Some vehicle types are better suited for certain events than others. Each vehicle has four listed stats. The first stat is Speed, which measures how fast your car is able to go. The second stat is Drift, which measures how well your car is able to drift through the turns. The third stat is Strength, which measures how much your vehicle is affected by Power Play shockwaves. The final stat is Acceleration, which measures how fast your car can reach top speed from a dead stop. Each stat maxes out at 10 1. Season =========== Before you jump into the Split/Second season, you first have to complete the tutorial around a Construction site. You will have a few objectives that you need to clear first. First, you must complete a lap of the course. You will not earn any Power during this lap and no Power Plays will be active. After you complete the first lap, you will be told to earn enough Power to fill up one bar on the Power Play meter and use a Level 1 Power Play against an opponent. You will only earn Power by drifting and jumping. Opponents will begin to spawn and they will be spread all over the track, so you won't have to worry about lapping them. After you have successfully used a Level 1 Power Play, you will need to earn enough Power for a Level 2 Power Play. After using one successfully, you will have one last objective to complete. There will still be some Rivals driving around the course. Once you have taken out 3 of them, the tutorial will be finished. You can redo the tutorial at any time by going to the Extras option on the Main Menu. Episodes 1, 6, and 12 will always be the same, but you are able to select which order you want to participate in the other episodes ==================== SS3A. Rigged to Blow ==================== 300 Credits available 6 Events This will always be Episode 1 Event 1: Airport Terminal Event Type: Race Unlocked from beginning 3 Laps This event is pretty much the same as the demo event. Event 2: Downtown Central Event Type: Race Unlocked from beginning 2 Laps Event 3: Construction Site Event Type: Eliminator Unlocked from beginning In Eliminator events, the clock starts with 60 seconds on it. Once that has expired, last place is eliminated, but the clock will now only reset for every 20 seconds Event 4: Downtown Central Event Type: Eliminator Unlocked from beginning Event 5: Airport Terminal-Hanzo GT Challenge Event Type: Detonator Unlocked by wrecking 20 opponents in Episode 1 This car isn't too bad for this event; it has enough speed to get the win, but it gets really squirrelly near some of the bigger Power Plays, which in this event are activated by themselves. The Power Plays activate in this order: Taxis (on both sides of the split), Gas Station, Buses and Moving Van, Runway Route Change, Jet, and Radio Tower. You will not earn any Power during this event, so you are unable to use the shortcut. To win, you will have to finish in under 1:25.00 Event 6: Construction Site Event Type: Elite Race Unlocked by earning 150 Credits (See Elite Race section for more info) 3 Laps This race, for being so early, is actually somewhat challenging compared to the other events in this episode. Your Rivals will actually set off many Power Plays and their cars actually have some speed behind them ================ SS3B. Splashdown ================ 300 Credits available 6 Events Event 1: Port Bridge Event Type: Race Unlocked by choosing "Splashdown" Episode 3 Laps Event 2: Ferry Wharf Event Type: Race Unlocked by choosing "Splashdown" Episode 3 Laps Event 3: Airport Terminal Event Type: Air Strike Unlocked by choosing "Splashdown" Episode In Air Strike events, you will have to avoid the attack helicopter's missiles. The more waves you avoid in a row, the higher your multiplier goes, but 3 wrecks and the event is over. To win, you will need to score about 35,000 points Event 4: Ferry Wharf Event Type: Elimination Unlocked by choosing "Splashdown" Episode Event 5: Port Bridge Event Type: Air Strike Unlocked by wrecking 25 Rivals in "Splashdown" Episode Just like with the previous Air Strike event in this episode, you will need about 35,000 points to win Event 6: Airport Terminal Event Type: Elite Race Unlocked by earning enough Credits (See Elite Race section for more info) 3 Laps By now, you should be pretty familiar with this course. If any Rivals get ahead of you right before the finish, use the Helicopter stationed around the last turn to destroy them. ================== SS3C. Big Rig Boom ================== 300 Credits available 6 Events Event 1: Airplane Graveyard Event Type: Race Unlocked by choosing "Big Rig Boom" Episode 2 Laps Event 2: Storm Drain Speedway Event Type: Survival Unlocked by choosing "Big Rig Boom" Episode In Survival events, you will have to survive barrels being hurled at you by semis. Passing semis without wrecking increases your multiplier. Avoid the red barrels or you will wreck. You will need a little over 100,000 points to win Event 3: Port Bridge Event Type: Race Unlocked by choosing "Big Rig Boom" Episode 3 Laps Event 4: Airplane Graveyard-Ryback Thunder Challenge Event Type: Detonator Unlocked by choosing "Big Rig Boom" Episode This vehicle very bulky, so you will want to keep your speed up as much as you can. You will want to avoid drifting as well because it will slow you down too much, and you don't gain any Power in this event anyways. Due to the vehicle's size and speed it will be traveling at, you can drive it into the turns and let is slow down naturally and you'll be fine. To win, you will need to beat 1:54.00, which is possible as long as you don't wreck Event 5: Downtown Central Event Type: Air Strike Unlocked by wrecking 20 Rivals in "Big Rig Boom" Episode You will only need about 35,000 points to win the event Event 6: Ferry Wharf Event Type: Elite Race Unlocked by earning enough Credits (See Elite Race section for more info) 3 Laps This one might be a little challenging, but always keep at least enough Power to use a Level 1 Power Play at the end if you need to ================= SS3D. Sunset Fire ================= 300 Credits available 6 Events Event 1: Dry Docks Event Type: Eliminator Unlocked by choosing "Sunset Fire" Episode Event 2: Port Bridge-Ryback Coyote Challenge Event Type: Detonator Unlocked by choosing "Sunset Fire" Episode You will need to beat a 1:10.00 to win this event Event 3: Construction Site Event Type: Race Unlocked by choosing "Sunset Fire" Episode 3 Laps Event 4: Ferry Wharf Event Type: Race Unlocked by choosing "Sunset Fire" Episode 3 Laps Event 5: Dry Docks-Cobretti GT500 Challenge Event Type: Detonator Unlocked by wrecking 30 Rivals in "Sunset Fire" Episode You will need to beat a lap of 1:29.00 to win this event. The car you are given for this challenge has more than enough speed to get the win. The only downside is that it has terrible cornering and drifting isn't very good either. Event 6: Port Bridge Event Type: Elite Race Unlocked by earning enough Credits (See Elite Race section for more info) 3 Laps If you are in first, approaching the shortcut, make sure you have enough Power to use it; otherwise it could cost you the race =================== SS3E. Hit the Skids =================== 300 Credits available 6 Events Event 1: Expressway Event Type: Race Unlocked by choosing "Hit the Skids" Episode 2 Laps Event 2: Downtown Circuit Event Type: Survival Unlocked by choosing "Hit the Skids" Episode You will need to earn about 110,000 points to win this event Event 3: Dry Docks Event Type: Race Unlocked by choosing "Hit the Skids" Episode 3 Laps Event 4: Airplane Graveyard Event Type: Air Strike Unlocked by choosing "Hit the Skids" Episode You will still need about 35,000 points to win Event 5: Expressway-Cobretti Slipstream Challenge Event Type: Detonator Unlocked by wrecking 20 Rivals in "Hit the Skids" Episode You need to finish in under 1:49.00 to win this event Event 6: Downtown Central Event Type: Elite Race Unlocked by earning enough Credits (See Elite Race section for more info) 2 Laps ================= SS3F. Midway Pass ================= 300 Credits available 6 Events This will always be Episode 6 Event 1: Power Plant Event Type: Race Unlocked by choosing "Midway Pass" Episode 3 Laps Event 2: Port Bridge Event Type: Air Revenge Unlocked by choosing "Midway Pass" Episode In this event, you have to shoot the Helicopter down in under 2:10.00 to win. To do that, you need to build up Power by Drifting and Evading the missiles. As you build up Power, you can use Level 1 and 2 Power Plays against the chopper. Level 1 Power Plays send 1 missile back to the chopper and Level 2 Power Plays send back 3 missiles Event 3: Construction Site Event Type: Race Unlocked by choosing "Midway Pass" Episode 3 Laps Event 4: Warehouse Strip Event Type: Survival Unlocked by choosing "Midway Pass" Episode You will need about 120,000 points to win this event Event 5: Power Plant-Ryback Cyclone RS Challenge Event Type: Detonator Unlocked by wrecking 20 Rivals in "Midway Pass" Episode To win this event, you need to complete a lap in under 1:21.00 Event 6: Dry Docks Event Type: Elite Race Unlocked by earning enough Credits (See Elite Race section for more info) 3 Laps Place in the Top 3 to earn the Elite S510 ===================== SS3G. Threshold Break ===================== 300 Credits available 6 Events Event 1: Storm Drain Event Type: Race Unlocked by choosing "Threshold Break" Episode 2 Laps Event 2: Downtown Central Event Type: Air Revenge Unlocked by choosing "Threshold Break" Episode To win this event, you will need to bring down the chopper in under 2:10.00. Your best bet is to keep gaining power and fire off Level 2 Power Plays until the chopper is defeated Event 3: Airplane Graveyard Event Type: Race Unlocked by choosing "Threshold Break" Episode 2 Laps Event 4: Construction Site-Cobretti Pursuit Challenge Event Type: Detonator Unlocked by choosing "Threshold Break" Episode To win you need to post a lap faster than 1:17.00. This is probably one of the easier Detonators to win. This car has more than enough speed and as long as too many explosions don't push you around, you shouldn't have many problems getting 1st Event 5: Airport Terminal Event Type: Eliminator Unlocked by wrecking 20 Rivals in "Threshold Break" Episode Event 6: Expressway Event Type: Elite Race Unlocked by earning enough Credits (See Elite Race section for more info) 2 Laps If you have enough Power to change the route before the start of the second lap, do so. Almost every time you activate it, everyone ahead of you will end up wrecking ================= SS3H. Cleaning Up ================= 300 Credits available 6 Events Event 1: Storm Drain Event Type: Race Unlocked by choosing "Cleaning Up" Episode 2 Laps Event 2: Power Plant Event Type: Race Unlocked by choosing "Cleaning Up" Episode 3 Laps Event 3: Port Bridge Event Type: Eliminator Unlocked by choosing "Cleaning Up" Episode Event 4: Airport Terminal Event Type: Air Revenge Unlocked by choosing "Cleaning Up" Episode You will need to take out the chopper in under 2:05.00 to win Event 5: Storm Drain-Cobretti 530 GTS Challenge Event Type: Detonator Unlocked by wrecking 30 Rivals in "Cleaning Up" Episode To win, you will need to beat a lap of 1:35.00. This car is more than capable of winning this event, but how you pass each activated Power Play will determine how well you do. The one that will probably cause the most problems is the one where the train blows up outside of the track and the large canister falls onto the track. You have to spend as little time drifting through the water as possible. The rest of the Power Plays are pretty much the same ones that you encountered during the Detonator in "Midway Pass" Event 6: Power Plant Event Type: Elite Race Unlocked by earning enough Credits (See Elite Race section for more info) 3 Laps ===================== SS3I. Scorched Rubber ===================== 300 Credits available 6 Events Event 1: Dry Docks Event Type: Race Unlocked by choosing "Scorched Rubber" Episode 3 Laps Event 2: Storm Drain Event Type: Air Revenge Unlocked by choosing "Scorched Rubber" Episode To win, you will need to destroy the helicopter in under 2:05.00 Event 3: Expressway Event Type: Race Unlocked by choosing "Scorched Rubber" Episode 2 Laps Event 4: Warehouse Strip Event Type: Survival Unlocked by choosing "Scorched Rubber" Episode To win, you will need a score of about 140,000 points Event 5: Ferry Wharf-Cobretti Cascade Challenge Event Type: Detonator Unlocked by wrecking 25 Rivals in "Scorched Rubber" Episode To win this event, you will need to run a lap faster than 1:09.00. This one is relatively easy because by this point, you may have already unlocked this vehicle and taken it out a time or two, giving you some idea of how it handles. There aren't too many Power Plays here to begin with, so there won't be too many explosions to worry about Event 6: Airplane Graveyard Event Type: Elite Race Unlocked by earning enough Credits (See Elite Race section for more info) 2 Laps =================== SS3J. Boneyard Rush =================== 300 Credits available 6 Events Event 1: Canyon Event Type: Race Unlocked by choosing "Boneyard Rush" Episode 3 Laps Event 2: Power Plant Event Type: Eliminator Unlocked by choosing "Boneyard Rush" Episode Event 3: Desert Run Event Type: Survival Unlocked by choosing "Boneyard Rush" Episode You will need to score about 150,000 points Event 4: Downtown Central-Hanzo FX350 Challenge Event Type: Detonator Unlocked by choosing "Boneyard Rush" Episode To win this event, you will need to beat a lap of 1:38.00 to win. This car can get the win; however, you will need an absolute perfect race. The biggest thing that may slow you down is the stretch of track from the Excavator to the Garbage Truck. The better you are able to navigate that stretch, the better chances you have of winning. If you are able to pass the final Power Play with less than 1:30.00 on the clock, you should be able to get the win. Event 5: Canyon Event Type: Eliminator Unlocked by wrecking 30 Rivals in "Boneyard Rush" Episode Event 6: Storm Drain Event Type: Elite Race Unlocked by earning enough Credits (See Elite Race section for more info) 2 Laps =================== SS3K. One Last Push =================== 300 Credits available 6 Events Event 1: Storm Drain Event Type: Eliminator Unlocked by choosing "One Last Push" Episode Event 2: Airport Terminal Event Type: Race Unlocked by choosing "One Last Push" Episode 3 Laps Event 3: Downtown Circuit Event Type: Survival Unlocked by choosing "One Last Push" Episode You will need about 120,000 points to win this event Event 4: Airplane Graveyard Event Type: Eliminator Unlocked by choosing "One Last Push" Episode Event 5: Desert Run Event Type: Survival Unlocked by wrecking 30 Rivals in "One Last Push" Episode You will need a score of about 160,000 to win this event Event 6: Canyon Event Type: Elite Race Unlocked by earning enough Credits (See Elite Race section for more info) 3 Laps ===================== SS3L. Out with a Bang ===================== 300 Credits available 6 Events This will always be Episode 12 Event 1: Expressway Event Type: Eliminator Unlocked by choosing "Out with a Bang" Episode Event 2: Canyon Event Type: Race Unlocked by choosing "Out with a Bang" Episode 3 Laps Event 3: Storm Drain Speedway Event Type: Survival Unlocked by choosing "Out with a Bang" Episode You will need to score about 150,000 points to win this event Event 4: Canyon-Ryback Firestorm Challenge Event Type: Detonator Unlocked by choosing "Out with a Bang" Episode You will need to run a lap faster than 1:28.00 to win this event. The car that you use for this event likes to take the turns wide, so you may want to drift through some of the sharper turns. It may slow you down, but not as much as slamming into the wall could at times Event 5: Airplane Graveyard Event Type: Air Revenge Unlocked by wrecking 30 Rivals in "Out with a Bang" Episode To win this event, you will need to destroy the helicopter in under 1:45.00. This one is actually somewhat challenging. If you are having problems destroying the chopper in time for the win, cheat (in a sense). The event doesn't start until you cross the start line so before you do that, back up and then cross the line. The helicopter will probably fire off the first round almost as soon as you cross the line Event 6: Downtown Central Event Type: Elite Race Unlocked by earning enough Credits (See Elite Race section for more info) 3 Laps ================= SS3M. Elite Races ================= At the end of each Episode, you will have to participate in an Elite Race to advance to the next Episode. To unlock Elite Races, you will need to accumulate enough Credits. For the most part, if you participate in every event before participating in the Elite Race, after Episode 2, the Elite Races should be unlocked when you first choose the Episode. The Elite Racers use some of the most powerful cars in the game, even from the beginning. Compared to the AI in some of the other events, the Elite Racers seem to be smarter. They are better at avoiding Power Plays and, at times, only seem to use Power Plays against you, never amongst themselves. The Racers and the cars that they use never change from Episode to Episode. For the most part, the Elite Racers use Elite cars. In the early races, you will want to try and knock them out as often as you can, otherwise you may get a message that pops up saying 1st place is 10 seconds ahead. As you progress through the Episodes, and unlock better cars, it is a little easier keeping up with them. To advance to the next Episode, you will have to finish in at least 3rd place in the Elite Race. This is also how the Elite vehicles are unlocked. You always want to keep a Power Play bar or two ready to use at any time to open up a shortcut or wreck an opponent who passes you; this is especially true on the last lap. At the end of each race, you will earn points towards the Season Championship. The points are awarded 8/7/6/5/4/3/2/1 based on your finish in each Elite Race ================ SS4. Power Plays ================ Almost everything in the Split/Second environment can be used against your opponents or you. To activate Power Plays, you must first fill up the Power Play meter, located beneath you vehicle. To fill the Power Play meter, you must perform certain tasks. You can fill the meter by drafting your opponents, drift around corners, jumping and getting air, and close calls by surviving an Power Play an opponent tried to use to cause you to wreck. You can also fill the meter by passing an opponent while drafting or in the air and by getting into the Top 3. Power Plays are split into Level 1 Power Plays and Level 2 Power Plays. Level 1 Power Plays require one full bar of the Power Play meter to activate and are useful for taking out a couple of enemies at a time. Some Level 1 Power Plays can be used multiple times in the same event. Occasionally, you will be able to activate a Shortcut, a Level 1 Power Play variation, at the cost of one Power Play bar. Level 2 Power Plays require all 3 bars of the Power Play meter to be full and are capable of taking out most of the field, if timed well. All Level 2 Power Plays are single use, meaning after one person activates one, no one else will be able to activate it. Route Changer Power Plays are variations of Level 2 Power Plays. To change the route that everyone will take, you need all 3 Power Play bars to be full. Changing the route will shorten lap times. ================ SS5. Event Types ================ There are 6 different event types in Split/Second. Certain event types aren't unlocked until reaching a certain Episode in the Season. Race ---- All Races are either 2 or 3 Laps. Anything goes in races. As you progress through the Season, the cars your opponents drive will slowly get better compared to what you have, but they are still beatable. Regular AI racers that participate in Races will never use Elite cars, but any other car is available for them to use. Elite Races are mentioned above. As you progress, you will want to use your fastest car to keep up with the field. Eliminator ---------- A race to stay out of last; when Eliminators begin, there will be 60 seconds on the clock. Once that clock expires, last place will be eliminated. For the rest of the eliminations, the clock will only be reset to 20 seconds. You are able to gain Power in Eliminators, so you can use Power Plays to help win. Just like with Races, you will want to use your fastest car as you progress through the Season Air Strike ---------- In Air Strike, you are trying to survive being blown apart by an Attack Helicopter. The Helicopter will fire missiles onto the track ahead of you. Where the missiles will land is marked with an arrow. When the arrow turns red, the missiles will begin to fire. Where the missiles land can change, and if they do, they will usually only move slightly from where they were supposed to hit originally. The waves will start out with a few missiles and with each wave; usually the amount of missiles will increase. You will want to use a car that handles well or one with a high Strength rating, that way you won't lose too much control if a missile lands nearby. The scores needed to win these events are set scores and are usually no more than 35,000 points. You earn points based on how well you avoid the missiles and your multiplier increases as you survive the waves. If you avoid all the missiles without losing control of your car, you will get a Perfect Wave. Scoring usually starts at 1,500 points and each Perfect Wave after receives an extra 300 points. If a missile or two knocks you around a little, you survived the wave. Scoring starts around 500 points and increases by about 300 points. After each 3 waves survived, your multiplier increases. Air Strikes are only available at Downtown Central, Airport Terminal, Port Bridge, Airplane Graveyard, or Storm Drain Air Revenge ----------- Air Revenge is similar to Air Strike, except the Helicopter isn't the only one who can use the missiles. To win Air Revenge events, you will have to bring down the Helicopter fast enough. In Air Revenge, you are able to use Power Plays against the Helicopter. You can only gain Power by evading, drifting, and jumping (Doesn't happen often). If you get a Perfect Wave in this event, you will receive a decent chunk of Power. The Helicopter has 16 lives. To destroy it, you need to use Level 1 and Level 2 Power Plays against the chopper. Level 1 Power Plays will deflect 1 missile back at the Helicopter, taking away 1 life. Level 2 Power Plays will deflect 3 missiles and take out 4 lives. The easiest way to win is to only fire off Level 2 Power Plays as they deal the most damage. Air Revenge events can only be run on the same courses as Air Strike events. Survival -------- In Survival events, you will have to pass trucks that are trying to take you out. Survival events are run at either Storm Drain Speedway, Desert Run, Downtown Circuit, or Warehouse Strip. Survival events always start with 45 seconds on the clock. To score points, you need to pass the Big Rigs that are trying to take you out. The Big Rigs drop two types of canisters. The Blue canisters will slow you down if they hit you. The Red canisters will instantly wreck you if you touch them. Passing the first Rig will earn you 5,000 points and you will earn 500 points for each successive Rig that you pass, as well as putting time back on the clock. There are also 4 cars that drive around behind each Rig. These cars can sometimes be helpful and sometimes be a nuisance. When any canister, Red or Blue, touches these cars, they will wreck. If one of these wrecks ahead of you and you end up pushing the remains, you can use it as a shield against any canisters in your path, but it isn't always wise to do this. For every 3 Big Rigs you pass, you multiplier increases. If you still haven't won the Season event by the time the clock reaches 0, you will enter Sudden Death. In Sudden Death, the trucks become deadlier; now they will only drop red barrels, so one hit in Sudden Death will end the event Detonator --------- In Season, Detonators are pretty much Time Trials using cars that you will unlock later in the game (in most cases). In Detonator events, Power Plays will activate ahead of you, but they will never change. If you go to Port Bridge, every time you go, the Power Plays that activate are always the same. However, regardless of which course you choose, the Helicopters will NEVER drop bombs. The times needed to win each event in Season are set times and will never change Downtown Central-Crane before 1st turn, Bus, Garbage Truck, Helicopter flies Dump Truck through tunnel, Semi at the end of the bridge, Right side of second overhead crossing, Both sets of Taxis under tracks, and Left side of overhead crossing Airport Terminal- Taxis (on both sides of the split), Gas Station, Buses and Moving Van, Runway Route Change, Jet, and Radio Tower Construction Site-Helicopter and Dump Truck wreck, Crane, Building and crane collapse*, All 3 sets of taxis beneath tracks, Right side of overhead crossing, Bus, Taxis near turn, Bus, Vans, and Taxis *-When the building collapses, there is a path on the right you can take that will take you onto the tracks above the main course. You will rejoin the track after the 1st Bus Ferry Wharf-1st crate of Torpedoes, Airplane Carrier Route Change, Crane (Be careful because it will activate while you are in the air), and I-Beam (Right side goes up first) Port Bridge-Ship and crane (Crane activates as soon as it has enough room), Vans, Crane, and Bus Airplane Graveyard-Rockslide, Bridge support, Rock Blasts, Gas Station, Wrecking Ball, Freight car, Crane, Plane, Radio Tower, Helicopter with Plane nose, and Crane Dry Docks-Crates swing, Bus, Semi, Crane, Semi, Smoke Stack, Vans, and Crates Expressway-Expressway collapses; some vehicles fall onto track, Buildings (on both sides), School building, Helicopter flies Dump Truck into tunnel, Semi on left, Semi and Van, Gas Station, Train Route Change Power Plant-Smoke Stack opens side route, Warehouses, Machines and Gears, I-Beam (Left side goes up first), Cooling Towers, and Crane Storm Drain-Helicopter flies Dump Truck into bridge, Gates block left and right paths, Train and Giant Drum, Smoke Stack opens side route, Warehouses, Machines and Gears, and I-Beam (Left side goes up first) Canyon-Both sets of Falling Rocks, Dam Route Change, Giant machine part, Transformers, Bridge (Both supports are already gone), Crane, and Cliffside ============ SS6. Race Winner: Win your first Race event If you choose the first event on the first Episode, that race is pretty much the same as the demo; so winning shouldn't be much of a challenge 7. Untouchable (Hidden): Win a Race event without crashing Self-explanatory and shouldn't take too long to unlock 8. Split/Second (Hidden): Win a Race event by less than a second This one could take a while but should come eventually. You could always just wait to cross the finish line until one of your Rivals is pretty much next to you 9. Eliminator: Win your first Elimination event There are 2 in the first Episode, so you shouldn't have to wait too long to unlock this one 10. Eliminator Efficiency (Hidden): Win an Elimination event by being in 1st place at each elimination This one may take some time. As long as you are in 1st each time the clock resets itself, you'll get this one 11. Rope A Dope (Hidden): With 5 seconds or less on the clock, escape from last place and certain elimination The easiest way is to sit in last place while staying right behind the car in front of you. Once the timer hits 5, speed up and pass him or use a Power Play, if one is available, to take him out 12. Power Up: Trigger your first Level 1 Power Play Self-explanatory, just trigger a Level 1 Power Play or any shortcut for this Trophy to unlock 13. I Have The Power: Trigger your first Level 2 Power Play Once again, self-explanatory, just fill all 3 Power Play bars and activate a Level 2 Power Play or Route Change and this Trophy will unlock 14. Follow Me (Hidden): In an event, change the track twice with a Route Changer Power Play There aren't too many places where this one can even be done. Your best chances are the Airport Terminal (3), Dry Docks (3), or Ferry Wharf (2). 15. Cheapskate (Hidden): Use a shortcut that a rival has triggered Just keep someone close behind you on a course that has a shortcut, and if you see it used, just use it yourself for the Trophy 16. Better Luck Next Time (Hidden): Get wrecked by a shortcut that arrival has triggered After any shortcut has been used, there is a few seconds that need to pass before it can be used again. If you see a shortcut closing, just run into it for the Trophy 17. Zero to Hero (Hidden): Use a route changer to go from 8th to 1st place. This one can be tricky because the Power Play has to finish before you are allowed to gain positions. If you can wreck 6-7 rivals, just pass all the remains (or remaining) and the Trophy should pop-up after you take first. The Train and Dam are useful for this Trophy 18. Frequent Flyer (Hidden): In an event, wreck 3 rivals by crash landing a plane This Trophy is only available at the Airport Terminal. You need to have access to the Runway by destroying the Tower. Fill all 3 Power Play bars and hang back until you are in 4th or 5th. You will be prompted to activate after the Gas Station. The plane can only be used once per event. Get 3 wrecks and this trophy will pop-up 19. Swept Away (Hidden): In an event, wreck 3 rivals by destroying a dam This Trophy in only available at the Canyon. Make sure you activate it at the right time; the Dam is a Route Change and there is a Level 2 Power Play that can be activated right before the Dam. It shouldn't be too hard to wreck 3 Rivals as long as there are at least 3 ahead of you 20. The Pain Train (Hidden): In an event, wreck 3 rivals by derailing a train This Trophy is only available at the Expressway. You will only get one chance to activate this Route Change because Races at the Expressway are only 2 laps. This one is activated as you approach the start/finish line. As long as there are 3 or more Rivals ahead of you, you will get this Trophy 21. Shipwrecked (Hidden): In an event, wreck 3 rivals by launching a ship sideways across the track This Trophy is available at either Port Bridge or Dry Docks. If you are at Dry Docks, you will need to use the Route Change near the start/finish line to gain access to the ship. You will only get one chance per event to activate the ship. If you choose Port Bridge, it is possible to gain enough Power to use it on the first lap 22. High Pipe (Hidden): In en event, wreck 3 rivals by demolishing a cooling tower This Trophy is only available at the Power Plant. There are two Cooling Towers that you can use. Build up Power during the first lap and save it until the Towers come into view (About 40-50 seconds in). It is relatively easy to wreck at least 3 rivals using 1 Tower 23. The Time Is Right: Win you first Season Detonator event Detonator events are basically Time Trials. Your first chance is the Bonus Round in Episode 1 24. Keep On Truckin': Win your first Season Survival event You first Survival event is in the "Big Rig Boom" Episode 25. Fearless (Hidden): Overtake 5 trucks in a row during Sudden Death in a Survival event This is best done at Storm Drain Speedway. Hang behind the first truck (but don't pass it, yet) until there are about 2 seconds left on the clock. As time expires, you want to pass the first truck. In Sudden Death, the trucks will only use Red barrels, so it is one and done. 26: On The Run: Win your first Season Air Strike event You first Air Strike event is in Episode 2. Both "Splashdown" and "Big Rig Boom" have an Air Strike event 27. Clear Skies: Win your first Season Air Revenge event Your first Air Revenge event can be found in the "Midway Pass" Episode 28. Once, Twice, Three times Evasive (Hidden): Get three Perfect Waves in a row in either an Air Strike or Air Revenge event Your best chance for getting this is probably the first few waves of an Air Strike event because the first few waves in Air Strike usually have no more 6 missiles in a row. To get a Perfect Wave, you can't be affected by the missiles. 29. Start Me Up: Win an online event Self-explanatory 30. In Good Form: Get an online form of 75 or better To increase your online form, you need to finish in the Top 4. Once you reach or pass 75, you will get the Trophy when you return to the lobby 31. Team BlackRock (Hidden): Beat a member of the development team or someone who has beaten them. This one all depends on how many people you beat during a race. The more people you finish ahead of, the better your chances of getting this. Of course, you could find someone who already has this Trophy and beat them in a Private Match Silver Trophies (13) -------------------- 1. Made The Podium: Complete the Season Championship This Trophy will pop-up once you finish the Elite Race in Episode 12. Where you finish doesn't matter 2. Season Champion: Complete the Season Championship in first place This Trophy will appear after the Elite Race in Episode 12 if you have the most points 3. Leading The Way: Win every Bonus Round Win Event 5 (Always unlocked by wrecking a certain amount of Rivals during the Episode) in all 12 Episodes to earn this Trophy 4. Bully (Hidden): In an event, wreck every rival with a Power Play This doesn't have to be done using one Power Play (although using certain ones it can be done that way) you just have to cause all the other drivers to wreck at least once by way of a Power Play. Switching to the Runway at the Airport Terminal can earn you an Ultimate Wreck as well as this Trophy relatively quickly 5. Heavyweight: Wreck 1000 rivals with Power Plays This combines both offline and online wrecks 6. High Five: Spend a total of five minutes airborne This combines both offline and online air time 7. Great Explorer: Trigger a total of 50 route changer Power Plays This combines both offline and online Route Changes triggered 8. Going The Distance: Drive a total 1,081 miles This combines both offline and online distance driven 9. Beat The Team: Beat 1 minute 7 seconds on Construction Site in Detonator The Elite GT12 is very useful for this event. When you get to the wrecked building, take the path on the right and as long as you don't get knocked around too much, you should be able to get this one. You will probably want to try this one in Quick Play 10. Beat The Team II: The Revenge: Beat 1 minute 18 seconds on Power Plant in Detonator This one is really challenging. I'm guessing Disney has something with making a Silver Trophy near impossible to get (Two Time in Pure). If you find you are too slow in Season, you can always attempt it in Quick Play 11. Convoy (Hidden): Overtake 12 trucks in a row without crashing in a Survival event You will need to be in Quick Play to earn this one because the Season event will all end before you make it to the 12th truck. You will want to choose a car that handles well and that you can keep under control. If you have to enter Sudden Death, you will still be able to earn this Trophy, as long as you don't wreck before passing the 12th 12. Out Of Reach: Get an online form of 25 or better To increase your online form, you need to finish in the Top 4. Once you reach or pass 25, you will get the Trophy when you return to the lobby 13. Giant Killer: Beat an opponent with an online form of 10 or better Just keep trying at this one. Those who have the higher ranks usually use faster cars and are able to stay out of trouble. You can also find someone willing to help you do this in a Private match Gold Trophies (2) ----------------- 1. Perfection: Complete every event and Season Championship in first place Win every event and this Trophy will pop-up during the final scene 2.
