After disembarking from the train, talk to the kid who will give you a quiz. For pokemon x, the answer is “Thread”. You'll receive a Max Revive from him. Leave the station and an old gentleman will approach you. You'll receive the Vs. Recorder from him. This item will enable you record a battle against friends or special facilities. You can also upload these videos to the internet.

The Pokemon Center in the middle has an NPC called Judge who can evaluate your Pokemon. Take note of what he says; the stats he mentions has something to do with your Pokemon's IVs. You can also buy some new TM s. Just remember using the Bargain Power to cut the prices.

Enter the next house to the east of the Pokemon Center. Talk to the little girl upstairs to receive TM91 Flash Cannon. Head outside and go upstairs north. You'll find a Nugget in plain view to the east.

Head to the left and you'll find the building called the Battle Maison. You can exchange your earned BP (Battle Points) here for some cool TMs, consumable items and held items. For more information about the Battle Maison, follow this link.

Enter the house to the west and talk to the man there. He'll ask for your opinion regarding the technique he wants to use in a battle. In pokemon x, the answers are: Iron Ball, Smack Down and Teravolt. After giving him the correct answers, he'll challenge you to a battle.

Head north of that house and talk to the girl sitting on the right to receive TM58 Sky Drop. Head further to the east and you'll find the Friend Safari. Here you can go on a Safari of a friend who's registered in your Friend List.

The Pokemon that will appear is tied up to a corresponding Friend Code. If a registered friend happens to be a Pokemon player too, more Pokemon will appear. You or your friends don't need to be online to use this feature.

Further to the north, you'll find your rival. You can talk to him/her and accept his/her request to battle. Be prepared though since his/her team has improved a lot since your last battle.

After defeating Serena, she'll hand over an Absolite. Talk to her again and she'll mention about the Mega Ring upgrade, courtesy of the Professor.

Head to the sundial in Anistar City and you'll find the professor there. Talk to him to upgrade your Mega Ring and he'll tell you that you can only find some Mega Stones while there's a ray of light from the sundial, between 8PM to 9PM. Thought that's a limited amount of time, remember that you can always trick the game by manually changing your system's time. To learn the locations of the other mega stones, follow this guide.
