Unfortunately you need to beat Daimon and get a level 3 Cursed item and purify it BUT that won't automatically get you Hellfire armor. It depends on your vocation. You should be a red vocation (Warrior or Fighter) to increase your odds of getting Hellfire armor.
Obtaining hellfire items is solely reliant upon you and your pawns vocation, ensure you are both red vocation and purify a Lvl 3 armour item and you should acquire hellfire items, however the only way to obtain the cloak that I know is after you defeat Damien the first time you will get a quest from the board outside stating defeat damions awakened form, the reward is a hellfire cloak. Hope this helps

I do the whole red vocation thing but I keep getting the Betrayer' Greaves, do we both have to be the same red ie Warrior / warrior or Fighter / fighter
