How do I defeat the kraken?

First stand by one of the big pillars. Soon after the kraken will attack you thus putting a big hole in the pillar. Walk inside of the pillar to go into a mini chalenge beat the mini challenge to hurt the kraken 1/4 of his health. Do this 3 more times to defeat the kraken

the answer by MarvelMan2K7 is terrible. That doesn't explain anything. I have been trying to beat him for 20 minutes and he hasn't done anything. I have tried waiting by all four pillars - nothing. I have tried attacking him - nothing. I have tried waiting by the pillars while attacking him - nothing. So if you are going to answer a question don't give a half-@$$ answer.

I followed his directions and had no issues beating the Kraken

That answer was terrible and the rest of you are pretty much worthless trolls for not trying to help either. You have to kill all the guards that come out of the prior pillar before kraken will destroy another

I can't the minions are invincible is it a glitch or something like that?

You have to kill the little minions that come out of the pillars, then stand by the pillars. This will force the monster to head butt the pillar. Then you enter the smashed pillar and play a mini game that relies on reflexes. Do this to all four pillars.
