How do I do the 9 lives mystery

I always looked for the biggest spot and I found the goth manor but I can't move in it says locked and people are saying got to do the 9 lives mystery I you tubed it and every thing but nothing came up I even have the cat

Go to the mystery journal (if you've already registered as a mysterologist at the city hall) and just follow the steps they tell you to do. I'm stuck on the search for Mr. Snugglywhiskers though. That's one of the things you have to do. But it takes a while to complete it, I know because I've done it multiple times.

Go to the town hall

I don’t know much yet but you go to city hall with a human sim and a cat and then (the human will do this) you click on city hall the menu will show up then the mere is a option called city hall, click that and click become mysteryologist or something like that (it’s on the bottom) and click the nine lives mystery and let the cat do the rest (you get 500 simolonians for this and the goth mansion after you complete!
