In the final battle, if you continually move backwards, retreating from Kahn, he will taunt or throw projectiles at you. This leaves him open for your attacks. You can teleport in behind him before retreating once again. If you keep retreating after each attack, you should lose very little health.
In Challenge #265, while throwing Stryker's grenades into the bucket, retry before the end of the challenge. You get 50 koins for each grenade, and if you retry, it saves your koins from before - so this is an easy way to grind some money.
At the Versus screen while playing the PS3 version of the game, player one should enter the first 3 digits, while player two must enter the last 3.

When you are about half way down the wall next to the Hollow of Infestation press Triangle to access the Krypt map. Then, exit the map by holding Circle and you will see 'SEC2' appear at the bottom of your screen. Press X to purchase it and you will receive 5,000 Koins.
To execute a Babality against the followig bosses you must complete the corresponding requirements.
Shao Khan:
Select the Medium or higher difficulty setting. Do not lose any matches (you can lose individual rounds, but you cannot continue). Perform a Babality on ALL opponents along the ladder, including Shang Tsung and Goro or Kintaro. Do not block during the last round of the fight with Shao Khan. When you win the match the Babality will execute automatically.
Goro or Kintaro:
Select the Medium or higher difficulty setting. Do not lose any matches (you can lose individual rounds, but you cannot continue). Perform a Babality on Shang Tsung. Do not block during the last round of the fight with Goro or Kintaro. When you win the match the Babality will execute automatically.
Remain idle for about 20 minutes at the Krypt and a demon-like creature will appear on screen and howl. You will also hear this creature scurry around behind you.
Press X when unlocking anything in the Krypt to skip the animation. This will also make browsing much faster.
In Arcade mode when you are fighting in 'The Living Forest' stage press Down + Select repeatedly when you see Smoke appear from behind one of the trees. Classic Smoke will then challenge you and you will earn the 'Hide And Seek' Trophy. You will be awarded 2,000 coins for defeating him.

Press 'Start' when selecting a stage in Versus mode (you will hear Shao Kahn laugh) to have the stage soundtrack replaced with a song from one of the previous Mortal Kombat titles. The following stages do not have alternate music: The Courtyard (Night), Desert, The Flesh Pits, Hell, Rooftop (Dusk), Shao Kahn's Throne Room, Shang Tsung's Gardens, Shang Tsung's Gardens (Night) and The Bell Tower.
At the 'Character' selection screen in Ladder mode select a character and hold 'Select' when choosing a difficulty setting. The will make the game default to include Goro instead of Kintaro in the boss fight.
Highlight a character and press 'Start'. Then press X for the original Arcade version colour scheme and press 'Start' again for the alternate colour scheme.
