How do you curve the ball in freekicks and how much power do you need to score

All depends how far you are from goal, really. L1 put the power on, so you thump it, but it loses accuracy and direction, and often than not, hit the wall.

Hold the left analog left, or right as you're shooting the ball to curve it. Hold it forward for a low drive, and back to try and dip it in, after going over the wall.

Practise in the arena. (just press the dual pad to take a free kick)

Sometimes it's best to blast it rather than put spin on it, depending on where you're positioned. To curl the ball, move the left analog stick around whilst your shooting, and it will move in the air. This helps as you can dip it in over the wall.

If your quite far out, hold L1 to blast it.
