From the creators of gamefreak and Nintendo comes the latest version of Pokemon History, a brand new world and a brand new beginning, comes Pokemon Diamond! Explore the Sinnoh region collecting gym badges and training the brand new and exclusive Pokemon along the way. The adventure begins with you in your house. Your mum says that your rival is waiting for you, who lives diagonally from you. You go to lake verity and get attacked by wild Pokemon, luckily for you, prof rowan leaves his suitcase behind, with three Pokemon for you to look at and choose, but will you succeed?
The graphics are those similar to Ruby/Sapphire and Emerald, but with some minor differences. The battling scene is the same old backround as all Pokemon games, although the Pokemon look more realistic and move a little bit, then stand in a funny position. I'd say the graphics are ok, but there's still room for improvement.
I don't really like the music, but that's my opinion, not yours. The music is suitable for the things going on and stuff but it's still rubbish. Say, for example, you were battling against Team Galactic yeah but the music isn't like lunar music but it's still suitable. 7 out of 10 is the highest score I would ever give it.
The story is set out very well and every bit of it makes sense, but the reason I didn't give it a 10 is because the game is quite short and you don't get time to train your pokemon. There are some very short side-quests but after you've finished the main story it gets a bit boring.
The lastability is brilliant and I've played it for 24 hours non'stop before. Although there isn't much to do I still play on it non-stop and eventually find something to do, but most of it counts on using cheats, I know it's bad but games aren't games without cheats right?
I think this is one hell of a game. A few adjustments could be made, e.g. The music and graphics but I still have one more important thing to say: GET THIS GAME OR YOU'LL SERIOUSLY REGRET IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Well, this is Poliet providing you with an official review for Pokemon Diamond on DS! Here is a hint to help you out: Gible, the dragon type Pokemon, can be found in wayward cave underneath cycling road(requires HM cut), there are two entrances and I will now tell you where the hidden entrance is: go to the right side of the road but don't reveal yourself, then go straight upwards and you will find a hidden entrance, now there is a better chance of finding a Gible, because Gibles are very rare. I hope this review was of some use to you. Goodbye!
