Question for Monkey Island 2: LeChucks Revenge

There was no near grog in the vanilla envelope in the jail after I unlocked the door for Kate. Where else can I get some?

Same thing happened to me. Go outside, into town and try opening it again.

Going into town didn't work for me. 100% Stuck, no near grog.
