This is the Diamond Version of he long-running "Pokemon" series. The thing that makes this different from Pearl is how Pokemon appear and where. Thats it. Oh and Diamond has Dialga. You can communicate with Pearl through wireless communication and Nintendo's trusty Wifi. It can be linked to GBA Pokemon games with Dual Slot feature.
For one thing they have improved tremendously from Emerald and Ruby. Using DS graphics they upgraded things to a whole new level. Now their feet are seen much better and some of the 3-D effects are much enjoyable. For a DS game this is pretty good. The Pokemon have much more detail and the sprite icons have improved. Wether your looking at your Pokemon using summary or looking at their icon from "Pokemon" menu, your mind will be blown!
Music hasn't really improved much. It's the same old Emerald/Ruby/Sapphire music. When you fight criminals you still get that "60's-Police-Chase" music. The legendary Pokemon music hasn't changed much either. And yes, the PKMN Center music is still the same after all these years. The best music was Champion Battle Cynthia and Pokemon Battle Giratina.
This has to be the best in the series. Your blown. Yes. This game has the same old Pokemon Gameply. Its the same dang thing as the rest. You battle Gym Leaders, catch legendary Pokemon, you have a rival and your main goal is to catch every pokemon. What makes this one better? Wifi. Wifi took everything to the next level. Who doesn't like global trading and battling?
Ok put your Game Boy Advance down. Pokemon Diamond is out. Yes, I know your still probably playing Emerald but the new hip Pokemon game is out. I'm telling you now, you'll be playing this game for the rest of your life. Pokemon games last that long. I'm serious. This game will never end! As long is you have friends, you'll be trading and battling global for the rest of your life.
You know how it is. Overal this is a great game. As soon as you soak all the fun out of Pokemon Emerald, pick up a copy of Pokemon Diamond, if you haven't already. Its the best in the series with beautiful sound and gameplay. A must for PokeFreaks and casual gamers as well. Play it. I promise you won't be dissappointed!
