How do I get both upgrade paths on skylanders so I can achieve the "Gotta buy them all" trophy?

You only have to buy all the upgrades on the path you pick.
I´ve heard that you can have both paths once you reset your skylander 5 times after fully upgrading him
You have to get all of the Skylanders including Legendaries, then you'll be able to. And that reseting five times thing doesn't work, they hacked their Wii and it's illegal.
U do have to get all including soul gem and if series 2 then a wow pow as well
