Ok this a is question I've been asked many times, it is glitch there is no stairway up to the roof just keep and eye on him and when he goes to the roof just follow him you will figure out what to do.

Well if I could have your PSN I could show you and that would be easier though I can try and tell you first. OK, coming out of the building you're trying to get on top of go to the right and you'll see a broken scaffolding jump on the railing on the side you can see you may fall quite a few times but keep trying, I suggest doing this in a private match to practice before going into a ranked match and trying it, if you still need help message me at PSNAlex on the PS network and I'll send you a friend request and show you. Ok it's not that hard to get up there. First stand in front of the gray building looking at the gray building go to the left as far as you can, theres a scaffolding thing hanging there jump onto it (probably the hardest part. Most ppl try to just from the closest corner at a bad angle, jump at an angle where you're almost facing straight at the building with a 90 degree angle, so amybe an 80-70 degree angle so when you grab it you don't slide off when you're in the air you should let go of the analog stick to make sure you don't slide off) then climp up it like a ladder when you get to the top ull see a narrow edge along the building walk on it and be careful not to fall off (esp. Around corners)then there will be another scaffolding on the other side jump into that, then up on it's ledge, then go to it's highest point and you can get ontop the building, walk along the edge of the very top of the building and you're done (it mite b a good idea to put a tactical insertion here if you want to in case you die you don't have to do this all over again)

Ok dude I can show you easy, all you gotta do is on the left of tht building ull c a scaffolding hanging, you hv to jump to grab it lyk a ladder, to do this you gotta stop pushin forward on the controller just as you touch the scaffolding. Then dnt move left or ryt or push any button just climb up slowly nd wen you near the top is says press X to climb up. Then walk along the ledge on the left of you, it doesnt look lyk you can walk on it but you can. Keep goin on it aroung the corners nd stuff until you get to a leaning scaffolding on the other side, just walk up nd jump up onto the roof, easy and much shorter tym than it takes to read my explanation!

Everyone has good explanations but if someone is already up there, there is an easy way to kill them. One way is to gon on top of the building with the elevators. Jump of onto the beams then jump on the crane. Turn LEFT and go to the end Then walk up the beam going up until you get to the top. You should be able to shoot them or the giant gas tank right next to them. If you blow up the gas tank you could take out there Tactical Insertion with some luck. If you have semtex, go inside the building that they are on top of. The ceiling is made of glass in the middle and you should be able to blow up the gas tank with a grenade. It may take two grenades.
