Question for NHL 11

In my GM mode, my reputation is a -20 and I don't know how it got so low. I do everything my owner wants and make a ton of trades with the CPU that are good for them. How do I bring up my GM rep.?

This is probably because you are tradin alot of your players, even if you do everything your owner ask for and get task points your reputation will still be bad if you keep on trading your players. For ex. Signing free agents and than trading them is bad for your reputation. I would draft or pick some young talented players and keep them with your team till their contract is finish. If you would like to keep them try to sign them to what they want. A young player wants more money so make a shorter contract with the negotiations while and older player is usually for the years. I have played with vancouver and ottawa, and I have kept the key players like sedins, kesler, edler, luongo. Everyone else asked for too much money so I play them with the younger guys like hodgson shirokov.

Like said above, recently added free agents should not be traded, that will damage your rep. After a year or so, it won't matter anymore. Another thing that can damage your rep is when you make outnumbered trades, meaning if you trade like five players for one, single player.
