Grand Theft Auto 4 Weapons This is my walkthrough for the weapons of Grand Theft Auto 4. _____________________________________________________ Fists Basis: N/A The weapon you'll always have. You can throw left and right punches, upercuts, jabs, ground punches, kicks counter attacks, and even disarm enemys. They don't do much damage but you'll gain weapons quickly when you progress through the game. _________________________________________________________ Bat Basis: Regular baseball bat Damage (per hit): 1 Range: 1.6 The bat does more damage then bare fists but is useless when your target is armed with a firearm of knife. Sometimes one-hit kills. __________________________________________________________ Knife Basis: Just a combat knife. Nothing special Damage (per hit): 5 Range: 1.6 The knife is easy to use and does alot of damage. When you are attacking someone they can't hit you back. Just don't get caught with someone yeilding a firearm. _____________________________________________________________ Pistol Basis: Glock 17 Range: 50 Magazine Capacity: 17 Damage (per bullet): 25 Acuraccy: decent Reload Time: 2 seconds Rate of Fire: 3 rounds/second The pistol has an illegal magazine size but with its 3 round/second rate of fire it is deadly against an unarmed thug. Many people carry it. Just don't get caught up with a perp with a shotgun or assault rifle. __________________________________________________________________ Combat Pistol Basis: Desert Eagal Range: 50 Magazine Capacity: 9 Damage (per bullet): 40 Accuracy: decent Reload: 2 seconds Rate of Fire: 3 rounds/second The Combat Pistol has most of the abilitys as the standard pistol but it does more damage and has a smaller magazine. Not to many people carry the Combat Pistol. It is the most deadly pistol. ______________________________________________________________________ Micro-SMG Basis: Micro-Uzi Range: 50 Magazine Capacity: 50 Damage (per bullet): 20 Accuracy: decent in bursts but poor when in full auto Reload: 2.2 seconds Rate of Fire: 15 rounds/second This common SMG is used for drive-by shootings and has the largest magazine in the game. _______________________________________________________________________ SMG Basis: SW MP-10 Range: 60 Magzine Capacity: 30 Damage (per bullet): 20 Accuracy: good Reload: 1.7 seconds Rate of Fire: 15 rounds/second This SMG is un-common because it was made in small numbers. It closley resembles an MP-5 without the stock. _____________________________________________________________________________ Pump Shotgun Basis: Winchester 1300 (Spas 12) Range: 35 Holding Chamber Capacity: 8 Damage (per shell): 20 (may vary) Accuracy: poor Reload: 2.9 seconds Rate of Fire: 0.8 rounds/second This shotgun has a very slow rate of fire. It must be pumped after each shot as well. __________________________________________________________________________________ Combat Shotgun Basis: Beretta 1201 (Remington 870) Range: 40 Holding Chamber Capacity: 10 Damage (per shell): 10 (may vary) Accuracy: poor Reload: 2.9 seconds Rate of Fire: 2 rounds/second This is a great gun it fires at a semi-auto mode but it does less damage the the standard shotgun. Not to many people carry these. ________________________________________________________________________________________ Assualt Rifle Basis: AK-47 Range: 65 Magazine Capacity: 30 Damage (per bullet): 30 Accuracy: decent Reload: 2.1 seconds Rate of Fire: 7.5 rounds/second 60 years later and the AK-47 is still the most prefered weapon in the world. Its accuarcy is off because of its large bullet release. It contains 7.42mm bullets ___________________________________________________________________________________________ Carbine Rifle Basis: M4 Carbine Range: 70 Magazine Capacity: 30 Damage (per bullet): 30 Accuarcy: good Reload: 2.1 seconds Rate of Fire: 7.5 bullets/seconds Easy to use M4 without the carry handle. It contains 5.56mm bullets but it does the same amount of damage as the AK-47. ___________________________________________________________________________________________ Sniper Rifle Basis: M40A1 Range: 15K Magazine Capacity: 5 Damage (per bullet): 75 Accuracy: great Reload: 1.3 seconds Rate of Fire: 2 rounds/second This sniper rifle has an external magazine that holds 10 bullets but the game only has 5. _____________________________________________________________________________________________ Combat Sniper Basis: PSG-1 Range: 1.5K Magazine Capacity: 10 Damage (per bullet): 75 Accuracy: great Reload: 2.1 seconds Rate of Fire: 3 rounds/second This over-priced peice of German steel has a faster fire rate due to its non-bolt action. ___________________________________________________________________________________________ RPG Basis: RPG-7 Range: 100 Capacity: 1 Damage (per rocket): explosive Accuracy: decent Reload: 2.1 seconds Rate of Fire: N/A Famous due to its use in the Soviet Union. One rocket before a reload. Slow but powerful. _________________________________________________________________________________________ Molotov Basis: The one and only Molotov cocktail Range: 35 Damage (per bottle): fire Easy to use and make. It's a poor mans grenade. _____________________________________________________________________________________________ Genade Basis: Mk 2 grenade Range: 35 Damage (per grenade): explosive
