Who the hell is Akiba?

Who the hell is Akiba? I hope you don't find this silly that I'm asking about a character's identity, but I need to ask. I don't have the game and so only know the minimium about the minor characters. I wouldn't have been interested at all in knowing his identity if I hadn't seen him take his mask off. First he looks like young snake, and second he marries Meryl in the end. So my questions are: who is Akiba? Why does he look like snake? Why does he marry Meryl? And is the marriage consesual? Because the guy doesnt look happy at all.

Akiba is a character from the previous games also known as Johnny. He is best know for his extreme diahrira, which happens all the time, and passing out with his butt in the air. I don't think he looks like Snake, if you were watching a trailer then you saw young snake because Snake has face camo now. He marries Meryl because she is hot and he loves her mad skills. So no, the marriage isn't consensual. By the game and learn more!

Akiba is Johnny Sakaski, a Genome Soldier from MG1. He also appears in the MG2(*hint*The man taking a leak*hint*) as a GRU soldier. He looks like Young Snake because that back in MG1 the Genome Soldiers had gene therapy using dna from the Big Boss, so he looks like young Snake because of that.
