I have located the gold target in the beginning of the game but I can not figure out how to get past this point it's really bugging me. How or what do I do to move past this point in the opera theatre?

You have to climb along the walls. The starting place is behind the seats and the guy who gave you the mission.

I had the same issue. I literally went back and forth over the gold area until it clicked. Random...

I'm having the same problem, I located the area but it wouldn't zoom in.
It's frustrating and a bad start of the game

I had the same problem. When you have the eagle vision on look towards the theater box and notice the glow to the left. Make sure it lines up on top of the theater box. Like your focusing a camera.
