saving a game before it's over and training camp issues

Help! Up until this year I used ps2. Now with ps3 and madden 2009 I don't know how to save a game at half-time or even during the game. I like to play before work but don't always have time for a whole game. Also how do you do training camp with madden 2009? Always liked that feature but can't find it on the new game. I don't play online so I need these features even more....THANKS EVERYONE WHO CAN HELP!!!

You can't. Those feature were taken out on the PS3 and 360 versions of the game.
