There are 62 Dead Ghosts in total and when you have collected 50 of them you will earn he 'Ghost Hunter' Trophy. Dead Ghosts are saved automatically when you collect them and they will increase your Grimoire score. Dead Ghosts can be collected at any time in Free Roam mode or during story missions. The final Dead Ghost which is found in he Tower can only be obtained during Iron Banner events which are hosted by Bungie every couple of weeks.
