Drifting

The best 2 cars for drifting is the challenger and the zonda use the zonda for tokyo dockyards and use the challenger for less tight track I'm the expert since I beat almost all the need for speed games I'm not trying to brag and also do not use the code mastercode because it doesnt work whats so ever

Cars

For drag races the cars I suggest are the Toyota Supra, Camaro Concept and the Ponitac GTO. In all three cars I've done under 7.5 second quarter miles. With the Pontiac I've nearly broken into the 11 seconds for a half mile. All cars have level four parts and are fine going straight, they hardly veer. None are tuned as I don't tune my cars. I haven't tried many other cars except the Drag King car is really bad compared to those ones.

For speed all you need is the new Mitsubishi Evo (same as Ryo's). Fully upgraded I get into the 390km/h area with it un-tuned. My biggest recommendation for speed races are 4WD cars, they are much more stable than any other car. If you can afford it a Lamborghini is probably the best car you can choose.

For grip cars, my Subaru Impreae beats every other car I've used hands down, excluding the Zonda of course. The Lotus Elise is also extremely good for the smaller, trickier tracks. The BMW E46 is a good car, way better than the E92, and you can win it which is a bonus.

Drifting, the AE86 Corolla GTS is a must have, as well as the RX-7 or RX-8, both are relatively similar, my testing hasn't shown substantially whether one is better than the other. The Tokyo Dockyard is probably the hardest course to drift, I strongly recommend getting a muscle car to use on some of the tracks, as well as the Corolla, you might have to try each car on the tracks if you want to get the best possible score.

In my experience with the game, unless you can be bothered tuning, muscle cars are useless in comparison with the other cars (exception being Tokyo Dockyard drifts). The Zonda is worth the money when grip racing. Same with the Lamborghini at speed racing.

I haven't tested all the cars I want to try yet either, will soon.
Some cars are on my PS2 game, other cars are on my PS3 game as well.

This may seem kinda funny, but I don't know what is going on with my car. As soon as I start a race, without even accelerating, my car says light damage! I don't even move anywhere and the car gets damaged! It is a viper and I'm tired of wasting my money on repairs. Any help is greatly appreciated!

Extra 100+ horsepower

I use this for drag settings, it may cause different effects in other styles. In the tune section for your car go to the engine part and then push the cam all the way up to advanced and then push the start and end boost all the way up. This will give you better performance and top end RPMs, it should also push up your horsepower by atleast 100. If it doesn't then upgrade all performance parts to level 3

free car marker

Firstly I’m not sure if the tokens you pick after winning or dominating a race day are randomly generated.
After I dominated the first race day into beating the Speed King I picked the middle token, which gave me a Free Car Marker. Which I obviously used on a Zonda, which I used to beat the Speed King, as you need it to beat the other Zonda’s you race. Another hint is to max out on repair and total repair markers as you may need them.

Fast drag time

I have gotten both the Toyota Supra and the Zonda down in around 7 seconds.
All with level 3 and some level 4 parts. First of all you will need to adjust a few settings.
Start off with the engine, follow my other hint to push your car up 100hp.
Then make the rear wheels with as much tread as possible with a large profile and hard suspension. Then drop the pressure below half way,(actually done with real race cars) now make the front tyres considerably smaller with a softer suspension so you can absorb the launch start, then change the direction of the front tyres to point inwards so it is harder to turn but better for the drag strip. Now gears are tricky, you want the gears sorted in an asending order with the 6th gear being the highest. You also what the drag spoiler fully extended. Adjust the NOS setting to be more explosive than lasting

As for the actual drag race you want to hit perfect launches all the way down, easier said than done but to beat 7 seconds you need to.
Around 2nd and 3rd gear hit NOS and that should take you through to 5th gear. The hard part is keeping your car in a straight line when you come down from the launch, which I have no real advice for.

Then pick your favourite track and your favourite side, as it does make a difference, and max out the burn out and then try and try

Beating Ryo Wantanabe

Part one: Performance and the right cars

If you have not done so, go to cheat entry (or whatever it's called) and have over $100,000. Now put in the words unlockallthings. Go to the car lot and find the Nissan GT-R PROTO (not the actual one) and have it set on speed challange. Get it up with performance parts on level 4. It will have the BHP on 1,052! Then get the Mitsubishi Lancer (new one) on grip mode. Do the same thing to the Lancer like you did before to the Nissan GT-R PROTO. It has a BHP of 889 (or more). Next a drag car. Get a car that has rear wheel drive (most likely, a Toyota Supra) and have it on level 4 performance. Lastly, a drift car. Get the Mazda RX-7 and do the same thing on the previous cars.

Part two: how to beat Ryo
The only way to beat Ryo is by totalling his Lancer on the Speed, Grip, and Top speed run.

P.S., If you are an experienced racer it should be easy. Enjoy!
