Although this seems reckless and crazy you should not be afraid to jump into hordes of monsters in Campaign and Survival modes. When you kill monsters in these modes they will sometimes drop random items such as armour, health packs, or an Invulnerability. The Invulnerability the monsters drop is particularly useful if you pick it up during the fight as it will protect you from the monsters for a few seconds enabling you to quickly kill them without worrying about dying.

The best weapon in Alien Shooter is the Flamethrower as it has the ability to shoot through walls, which enables you to make difficult situations easier if you use it at the right time. Don't waste money buying this expensive melee weapon at the game store as you will find it for free later on in the game.

There is no point spending your money at the game store at the end of every level on weapons as you can find these for free within levels. The only weapon you need to save your money for is the Magma Rifle which is essential for Level 10. This long range weapon costs $25,400 to purchase and is the second best weapon (first is the flamethrower) in the game. It is recommended that you fully upgrade your accuracy to make killing monsters with it faster and easier.

Make sure as you progress in the game you always destroy the boxes you find. It is important that you do this as it will make your game much easier as they can give you things such as additional lives, extra money, restore health packs, armour, ammunition for varies weapons, rescue bags (a med kit), and sometimes a drone or an immortality ball.
