All Shadow of the Colossus Cheats and Tips - Latest First.
Brown Agro
Get ALL the items in Normal or Hard Time Attack mode. Then at the 'Title' screen hold 'Square'.
Unlock Time Attack Mode
This feature becomes available when you complete the game.
White Agro
Get ALL the items in Hard Time Attack mode and defeat ALL 16 Colossi. Then at the 'Title' screen hold 'Circle'.
Reminiscence Mode
When you have killed a Colossus return to their petrified bodies and if you press 'Circle' your character will kneel down and pray. This will open Reminiscence mode where the graphics will change to old film appearance and you will see a flashback.
Hard Time Attack Rewards
The following rewards can be earned by completing the corresponding tasks in Hard Time Attack mode. You will receive one item for every two Colossi you defeat in this mode.
Harpoon of Thunder (Long Range Projectile Weapon):
Defeat 2 Colossi.
Sword of the Sun (Reflects Light Even When in the Dark)
Defeat 4 Colossi.
Fruit Tree Map:
Defeat 6 Colossi in Hard Time Attack Mode
Cloth of Desperation (Parachute):
Defeat 14 Colossi.
Shaman's Cloak (Decreases Damage Taken):
Defeat 8 Colossi.
Lizard Detection Stone:
Defeat 10 Colossi.
Shaman's Mask (Decrease Damage Taken):
Defeat 12 Colossi.
Queen's Sword (From ICO):
Defeat 16 Colossi.
Time Attack Rewards
Complete the game once to unlock Time Attack mode and then complete the following tasks in that mode to earn the corresponding reward. To begin a challenge you must walk up to a statue in the temple and pray (press Circle).
Whistling Arrow:
Defeat 2 Colossi.
Cloak of Force:
Defeat 4 Colossi.
Mask of Strength:
Defeat 6 Colossi.
Lizard Detection Stone:
Defeat 8 Colossi.
Fruit Tree Map:
Defeat 10 Colossi.
Mask of Power:
Defeat 12 Colossi.
Cloak of Deception:
Defeat 14 Colossi.
Flash Arrow/Brown Agro:
Defeat ALL Colossi.

There are large green statues with little stone 'doors' where you hit the circle button when you're in front of them and it'll ask you if you want to save. There's also one in front of the temple up the stairs in the center but it's built into the wall so it's easy to miss!(I did for the whole first two times I played...) Usually it glows every couple of seconds and has ivy around it. |

To pray you press circle and you don't pray at the statues you go to the place where you killed the colossus and pray at the pile of rock that their bodies turned into. |

I'm 95% sure there are only 16 Colossus, it's either that or 18 but it's probably 16. You can check by going to the main temple and counting the statues. |
| Ok, I'm stuck on the 11 colossus(the bull thing in the canyon by the lake, in a room) and I can't beat him. Someone he.. |
Once you get to the chamber head to one the fire lamps and climb up it. After the colossus stuns himself jump down grab the piece of wood and get back up on the flame lamp. Light the wood and drive the colossus back to the edge and make him fall. After he falls jump down on his back and start stabbing quickly before he starts running. |
