

Ganondorf: beat Event match 29.

Luigi: complete the first stage of Adventure mode (Mushroom Kingdom) with a 2 as the fourth number in the timer.

Pichu: beat Event match 37.

Marth: play as all fourteen original characters in VS mode. Usding some as CPUs won't work but here's a trick, go to Jungle Japes with you and a level 9 CPU Ness. When the match starts just stand there and Ness will jump towards you but end up self-destructing. Easy.

Roy: beat Classic or Adventure mode with Marth on any difficulty with any amount of lives.

Mewtwo: play a COMBINED VS time play total of twenty hours.

Mr. Game and Watch: beat Classic or Adventure mode with all 24 other characters.

STAGES:

Brinstar Depths: play 50 VS matches.

Fourside: play 100 VS matches.

Big Blue: play 150 VS matches.

Pok Floats: play 200 VS matches.

Mushroom Kingdom II: find a Birdo or Pidget trophy.

Yoshi's Island N64: hit the Sandbag over 300 metres in Home Run contest.

DK Jungle N64: clear the 15-minute melee.

Dreamland N64: clear Target Test with all 25 characters.

Flatxone: beat Classic or Adventure mode with Mr. Game and Watch without any continues.

Battlefield: clear All-Star mode with any character, and difficulty, any amount of lives and without any continues.

Final Destination: beat Event match 51.

OTHERS:

Mew in Pokball: unlock all characters and stages and Mew (rarely) will appear in a pokball.

Celebi in Pokball: get all 292 trophies and Celebi (rarely) will appear in a pokball.

Mario look a bit like Wario: change Mario's costume to yellow.

Peach look (exactly) like Daisy: change Peach's cstu,me to the one where she has a yellow dress and brown hair.

Alternate music: when selecting a stage hold L and R down before pressing A and keep them held down when the stage is loading. Note that this does NOT work for all stages and in VS mode all players must hold down L and R. And it does not work for all stages that do this unless you do certain things for exeample if you want the Fire Emblem tune on Hyrule Temple you must unlock Marth (not sure about Roy too) first.

Different music in the Trophy Gallery: once you have unlocked Sound Test go on it and listen to a music. Exit Sound Test without turning off the music and go to the Trophy Gallery. The music you were last listening to in Sound Test will be playing.

Team Battle extra lives: on VS Team Battle when you lose your last life press START as soon as you die and you will appear again as if you have one life left. This does not always work. Good luck with it.

Don't do what the computer does here...

Notce how sometimes when a CP Fox or Falco uses a Down Throw on you, and then finishes it by comboing with their Reflector before you can recover?

I know some people like to mimic them, so here's something better to follow by- use your down-tilt attack instead of Shining the foe.

This is extremely useful with Falco. His down-tilt is powerful and is spike-happy.

AWSOME!!! READ NOW!!!

When you do "Break The Targets" you just hear a dull song that's suppost to be the "Break The Targets" song right? Well I have exiting news! Just pause and hold L, R, A, and Z like you do when you exit exept replace Start with Z for reset and guess what?! When you start after reseting, the music is the charicter's theam song!!! Isn't that cool!!!

2L84ME

Find a Barrrel Cannon- it could be the trophy of the Barrel Cannon, or you could sniff one out in battle just find one. You can't use the Barrel Cannon that floats around in the Donkey Kong stage, the one where it's daylight and you're at the edge of a waterfall. Just a regular Barrel Cannon.

Look at the bottom of it... It should say "2L84ME", which translates to "Too late for me".

Corneria- destroying the ship's guns

Start out on Corneria and head to the nose of the ship. Jump off, then mid-air jump to the right and use a third jump if necessary to land on the guns of the ship. You can destroy these guns if you deal around 100%-200% to them, and when they explode, there will be a big explosion and you will no longer be able to stand on them. They will also look blown up after destroying them.

Stupid Fox...

Go to Hyrule Temple with a level 9 Fox as your opponent. Go into the lower area of the stage and get down onto that cement cylinder at the very bottom. Wait until Fox comes down into that area, then jump back out and race to the top of the stage. If you did it correctly. Fox shoudl get stuck and keep running back and forth at the bottom part of the stage, using Firefox and out and about. Weird.

LMAO!

Play as C. Falcon and make him eat a Poison Mushroom, then use his Falcon Kick attack (down B). Listen to what he says... Lol? LMAO, it sounds like he's saying... Well... "(*F word)+ing Kick!"... Lol! Usually, at normal size, he says "Falcon Kick!" but when he's miniature, I tell you... He's got a mouth for trouble.

Peach's Toad works on Event Match 50!

Believe it or not, Peach's Toad attack (Neutral B) is tough enough to protect you from some of Master Hand's and Crazy Hand's attacks. You can use this as a simultaneous offensive and defensive technique. Again, however, this onyl works for some of the attacks the hands know.

Shrunken Background

Go to Adventure Mode and get to the Hyrule level where you have to reach the golden Triforce symbol to win the level. Instead of reaching the Triforce symbol, though, battle one of the Links around the level. After the background changes, take a moment to observe it's size and depth. Now pause the game.

Observe the background now. It's size should have shrunk, along with the debris that you occasionally see flying about in the background.

Weird.

Evading Staryus...

A pesky Staryu is chasing you down, huh? Staryus, which tend to emerge from opened PokeBalls, follow you around the stage for a few seconds before firing a volley of Swift shots at you. The move is generally known as Swift.

It can be difficult to evade once you are caught in it's range of fire, but it is very easy to evade beforehand if you follow my directions below.

When the Staryu emerges, wait for approximately a second. Now jump. Mid-air jump at the apex of the first jump, then at the apex of that, mid-air dodge downward (press R or L in mid-air while holding down on the Control Stick), and Fast Fall to the ground after the mid-air dodge animation ends.

The Fast Fall usually isn't necessary, however, unless you timed your jumps wrong or unless you started late.

Techwall Jumping

If the foe sends you flying at a wall, you can tech and then Wall Jump right out of the tech. ANY character can do this, even Bowser. Basically, when you are headed for the wall, hold R or L, and as soon as you hit the wall, hit the Control Stick in the opposite direction to the wall. You should then do what is referred to as "Techwall Jumping".

The TRUE easy way to unlock MARTH

Hey did you know?:

You don't have to beat classic mode with the 14 default characters? All you need to do is use all the 14 default characters in VS. Mode in a row just set it to 1 stock and pick the first character on the character thingy,(mario) and just go down the row to Link..

Run off the stage and die with the original default characters and walla!!! Marth will challenge you!!

PS:Some Of You May Not Beleive Me But Just Try It,Its"s the way me and my freinds did it so I just wanted to post this because everyone was saying you have to beat classic with all 14 different characters but they were wrong.

PSS: IF YOU DO SPECIAL MELEE ON GIANT MODE AND MAKE THE ONLY ITEMS SUPER MUSROOMS MAKE YOUR SELF KIRBY AND YOUR ENEMY BOWSER THEN LET BOWSER EAT A SUPER MUSHROOM AND HE WILL TURN INTO GIGA BOWSER THEN TRY TO SUCK HIM UP AND YOU WILL SAY: How The Heck Did My Kirby Eat That Beast The Size Of The Screen?!?!

How to stop your opponent from getting back on stage

Ok so you're on a level and you hit your opponent off the edge of the level. They start using their midair and B^ jumps to get back on stage. As Marth or Roy (preferably Marth) charge up you B attack.

As soon as your opponent is within range of your sword let go of B and they should be sent flying. They have little chance of survival and if they look as if they are going to make it just repeat.

A useful tactic.
P.S. It can also be used with the A> or < smash attack.

Evading Staryus

Did the foe just pop a PokeBall and you have a Staryu trailing on your behind? Easy enough... Get onto the ground, and wait a second. Now jump, mid-air jump, and mid-air guard downward, then fast fall by pressing down while falling. If done correctly... The Staryu will be firing it's Swift attack into open air at nobody.

Metallic Jumping Boost

If you happen to grab a Metal Box, your physical jumps will become significantly higher, excluding the 3rd jump.

Sound Test Transfer

Go to the the Sound Test feature and play a song on it. Now go and visit the trophy gallery. The music you played from the Sound Test will now be playing again. Weird.

Bad Traction

Choose Luigi as your character. When the match starts, dash and then do your taunt. You will slightly slide while still doing the taunt.

Jump abilities from highest to lowest

(This does not include the third jump. Only the second)
Kirby
Jigglypuff
Mewtwo
Falco

Dk's Past Stage

To unlock DK's past stage you must successfuly complete 15 minute melee with any character.

I would advise that you use DK, and use his Down+B (Ground Slap) move repeatedly.

I would also reccomend that you turn your rumble feature off (DK's move activates the rumble) because it is actually possible to "overheat" your rumble feature, which I have done.

In the event that this does happen, the rumble will stop, and will eventually return when cooled off.

Anyway, stand in the center of the bottom of the stage to hit any wireframe that drops down from the platforms and to avoid unneeded damage caused by moves that the wireframes my attemp under you.

Under the event that a partyball is activated, evacuate the drop zone immeadiatly because there could be bob-ombs which could again cause unneeded damage and may leed up to the event of your death and failure.

Try to use pokeballs to do extra damage, and may buy you some time of shelter ( hide behind a Venasaur and nobody can attack you).

In the event that you are hanging from the edge or knocked on your back, press B and you will attack on your way up from the edge or attack while you leap back on your feet, doing good damage and KO any wireframe that tried to be cheep and kick you while you were down.

It isn't easy, but it is achievable. It may take a couple of tries, and a long time but DK's past stage is worth it with a great layout for classic fighting.

Luigi

Beat the mushroom kingdom(the first level in adventure mode)with a 2 in the seconds place

The Showdown

On The Showdown I know it sounds unbelieveable but you can beat The Showdown with:

JIGGLYPUFF

Yeah I just did it too.Using his Down B move.Go for Giga Bowser first then Mewtwo then Gannondorf you might have to try 3-5 times (I did it on the Second Time! ^_^ )
But then just Conserve every life you have.

A quick way 2 win

Choose mario and wen you get close 2 oppenant then press B+UP and they will go up in the air and repeat this while they in the air and eventually youll win!

Jigglypuff's Down-throw+rest combo

Can be done on stages that have breakable ground, like Mushroom Kingdom, or one of Yoshi's stages. If done on a breakable surface, you can down-throw, and immediately rest for an instant KO.

Sacrifice

Sacrifice
* *
^
Ok ,this will work on anybody but jigglypuff or kirby.
First, be kirby suck your oppenent jump off the edge and puff him out when dropping off the edge.

Luigi Ladder

To do this, stand a distance apart with 2 Luigis, then continuely use your Up+B move and you should keep going on to the top infinitely.

Peach saver...

If you are on the alien level (the one where the ufo comes down) and you are peach, when you get hit down one of the holes between buildings, press left or right (which ever whay there is more room) and press the b button. Peach will do he butt blaster and bonce of the wall, slightly goung up, repeat this to get back on the side.

Great dodge

To dodge some tough-to-beat moves quickly tap < or > and R and you will do some weird move that gets you to the other side of your opponent unharmed.

Easy way to kill people with hammers

If you were just killed by a person with a hammer then this is the perfect time to strike. If he is still in use with it then quickly chase after him because when you come back you are invonurable for a few seconds, grad him and throw him , he should drop the hammer.

Dr. Mario and Mario differences

Dr. Mario:

-Has electrical Forward Smash attack, while Mario's is fire-based
-Spins in the opposite direction than Mario in Dr. Tornado, which is the same thing as Mario Tornado
-Uses longer cape in his sheet attack, which is similar to Mario's Cape
-His backflips are slower and less frequent than Mario's
-Runs slower than Mario
-Megavitamins, related to Mario's Fireball, do more damage and have more bounce, and make a shield absorption burst when it disappears or hits anything; Mario's Fireballs have less bounce, do less damage, and causes foe to be on fire temporarily

Mewtwo

There's an easy way to get Mewtwo: Put the CPU on level 1 and with Jigglypuff. Put Handicap on and at 1. Set the Stock for 1.

Then go to a stage like Final Destination and run to Jigglypuff, using your dash attack. She dies, giving you a win. I find that's the easy way, I've fought 4995 vs. matches, so it was easy for me.

PS: Link, Fox, Mewtwo, Dr. Mario, Zelda and Ganondorf rocks! Death to Ice Climbers and Luigi!

Um, hello?!

Ahem...anyway as for the REAL Super Smash Brothers Melee Cheats:

1. Dr. Mario-Either play 100 versus matches OR beat Classic or Adventure mode WITHOUT continuing.

2. Falco Lombardi-Ah...don't you just love Starfox? I can't get enough of it. Play 300 Versus matches OR defeat the 100 Man Melee mode.

3. Ganondorf- Beat Event Match #39 (Triforce Gathering). Pretty much the same as Captain Falcon...

4. Jigglypuff- Beat Classic OR Adventure mode with any character. I personally don't like playing as Jigglypuff, but hey, play to your strengths...

5. Luigi- Beat Stage One of Adventure Mode (Mushroom Kingdom) when the timer shows a "2" in the last seconds place (the fourth digit from the left).

When you go to the next section of this stage ( the fight against Mario and Peach), Luigi will jump onto the screen and replace Mario. Defeat the pair within a minute and Luigi will challenge you again once you defeat Adventure mode.

6. Marth- Play 70 Versus matches OR play Classic, Adventure, or Versus mode with EACH of the 14 normal characters.

7. Mewtwo- I've seen many people acting skeptical toward the fact that Mewtwo is a playable character, thanks to the aforementioned false-cheat-posting-retards.

But, yes, Mewtwo indeed is a playable character in Super Smash Brothers Melee. It'll take quite a while, though-you have to play 700 Vs. matches OR play Versus mode for 20 hours.

Here's how I did it: Have any two characters (both human controlled) fight in versus, but instead of fighting, simply let the game sit for 20 hours.

Go watch a movie, ride an ATV, go to bed, whatever (I chose the ATV option) as long as the versus match runs for 20 hours.Besides, who wants to play 700 Versus matches? Nintendo must have had some issues while making this game...

8. Mr Game and Watch- Remember those Mr. Game and Watch handheld games? Well, Mr. Game and Watch is revitalized in Super Smash Brothers Melee.

Simply unlock ALL of the other characters first (read ahead before you read this, there's still more characters-ARGH, more typing!), then beat Classic, Adventure, or Target Test mode with them all. Power to the Old Skool!

9. Pichu- Play 200 Versus matches OR beat Event Match #37 (Legendary Pokemon).

10. Roy Beat Classic OR Adventure mode as Marth without continuing. Easy enough...

11. Young Link- FINALLY! The last character I have to type! Play a staggering 500 Versus matches OR just beat Classic or Adventure mode with 10 different characters (two of which must be Link or Zelda)

Merry Christmas to all, even the lamers that make up false cheats ( OK, well, maybe not). See you guys around!

Teamwork pays off !

Ask your partner to choose fox, falco, or any other characters that can kick/punch really fast.

Then choose whatever character you want.
Now ask your partner to trap the opponent in a fast kick/punch move.

While they're doing that stand next to the trapped opponent, (but don't get in the way.) and do a full-charged, Smash Attack!

BOOM! There goes your opponent! Smile

Sandbag blast/Event Stage 51

Yoshi is far and away the best character to get good distance. I've hit more than 1600. Jump once and come down on the bad with an A-attack. You can get in 5 of these (and roughly 125% damage) if your timing is perfect, and then blast away.

Yoshi is also a good character to use for Event 51. Focus on G-Bowser at first by using Yoshi's very high jump. You can eliminate him early in your second life with a little luck.

Mega Super Giant Mario & Luigie and Daisy

OK they aren't exactally cheats but there cool!

First: MEGA SUPER GIANT MARIO!

Ok this is easy.Play Giant melee and play as mario, then get a super mushroom and then do your fighter stance YOU WILL BE HUGE!!!!

P.S. It's more fun to verse small people (yoshi, ness, kirby, Mr. G & W) or big people (Dk , Bowser Ganondorf, Mewtwo)!!

Second: Luigie and Daisy

You Know how in adventure mode you verse Mario & Peach , right?

Well play as peach and finish the First Course with a time of 3:32
instead of versing Mario and Peach you will verse Luigie and Daisy!!

P.S. This is also the way you unlock luigie you can't unlock daisy but switching peach's costume lets you play as her!!!!

P.S.S: It's kinda funny playing as peach and NOT getting a time of 3:32 you will verse mario & daisy and it's kind of funny slapping around mario like he's cheating on peach!!!!!

Easy fox ko

When on classic mode with fox and on a 1-on-1(or 1-on-2) battle an easy way to get ko's: When the match starts run next to your enemy and use his upA move.

Let go of A but not up.

When you let go of A start tapping A and use his weak upA move until your enemy has about 95% damage he let go off.

P.S. This cheat will not work on giant enemies!

If you want to get instant k.o.'s with Mewtwo, follow this:
turn your back to your enemy, and hold "b".

The phsycic ball should be charging. Once there is no more rumbling in your controller, move either left or right.

Mewtwo's hand should have the power glowing over it. When the enemy comes to you, press the "a" button simultaneously.(keep pressing "a" repeatedly!) keep on doing this until the enemy reaches 100% or more. Then press "b" and fire it at your opponent. You should have an easy K.O.

Hidden Stages

To get Brinstar Depths, Big Blue, Poke` Floats, and Fourside play 50 VS. mode matches.

You'll get one of these stages chosen at random every 50 matches.

Double Double-Edge/ Event match #46

Ever notice that if you press B>B> Roy does something like a Quadruple-Edge attack?

To beat event match 46 choose jigglypuff and start to jump up.

Wait for Marth and Roy to get underneath you.

Then fall back down and use down B(make sure you are close to the edge).

Repeat this until all three of their lives are gone. Avoid bombs, shells, stuff like that. Remember to get health items. Don't worry about your lives too much.

See ya

Roy rules

DK stage64 past stage

I have a hint to win the stage.

Choose DK and do his under b attack the whole time.

Thank you must try to stay alive.

However,on termina(great bay)the moon doesn't move,it only gets bigger.

III. The Shooters

According to definition in the original Super Smash Bros. for N64, a shooter

attack is a projectile attack. Each projectile attack is different, even if

they seem the same. Even if you know how to attack from up close, you cant win

unless you know how to attack from a distance. This FAQ will cover those

special attacks plus 4 items that can shoot projectiles. I will cover first the

starting characters, then non- clone unlock characters, then clone unlock

characters, ending with items.

A. Mario

Available: At start

Special Attacks: Fireball (shooter), Cape, Super Jump Punch, Mario

Tornado

Fireball: This attack sends out a ball of fire at your opponent. It

reacts to gravity and will bounce. No matter what the range, this

attack starts out at 6%. The more consecutive times you use it, the

damage will drop to 3% over time. (These references will later be

referred to as 3-6%.)

Tested At: Final Destination

B. Pikachu

Available: At start. Initially, Pikachu will be between Mario and Bowser.

After unlocking Luigi (see III-O), Pikachu will move two rows down,

to the leftmost ? spot.

Special Attacks: Thunder Jolt (shooter), Skull Bash, Quick Attack,

Thunder

Thunder Jolt: On the ground, its a bolt of electricity that jumps, then

hits an opponent. In the air, its a spark that goes down and the

direction Pikachu is facing. At close range, this attack will

juggle and do 5-10%. If youre farther away, the attack makes the

opponent only slightly flinch and do 3-7%.

Tested At: Final Destination

C. Bowser

Available: At start

Special Attacks: Fire Breath (shooter), Koopa Claw, Whirling Fortress,

Bowser Bomb

Fire Breath: An attack that spews fire at close range. The attack will

die after a short time. While the attack is still useful, it does

1-3% damage per hit. This attack easily creates combos in Training

mode.

Tested At: Final Destination

D. Peach

Available: At start

Special Attacks: Toad, Peach Bomber, Peach Parasol, Vegetable

Shooter: None

E. Yoshi

Available: At start

Special Attacks: Egg Lay, Egg Roll, Egg Toss (shooter), Yoshi Bomb

Egg Toss: You would expect an Up-B move to be a triple jump, eh?

BZZZZZZZZZ! Yoshi has no Triple Jump (unless you count the Air

Dodge). Egg Toss is Yoshis shooter attack, located at an awkward

position. You can aim the egg with your Control Stick. The eggs

burst should do 6-12% damage.

Tested At: Battlefield

F. DK

Available: At start

Special Attacks: Giant Punch, Headbutt, Spinning Kong, Hand Slap

Shooter: None

G. C. Falcon

Available: At start

Special Attacks: Falcon Punch, Raptor Boost, Falcon Kick, Falcon Dive

Shooter: None

H. Fox

Available: At start

Special Attacks: Blaster (shooter), Fox Illusion, Fire Fox, Deflector

Blaster: Can be fired fast, and does not make the opponent flinch. Each

hit does 1-2% damage.

Tested At: Final Destination

999%, Execution Style: Have two human players. Choose Fourside or Temple.

Have one player be Fox. Do not use items. Pin the person who isnt

Fox to a wall and start using the Blaster. You should be able to

rack up major damage, even get up to the maximum 999%, without your

opponent even moving. I inserted this scenario to tell you of the

uniqueness of Foxs Blaster.

I. Ness

Available: At start

Special Attacks: PK Flash, PK Fire (shooter), PK Thunder (shooter), PSI

Magnet

PK Fire: Using the Smash-B attack, Ness shoots out fire that burns the

opponent and easily creates combos. To increase the combo, simply

keep repeating the move. Each hit does 1-4% damage, and each 8

combo does up to 10%.

Tested At: Final Destination

PK Thunder: The move that created an infamous glitch involving Samus (see

III-L) in the original Super Smash Bros., Nesss triple jump allows

a projectile to be moved, then hits Ness to put him back on screen.

You can use this attack for more than that, though. You can aim it

at someone else and do 4-8% damage with it.

Tested At: Final Destination

J. Ice Climbers

Available: At start

Special Attacks: Ice Shot (shooter), Squall Hammer, Belay, Blizzard

(shooter)

Ice Shot: If both Popo and Nana are together, two blocks are shot out.

If Popo is alone, or if Nana spontaneously performs the move, only

one block is shot out. If both Popo and Nana contribute, the attack

does 5-14% for the 2-combo that is created. One ice block should

create 3-5%.

Tested At: Final Destination

Blizzard: Easier to test than Ice Shot, since Popo and Nana do it in

opposite directions if done together, all we had to do is measure

one stream. Each it is worth 1-2% damage, and a 7-hit combo does up

to 12%. This move can also act like the Freezie item and freeze the

opponent.

Tested At: Final Destination

K. Kirby

Available: At start

Special Attacks: Copy, Hammer, Final Cutter, Stone

Shooter(s): Kirby has no default Shooter, but if you use Copy to take the

powers of someone with a B shooter attack, Kirby can use that attack

as a Shooter for the same power. This principle was not tested,

though.

L. Samus

Available: At start

Special Attacks: Charge Shot (shooter), Missile (shooter), Screw Attack,

Bomb

Charge Shot: You can let a shot out weakly in the air, or make it

stronger by charging it. A weak shot is worth only 1-3% damage, but

if you charge it up, you can do 13-25% for a fully charged shot.

Tested At: Battlefield, Final Destination

Missile: You can use the Control Stick to aim this projectile attack.

The attack does about 6-12% damage.

Tested At: Final Destination

M. Zelda

Available: Both Zelda and her alter ego, Sheik, can be used from the very

start. To access Sheik, use Zeldas Down-B move. Use Down-B again

to change back. You can also change at the very start by holding A

as a level begins.

Special Attacks (Zelda): Nayrus Love, Dins Fire (shooter), Farores

Wind, Transform

Special Attacks (Sheik): Needle Storm (shooter), Chain, Vanish, Transform

Dins Fire: This attack of Zeldas can be guided with the Control Stick.

Let go of B to stop the attack and have the attack explode where

placed. Used as a projectile attack, this attack does 4-7% damage

(not bad for a princess).

Tested At: Final Destination

Needle Storm: When Zelda harnesses the Transform power and becomes Sheik,

she can use this move. Up to 6 needles can be shot using this move.

One needle alone does 1-3% damage. A fully charged attack of 6

needles does 9-17% damage. This projectile is not easily seen, so

this attack can surprise your foes.

Tested At: Final Destination

N. Link

Available: At start

Special Attacks: Bow (shooter), Boomerang (shooter), Spin Attack, Bomb

Bow: Charge up the Bow by holding B down longer. Let go right away close

and you do about 3-6%. But let the arrow fly farther and the attack

does 9-18% damage. The arrows are affected by gravity.

Tested At: Final Destination

Boomerang: At close range, facing the opponent, this attack will do 11-

16% damage. If you stand farther, the attack only does 3-6% damage.

If you stand close to your opponent, but with your back to the

opponent, jump, and 1-2% damage will be done.

Tested At: Final Destination

O. Luigi

Available: Complete the first part of the first stage in Adventure Mode

(Mushroom Kingdom) with a 2 in the seconds place (XX:X2:XX). Luigi

will replace Mario in the next battle. Defeat Luigi quickly. Then

finish Adventure Mode. At the end, face Luigi again. Defeat him

and hes yours. Or, you can play 800 VS. Mode matches.

Special Attacks: Fireball (shooter), Green Missile, Super Jump Punch,

Luigi Cyclone

Fireball: This Fireball is green and is not affected by gravity. Other

than that, this attack is the same as Marios Fireball. 3-6% damage.

Tested At: Final Destination

P. Jigglypuff

Available: Complete either Classic Mode or Adventure Mode once under any

condition at all, or play 50 VS. Mode matches.

Special Attacks: Rollout, Pound, Sing, Rest

Shooter: None.

Q. Mewtwo

Available: Play 20 combined hours of VS. Mode (the more human players

there are, the faster the time racks up). Or, play 700 VS. Mode

matches.

Special Attacks: Shadow Ball (shooter), Confusion, Teleport, Disable

Shadow Ball: It starts out just like Samuss Charge Shot in that it does

1-3% for a weak shot and 13-25% for a fully charged shot. But,

unlike Charge Shot, it doesnt end there. Mewtwo has the ability to

hurt opponents with the charge. If a foe hits the charge, a single

hit will do 1-2%, and a 4-combo done this way does 5-6%.

Tested At: Battlefield, Final Destination

R. Mr. Game and Watch

Available: Clear one of the following with all 24 other characters:

Classic Mode, Adventure Mode, Target Test. Or, play 1000 VS. Mode

matches.

Special Attacks: Chef (shooter), Judgement Hammer, Fire, Oil Panic

Chef: Launches sausages from a frying pan. They are flung at a random

angle from an opponent. A single sausage would do about 2-4%

damage. A 2-sausage combo does about 5-9%.

Tested At: Final Destination

S. Marth

Available: Use all 14 of the available at start characters at least

once in VS. Mode. Or, you could clear Classic or Adventure Mode

with those characters. Or, you could play 400 VS. Mode matches.

Special Attacks: Shield Breaker, Dancing Blade, Dolphin Slash, Counter

Shooter: None

T. Dr. Mario

Available: Clear Classic or Adventure Mode with Mario, or play 100 VS.

Mode matches.

Special Attacks: Megavitamins (shooter), Super Sheet, Super Jump Punch,

Dr. Tornado

Megavitamins: Exactly similar to Marios fireballs except for the

multicolored pills and the fact that the attack does 4-8% damage.

Tested At: Final Destination

U. Ganondorf

Available: Clear Event Match 29, or play 600 VS. Mode matches.

Special Attacks: Warlock Punch, Gerudo Dragon, Dark Dive, Wizards Foot

Shooter: None

V. Falco

Available: Clear the 100-Man Melee, or play 300 VS. Mode matches.

Special Attacks: Blaster (shooter), Falco Phantasm, Fire Bird, Deflector

Blaster: Unlike Foxs Blaster, Falcos Blaster makes the foe flinch.

Falcos Blaster does 1-3% damage.

Tested At: Final Destination

W. Young Link

Available: Clear Classic or Adventure mode with at least 10 characters,

including Link and Zelda. Or play up to 500 VS. Mode matches.

Special Attacks: Fire Bow (shooter), Boomerang (shooter), Spin Attack,

Bomb

Fire Bow: (WARNING: May contain some inaccurate information.) Unlike

Links Bow, Young Link has arrows that catch flame. According to

the info I got, the Fire Bow does 9-15% damage with a weak shot, and

8-15% damage with a strong shot.

Tested At: Final Destination, Yoshis Story

Boomerang: Young Link has a stronger Boomerang than Link (3-7% at farther

distances, 12-19% at closer distances). Young Link also has the

return capability of jumping over a returning boomerang for 1-2%

damage.

Tested At: Final Destination

X. Pichu

Available: Clear Event Match 37, or play 200 VS. Mode matches.

Special Attacks: Thunder Jolt (shooter), Skull Bash, Agility, Thunder

Thunder Jolt: Essentially the same as Pikachus (5-10% at close distance,

3-7% farther away). However, Pichu does damage to itself when it

launches Thunder Jolt (1% to itself).

Tested At: Final Destination

Y. Roy

Available: Clear Classic or Adventure Mode with Marth, or play 900 VS.

Mode matches.

Special Attacks: Flare Blade, Double-Edge Dance, Blazer, Counter

Shooter: None

Z. Ray Gun

The Ray Gun is an item that contains 16 shots, and can be shot at any

distance. Each shot does 2-4% damage.

Tested At: Final Destination

AA. Fire Flower

The Fire Flower is an item that shoots flame, like Bowsers Fire Breath.

It contains enough fire to last for 6 seconds. Each 3-combo tap does 3-4%

damage. So far, the Fire Flower is known to contain enough to do 49%

damage.

Tested At: Final Destination

AB. Super Scope

The Super Scope can be used two ways: shooting light shots, or charging

it up like Samuss Charge Shot and Mewtwos Shadow Ball. If you release

weak shots, it launches 3 at a time, and does 2% damage. Fully charged

shots do 15-25% damage. The Super Scope can launch 48 weak shots, 3 fully

charged shots, or the shot types can be combined.

Tested At: Final Destination

AC. Star Rod

The Star Rod can be used as both a clobbering item and a shooter. If you

simply clobber, you do about 5-10% damage per. Smash clobbers (I call

them star clobbers, since it presumably combines both the clobber and the

shot) does 20-34% damage in a 2-combo. Or, you can launch a star from a

distance and do 6-10% damage per hit. The Star Rod contains 16 shots.

Captain Falcon and Sheik launch multiple shots per swing.

Tested At: Final Destination

IV. Conclusion

Well, I hope you learned how to attack from a distance using this FAQ. If you

have any questions (no, Sonic and Tails are NOT in the game), I will put them

into a future FAQ section. Happy shooting!

To make the game more interesting during multiplayer mode try these games:

Put the special melee rule on and pick stamina mode. Try putting only one item on such as warp stars or star man with ten lives and see who wins.

It also makes it a little more fun picking small areas like the Donkey Kong jungle area or the Great Termina Bay.

Also try putting the game on fixed camera mode and picking small characters like Pichu or Kirby and putting items on a very high falling speed while only using poke'balls and cloaking devices.

Have Fun!
