I'm really stuck...
I got to that place called Arsuf and killed all the groups of people on the pathway then I spoke to king richard and I started a sword fight against loads of templars and they are really tough to beat...
Is their any sort of technique I should use when fighting them to make it a lttle bit easier ?

Wait untill they attack you and use counter. Don't assasinate them when you've knocked them over, that will leave you vulnerable. Wait till they stand up and attack you again and you should find you have more blood on your sword

Be patient and counter or... Do what I did and this may is only advised for really experienced players...Fight with Hidden Blade. I know, I know it is hard to counter but, you can kill ppl as soon as they hesitate. Whenever a guard scratches his leg or starts talking in jibberish kill him and dod ge all attacks. If you are really good you will notice the slightest opening in their defense.
Use counter attacks. If you have the right timing you'll be able to kill a soldier in one move (usually) using a counter. or....you could maybe just try running away... :p
Van is an actual person who only visits on days ending in 3 or 8 (e.g 3rd, 8th, 13th, 18th etc))
So make sure you go back and visit the inn then
Keep press R1 and don't attack them, wait for them to attack you. When they do it, move the left analog stick in the direvtion of your attacker and press square.
Morrison12843_7371, your advice isn't helping much. To get past you must keep defense up and counter as much as you can. Don't attack wildly! Keep your eyes open incase for any grabs.
Fight like Prince of Persia group fights (if you've played it). Don't hit 1 person over and over, go in circles, hit one, turn the analog stick, hit a different one, and repeat. This method catches the templars off-guard, and you can get some free hits in. (The short blade works well for this, but only use it if you Have lots of health). Use the normal sword to fend off Templars, and watch for hits from behind and grabs.
