Wi-Fi Event Pokemon

When Pokemon Black 2 and White 2 released Nintendo and Gamefreak had the first WiFi Event Pokemon all lined up, as the Legendary Genesect was available from release date to 11 November 2012, offering gamers who bought the game early were treated to a special gift for their loyalty.

It is not surprising that they had an event Pokemon lined up when you consider that the game has already been out in Japan, and that the Japanese regional version has already had its first non-launch WiFi Event Pokemon distributed. We cannot say when that will happen in the rest of the world, but we can tell you about the one that Japan got!

The Recital Piplup

Released from July 20th 2012 to August 9th 2012 the first WiFi Event in Pokemon Black 2 & White 2 gives you a special Piplup to tie in with the related movie short feature, Meloetta's Sparkling Recital. This Piplup knows the special move of Sing, arrives with a Metronome, and in a special event Poke Ball.
