This guide is very long. If you need to find something quickly use the find
function on your computer (Ctrl+F on Windows and most other PC’s and Apple+F
on Macs) and type in the code that has what you are looking for and scroll
through. I will add hints of my own and hints other people have sent it to
help you rule Paradise quicker

BP1B. Licenses
==============
As you progress through the game, your license will be upgraded after a
certain amount of wins. Once your license gets upgraded, any events you have
won will be reset. The only events that won’t reset are Burning Routes. You
also complete an offline challenge whenever your license gets upgraded.

Learners Permit: Start with
D License: Win 2 events
C License: Win 7 events, bringing your total to 9
B License: Win 15 events, bringing your total to 24
A License: Win 26 events, bringing your total to 50
Burnout License: Win 40 events, bringing your total to 90
Elite License: Win all remaining events, brining your total from 183 to 210.
This number varies depending on how many Burning Routes you have won prior to
earning your Burnout License. If you have completed all 27 available, your
total will be 183. If you haven’t done any, your total will be 210. However,
if you repeat any completed events, your total will be higher. The totals
listed are assuming that you don’t repeat events on the same license.

The Bike license progresses a little differently. There are only two licenses.
If you already had an Elite license, whenever you complete an event you will
see the Rider license but you will see the Learners license at the pause menu
until you have completed all the events.

Learner Bike License: Start with
Rider License: Complete all Bike events

The Big Surf Island license is a percentage progression license. As you do
more around the Island, your percentage will increase. Finding all Smashes,
Billboards and Mega Jumps count towards 25% of the license. Completing the 10
Freeburn Challenges will earn you another 25%.

BP1D. Mechanics
===============
I added this section to help you understand a bit more about some of the
maneuvers in the game

E-brake turns
-------------
If you need to turn around quickly, like you saw a car you need to shutdown
heading the other way, just hit the square button, the longer you hold it, the
harder you turn. If you crash while e-braking and e-brake once you respawn,
you can possibly get a high e-brake turn.

Flat Spin
---------
Some challenges require that you Flat Spin off a ramp. To do this, drive up to
any ramp. Before you hit the end of it, hit square to start e-braking and you
will Flat Spin off the ramp. If you hit something at the right time before
leaving the ground, it can send you spinning wildly allowing you to rack up a
high Flat Spin. The jump over Rockridge Dam and the Quarry are popular places
for a high Flat Spin

Barrel Roll
-----------
Some challenges require you to Barrel Roll off a ramp. The easiest ramps to do
this off of are split ramps. Line up your car so that half goes off a raised
side and the other stays on flat ground. In reality, you can Barrel Roll off
of any ramp by having half of your car go up the ramp, but some aren’t high
enough that if you go up them by accident, you’ll be able to survive. Read
Lane and the Quarry are popular places for Barrel Rolls. The first Barrel Roll
will automatically straighten itself but you can still go for more by moving
the stick the right way

Barrel Roll and Flat Spin
-------------------------
If you want to have fun, you can Barrel Roll and Flat Spin at the same time,
which Atomika will call a “Rodeo Jump” at random times. To do this, you need
to e-brake off a split ramp. Line up your car so that while you are e-braking,
part of your car goes off the raised part of the ramp. Rockridge Dam and the
Quarry are good places if you are trying to get a Double Barrel Roll while
Flat Spinning.

Power Parking
-------------
There are a few challenges in Paradise that require that you Power Park your
car and score high enough. To Power Park, you must e-brake your car and fit it
in between two parked cars that are close enough. You score higher if: you
don’t touch one of the cars (If you do, their alarms will go off), keep your
car between the white line and sidewalk, and how straight your car is. A good
place to practice is along Chubb Lane, a little north of the Gas Station.
There are 3 buses parked off to the west side of the street with enough
between them for you to practice. Also the fence is farther back than normal
so you have more room. This is an easy place to score highly

==================
BP2. Paradise Cars
==================
There are six types of boost: Aggression, Stunt, Speed, Switchable, None and
Locked. Aggression cars have the biggest boost bar. It can go up to x3. These
cars gain boost by driving aggressively (Takedown, Traffic Check). Stunt cars
have the second biggest boost bar. It is the size of a x2 bar but doesn’t say
it. These cars gain boost by doing stunts (Barrel Roll, Flat Spin). Speed cars
have the smallest boost bar, about half the size of a Stunt car’s Boost bar.
You can only use Boost when the bar is full. They are the only cars that can
get Boost Chains. To chain Burnouts together, you need to refill the boost bar
by: driving through a Gas Station, driving in oncoming, or doing stunts. I
wouldn’t recommend doing things that would get an Aggression car boost because
most Speed cars are relatively weak. The only car with Locked boost is the
Extreme Hot Rod. The boost bar is blue and is the same size as a Speed boost
bar. Once you begin to use boost, the only way to stop is to hit something or
slow to a stop. The only cars that currently don’t have any boost bars are the
Rai-Jin Turbo and the Olympus. When inputting sponsor codes, go to the Under
The Hood menu and select Sponsor Product Code. To find the sponsor code menu,
you have to have Version 1.5 or earlier since the 1.6 update got rid of the
option. All codes are case sensitive meaning if it is uppercase, you have to
put in an uppercase letter. Also all codes use zero . You also need
to use spaces if any are needed. If you download the game from the Playstation
store, you won’t be able to obtain any of the Sponsor cars. Cars are listed in
the order they would appear in the Junkyard. All stats max out at 10. When you
earn your Elite license, you can paint your cars Gold. Once you achieve 101%
on your car license, you can paint your cars Platinum. Scroll across finishes
to select either. You now have the choice of whether you want to drive a car
or ride a bike before you see the vehicles. At the same time the Legendary
Cars were released, a pack called Time Savers was released. For $4.99 US or
400 MS you can instantly unlock all cars and bikes, but you will still have to
do all events and find all discoverables to beat the game. I’ve added a Lives
stat for each car. All it is is how many times you can wreck or get taken out
in a Marked Man or Road Rage before your car is totaled. If you drive through
an Auto Repair, your Lives count will be reset. Lives range from 2 to 5.

BP2A. Online Cars

versions of offline events (Marked Man, Road Rage, and Stunt Run) to the game.
It also brought two new vehicles, the first in Burnout history to have no

the right end of your Junkyard. The Bikes have no Boost and just like with the
cars, all the Bikes stats max out at 10. You can choose between a Male and
Female rider. After getting 101% on your Bike license, you can paint the first

BP2C. Legendary Cars
====================
Burnout’s first set of paid-for DLC. Each car in this set is based off another
car from a movie or TV show. The whole pack can be bought for $7.99 US or 600
MS from each console’s respective store or through the Burnout in-game store.
Alternatively, each car can be bought separately, although the combined price
of buying them separately is more than the pack. The Jansen 88 Special can be
bought by itself for $3.99 US or 320 MS. The other three cars can be bought by
themselves for $1.99 US or 160 MS each.

BP2D. Toy Cars
==============
The next batch of paid-for DLC came in the form of Toy cars. Nine of the
game’s vehicles were shrunk down to miniature size and most saw lower stats as
a result. However, most Toy cars can hit just about anything and drive away,
even a bus. There were 3 separate packs for this set of content. Toy Pack 1
included Toy versions of the Cavalry, WTR, P12, and Manhattan. Toy Pack 2
included Toy versions of the GT Concept, Takedown 4x4, Citizen, and Inferno
Van. Each pack costs $5.99 US or 480 MS and each individual car is $1.99 US or
160 MS. The ninth vehicle included was the Toy version of the Firehawk GP. It
is available for $2.49 or 240 MS. The third pack was a big Toy pack, which
included all nine vehicles for $12.99 US or 1000 MS.

boost active.

==============
BP2F. Cop Cars
==============
This was the fourth paid-for DLC pack released by Criterion. This pack takes a
drive down memory lane to Burnout 2: Point of Impact and revisits the idea of
Cops and Robbers. The pack costs $9.99 US or 800 MS to purchase. By purchasing
this pack, you receive PCPD variations of all original cars. This excludes
Burning Route prizes (with the exception of PCPD Special), Carbon cars, and
other DLC vehicles. Each car’s skin was designed based on the either the
country the manufacturer was from or some were based off of the designer. The
cars will appear in the following order: Hunter Citizen, Krieger PCPD Special,
and then the other cars in the order they appear in the ‘Paradise Cars’
section. Because the stats are the exact same, I won’t relist the cars.
However, the Citizen and PCPD Special will only appear if you have already
unlocked them either through gameplay or the Time Savers pack. They will still
appear in the ‘Paradise Cars’ section. All other 33 vehicles will be
available, regardless of percentage complete. 6 countries are represented
along with a few Burnout-themed cars. As with the Citizen and PCPD Special,
pressing L3/Push Left stick/P will activate the lights and siren. All Cop Cars
have the same amount of Lives as their “Paradise Cars” counterpart.

BP3. Event Locations
====================
All events will have: Event Name, Location, Destinations (except for Stunt
Runs and Road Rages), Time (Burning Route and Marked Man), Distances (except
Stunt Runs and Road Rages) and Prize Car (Burning Route only). With the Feb
5th update, comes something that everyone had been wanting for ages: Restart.
Instead of driving all the way back to the start to do the event again, all
you have to do is open Easy Drive and select Restart Event

===================
BP3A. Burning Route
===================
There are 35 Burning Routes in total, one for each car (with the exception of
Carbon and sponsor cars). If you own the car but have not found that car’s
Burning Route, you can drive through an Auto-Repair and the event will be
found automatically. Most of the early cars can be done with little to no
boost, if you don’t crash early on. Some of the later ones (especially Speed
cars) allow almost no room for error. Most Stunt or Aggression cars,
regardless of where you are in the game, can be done with little boost. About
half of the Speed cars require that you use boost at one point if you want to
beat the clock. These events do not reset after upgrading your licenses. The
distance listed is the distance it would be if you follow the GPS from the
start.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
1. Hunter Cavalry
Start: East Crawford and Patterson
Distance: 1.5 mi
Finish: Wildcats Baseball Stadium
Make it in 1m40s to win the Oval Champ 69
There isn’t much to this route. Stay on East Crawford until you get Webster
and boost as much as you can or want. You could probably crash a few times and
still make it.

11. Hunter Manhattan
Start: Webster and Andersen
Distance: 3.0 mi

------------------------------------------------------------------------------
12. Carson Fastback
Start: Harber
Distance: 3.3 mi
Finish: Lone Stallion Ranch
Make it in 2m02s to win the Fastback Special
The start for this event is like the Hydros Custom, in that it starts at a
light in the middle of the road and not an intersection. The Auto-Repair is
just past the intersection. Take off down Harber and boost in Oncoming until
you pass the I-88 ramps. Past the ramps, on your left, will be the Manners
Pier shortcut. Take it and there will be another shortcut on your left, take
that one as well. From here, just boost down South Bay as much as you can. If
you are low on boost or even if you aren’t, drive through the Gas Station. If
you find yourself low on boost when you reach the bridge, use the middle jump
that would also get you two billboards. You can either land back on South Bay
or you can stay on the railroad and get off when you see the finish banner on
your left.

Go up Ross and take the shortcuts that lead over the Junkyard. Get back on
Ross and Boost through the Lawrence Tunnel in Oncoming. Once you get out get
back on the other side of the road and stay on 7th until Franke Av. Take the
shortcuts on the right if you want to get on it easier. Follow Franke until it
merges onto 2nd. Once you get to Webster, go right and try not to end up on
I-88.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
18. Jansen P12
Start: South Bay and Shepherd
Distance: 5.2 mi
Finish: Wind Farm
Make it in 2m37s to win the P12 Track Package

19. Carson Inferno Van
Start: 1st and Fry

20. Rossolini Tempesta
Start: Paradise and Young
Distance: 2.5 mi
Finish: Naval Yard
Make it in 1m16s to win the Tempesta GT
This route always tripped me up at Hamilton and Harber because I didn’t know
which road was which at the time. Instead, if you go south down Young and then
onto Fry at the Times Square intersection (Be careful of the ramp alongside
the Parking Garage), you can take that down to Harber and from there find a
way to South Bay.

there just get onto Angus and head for the finish
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
28. Carson GT Concept
Start: Lucas and Hans
Distance: 4.5 mi
Finish: Wildcats Baseball Stadium
Make it in 1m51s to win the GT Flame
Once you start, go right down Lucas until you come to the railroad. Go onto
the railroad and jump onto I-88. Stay on I-88 until Section 1 and get off
using one of the ramps. Turn around and head for the win
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
29. Hunter Citizen
Start: Evans and 5th
Distance: 3.4 mi
Finish: Lone Stallion Ranch

30. Watson 25 V16 Revenge
Start: 3rd and Fry (Times Square intersection)
Distance: 5.6 mi
Finish: Observatory
Make it in 2m08s to win the Revenge Racer
Boost off the line and just before you get to 7th and Franke, there will be a
shortcut on your left and then again on your left once you make it through the
first one. Boost through the Lawrence Tunnel and go right onto North Rouse.
Take any shortcuts you want (I took none and still made it) and boost when you
can. If you don’t crash, you should be fine
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
31. Montgomery Hawker
Start: 2nd and Angus
Distance: 6.9 mi
Finish: Wind Farm
Make it in 2m48s to win the Hawker Solo
If you cut through the Baseball Stadium, jump Manners Pier and take the next
shortcut on your left after you land. You should be fine. There is a Gas
Station along South Mountain before it starts heading north. There are also a
few shortcuts out here to take as well.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
32. Krieger Uberschall 8
Start: 5th and Root
Distance: 3.9 mi
Finish: Lone Stallion Ranch
Make it in 1m30s to win the Uberschall Clear-View
You’re going to need to use Boost for most of this event. Once you start, head
south down Root until you get to Harber. Jump the Manners Pier and take the
next shortcut on the left and Boost down South Bay. If you need to, go through
the Gas Station half way down South Bay. You may be able to recover from an
early crash. I crashed once and finished with 2 seconds left
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
33. Carson Thunder Custom
Start: Lambert and Lawrence
Distance: 4.5 mi
Finish: Wind Farm
Make it in 2m13s to win the Thunder Shadow

Start: West Lake and Cannon
Distance: 4.1 mi
Finish: Coastguard HQ
Make it in 1m52s to win the Tribal Special

35. Krieger Racing WTR
Start: I-88 (Where Sections 2 and 3 meet)
Distance: 2.3 mi
Finish: Wildcats Baseball Stadium
Make it in 1m00s to win the PCPD Special
Stay in the same way lanes and use Boost when you can. Take one of the off
ramps to get on Webster and head for the finish. Any crash will pretty much
mean you fail
------------------------------------------------------------------------------

================
BP3B. Marked Man
================
These events are about survival. You have as much time as you need to make it
to the Finish as long as your don’t crash too much. There will be anywhere
from 2 cars (with a Learners Permit) to 4 (with Burnout License) trying to
keep you from reaching the finish. They are very aggressive. They will rarely
use any shortcuts, however; you may get one that chases you through one until
one of you crashes. Cars with high strength like the Pioneer, Inferno Van or
Takedown 4x4 and their upgrades are good choices. There are 15 Marked Man
events and they are listed in no particular order other than that was how I
wrote them. The distance listed is the one displayed as soon as you gain
control of your car and, if you follow what the GPS says, will be how far you
go. After you go through an Auto-Repair, the icon will disappear from your map
and you won’t be able to go back through that Auto-Repair for the duration of
the event.

Racing makes its return as one of the oldest events in the series. You will
race anywhere from 1-7 opponents. Your opponents are determined by your

get one or two opponents that go a different way than the rest of them. With
40 events available, races make up 1/3 of Paradise’s event roster. They are
listed in no special order. The distance listed is from start along the GPS

===============
BP3C. Road Rage
===============
Road Rage is probably one of the best things about Burnout. You will have a
time limit and takedown target and all you have to do is get target number
before time runs out or you crash out. For every Takedown you get, 5s will be
added to your time. Your first Takedown target will be 3 Takedowns and after
each win, the target for the next Road Rage will be one higher than it just
was. This will continue until you max out the Takedown target at 30 Takedowns.
I-88 is a popular place to do these since you can keep going in one big
circle. Aggression cars are really good here and Stunts can hold their own. I
would not recommend Speed. If you reach Critical Damage, find an Auto-Repair
and you’ll be good as new. After you go through an Auto-Repair, the icon will
disappear from your map and you won’t be able to go back through that
Auto-Repair for the duration of the event. There are 16 Road Rages, listed in
no special order. You will get 10s added on to your time for every Takedown;
however, with the release of the Feb 5th update, you will only get time added
on until you hit the target, then no more time will be added for Takedowns

BP3E. Stunt Run
===============
Stunt Run is the newest event to the Burnout series, and my least favorite
event to do. The name hints that Stunt cars do real well here. You will be
given a time limit and target score that depend on your license. During the
run, you can do stunts that will multiply your score. Doing things like
breaking billboards, landing a super jump, getting big air, or flat spinning
your car earn you a +1 multiplier. You can also get a +1 multiplier if you go
off a ramp in reverse. Landing a Barrel Roll gets you a +2 multiplier. Popular
places for getting multipliers easily are the Quarry, Airfield, Uphill steps,
Railroad in the west, and the Read Lane Super Jump. Some general tips are not
to use boost all at once. Use it in short bursts before the combo timer fills
up so reset it. Drifting, getting air, and e-braking can also reset the
counter. Another tip is don’t try anything you think you won’t be able to
land. If you crash, your score is added up while you are crashing. There are
14 Stunt Runs, in no special order
------------------------------------------------------------------------------

BP3F. Burning Rides
===================
Burning Rides are very similar to Burning Routes. All you have to do is get
from Point A to Point B before the timer runs out. The only difference between
the two is that some Burning Rides have checkpoints that you must pass through
scattered along the route. There are 19 Burning Rides around Paradise, listed
in no particular order. I will only put checkpoints if the route has any. The
start location will have the name of the car event that starts at that
intersection for reference. These events are already listed on the map the
first time you get on a Bike, so there is no need to drive through all the
intersections trying to find them all.

BP3H. Island Events
===================
A list of all 15 events found on Big Surf Island. They all are in no
particular order other than that is how I found them by driving around. New to
Big Surf Island are Island Tours. They have a set time limit within which you
have to drive through all checkpoints. However, the races are mostly off-road
through the new shortcuts and off the new Mega Jumps. For Checkpoints, I will
try to be specific as possible but some may just be general locations. You are
able to leave the Island during events like Stunt Run, Road Rage, and 1 race

BP5. Road Rules
===============
A list of both Time and Showtime Road Rules. After winning 4 events, Atomika
will tell you about Road Rules. For Time Road Rules, you are going to want to
use a car with a high speed rating. Stunt and Speed do well here but I prefer
Stunt because it is easier to use Boost. For Showtime Road Rules, Aggression
cars are preferred because, the bigger the Boost bar, the farther you can go.
Plus most Aggression cars are big, which means hitting cars can be a bit
easier. Road Rules don’t count towards your Licenses but do count towards 100%

=====================
BP5A. Time Road Rules
=====================
To begin a Time Road Rule, just drive down the road. It doesn’t matter if you
are doing an event or not. Cagney changed it so that you don’t have to use the
D-pad to cycle through until you find “Best Offline Time”. You need to go
from
one end of the road to the other before time expires. You can use shortcuts,
but be careful. If a shortcut ends up on the same road, (EX: Cutting through
the Hotel on Angus) then there is no problem. There are some shortcuts like
the Uphill steps that will not count and the clock will stop and disappear. If
a shortcut leads you onto another road, however; you begin to be timed for the
road you end up on as if you weren’t on the road you came from.

BP5B. Showtime Road Rules
=========================
To begin Showtime, Hit L1 and R1 at the same time. You can enter Showtime at
any time, even to end events. If you hit up on the D-pad until it says “Best
Offline Crash”. Scores range anywhere from 250,000 on small roads and most
roads in the west to 1,500,000 on long roads or roads with a lot of traffic.
Changing roads is different in Showtime than Time. From
[email protected], it's whatever street you started on,
regardless where you finish up on. For example, I started on E Crawford Drive
and went onto 7th street and the street was still read as E Crawford Drive
when my score was tallied up. So, you can travel to whatever street you want
to, as long as the road you started on is the one you want the score to be
accounted for. If you smash any sign like a Highway sign or a Billboard, you
get a 10,000 bonus. Your distance traveled gets multiplied by 100 and added to
your score. For every bus you hit or cause to crash into any car you already
hit, you get a +1 multiplier. If you use cars without boost, like the Rai-Jin
or Olympus, you will receive a temporary Grey Boost bar that is about the size
of a Stunt Boost bar.

BP5C. Bike Time Rules
=====================
Bike Time Rules follow basically the same principles that the regular Time
Rules have. If you go onto a different road before you have made it to the end
of the one you are on, you will begin to be timed for the road you went onto
if you turn onto one of the ends of the road. The time listed first is the
Road Time during the day. The second time is for the night. The time for the
Night Rule will always be faster than the Day Rule because of lighter traffic.

BP5D. Big Surf Island Road Rules
================================
Just like with Time Road Rules in the rest of Paradise City, switching roads
before finishing the one you are being timed for will result in having the
road you were being timed on change to the road you just turned on, as long as
you turn onto one of the ends of the road.

Showtime Rules are still the same on the Island. Hitting buses or causing them
to crash will add to your multiplier, smashing signs will add 10,000 to your
score, and your distance is multiplied by 100 and added to your score before
being multiplied.

BP6. Challenges
===============
Challenges for both Offline and Online. Only the host can select which Online
Freeburn Challenges the group does. For Online challenges, I will list whether
your score counts for you alone (Individual) or whether everyone’s score is
combined (Co-op). For all challenges listed Individual, everyone needs to
complete the challenge to receive credit for completing it. If you join a game
is the middle of the challenge, you will not have to complete the challenge,
you can drive around and try to own some of Today’s Best. Most Freeburn
challenges repeat themselves with more players. If someone leaves a Freeburn
challenge before it is complete, the other drivers can still complete the
challenge as long as they still can beat it without that person. It will only
work for 3P challenges and up. This goes for both Timed and Freeburn Bike
Challenges as well. The Time Challenges will be included after the 50 Freeburn
Challenges with the first one numbered “T1”. For any time challenges that
require you to do a lap on I-88 or to get from one Toll Booth to another, the
challenge will be cancelled immediately if any driver leaves I-88.

========================
BP6A. Offline Challenges
========================
Certain challenges require using certain cars to get them but other than that,
you can use any car to complete these challenges. You can complete some of
these challenges while you are online as well

1.	Lookin’ Good: Repair your first wrecked car. Once you start, take the
Cavalry to the Auto-Repair on Angus

2.	Watt?: Set a Time Road Rule on Watt St

3.	It’s Showtime: Set a Showtime Road Rule on East Crawford Dr

4.	Great Start: Win a Race. The race at Webster and 7th is an easy way to
get this challenge done because it is a drag race down Webster

5.	Misdemeanor: Collect 5 Billboards

6.	Off the Beaten Path: Collect 25 Smashes

7.	Getting Away With It: Win a Race without crashing. Use the same strategy
as Great Start

8.	Bottom of the Class: Get your D Class License

9.	Yatta!: Shutdown the SI-7

10. Showboating: Get a x5 multiplier in Showtime

11. Perfect Rage: Get 10 Takedowns in Road Rage without crashing

12. Rising from the Ashes: Repair your car at Critical Damage in a Road Rage
event

13. Spinnin’ Around: Perform a 360 degree Flat Spin in any car

14. Frenzy!: Get a Takedown Frenzy (5 Takedowns in a row without crashing)

15. Underachiever: Get your C Class License

16. Learning to Fly: Successfully land 5 Super Jumps

17. Getting Into the Groove: Get a x2 Boost Chain

18. Taking Down Your Elders: Shutdown the Rossolini LM Classic

19. Duckin’ and Weavin’: Win a Marked Man without being taken down. The
Marked
Man at Hamilton and 5th is the shortest which may be the easiest

20. 7 Stunt Wonders: Win 7 unique Stunt Runs. Whether you do these during the
same license or not doesn’t matter, as long as they start at 7 different
locations. You will have this challenge complete by the time you get your
Elite License since you would have to win all Stunt Runs

21. Curb Job: Power Park with at least an 80% rating

22. The Show Must Go On: Get a x10 multiplier in Showtime

23. Gate Crasher: Collect 200 Smashes

24. Road Block: Set a Showtime Road Rule on 30 roads

25. Speed Freak: Set a Time Road Rule on 30 roads

26. Feeling the Burn: Win 10 Burning Routes

27. Rampage!: Get a Takedown Rampage (10 Takedowns in a row without crashing,
turning around, long time between Takedowns). If you are having trouble, head
onto I-88

28. The Mean Mile: Set a record of 1 mile driving in Oncoming

29. Must Try Harder: Get your B Class License

30. Manhattan Project: Shutdown the Hunter Manhattan

31. Un-Chained Felony: Get a x10 Boost Chain

32. Parallel Park: Power Park with a 100% rating

33. You’ve Just Hired the B-Team: Shutdown the Carson Inferno Van

34. Millionaires’ Club: Score over 1,000,000 in Stunt Run

35. Hangtime: Successfully land 25 Super Jumps

36. Chairman of the Boards: Collect 60 Billboards

37. Daredevil: Land a 2 Barrel Roll jump. The jumps at Read Lane, Quarry
entrance, and off Rockridge Dam are good places to do this challenge

38. Boosting Around The World: Get a x20 Boost Chain. If you are having
trouble getting this challenge completed, here is an easy way to do it. Get in
the SI-7 and start the Stunt Run (yes Stunt Run) at Patterson and 9th. Head up
and Patterson and go into the Oncoming lane of I-88 and start boosting. After
about a lap, you should have this challenge complete. The reason for doing a
Stunt Run is because the traffic thins out even more than online making it
real easy except for around the toll booths or if it is foggy while doing it.

39. Flying Colors: Get your A Class License

40. The Full Monty: Shutdown the Montgomery GT 2400

41. Stunt Superstar: Score a x40 multiplier in Stunt Run. This one is one of
the hardest challenges to complete. Express Yourself, Falling Down, and Base
Jumper are good ones for this challenge. I’ve heard a lot of people doing this
by hitting at least 3 of these places plus anywhere in between: Railroad along
Nelson, Quarry, South Bay Bridge, and Eastern Shore Airfield (at least I went
there when I managed to get it). A good handling car, like the Hawker, is
recommended for some of the risky attempts

42. Supercharged: Win 25 Burning Routes

43. King of the Road: Shutdown the Jansen X12 Supercar

44. Car in a China Shop: Get 500 Takedowns (incl. Online and Offline)

45. Fall Guy: Shutdown the Hunter 4x4

46. Paradise Won: Win your Burnout Driving License

47. Elementary: Win a Race in the Watson 25 V16 Revenge. The race at Webster
and 7th is an easy one

48. All Pimped Out: Win all Burning Routes

49. Explorer: Find all events

50. Paid and Displayed: Enter all Parking Garages. Before you complete this
challenge, the ticker at the bottom will tell you to visit the game’s site to
figure out how to get it. Just make it to the roof of all 11 Parking Garages

51. Long Haul: Drive 750 miles

52. Bustin’ Out: Collect all Billboards

53. Totally Smashed: Collect all Smashes

54. Running Scared: Win a Marked Man in the Krieger Racing WTR. This one is a
challenge as well because you can only crash twice before you fail. Strike Out
is recommended since it is the shortest Marked Man. When you begin, use the
ramp next to the Parking Garage to get onto the railroad above. Jump the gap
and after you land, there will be another ramp in the middle of the road. You
will be back on the railroad for a bit. Jump off and boost through the finish
and you should get it.

55. Flying High: Successfully land all Super Jumps

56. Speed King: Set a Time Road Rule on every road

57. Crashin’ All Over the World: Set a Showtime Road Rule on every road

58. Shopaholic: Find all Drive Thrus and Parking Garages

59. Elite: Win your Burnout Elite License

BP7. Freeburn Games
===================
Three new Freeburn Challenges were introduced in Cagney to add to the fun of
Online play. You can play Stunt Run, Road Rage, Cops and Robbers, and Marked
Man with the other players in your game. While online, open Easy Drive and
select Freeburn Game and select whichever game you want to play. The option
won’t be available if there is no one in your game. Party is accessed in the
menu where you choose to enter Paradise or visit the store

================
BP7A. Marked Man
================
The game will randomly select someone to be the Marked Man until everyone has
been the Marked Man. You will 1m30s to avoid being taken down. If you are the
Marked Man, you will have no Boost and limited top speed. You won’t be able to
see the other players on your mini-map, as well. If you survive the 1m30s, you
will receive 1 point. If you Takedown one of the players trying to take you
down, you receive 2 points. If you are chasing the Marked Man, you will have
Unlimited Boost. You will be able to see where the Marked Man is on your map.
The person(s) with the most points after everyone has been the Marked Man
wins.

===============
BP7B. Road Rage
===============
The players will be randomly placed on either the Red or Blue team. You can
change teams by opening Easy Drive and selecting Change Teams. The Blue team
has no Boost, a limited top speed, and can’t see the Red team on their map
like in Marked Man. They can see other players on the Blue team. The Red team
has Unlimited Boost, and can see everyone on their map. The Blue team must
make it to a checkpoint and then the finish. It only takes one Blue player to
make it through the finish for the Blue team to win. The Red team wins if they
Takedown all members of the Blue team.

===============
BP7C. Stunt Run
===============
Players will have 2m00s to get the highest score that they can. There are no
Boost restrictions in this game, as long as your car has Boost. The
multipliers are the same as offline. Billboards, Super Jumps, Big Air, Flat
Spinning, and Reverse Air get you a +1 multiplier. Barrel Rolling still gets
you a +2 multiplier. An addition to the Online mode, if you Takedown another
player, you not only kill their combo making them lose all the points they
would have had, you get a +3 multiplier. You can still keep you combo going
after time has expired. Once your combo ends, your score will be added up and
finalized while you wait for other to finish.

===========
BP7D. Party
===========
Party was released early in February. Not so much a Freeburn game as the
others since you select Party from the Main Menu but it sort of fits since you
play with friends and pass the controller. It was the first paid-for DLC
(unless you purchased the Ultimate Box, then it was part of the game) and cost
about $9.99 US to buy from the Playstation Store or Burnout’s new in-game
store. There are 3 different types of challenges that you can be given: Speed,
Stunt, and Skill. Speed contests consist of doing certain tasks the fastest.
Stunt challenges have you do stunts. Skill challenges will have you perform
certain skills within a set time limit. For Skill and Speed challenges, you
will receive points based on how well you do. For Stunt challenges, your
points will be based on whether you can complete the stunt or not. Since
points are awarded on whether you pass or fail, the points you receive for
passing the challenge will be the same amount awarded for a first place finish
for that number of players (ex. Pass a Stunt Challenge with 4 players will get
you 750 points). Up to 8 players can participate in Party and you can up to 8
rounds. For each round, you can choose whether you want to do a Speed, Stunt,
and Skill challenge of if you want a random challenge type selected for you.
If you choose to use the generic “Player #” names, the car you use (which is
preset to the challenge) will match the color of your icon. For example,
Player 1 is red, so that person would have a red car. To change a player’s
name, hit down on the D-pad and select that player. A keyboard will pop-up and
you can enter the name you wish to use. The order for the first round is
random but for every round after, the order will follow the standings with the
leader going first. For rounds 1-3, the points will be the original amount.
For rounds 4-6, the points will be doubled. In the final two rounds (7 & 8),
the points will be triple the original value

BP7E. Cops and Robbers
======================
Cops and Robbers was released at the end of April. For $9.99 US or 800 MS, you
gain access to a new online Freeburn game and cop liveries for 33 cars, listed
in the ‘Cop Cars’ section. If you are Freeburning online and the host
starts a
Cops and Robbers game, if you have not purchased or downloaded the content,
you will be kicked from the game. If you have purchased the pack, there will
be a police shield icon next to your name in the Player List. When the game
begins, you will be told whether you are a cop or a robber. Just like in Road
Rage, the teams can be uneven and can be switched in Easy Drive. The host can
choose to lock the cars so everyone drives the same car, or the host can elect
to have everyone use the car they are driving. However, if you are driving a
paid-for DLC car, like the Nighthawk or 88 Special, you will be asked to
switch cars, even if you are the host. The only cars allowed are Paradise Cars
and Cop Cars. If the cars are locked, Robbers will have a Red paint job of the
Paradise Car and the Cops will have the Cop Car. The host has the power to
choose between 1, 3, or 5 rounds and whether there is traffic or not. Neither
team will have Boost throughout the game. While driving with the Gold, your
car will be slowed down, like being the Marked Man. If one of your teammates
is carrying the Gold, their name will change to Protect in yellow and their
mini-map icon will also change to yellow. If one of your opponents is carrying
the Gold, their name will change to Target in yellow, as will their mini-map
icon. Each team has their own base to get the Gold to. The Cops need to get
the Gold to the Country Club while the Robbers need to get the Gold to the
Naval Yard. The first team to win 1, 2, or 3 rounds, depending on the amount
of rounds, wins the game.
