Introduction

Pokemon Platinum is the 3rd Runner of the Sinnoh Generation from Diamond and Pearl. There are a lot of improvements as well as new features available such as the Battle Frontier and the BattleGround. POkemon Platinum is a really good game and I am a big fan of the Pokemon Videogame series. A must-have.

Graphics

The graphics are above average but not quite perfect as the characters do not seem to act or look real e.g they all look the same like psychics look exactly the same, and some of the battle scenes look a bit warped. 8 out of 10 is a respectable score for graphics I'd say, but the graphics are better than in Diamond and Pearl.

Sound

The music... It doesn't really sound very good and the instruments sound a bit too much retro. The only good sounds are some of the attacks used. The music could be improved and when you bump into walls it makes a stupid noise similar to 'da'. 6 out of 10 for sounds.

Gameplay

The gameplay is the best thing about this game. It is so fun and addictive to play, I'm always on my Nintendo DS. The first time I started the game it only took me 3 days to complete the main story. Very fun to play. Also, there are always plenty of things to do and it never gets boring. 10 out of 10 definitely.

Lastability

Like I said it lasts a long time. Once you finish the main storyline there are still tons of stuff to do afterwards. On POkemon Diamond on Pearl there was loads to do, on Platinum, even more! The fun never ends. But the thing is sometimes it can get a bit annoying as there are some pointless events in the storylines. So 9 out of 10 for Lastability.

Overall

Overall this game is really good, but there are a few glitches too. If the sounds were improved then it would have been a 9 but no more. Still, apart from the glitches and sounds this game is a must-get. Brilliant. The fun gameplay and storyline is what gives this game it's extraordinary enjoyment. * out of 10. A generous score.
