About Me:

Im 18, been playing games since I was 5. I currently own all
the Next Generation consoles. My favorite is PS3. My favorite
game is Final Fantasy 7. I love Beat Em Up type games such as
this. I like helping people, hence the reason I'm writing this
guide. I'm always on the message boards, hell you might recognize
my name. Anyway , this section has gone on too long.

About Heavenly Sword:

Heavenly Sword is a fast paced action game very much like God of War ,
Devil May Cry , Ninja Gaiden ,and Rygar. It has a very cool combo
system coupled with a kick ass Superstyle meter to pull off bone
crushing , gut wrenchin , badass moves. It feels a lot like the God
of War games with the blades that Nariko uses. Basically , this game
is God of War with a female. It DOES feel a lot differant in ways.
For instance , there is no magic but a Superstyle meter that consists
of three levels. There are three fighting stances ( Speed , Range ,
and Power) that when mixed create unparraled elements to the non-stop
action that this game offers. If you like Hack N Slash Beat Em Up's then
Heavenly Sword is for you.

You can reach me at the following:

PSN: Solid_Fantasy ( by far the easiest way too reach me )

AIM: ResidentEvil719 ( another easy way too reach me )

AOL Blob719 ( I rarely sign on )

If you have any questions please ask me, I'm very friendly.
Lastly, just have fun with this intense action beat em up.

4. Combos

Here is how this section works. I will list the stance. Following
that will be the combos of each stance. If there is an X next to the
name of th combo it means that that move is a block breaker. F means
you must be falling from the sky to do the move. L means after you
land hit the following button to complete the combo. Understood?

5. Superstyles

To do a Superstyle you need the required level of Superstyle. Look at
the sundial by your health bar. Each circle represents a Superstyle level.
There are three Superstyle levels and tons of moves I will break this
down a bit diffrently. I will list each level followed by all the moves.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Level 1 Superstyles:

Lovers Embrace / Circle
Lovers Quarrrel / R1+Circle

Level 2 Superstyles

Startled Lover / Circle
Compassion / R1+Circle

Here are some great fighting tips.

Thanks to Malcom90k

Strategies

The standard enemies don't put up much of a defense, and can be dispatched
with simple combos. However, shielded enemies are a bigger problem. As you
will undoubtedly notice, they can block quite a few of your attacks. To rectify
this, perform a guard-breaker combo to open them up to attack. These are
indicated in the combat list, some pretty good examples (under speed style) are
[],[],[],/\
/\,[],/\

Both of these can quickly break down an opponents guard. After performing the
last hit of the combo, you will notice them stagger back. This is your
opportunity to get some hits in, so immediately follow up with another combo.
If at some point you decide to throw an object at an opponent, you can pick
it up with the X button. Press X again to throw it, or hold down X to center
the camera behind the object, at which point you can steer with the Sixaxis.

Combos

Combos are explained in the game simply by accessing the list. However, there
is more here than meets the eye. For instance, if you roll while attacking
(during or right after the attack), and press either [] or /\ (doesn't matter)
as you stand, you will perform a unique attack. To test this, with speed style
simply press [], flick the right analog stick right after pressing it, and ,
press [] or /\ as you stand. There's a separate unique attack for each style.
For speed style, it is a thrusting kick that can knock an opponent a little
into the air. For power style, it is an upward swing of the sword (Nariko will
perform a small hop while doing it), knocking opponents away. For range style,
Nariko will leap and spin the roped-blades around her in a big circle. There
are more opportunities here. You can interject combos with one style, with
an attack from another. There are two attacks than can be performed for each
style. It's easiest to explain this with examples.

(Speed style) [],[],[] (press R1 for power style) []

(Power style) [],[] (release R1 for speed style) []

It doesn't matter how many slashes of a combo precede it, as long as you don't
try to finish a combo, and then press a different style. Further, the attacks
differ depending on what button you press. If you interrupt a combo with R1+[]
(like in the above example) you will finish with with a big horizontal slash
of the sword. If you press R1+/\, Nariko will perform a big under and over
slash with the sword. If you interrupt a power or range style combo with a
speed attack (by releasing R1 or L1), for [], Nariko will leap and perform a
flipping slash with both blades. If you interrupt it with /\, Nariko will
perform a powerful leaping kick. If you interrupt a combo with L1+[], Nariko
will perform the leaping circle spin, like the above rolling attack. If you
interrupt a combo with L1+/\, Nariko will flip sideways and spin the roped
blades in a big vertical circle (this will actually knock enemies into the
air). I'll list a few more examples to give you an idea of the possibilities.

[], L1+/\
L1+[], L1+[] (release L1), /\
R1+/\, R1+/\, L1+/\

Aerial combos

Aerial combos are, to be quite frank, a bit more of a pain in the ass than
I feel they really need to be. To perform one, press L1+/\, then shake the
Sixaxis to leap up into the air with your enemy. From here, you can simply
follow the combo list to perform different attacks. The problem here is the
game has poor auto-targeting, and considering how narrow a vertical swing of
the range blades is, you've really got to be lined up with your opponent to
hit them. On top of that, if you are attacked right after knocking an opponent
into the air (which is almost guaranteed to happen if you haven't singled the
enemy out), shake all you like, you will not pursue the enemy with an aerial
combo. Fortunately, there is a bit more depth here than the game lets on.
On top of simply press L1+/\, as mentioned in the above combo section, you
can interrupt any combo or attack (other than a finisher) and press L1+/\,
and it will knock the opponent into the air. This means you can start an
aerial combo any time during a ground combo, other than a range combo. For
example:

(speed style) [], [], [], L1+/\, *shake Sixaxis*, perform aerial combo of your
choice. (power style) R1+[], R1+[], L1+/\, *shake Sixaxis*, perform aerial
comboof your choice.

Defense (continued)

It seems Nariko has another defensive move in her repertoire, one that is more
counteractive than defensive. While Nariko will auto-block attacks, if you are
in the midst of a combo, or are hit with a guard-breaking attack (without
blocking with Power stance), you may get knocked into the air. If this happens
, quickly shake the Sixaxis. Nariko will use her chained-range blades to grab
hold the enemy, using the leverage to both catch herself and spin the enemy
around, leaving them dazed. This is especially useful on enemies with shields
, as it leaves them vulnerable to a follow up combo. Honestly, this is easier
to pull off if you turn off the Sixaxis (aftershock) controls, if you do so,
you need merely press X when knocked into the air to perform the counter.

Combos (continued)

Stumbled upon this almost entirely by accident. Nariko has a distance/direction
-based move that is used to quickly close the distance (and deal damage) to an
enemy. To perform it, there has to be a certain amount of room between you and
the enemy (just out of striking range of the speed style blades should do it).
Then you must flick the analog stick towards the enemy, and press either [] or
/\. The move is different depending on what you press, and the style you use.
Interestingly enough, there is no "distance-closing" move for the range blades
, only speed and power style, so there are 4 distance-closing moves total.
They are:

(Speed style) Flick analog stick towards enemy+[]
Nariko will spin around, quickly closing the distance between herself and the
enemy before ending with a slash.

(Speed style) Flick analog stick towards enemy+/\
Nariko will leap towards the enemy, flipping quickly through the air before
landing and slashing with the blade.

(Power style) Flick analog stick towards enemy+R1+[]
Nariko will turn around and flip over backwards, planting the sword in the
ground as leverage, and using the momentum to deliver a powerful slash.
(this one looks really cool)

(Power style) Flick analog stick towards enemy+R1+/\
Nariko will make a big, dramatic leap into the air before performing wide-
landing sweep of the blade (also quite cool)

The nice thing about these is that they cancel quickly, you can follow them
immediately with a combo of any style, and you can even interrupt combos by
flicking the analog stick towards a different enemy (example: [],[], flick
analog stick towards enemy standing behind Nariko+[]). If you just want to see
them, at the end of the demo, before the axe-men appear, go stand at the big
doors, and flick the analog stick towards them while pressing [] or /\. Nariko
seems to detect the enemies behind the door, and thus will perform the moves
at your leisure.

6. Unlockables

Throughout each mission a bar will slowly fill up on the bottom of the screen.
The more combos you pull off without getting hit , the quicker the bar will
fill up. Each time you fill the bar up 1/3 of the way you will unlock either
artwork, combos , or videos. Superstyle moves , countering , blocking and
throwing objects are great ways too fill this bar up. There are 3 unlockables
per mission. A great way too build the bar up is by launching a dead body at
all the remaining enemies. I do this a lot.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

5. Walkthrough

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Oh hell yeah, this is what your lookin for. Enough of the bullshit , it's
time to crack some skulls... err , mash some buttons. Whatever you get the
damn idea. So without further a do , I present to you , the GREATEST guide
ever written and viewed * Gets smacked *

You : Tell me how to beat the damn game
Me : Oh , sorry

Here we go

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Demo Mission

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

As your watching the opening scene it is hard not to be mezmerized by Nariko
, I mean the graphics , yeah the graphics. Apparently Nariko wants revenge
so let's go bring justice. When you get control I highly reccomend pushing
buttons and trying out combos and all that good stuff so you have an idea
of how the game plays before you jump into action. I like the power stance
mixed in with a bit of range. I don't like speed very much. Anyway , whenever
you are ready go around to your left to the rope and hit Cross for a ...

                       --- Button Sequence ---

If you've played the God of War games , Resident Evil 4 , and Spiderman 3
, you should be very skilled with these. For those that don't know what in Gods
name i'm talking about , listen up. A button Sequence is a way of testing your
reflexes. A button will come on the screen and you must quickly react and
enter the desired button. I will list all the button sequences. Here it goes.

                         Repeatedly Tap Cross
                         Left Joystick Right
                         Repeatedly Tap Cross
                         Left Joystick Left
                         Repeatedly Tap Cross
                         Square

Explanation:

1. Nariko will run extremely fast on the rope that the guards are destroying
2. She will jump left and right between the two ropes )
3. She finishes it off by kicking the guard on her way down too the platform
from the now destroyed rope.

                      --- End Button Sequence ---

Now that's how you knock someone out. Anyway it's time for your first fight.
It's pretty easy , just practice mashing Square+R1 mixed in with sprinkles
of Range. Power them away , then Range them with Triangle X5. It's up to you
if you want to try out Superstyle here. If your low on health ( if you are I
will smack you ) then use Superstyle. Once they are all dead cut the rope for a

                       --- Button Sequnce ---

                         Repeatedly Tap Cross

1. Nariko will run and jump off the collapsing platform to the next enemy
infested platform.

                       --- End Button Sequence ---

More fighting , get used to it. Here is a good chance to try out a kick ass
level 3 Superstyle move. This is also a good chance to practice throwing
objects at the enemies. See the controls section for more information on this.
I honestly don't see the point though. The attacks seem rather weak and boring.
Just hack and slash some more. Once everyone is dead some big dudes will bust
in and ...............

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The Final Battle : Difficulty : 0/10

This is the most epic start to a game I have ever seen in my entire life.
There is literally about 1000 enemies on the screen. Just go nuts. If this
isn't even the full potential of the PS3 then we are in for one hell of a
system. Anyway , just fight til a scene occurs. It is impossible to die.
You can do some awesome shit here. Press Circle whenever you are prompted too.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Before we start Chapter 1 I want to list a few tips and the Longsword controls.

1. I encourage you too turn off ALL the SIXAXIS controls. They honestly just
complicate some parts of the game. Do this in the options menu.

2. Square , Triangle ,remember it, it's your only blockbreaker combo.

3. You don't have the Heavenly Sword yet. Be patient.

4. Longsword Combos

If there is an X next to the name of th combo it means that that move is a
block breaker. F means you must be falling from the sky to do the move. L
means after you land hit the following button to complete the combo.

Somersault Kick Square X3
Reverse Slash Square Square Triangle
Ten Footed Kick X Square Triangle
Crescent Kick Triangle X3
Spiral Blade Triangle Square Triangle

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Chapter 1:

1. The Art of Battle : Difficulty : .5/10

After the flashbacks you will be quickly be thrown into battle. Go around
to the ladder and use Cross to climb it. Make your way to the battlefield.
Practice the Ten Footed kick, it is easily your best move. Follow it up with
your choice of combo. This is basically a tutorial level. It is very easy. The
enemies barely attack.

3 Glyph Tips: Counter attack a lot

2. Nightwatch : Difficulty : W/ SIXAXIS 5/10 , W/out SIXAXIS 3/10

This is your first level as Kai and your first Aftertouch level. This will
be a major pain in the ass if you have SIXAXIS controls on. It is still a
pain in the ass without SIXAXIS. Basically , you have to stop the enemies
from breaking into the fort by shooting them down. Use Aftertouch by holding
down Square. This will simplify things. Your main goal is just too survive.
I believe there are 25 guards. They start from the north, then northwest ,
hen southwest , southeast , and finally from every direction. Don't worry if
you miss some, you will finish off the ones that infiltrated with Nariko.

3 Glyph Tips: This is pretty hard. There is a Heavenly Pot that you can shoot.
Remember Heavenly Pots fill up your health bar and boosts your combo meter
tremendously. With that in mind , Kill the first 4 guards from the north.
Now when they start coming from the northwest like crazy is where you rack
up a combo. Keep getting consecutive headshots and when your combo is at
about 60 , shoot the pot. This will give a huge boost. Finish off the rest
with Nariko , there is a Heavenly Pot here as well.

3. Dawn Siege : Difficulty : W/ SIXAXIS 4/10 W/out SIXAXIS 2/10

Once the level starts go up the ladder on the left side. You can go up the
damn ladder quick as hell and this dumbass guy will still rush you. Anyway
climb up the next ladder. Holy shit , you get to use a cannon. I was not
expecting that. The control scheme is the same as Kai's level. You have to
kill the other cannons first. You will see 3 orange circles. Use aftertouch
and hit each one. After hitting all 3 you will notice another orange spot.
Destroy this one to completely destroy the cannon. There are 4 cannns. Destroy
all of them. You have a genourous 3 minute time limit. Now you will have the
task of killing 700 enemies with this badass cannon. It is simple. Aim at
the top for about 150 kills. When there are about 2 minutes aim at the bottom.
Holy shit , they are bringing the heat. Just mash the shit out of Square and
you will get about 500 kills in 1 minute. Told you it was easy.

3 Glyph Tips: see above

4.Escape : Difficulty: 1/10

Follow the snow path taking out the guards. There are only about 3 waves and
none of the enemies are hard yet. They don't really even block yet. Just go
crazy. You will be introduced too health pots in this mission. If you can't
figure out what they do please just smack yourself and pretend I did it.
Continue forward and

3 Glyph Tips: Counter attack a lot

5.Forest Ambush : Difficulty : 2/10

What a way to kick off a level. An ambush of jackasses. This isn't hard at all.
Use the Ten Footed Kick to break blocks and follow up with your combo of choice.
Eventually you will come across what looks like a steering wheel for boats. Mash
Cross by it to open up the near by gate. Kick some more ass and you will come
across your first

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Puzzle :

After the mini-scene with possibly the biggest idiot in the history of games
, you will have to find a way too open the gate. My dog can probably figure
this out , but I will explain it anyway. On the left side is a box of arrows
, pick one up and nail the guard for being a fucking dumbass. Pick another
arrow up and nail the gong this time. Attention Ninja Theory: HARDER PUZZLES
please.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Continue for a scene

3 Glyph Tips: Counter attack a ton

6. The Heavenly Sword : Difficulty : 2/10

Hell yeah , we got the baddest sword on the damn planet. There isn't much
to explain here. Do whatever the tutorial tells you to do. This game is like
an interactive movie at times. I love it. After this mission you will see that
King Bohan is a major kick ass villian.

3 Glyph Tips: It can be done with Square x4. I didn't know about the pot until
I actually got three glyphs, so keep it mind. On the first 2, or 4 if you count
when a group comes right after another, waves of enemies just hit the combo
mentioned above and if an enemy starts charging roll out of the way no matter
where you are in the combo. I got 2 glyphs before the guys with the shields
showed. After the guys with the shields show up you want to switch to the
Power Stance and use the Square x3 combo. You'll know the last group when
you're facing off against shielded and non-shielded foes. Concentrate best
you can on keeping a combo up on the guys without shields and doge incoming
attacks. If you haven't done so already, when you've got a nice combo string
going break the red pot.

This is the level from the demo. Go around to the left and hit Cross by the
rope for a

                          --- Button Sequence ---

If you've played the God of War games , Resident Evil 4 , and Spiderman 3
, you should be very skilled with these. For those that don't know what in Gods
name i'm talking about , listen up. A button Sequence is a way of testing your
reflexes. A button will come on the screen and you must quickly react and
enter the desired button. I will list all the button sequences. Here it goes.

                         Left Joystick Right

                         Repeatedly Tap Cross
                         Square

                           --- End Button Sequence ---

Kick some ass. You may need to use some block breakers for the shielded guys.
Practice some of your combos here.

3 Glyph Tips: Mix it up between stances a lot. as usual counter attacks.

2. No Turning Back: Difficulty: 4/10

                        --- Button Sequnce ---

                         Repeatedly Tap Cross

                       --- End Button Sequence ---

Here we go. You can mix it up a lot here. Throw shit at enemies and more.
Hell, launch some bodies at the guards. Use the Heavenly Pot when you
have a huge combo. Eventually some big dudes will bust in and make the fight
tougher. You must use block breakers on them. Once they are dead go through
the door. Tap Cross by the wheel to open the gate

3 Glyph Tips: See above and mix it up a lot

3. Fire Fight : Difficulty: 1/10

LISTEN CAREFULLY , To get 3 glyphs for this level is absolutely easy. They
are shooting arrows at you. Counter them with L1 Range attacks. Don't stop
until you have all 3 glyphs. I mean it. Then whoop everybodys ass. There is
a health pot at the end of the level.

Don't stop until you have all 3 glyphs.

4. Beware the Fox : Difficulty : 3/10

Flying Fox is by far one of the coolest bosses ever. First you have to take
out his minions. Save the Pots for the actual boss fight. I never needed them
but just in case you need them , SAVE THEM. There are 3 waves of enemies. The
first 2 waves are easy while the 3rd requires you too bust out the block
breakers. Throw stuff and more. Power attack the whole 3rd wave. Once they
are dead , you have your first BOSS FIGHT

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Boss 1: Flying Fox: Difficulty: Easy

He is very predictable. He can teleport if you are far away. Most of his
attacks can be blocked in the Speed Stance but he does have one red attack
that you must roll out of the way for. He is pretty quick. Once the battle
starts run up to him and pull off a Power combo. This should take away about
25% of his health. Stay on the defensive and after his combo get in another
Power combo. Repeat this until his health bar is about empty and you will see
a Circle on your screen. Hit Circle for a

5. Prison Approach: Difficuly : 2/10

Go forward , down the stairs and too the right. Take out all the enemies
and continue onward fighting. You will come to the prison but as usual there
is a catch. Always a catch. This particular catch is a

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Puzzle

Go up the ladder and grab one of the shields. Aftertouch guide it into the
gong. It is tricky. I reccomend going to the edge of the walkway and then
throw it. Guide it north and east at the last second into the gong. Yay!

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Head into the prison. Ironic considering the 1000's of people you killed thus
far.

3 Glyph Tips: Easy , counter attack and mix styles.

6. The Prison: Difficulty : 4/10

Damnit its a trap. I should have known. Anyway the only frustrating part
about this is the fact that these bastards require block breakers. ALL OF EM'.
Try and Power your way getting the Pots when you have a high combo going.
Eventually you will kill them all. Watch possibly the greatest cutscene of
this generation. After that it's PUZZLE TIME

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Puzzle

Tap Cross by glowing area to pull the ladder down. Climb the ladder and tap
Cross by the lever to free some clansmen. Continue around and go into the
first jail cell. Grab a shield and backtarack a ways to a fork. Go left to
the end of the short bridge and Aftertouch guide your shield across into the
famous gong. Now go around further and you will come across a box of shields
and you have too Aftertouch guide it into the gong. Now you can go all the
way around and raise the final lever.

3 Glyph Tips: Any Suggestions

7. The Main Gate: Difficulty: 3/10

Go forward and holy shit its a rocket launcher. Build up a massive combo
and break the health pot. When you run out of rockets finish them off in
style. Onward and you will shockingly find the main gate. What a clever level
name. On the right side hit cross for a

Take out the jackasses so you can think. Power stance helps a lot by the way.
Smash the gong repeatedly with any stance to raise the gate. Inside this
gate is a lever. Pull it and take a shield. IGNORE this gong. This is like
thoses math problems that give you extra crap. Stand facing the shield box
and Aftertouch guide it ALL THE WAY across to the gong. It's hard , trust me.
Tap Cross and hit whatever button prompted. It doesn't matter if you mess up.
Tap Cross on the left side glowing area for a

Kill the gurads and go through the gate.

3 Glyph Tips: Go forward and holy shit its a rocket launcher. Build up a
massive combo and break the health pot. When you run out of rockets finish
them off in style.

8. Bait and Trap: Difficulty: 3/10

This is honestly very easy. There are tons of enemies but most of them don't
even block. Just wail away with counterattacks and superstyles. Around here
I unlocked level 3 superstyles.

3 Glyph Tips: just wail away with counterattacks and superstyles.

9. Whiptail: Difficulty: 5/10

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Boss 2: Whiptail: Medium

This battle is extremly easy if you know the trick. L1+Square block huge waves
and L1+Triangle block small waves. Constantly do this until you have 3 glyphs.
Now for fighting her , let me just say don't go gung ho. You will get mutilated
and have to start over. After her wave attack sequence she will be stunned.
Close the gap and attack with either a Power combo or Aerial attack. Run away
until she starts up the wave attack sequence. Keep repeating this process
and eventually the Circle prompt will appear. There is no button sequence
but there is a ROUND 2. The same strategy applies. This time if you stand
still she will grab you , but if you hit Circle at the right time you can
counter for damage. She is quicker and more violent with longer combos. There
are Pots hidden underwater on each side. I only needed one. Anyway if you
have the health try and fight her head on. This time when you press Circle
there is a mini-button sequence where you have to hit Circle once.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

3 Glyph Tips: L1+Square block huge waves and L1+Triangle block small waves.
Constantly do this until you have 3 glyphs.

10. Shen's Escape: Difficulty: 2/10

Another Kai mission. It is real easy if you use aftertouch. The guards are
pretty slow. There are 2 on the left platform. They come from the bottom
of the screen for a while , then the top. There are about 30 in all.

3 Glyph Tips: This one is easy. There is a Heavenly Pot that you can shoot.
Remember Heavenly Pots fill up your health bar and boosts your combo meter
tremendously. With that in mind , rack up a combo and shoot the Pot.

11. Eye of the Storm: Difficult: 5/10

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Boss 3: Whiptail: Medium

This bitch wants more. The strategy is the same.
This time the mini-button
sequence is Square. Bye Bye BITCH!!

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

3 Glyph Tips: L1+Square block huge waves and L1+Triangle block small waves.
Constantly do this until you have 3 glyphs.

CHAPTER 2 COMPLETE!!!

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Chapter 3

1.Kai's Mission: Difficulty: 3/10

Your going to be playing as Kai for most of this chapter so get used to it.

I will list Kai's controls:

Stun Square
Vault Cross
Aim L1
Shoot L1+Square

That's all you need. Go to the end of the bridge and pick off the 2 guards.
A lot more will soon follow. Stay back and shoot from a distance. Obviously
use aftertouch. The further away the better. Open up the gate at the end.
Shoot an arrow THROUGH the fire into the barrel. Brings back Ocarina of Time
memories. Those were the days.

3 Glyph Tips: Stay back and rack up a combo, don't miss and shoot the health
pot with a high combo going.

2. Play Time: Difficulty: 6/10

This area has you so cramped that you can't even focus. It is hard. Try and
make your way all the way around too the long ass tunnel. You can get far away
and string together a big combo. Just go through the gate to end the level.

3 Glyph Tips: Make your way all the way around too the long tunnel. You can get
far away and string together a big combo.

3. Shooting Fish: Dificulty: 4/10

This level is unique. Basically , the guards are coming at you and opening
up the gates. Pick them off one by one. I know , easier said than done.
There are about 4 waves of enemies. You will be introduced to guards
that require a headshot. Start your crosshair at about heart level and
aftertouch aim it up to their head. I hope that helps.

3 Glyph Tips: You have distance, it all comes down to accuracy. There are
2 health pots.

4. Duck and Cover

Lot of ladders in this level. Anyway i'm not sure but I think the enemies
always respawn. Meaning 3 glyphs should be easy. There is a health pot on
the ledge above you from the starting point. As usual with Kai , accuracy
is your key. Make your way up all the ladders when you have everything
cleared out and under control. Inside the gate is Nariko.

3 Glyph Tips: i'm not sur but I think the enemies
always respawn. Meaning 3 glyphs should be easy. There is a health pot on
the ledge above you from the starting point. As usual with Kai , accuracy
is your key.

5. Twing Twang

Ride the fancy cart up and get ready for one hell of a firefight. I honestly
don't know what to say. It's just a forward process of sniping and fighting.
There are enemies everywhere. I just stayed back, picked off who I could and
slowly creeped forward while killing. Try take out the guys up top.

3 Glyph Tips: Any Suggestions?

6. Brother against Brother: Difficulty: 2/10

You are fighting your own clansmen. Bohan is sick and twisted. You could
just be ruthless and kill them all but that would be cruel. I reccomend
Countering them and pressing Circle or Square( whichever one pops up). This
will paralyze them. It also gives a huge boost to your glyph meter.

3 Glyph Tips: I reccomend Countering them and pressing Circle or Square
( whichever one pops up).

7. Fireworks: Difficulty: 5/10

Hit Cross by the flashing area. Kai is pretty athletic. Run around until
you find a gate. A scene will occur. A hilarious scene by the way. The
headshot guards will bust in. Rack up a huge headshot combo here for 3 glyphs.
Take your time and kill them all. Now somewhere in this circular room is a
pathway leading into an outside are with a single room that is locked off.
There will be a short scene once you find the right area. Once you do find it
it will be puzzle time.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Puzzle

Go back into the circular room , hit Cross by the glowing part. Back at the
beginning of the level now is where you should be. Shoot an arrow through
the fire , through the hallway , into the little hole in the door into the
barrel. Yes I meant that. It is actually easy.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Go back to the blown up door and watch the a funny scene.

3 Glyph Tips: Run around and create distance. Try and get the enemies all lined
up. Rack up a huge headshot combo here for 3 glyphs. Take your time and kill
them all.

8. A New Threat: Difficulty: 1/10

Why this is even a level is beyond me. Why I'm even typing this level up is
a mystery within itself. Just counter attack this measly foe.

3 Glyph Tips: DON'T ASK

9. Riding High; Difficulty: 7/10

Get in your stylish ride. Turn around and pick off the first 4 guards. Focus
on the bridge as a bunch will come this way. Once they are done there will
be guards up top on the northwesr platform. Take care of them and take out
the northeast guards. Watch a mini-scene and you will be UPSIDE FUCKING down
with the perfect vantage point to take out the remaining guards. Inside
the armory continue to the end of the room for a

10. Roach's Pets: Difficulty: 6/10

Yikes! You have to fight a bunch of these guys now. Get away from the health
pot so you don't accidentally use it. You'll want it saved. Just keep counter
attacking and use the health pot when needed.

3 Glyph Tips: Counter attacks galore

11. Rolling Thunder: Difficulty: 5/10

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Boss 4: Roach: Medium

This is kind of hard. Do you see those big black platforms? When Roach
does a roll attack(Red) get by one of these things and Roach will run into
it doing a lot of damage too himself. When he is not rolling you must roll
a lot. He is slow so try and Power combo him a lot. Hit Circle when prompted.
You will have to lure him to the middle of the room and wait for him to unleash
his ultimate attack. It is a red attack. Wait for him to get stuck, then hit O.
the button sequence is just Square. As usual there is a round 2. Here we go.
ROUND 2! Same old strategy here. Use the health pot when your health gets low.
Try and get him to roll because when he crashes into those things it does
a lot of damage. When his health bar empties hit Circle when he gets his chains
stuck. Roach is pissed now. Get ready for round 3, also the final round.
ROUND 3! Health pots are sometimes th rown toward you here. Just grind it out.
Roach is more violent and attacks more frquently. So roll a lot more. Once
his health bar is depleted lure him to the middle of the room and wait for
him to unleash his ultimate attack. It is a red attack. Wait for him to get
stuck, then hit O.

CHAPTER 3 COMPLETE!!!

Chapter 4

1. Cat and Mouse: Difficult: 3/10

You will have to fight some of those headshot guys. Stay in the power stance
and counter when you can. When they are all dead a new enemy will make an
appearance. They look like nobodies from Kingdom Hearts 2. For fighting them,
stay in the speed stance and counter when you can. You will have to press
either triangle or square to finish one off. Open the gate.

2. On Silent Wings: Difficulty: 3/10

More ninjas and big guys. Take then out and you will reaach

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Puzzle

Raise up the statue by tapping Cross. Grab a shield from the box and Aftertouch
guide it into the statue and into the gong.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

3. Hunting Party: Difficulty: 5/10

You will have a lot to deal with here. Ninjas, Beasts, Guards and Archers.
You've sen it all before though so you should be fine. Counter and stay in
the Power stance. Climb up the ladders.

4. Beasts of the Land: Difficulty: 7/10

This is hellahard. You have to fight ONS of Roach's pets. It is a huge open
area so us that too your advantage. When your surrounded , just try and counter
them. Pic a dead one up and launch it into a bunch of them to take out a few.
There are 2 easyto locate health pots. Good luck.

5. Wrong Way: Difficulty:2/10

Take out the bridge guards any way you want. They are that easy. Now you will
have Archers to deal with. L1+triangle blocks their shots and boosts up the
combo meter. Take them out however you wish. Tap Cross to open the gate, now
pick up a body and Aftertouch guide it into the gong.

6. Temple Wilds: Difficulty: 3/10

7. To Kill A Fox: Difficulty: 7/10

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Boss 5: Flying Fox: Medium

First of all let me say" FUCK YOU MOTHERFUCKER" How could he? That's it, lets
kill this son of a bitch. He will hang up high and shoot stuff at you. LISTEN
CAREFULLY, I see questions everyday about this. If it's blue JUST hit triangle
AT THE POINT OF IMPACT. if it's orange hold R1 and press Triangle AT THE POINT
OF IMPACT. You can also Aftertouch guide them into those health pots. When he
is on the ground roll and Power combo him. Try and save the ground health pot
for round 2. Anyway, on round 2, he will c reate copies of himsels once his bar
gets down to a certain segment. Speed attack them and roll a lot. Round 3 is
just an all out clone war. Use the above strategy. Once all forms are dead
HOLY SHIT , i'm not spoiling it but this part is awesome.

Chapter 5

1. Bohan's Army: Difficulty:3/10

This just a simple cannon mission. Hit the orange parts, destroy the cannons.
Not much to say here, it's pretty simple.

2. Death from Above: Difficulty:3/10

This is fun. It's basically a battle against Ninjas with Shen. Counter them
, kill them and follow Shen. There is a health pot.

3. War Machine: Difficulty: FUN/10

This mission is seriously incredible no matter how many times you play it.
Pick up the missile launcher and kill as many as you can. Then run into the
masses and just unload R1+Circle level 3 whenever you get the chance. Don't
stop mashing buttons. Once you kill the required amount you have to take out
the cannons ON FOOT. Run up to the cannon and hit Cross by the glowing part.

Chapter 6

1. Goddess Difficulty N/A/10

You are invincible. Just mash buttons.

Note: I'm combining the last 3 levels because it is just one long boss fight.

The Final Battle: Difficulty: 9/10

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Boss 6: The Raven King: Difficulty: Medium

Note: This strategy works for ALL 3 forms.

He will hang up high and shoot stuff at you. I am only saying this ONCE. LISTEN
CAREFULLY, I see questions everyday about this. If it's blue JUST hit triangle
AT THE POINT OF IMPACT. if it's orange hold R1 and press Triangle AT THE POINT
OF IMPACT. I CAN'T STRESS THAT ENOUGH. Now for fighting him , DO NOT use the
heavenly sword. Use the Speed stance. Roll and mash triangle. rinse and repeat.
It isn't as hard as people say it is. For the first form press Circle when his
bar is drained. Same for form 2. For form 3 he will have mini sequences. 1st
mini is Square, second is triangle. Now for the greates button sequence EVER.

                              --- Button Sequence ---

                                  Square
                                  Circle
                                  Triangle

                              --- Button Sequence ---
