This is done by Player 1 highlighting Liu Kang and Player 2 highlighting Reptile. Player 1 then presses Start + Up.

Play Pong:
When you have reached your 250th battle and the battle is about to begin you will receive a message that you will enter another dimension. A Pong screen will appear and when you earn 7 points you will be able to continue the game.

No Throws Option:
This option is only available in 2 Player mode only. Before the match starts hold D + HP on both joysticks and if done correctly a message 'Throwing Disabled' will appear on screen.

Fight Jade:
At the match that is right before the '?' on the match chart you can fight Jade if one of the rounds has been won using only Low Kicks and the Directional Pad and another round was won normally. You fight Jade at 'Goro's Lair'.

Fight Smoke:
In 1 or 2 player at the 'Portal Stage' you can fight Smoke if Dan Forden appears at the bottom of the screen and yells 'Toasty!' and 'Down' and 'Start' are held at the same time when Dan Forden appears. You fight Smoke at 'Goro's Lair'.

Opponent Slides Off the Spikes:
When you are about to finish an opponent on the 'Kombat Tomb' stage do the character's stage fatality command and when the music starts hold 'Down' on player 1 and player 2's joystick until the opponent starts to slide off the spikes.
