There's a blue pick-up in the air that has a thing in it. When you use it DONT hit it, hold the button that uses it. You should hear a charging-like sound. Until it gets to a high-pitched sound, keep holding it. When the sound stays the same, let go. It should shoot a Big ball of electricity.
While in the Warhawk/Nemesis, fly into the blue lightning weapon pick-up. Equip it and the crosshair should change into a transparent ring with a cirlce in the middle. Hold down L1 (or the button you use to fire secondary weapons) and the ring will slowly fill up in a clockwise direction, and you will hear a sound getting gradually higher, as mentioned above. When the ring is completely filled, or the sound stops ascending in pitch, let the secondary fire button go, and you will fire the lightning ball, which should take up all 10 ammunition. It is useful for clearing out mines, such as round a flag on Capture the Flag, or round a base on Zones. It is also, in my opinion, more useul for firing at vehicles and other aircraft as it stays active for a few seconds causing continual damage to the directly-hit vehicle, rather than hitting someone who is on foot, as it can be harder to hit them and the lightning ball just stays active on the ground, rather than on the actual person directly-hit.
