Question for The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion

I'm on the (Ultimate Heist) for the Thieves Guild... And I went threw the area were you had to shoot that big statue .. I did all that and got threw them monks and I couldn't make it out cause I was super low on lock-picks... So I started over went ahead and shot the statue and left so I wouldn't have to do it again ok.. Well after I got back from restocking it said that it needed a key and I'm like WTF and here I've been trying to figure out if I'm screwed or what cause after I shot the statue with the arrow I saved it case something might of happened and now I think I'm just screwed and got o start all over again... Am I or is there something I missing

You need the Arrow of Extrication to open the path, normal arrows don't work. If you fired the arrow before, look around the area, it could still be there. If not you will have to reload the game and try again,but remember to pick up the arrow in case you run into problems again, at least you will still have the arrow.

Reload the game from a saved data. You won't be able to unlock the door ever again, peroid.
