Silencers hints and tips for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2

Ok most of you probably know this but:

Silencers do NOT reduce range as all weapons except shotguns have infinite range.

They reduce the speed at which your bullet will have it's damage decreased.

So on your UMP it's minimal damage is 35 at long range. With a silencer it's damage will reduce faster so you may be doing 35 damage at mid range instead.

Except for snipers

Their base damage is reduced to 50.

So without Stopping Power they can only OHKO with a headshot.

Shotgun range is reduced
