Introduction

Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Time may be the first Mystery Dungeon I have ever played(in which there was only two), this game has changed my life, in little ways. Ok so this starts out with a starter pokemon: chimchar, charmander, cyndaquil, torchic, totodile, mudkip, piplup, squirtle, treeko, chikorita, turtwig, bulbasaur, pikachu, meowth, and munchlax. The hero, you, is out cold and ends up on a beach. Your partner is all the other Pokemon besides the type you picked. Example: if you were chosen as chimchar, then your partners will be all the other Pokemon who is not fire. In order to get your character, you will have to answer questions on a quiz. You will then be chosen by the answers you have picked. More on that on the FAQs.

Graphics

To me the graphics were pretty good since I have not played the firts Mystery Dungeon. It shows everything clear, but the problem is that on the top screen during cut scenes, the picture does not move even though not much people look at the top screen. But every detail is inspected by some people. Example: The first cut scene, your partner explains that he/she like the scenery at the beach because the crabby like to blow bubbles, but after he/she says that, take a look a the top screen and tell me that bubbles appear. No it does not. What it shows is the sun setting and the light from the sun reflecting off the water. Those are graphics that were inspected by me. But other than that, everythng is perfect and that is why I give the graphics a seven.

Sound

The sound to tell you the truth is kind of boring. It plays the same thing I think since I don't listen to the sound much. But on the bright side, some of the songs are happy. On the dark side, the songs are either sad or just a bit moody. There is not much to say about this game's sound, but I can say that the song fits the scenery it is showing.

Gameplay

The gameplay is pretty good but not too good compared to the other Pokemon games. I don't care if the other games are not like this, but the gameplay is like.......exactly. I can't explain it. Even I don't understand this. Not much of these things I can explain but what I can say is that the game is thought out really well.

Lastability

The lastability is very small. I mean the first, maybe about, 11 chapters are very short. Well not that short, but you can probably get the game over in maybe about 4-5 days if you play 9/10 of your days. Well that's my estimate. Sometimes the lastability may have something to do with the hero and your partner. If you have a really good team, then you could beat the game in about my estimation of days and play like half or 1/4 of your day. Either way, the lastability is short. Especially if you use cheats like I do.

Overall

This game may be short with not good gameplay, but it is a good way to make time fly when you really are into Pokemon like most Pokemon fans. My advice for people who play Time/Darkness, take your time and go slowly. No need to rush. Hey, you might find something worth putting on a review, hint, cheat, or FAQs. So this game can help you if you are really bored and has beat the other Mystery Dungeon, Pearl, and Diamond. But the most important thing is to have fun and get frustrated by some of the things like dying because of your partner or some other dude. I'm just kidding, but you are going to get frustrated now and then. If you don't then well you don't and you will definitly surprise me.

Final Score: 64%
