Question for Assassin's Creed Brotherhood

I just get out of the Animus and I go outside in the courtyard. It says I have 10 mins to do something. I don't know what I'm suppose to do or where to go. Anybody know?

That time limit is for you to explore the town/courtyard to find the hidden peices located around the area. I'm not sure what happens if you do not make it back in time though I'm afraid.

There are several things to be located around the Villa, courtyard and village below, there is a guide here on Supercheats that may have those locations listen.

Nothing it takes you back to the sanctuary automaticly

I found some box on the roof of the villa where a cannon ball hit outside the animus haven't really looked around though

It just ten minutes for you to look around and explore, no missions or objectives really, and when your ten minutes runs out or you don't choose to make your way back to the sanctuary within the ten minutes, you will automatically be taken back there.

There are 5 artifacts in modern Monteriggioni
Ezio's belt (on the balcony of the brothel)
Claudia's book (just inside the doorway of the study)
Maria's box (highesg roof of the villa in a crater)
Mario's sword (on a roundabout under a tree )
And the auditore cape (in the church)
I dunno what they do if you collect them... Just an achievement I guess?
