When you are finding the Jagged Crown? I am sure that one of the enemy soldiers has it on them, should be a dead soldier right by the door, search him for it. That or you are given it by an ally.

It is on the floor directly in front of the door. It's like touching the door, you may not be able to see it, do move your pointer around there to locate it.

This answer is valid, It was on the ground by the door near the guards. Can't quite remember if | searched the guards by the door or it was just laying there on the ground but it's there.
