The DexNav is very important app in your PokeNav Plus that can tell you what Pokemon are living in an area. It can display the Pokemon you captured and the ones you haven't caught yet. The DexNav also has a capability to add new PokeDex entries just by encountering the Pokemon without fighting them. This is a very handy tool for trainers that want to increase the entries of their Pokedex or when trying to catch specific Pokemon only.
Interface
On the DexNav screen, you'll see an overhead map of the area you're in. If you encountered a Pokemon in the area, it will appear as a full-colored icon. If you encountered a Pokemon but haven't caught it, its icon will appear as a silhouette.
If you've caught at least one of a certain kind of Pokemon, you can filter the others out by using the DexNav's Search function. Simply tap the Pokemon's icon on the DexNav screen and the option to search will appear for it. This is really handy if you're just hunting for a specific Pokemon. When you've registered all of the Pokémon to be found in the current area, a mark of completion will appear in the screen's upper-right corner.
Hidden Pokemon
Sometimes, you'll see a part of a hiding Pokemon sticking out of the tall grass or splashing out of the water. You can use the DexNav's convenient Search function to get more data about this hiding Pokemon. This allows you to learn more about what Pokemon is waiting for you like its moves, ability, potential, and more. After that, you can carefully sneak behind that Pokemon to trigger a wild encounter. Avoid moving too fast, using the D-pad or the bike as it will scare the Pokemon away.
Registering Pokemon without Battling
Now you can register new Pokemon without fighting them. If you see a Pokemon anywhere with its trainer, you can use the DexNav to register that Pokemon. Carefully approach Pokemon hordes and the DexNav will scan and register them for you. Registering isn't enough though; you still need to search for these Pokemon in the wild or gain them through other tested means like trading.
Leveling up your DexNav
The DexNav keeps track of the times you encountered any Pokemon. Every time you see a Pokemon through wild encounter battles, while traveling, or seeing domesticated ones with their owners, it increases the level of the Pokemon's entry in the DexNav, allowing the app to display more information when you search for that Pokemon again in the wild. According to Serebii.net, here are some of the details you can see as you approach a specific Pokemon:
National Pokedex
After finishing the story involving Primal Groudon and Primal Kyogre, you can go talk to Prof. Birch to receive the National Pokedex. Prof. Birch will explain how the climate change made it possible for a new variety of Pokemon to appear in the region. In different routes, you'll now encounter Pokemon not native in the region. Most areas will have three of these non-native Pokemon and they can only be captured through the special spots that activate the DexNav.
Dude chill lol its a brand new game, not some rom you can downlaod. If there are any cheats it wil take time to collect data, verify and post them up. But all in all dexnav freakin rules! All this info so far is 100% true
