pushing a crate;HELP!!

I'm new to console gaming, but getting better at it. I love this game except for the part I can't seem to get past. It's in the early part on the Aegean shipwreck. Kratos needs to push a small crate down the deck of the ship so he can jump on it and continue up to the archers with the flaming arrows. My problem (and his) is that those blamed archers blow up the crate and it reappears at the beginning. I've gone through it over and over. They always blow it up before I get to the other end of the deck. Is there a way to save the game without reaching one of those Zeus stations? Or is there a special technique for doing this part? I have been kicking the crate and then running away from it, then running back for another kick. It can be very frustrating.I'll appreciate any helpful advice and hints on the matter.

Well try to puch the crate 2 the rigth then hold R2 n X then realese X so the crate go straight 2 the big red crate to get cover then do the same but to the left

Heyy man join the club that mission gave me a ton of trouble too.
My technique was to line the little crate up with one of the massive barricades and just fire it with the most powerful kick Kratos can muster
Repaet this to the end of the deck
If you havent already beat this I hope I helped
