Introduction

This game has been out for a while now but for a person who wants to buy it and aren't sure if they want to shell out that much money they might want this review. The game sets off in a different region with the same task and most controls of the first, catch and befriend Pokemon with your styler. Well it's time to start reviewing.

Graphics

With more glossed graphic than the first it and more Pokemon to look at and catch it puts it above the first. The Pokemon look a bit different from the other Pokemon games with a few minor changes. The best part about the graphics is the bottom screen of the Ds makes things flow great with the top screen and when you catch Pokemon and look at the top and bottom it looks and flows perfect. That gets the graphics a 9 out of 10.

Sound

The sound is not bad but not good. With many of the same sounds as the first people who played both might get a bit irritated at the game. The people who never played the game may think the sound is just mediocore or fantastic depending on the person. I was one of the people who got a bit irritated at the games sound. The sound gets a 6 out of 10.

Gameplay

This game uses both screens good in the Ds. The capuruing is challenging as well as a fantastic, the difficulty gets to be hard toward the end but is still playable. You play as a up and coming ranger who graduates and works as a local ranger. There just has to be trouble though with men and woman of a orginization trying to control all the pokemon. The game does put out a good storyline but one thats been told in many games, that gives the score a 7 out of 10

Lastability

I guess the world is pretty open to explore after beating the inital game, but the side quests aren't challenging just annoying, with more fun being getting the many Pokemon in this game. The exploring is fun with the fact that you have to get some certain Pokemon to get through a puzzle in the game. The lastability gets a 7 out of 10.

Overall

This game does have good graphics and good controls but I would not expect a new person to Pokemon would choose this title. This game is really good for people who played the first or someone who wants to catch a Pokemon using the stylist as a controller for the game. I give the game a 7 out of 10 for the pure fact that there are more better games for Pokemon fans, but is good for fans of the first Ranger game.
