When you have less than 300 HP find Yuzu in Takatane village and talk to her. Select the 'Oooh....Mother' option and after she has healed you talk to her again to have her join you. While she is your partner you can repeatedly talk to a vendor to get a random discount on purchases.
When you have collected the indicated amount of Samurai Points the corresponding accessory will become available.
