Question for F.E.A.R. 2: Project Origin

In F.E.A.R. 2 mission 10 I was due to go into the lab to meet Snake Fist. The door to the lab had opened but I took a step back. The door then closed and I was no longer able to open it. I went back to try and find a way to open the door but was unable to. So I went back to the Cell Block and was unable to escape from there as well. At this point I seem to be trapped because my last save brings me to the same situation. In this game you do not have the option to go back in save points. Any ideas?
