The following Classic characters can be unlocked as playable characters in Arcade mode by entering the corresponding codes. If the code has been entered correctly you will hear a confirmation sound. The classic version characters don't have super combos and cannot reduce throw damage.
Unlock Classic Balrog:

To play as Akuma (which means Demon in Japanese) in Arcade mode you must select Guile and press Up. If you want to play as Akuma in Training/Versus modes you have to select E. Honda and press Up.
