[Intro]1. Introduction
===============================================================================

Hello, I wrote this FAQ a year ago after this game released. Ok, this FAQ will
cover anything in General Manager Mode. They may be superstars, storyline
writers and so on.

===============================================================================
[How]2. How to access General Manager Mode
===============================================================================

Firstly, connect all attachments of the PS2 to their corressponding extension.
Press the blue button to open on where you will place your game. Then place the
SmackDown! vs RAW 2007 CD in there. Then close it and turn on the game by
pressing the green button. Wait for about 1 minute then press start. Skip the
THQ thing by pressing START button. So you do not need to wait for about 1
minute until you see a mini-clip of either SmackDown! or RAW. When something
like this appears "Press Start Button", press it then quickly highlight Game
Modes. Press X Scroll for General Manager Mode then press X again. Choose "New"
if it is your first General Manager Mode game. Choose "Continue" if you have a
saved game from this mode. I will explain the rest later.

===============================================================================
[Version]3. Version History
===============================================================================

Version 1.0 - March 31 2008
= Submitted the FAQ.

Version 1.1 - April 3 2008
= Added some new sections.

Version 1.2 - Jan 12 2009
= More than 9 months after the very last update, I am back again with a very
big update. The usual margin of 76 was now 80. So many bugs and corrections
fixed. BIg update on "Parts of General Manager Mode".

===============================================================================

===============================================================================
[Parts]5. Parts of General Manager Mode
===============================================================================

First of all, these parts that I am talking about is the options when you
either load or start a new General Manager Mode. Second, I will explain their
functions as we step further.

A. Schedule - this is where you will set-up matches week by week. This is also
where you can see your previous weeks that are done. For your first week, you
should make it a bit interesting. Put up specialty matches like TLC, Table,
Ladder and so on. Check back regularly to see if your matches should be
arranged.

B. E-Mail - This is where emails are stored when somebody e-mails you. People
who are e-mailing you are as follows:

1. Vince McMahon - He is just reminding you of what to expect at the next PPV.
Mostly, PPVs that are Joint PPVs. If we say Joint PPVs, it means that both
brands will be on the same PPV. Having your brand's superstar defeat the rival
brand's superstar is crucial to get the GM of the Year award at the end of the
year.

2. Brand's Commentator - E-mails that you received from one of your brand's
commentators are very useful advices. They help you obtain the GM of the Year
Award in an easier way, useful way or in an advantageous way. Whatever brand
you pick, you will end up with the specified commentator as follows:

SmackDown! - Michael Cole
RAW - Jim Ross

3. Your own Superstars - They only e-mail you for certain reasons like losing
matches every week ( -6 losing streak ), contract expiry or title shot demands
(a month overdue for a title shot).

4. Rival Brand's GM - Haven't you noticed that your rival GM only e-mails you
when you proposed a trade between the both of you? What you get from him is the
response to your proposal. Whether he accepts your proposal or rejects it, it
also appears on your e-mail.

C. Rosters - Here is where you are in charged of your brand's roster. This
section has everything it has to do with the roster including viewing your
brand's roster, current champions and managing rivalries.

1. View Roster - You can look at your current superstars along with their
morale, popularity, fatigue, contract remaining and injury (only applies if
the superstar or diva has an injury)

2. Current Champions - View your brand's champions. To change the current
champion with a new champion, there are 4 ways :

  Trade them to your rival GM, With the champion on the rival gm, you can now
appoint one in your roster who DOES NOT yet hold a title.

  Put their title on the line. Let any of the contenders win the match and the
title is theirs along with their victory.

  If your superstar is injured for 6 weeks and above, you will be given an
option to either vacate the title and appoint a new champion or simply don't.

  The champion himself (or herself) transferred to the opposite brand because
of his/her morale. The common reason why they most likely transfer is that they
had a bad losing streak on the show. This happens when the he/she loses for
more than 6 matches. It appears as negative integers like -6, -7, -8 on the
"Matches Loss".

3. Rivalries - Here is where you can organize and set-up rivalries. In order
for you to know how rivalries can be formed, consult the [All]All Roster
section. Find the Notice. Then formed one rivalry. I would recommend setting up
rivalries that have high popularity with a 5-star storyline. For example :

Bobby Lashley - C ( 76 )
Booker T - D ( 75 )
Chris Benoit - C ( 75 )
Ken Kennedy - D ( 74 )

The letter next to the superstar is their match tactic. While the numbers
inside the parenthesis are their current popularity. If you square off Bobby
Lashley and Booker T in a 5-star storyline rivalry, ( e.g Undisputed Champion
and so on )you will get good ratings or match ratings per week.

* Do remember that you get good match ratings every week when the popularity of
each superstar involved in the rivalry doesn't have a big gap. Let's say your
rivalry with Bobby Lashley and Booker T was 20 weeks. Bobby Lashley has a
current popularity of 88 while Booker T has a popularity of 70. The outcome of
the match ratings would'nt be satisfying as the big gap of popularity of both
superstars interfere with the match ratings.

4. Propose Trade - Go here if you wanna trade with the opposing GM. If you did
not yet unlock Cost and Trade under Options that will be later explained, then
your rival GM will be picky. Trading him your superstar whose popularity is at
least 1 point higher than your rival GM, the rival GM will take your superstar
irregardless if its a CLEAN or DIRTY superstar. You have up to 3 slots when
proposing a trade to your rival GM.

5. Free Agency - This is a list of superstars, divas or legends that are not
either signed by both brands (RAW or SmackDown!). If you have at least 19
superstars, you can sign one more to complete 20 superstars for each brand.
If you are thinking of signing a legend, think before you do so. If you have
the money, sign the legend a 3-month contract with your show. Oh yeah, you
should know what match tactic they have. The game does not show the match
tactic of the superstar you are signing.

6. Storyline Writers - This is where you get your storyline that can be used in
rivalries. You have a free of 6 storylines that you can use. Read each
description, on how to form the rivalry and what kind of superstars will be
involved in that rivalry.

7. Customize Attributes - This is an interesting part. You can edit the current
attributes of the superstars that are in both brands and superstars in the Free
Agency list.

8. Edit Available Roster - This edits the roster that will affect the Free
Agency List. If you turn them on, they will appear the next week after you turn
them on. If you turn them off, they will quickly disappear from the Free Agency
List. So think wisely.

D. Reports - You can view useful information here like fan supports etc. I will
explain them.

===============================================================================
[CL]6. Clean Superstars' Specialty
===============================================================================

Clean = These are superstars who are "good" wrestlers and they never cheat
while wrestling. To perform a CLEAN move, you must first have at least 1
finisher stored and a finisher that is flashing then press L1+L2 at the same
time when your opponent is stunned by a strike. Please note that you must be in
the correct finishing move situation in order for this to work.

===============================================================================
[DI]7. Dirty Superstars' Specialty
===============================================================================

Dirty = There are superstars who are bad wrestlers as they try to cheat to win
the match. To perform a DIRTY move, you must first have at least 1 finisher
stored and a finisher that is flashing then press L1+L2 at the same time when
your opponent is stunned by a strike. Your DIRTY superstar will use a special
dirty move. Here is a list of DIRTY moves your superstar performs when his or
her match tactic for the match is DIRTY only :

A. Your DIRTY superstar will poke your opponent then he/she will do a Double
Arm DDT similar to Mick Foley's Double Arm DDT finisher.

B. Your DIRTY superstar will back off and will kneel then do the super low blow
on the targeted superstar.

C. Your DIRTY superstar will back off but this time, he or she will kick the
targeted superstar to the groin.
