Couriway Town

In this town:

• Pokemon Center
• Couriway Hotel

As soon as you enter the town, you can find a Pokemon Center to your right. The center doesn't have any interesting NPCs or special items for sale. Heal up there and head south. There's a hidden Pretty Wing in the lone bush south of the Pokemon Center.

Enter the house to the west and talk to the little girl. Show her a Pokemon that has the move Nuzzle (Pikachu, Dedenne, Plusle, Minun, Pachirisu or Emolga) to receive a Revive. Head south and get the hidden Burn Heal in front of the benches to the east. Go upstairs and you'll find a hidden Ether after the first set of stairs.

Continue to the train station where you can talk to an old woman to receive TM89 U-Turn. Continue to the right side of the station to get a Rare Candy.

There's also a hidden Pokeball in the middle of the benches to the left of the Rare Candy. If you press in the southern side of the rightmost bench, you'll find a hidden message.

Save your game and attempt to cross the bridge south of the town. Sycamore will appear and you'll have to battle him with the evolved Kanto Starters.

Pokemon Professor Sycamore (Prize Money: p7,000)

• LV50 Venusaur (Grass/Poison)
• LV50 Blastoise (Water)
• LV50 Charizard (Fire/Flying)

Unless you're pretty under-leveled, you shouldn't have problems facing Sycamore's Kanto Starters. Pummel Venusaur with Ice or Fire attacks, defeat blastoise with grass or electric and deal with Charizard using water, rock or ground attacks.

After defeating the Professor, head south and enter the house to the left. Talk to the woman in the middle and she'll ask you about your starter Pokemon. If you answered her questions correctly, she'll give you an item that will boost your starter's corresponding elemental moves. If you have Fennekin as your starter, you'll receive a Charcoal, you'll get a Mystic Water for Froakie and a Miracle Seed for Chespin. You can only get one of these.

Go upstairs to the right and you'll find a Photo Spot and the Couriway Hotel.

Enter the Hotel and talk to the girl to the right side of the lobby. She'll give you a question and if you answer it correctly, you'll receive TM55 Scald. Head to the second floor of the hotel and you'll find Mr. Bonding in his favorite, right-most side room. Talk to him to receive Stealth Power LV1.

Leave the hotel and go to the right side. Talk to the man there and he'll sell you a Fresh Water for p300. You'll also get an Oran Berry. You can only buy from him once a day. Go north of his position and find the hidden Prism Scale in the middle of streams. Grab the Max Potion in the upper right corner as well.
