(^_^) - I do not have the time due to work or personal activities - I may be playing the game... In other words, please do not expect to receive a reply from me. If you need help urgently, feel free to visit the message boards at GameFAQs. There are better players than me. They will be able to solve your doubts. But still, I will try my best to answer e-mails if I could. They are the fundamentals of playing WWE SVR. The controls are set to Type A. For Type B information, please refer to your manual. [] _____________________________ _ _ _ /||\ |_____________________________|[_][_][_] /\ CLEAN |______________________________| (Sorry for the bad ascii art, as it has been a year since I have made a FAQ) 2.2.1 Damage Indicator The human body refers the damage indicator. There are a total of 4 colour zones - blue, yellow, orange, red. Blue refers no injuries while red represents severe damage. Thus: Blue --> Yellow --> Orange --> Red (No damage) (Light) (Average) (Heavy) There is significant meaning to the damage indicator. To enable to use of the character's finisher, it is logical to have the limb which the limb is applied on to be in the red zone so as to max out the damage. 2.2.2 Smackdown Finisher (SDF) Meter The bar on the top and the three slots represents the SmackDown Finisher (SDF) meter and icons. Once a SDF meter is filled up, you will gain 1 SDF icons. You can have a maximum of 3 SDF icons. To use a wrestler's finisher, you need set your opponent in the desired condition and must has a SDF icon. For the finisher conditions, please refer to each individual wrestler's moveset. To execute an opponent's finisher, you must have your opponent setup in his finisher condition and 2 Smackdown Finisher icons. Just hold down L2 button and hit L1 button to execute. 2.2.3 Popularity Gauge (Clean vs. Dirty) A wrestler can be classified as a hero ("Clean") or a heel ("Dirty"). Heroic characters uses moves that are legal and high risk manuveurs while dirty characters uses cheap shots, illegial moves and weapons on purpose. The gauges respones are depending on your wrestler's actions. Certain moves result the gauge to move up while others causes the gauge to decrease. However, once a gauge is maxed out, you can have bonus benefits as listed below:- Clean | Dirty ------------------------------------------------------------- - Becomes completely | - Unleash a super dirty attack invulnerable | that gives you advantage to - Perform extra damage on | the match finishers | - Automatic reversals | Once the gauge is full, just hit any direction on the right analog stick and there will be special taunt. They are:- 1) Super Heavyweight (e.g. Big Show, Undertaker) 2) Heavyweight (Triple H, Chris Benoit) 3) Light Heavyweight (Rey Mysterio, RVD) 4) Diva Weight (All the WWE Divas) 5) Ultra Heavyweight (Andre The Giant) There are certain wrestling moves that cannot be performed on the character of a higher class. For example, a Diva cannot suplex a heavyweight character and you will see the character having a backache and becomes temporarily groggy. Generally, the weight class principles can be summarised in the table below. -------------------------------------------------------- | UHW | SHW | HW | LHW | DW | -------------------|------|-------|------|-------|------| Ultra Heavyweight | O | O | O | O| O | Super Heavyweight | O | O | O | O | O | O - Ok! Note that the buttons are still applicable as long they still remain on the screen. =- Face Down Contest -= Place close to attention to the screen. Once the button appears on the screen, hit it! If not, you will be hit! Do not hit before it appears as it will result the opposition to block the attack. =- Shoving Battle -= This one is a shoving battle where you have the option of beginning it. Hit X to start the shove and you will see gauge meter (the same as Chop battle appears). This will last for three times. The last winner will shove down the opponent to the ground. 2.3.2 Chop Battle This is a new great feature added to Smackdown franchise. To enable this mode, you need to irish whip your opponent into a turnbuckle. Next hit down + O to enter into Chop Battle mode. If you make 3 successful chops, there is a meter boost for characters with "clean" setting. If you failed a chop, you will be subjected to receive a chop from the opponent. To execute a chop successfully, (read this before attempting it...) 1) Hit X to start the gauge. 2) Once the gauge hit the red zone, hit X (this determines the power of the chop) 3) The bar will move forward, wait for it to reach within the yellow zone, hit X again. 4) If you miss the yellow zone, you will miss the chop and it will be your opponent's turn to execute a chop. 2.3.3 Hold onto submission after rope break condition Once your opponent has reached the ropes while your wrestler applies a submission will result a "rope break". You can hold down L1 button to keep on holding on the hold. However after 5 counts and you still do not release the hold, it will result to an automatic disqualification for your wrestler. 2.3.4 Complain to referee after a 2 count Once you have pinned your opponent and he kicks out at the 2 count, you will be able to complain to the referee by holding the L1 button. Useful to boost your gauge if your character has a dirty setting. 2.3.5 Spanking Meter If you played the Bra and Panties after performing a grapple, hit Up + O and your Diva will position her opponent in a position for spanking. The meter works like the chop battle. Unlike other gauges, if you miss one, you will lose the hold and there is no countering. _______________________________________________________________________ 2.4 Lie, Cheat and Steal [SVR2004] _______________________________________________________________________ This section will explains the fundamentals when you intend to play dirty when you are being forced too... 2.4.1 Exposed a Turnbuckle You can remove the turnbuckle padding from each corner LEGALLY (^_^). To remove the turnbuckle padding, position your character facing the turnbuckle and D-Pad (towards turnbuckle) + Square button to remove the padding. Doing this does not result a DQ but it will made the crowd hate your wrestler. Thus any grapple moves performed at the exposed turnbuckle will result more hating. 2.4.2 Choke an opponent using the ropes This technique is vital in surviving handicap matches. First of all, it allows you to take a breather while your opponent will be at groggy status. First of all, exit the ring by using Triangle, Square and D-Pad towards the ropes. Once your opponent is near the ropes, hit Circle and your wrestler attempt pull the opposition legs and choke him or ignore him. For divas, they will be pulled down to the ground... 2.4.3. Weapons Weapons are hidden at underneath the ring and if it is a championship match, you can find a championship belt at the ringside. Chairs ___x___ | | Tables x| |x Sledge Hammer |_______| x Chairs To retrieve a weapon, you need to proceed to outside of the ring. Position your wrestler in the centre of the ring as shown by the "X"s in the diagram above. Hit Square and your wrestler will retrieve a weapon from it. Once with the weapon, here are the controls: X Strike enemy with the weaponn [] Pick Up/Drop the weapon O Throw the weapon Up/Down + X Performs a weapon grapple move L1 + (D-Pad) Perform a weapon finisher Please note that you will be disqualified automatically if you are spotted using the weapon. If you use the weapon directly at the referee is an automatic DQ. Hence you need to be smart... - First of all, throw your opponent out of the ring. - The referee will intiate the 10 count right? Use a knockdown running attack on the referee! (LOL) - This will work for a maximum of 2 times. Upon the third time, the referee will call for DQ regardless whether it is intentional or geninue. In short, do not attack the referee for more than 3 times. Damage deal by the weapons are stronger than your wrestling attacks thus use them wisely. Chair Down/Up + X (Jab to the stomach) Sledge Hammer Down/Up + X (Choke opponent with the sledgehammer) After striking for 4 times, the weapons will disappear. (yikes!) If it is a key item for a match (e.g. a ladder for the ladder match), the wrestler will still drop the weapon on the ground after 4 strikes. For more techniques regarding the tables and ladders, please refer to the tables and ladders match guides respectively. 2.4.4. Barriers, Ring Posts, Ring Steps The barriers, ring posts and steps can be use as your weapons legally! But you can't pick up the ring steps and use as a legal weapon ^_^) Ring Steps - To use them, first irish whip your opponent 45 degrees towards the side of the ring steps. The opponent will crash into the steps and you will be able to pick up the ring steps. Due to the heavy nature of the steps, your character's speed will be slower... There are only 2 ring steps in a match. Ring Posts - Same principle except you will focus on the post. So far I haven't been able to execute special attacks at the post. Need to do more research in this area. Barriers - Irish whip your opponent towards the barriers and you can attack them with strikes or use grapples moves on the barrier. You can perform a body slam with the opponent neck against the barrier, foot choke or punches. I supposed it differs from wrestler to wrestler. 2.4.5 Announcer's Tables You CANNOT find tables at the ringside when you choose Raw as the ring arena. You can find them during PPVs (Pay-per-views). To get your opponent onto an annoucer table, just irish whip them towards the table. Climb onto the table as you will do for turnbuckles. Perform a grapple move and you will be able to put your opponent through the table! _______________________________________________________________________ 2.5 Match Tutorials and Tips [SVR2025] _______________________________________________________________________ In SVR, there are many different types of matches such as ladder, steel cage, hell in a cell, elimination chamber, hardcore, backstage, first blood, bra and panties, etc. This section will offer you a basic guideline on these matches. Note: By default rules, KO has been disabled. Single ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Normal No Manager vs W/ Manager W/ Manager vs W/ Manager This is the most generic of all wrestling matches. You can win by pinfall, submission or countout. You *can* use weapons provided that the referee did not take notice of it. If you use a weapon or attack a referee for more than 3 times (provided that the first two times he did not get KO), you will earn a DQ. If there is a time limit set, when time expires it will be a draw automatically. Managers: Manager will be only available in the ringside. However they can enter the ring. If they interfere the match for too long, they can get expelled out of the ring by referee. However if your wrestler has a manager, you can make use of the left analog to control it: Left analog stick Up: Distract the referee Left analog stick Down: Get a weapon Please note that Paul Heyman is selectable as a manager. Once a manager argues with a referee for more than 3 times, he/she can be banned from ringside. Win Methods: Pinfall, Submission, DQ, Count Out or KO Tag ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Normal Tag Tornado Tag Tag vs Tag W/ Manager Tag W/ Manager vs Tag W/ Manager The difference between tag and tornado tag is the participation of your partner. In Tornado Tag, both team partners are out at the same. Below are the generic controls for a normal tag match: Square + D-Pad (partner) Tag for your partner Square (not legal man) Calls for tag Left analog stick Up Calls partner to attack illegial opponent Left analog stick Down Calls partner to attack legal opponent Left analog stick Left Calls manager to distract the referee Left analog stick Right Calls manager to get a weapon for you Tag Team Moves i) At the Turnbuckle To do these moves, make sure you irish whip your opponent to the corner where your partner. Perform a grapple move as you will normally do for turnbuckle grapple moves. Instead of excuting the normal grapple move, your player will tag in the partner to perform the tag move. ii) At the mat To do this, pummel your opponent to ground. Call for tag partner (left analog stick down). Wait for him to perform a grapple. Once you see this, perform a grapple on the opponent and you will do tag team moves. Make sure your character's target is focused on the opponent. The winning rules for tag team modes is the same as single matches. Make sure you are pinning the legal person ^_^: Win Methods: Pinfall, Submission, DQ, Count Out or KO 6-Man Tag ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Normal 6-Man Tag Tornado 6-Man Tag There isn't much difference between a normal tag match with a 6-man tag. Below are the generic controls for a normal 6-man tag match: Square + D-Pad (partner)- Tag for your partner Square (not legal man) - Calls for tag Left analog stick Up - Calls partner to attack illegial opponent Left analog stick Down - Calls partner to attack legal opponent Left analog stick Left - Calls 2nd partner to attack illegial opponent Left analog stick Right - Calls 2nd partner to attack legal opponent Please refer to Tag for more details. Win Methods: Pinfall, Submission, DQ, Count Out or KO Handicap ----------------------------------------------------------------------- One On Two One On Tag One On Three IMO, this is most difficult matches. The odds are against you. You can be midway in performing a move and got interrupted by a partner. The chances of winning these matches is low. Hence, you NEED to resolve to trickery and playing dirty. (Please refer to Section 2.4). The easiest method to win is probably via submission. Try to focus your attacks on the weakest link. Win Methods: Pinfall, Submission, DQ, or KO Hardcore ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Single Tornado Tag Tornado 6-Man Tag Triple Threat Tornado Tag Triple Threat Fatal 4-Way Hardcore matches are similar to normal matches except you will not get DQ for using weapons. Weapons can be found laying on the ground surrounding the ring. You can also get weapons found underneath the apron. Please refer section 2.4.3 for more details. It is quite sad to know that the types of weapons usable are very limited, you can only have steel chairs, tables, the sledgehammer and the ring steps to be used as your weapons. I consider Championship matches as a hardcore match as you can use the belts as a weapon. The belt will be found at the right hand side of the ringside area. You can compete in the backstage area or in the ring. There are a lot of cool stuff in the backstage area: - You can make use of the ramp door as weapon to attack your opponent - You can irish whip your opponent and smash him through TVs, barricades, etc - There are a couple of weapons - ladder, chair and a ring step - At the extreme left hand side, irish whip your opponent into the vending machine and a drink will pop out. Pick up the drink with the square button and your wrestler will gain a SDF! Win: Pinfall, Submission or KO Royal Rumble ----------------------------------------------------------------------- The Royal Rumble still remains as one of the most exciting matches in the wrestling world till today. You will be able to select your wrestler's position from #1 to #30. Game Rules (for SVR) 1. Contestant #1 and #2 will enter the rings 2. After 60 seconds, #3 wrestler will enter the ring. Followed by a 10-count which leads to the 4 wrestler. This will continue till you have 6 wrestlers 3. You can have a maximum of 6 wrestlers in the ring. 4. Once a wrestler is eliminated, a 10-count initiates and bring in the 7th wrestler. Till another wrestler is eliminated another 10 count will intiate. 5. The process will last until the 30th wrestler has entered the ring. - Ring Out Meter In replacing the Clean and Dirty Setting, you will have the ring out meter. The meter represent your wrestler's endurance to hang onto the ropes. Once it is zero, your wrestler is eliminated. You can refill the meter by eliminating opponents. - Eliminating via Ring Out To eliminate a wrestler, you must be positioned close to the ropes with your wrestler's back facing the rope. Just irish whip the opponent into the ropes and he will hang onto the ropes. In this situation you can use strike attacks or perform a pushing grapple (D-Pad + O) on the wrestler. Tap the buttons to eliminate the opponent. You can also has an ally to help you to eliminate the opponent by joining in the pushing grapple. The ringout will decelerate a faster rate and it is highly-likely that the wrestler will be eliminated. - Eliminating via Damage Indicator Damage indicator still counts in the Rumble. In fact, once any body indicator is red, you can just eliminate the opponent by just using the irish whip! (provided that your wrestler is close the ropes and back facing the ropes) - Eliminating via Weight Indicator This is a plus for super heavyweight wrestlers. They have the ability to throw opponent off the top ropes using an overhead powerslam instantly ignore the damage and ringout indicator. To get this situation, you must get your opponent into a groggy situation (the toe kick is extremely useful) and perform a signature grapple (left + O). Instead of locking up arms in a signature grapple, the wrestler will perform an overhead powerslam. With that, you can move closer to the ropes and hit O to throw your opponent off the top ropes thus eliminating him! You can only be stopped if a wrestler attacks your wrestler or attempts to grapple. That's why people says these guys are extremely useful to challenge the royal rumble! However, you can have a Light Heavyweight perform this move on a Diva weight character. -------------------------------------------------------- | UHW | SHW | HW | LHW | DW | -------------------|------|-------|------|-------|------| Ultra Heavyweight | O | O | O | O| O | Super Heavyweight | O | O | O | O | O | O - Ok! Heavyweight | X | O | O | O | O | X - Can't Light Heavyweight | X | X | O | O | O | Cruiseweight | X | X O | O | O | Diva weight | X | X | X | O | O | ___________________|______|_______|______|_______|______| Win: Be the last man standing in the ring after eliminating all other 30 Superstars. Survival ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Triple Threat Fatal Fourway 4-Men Battle Royal 5-Men Battle Royal 6-Men Battle Royal The match will be over once 1 WRESTLER has be covered by a pinfall of 3 count or submit. In other words, the first wrestler to score a pinfall or submission wins the match. There is no disqualification as all weapons are legal. Win: Pinfall, Submission, KO Main Events: 3 Stages of Hell ----------------------------------------------------------------------- This match allows you to have 3 consecutive matches of your choice against an opponent. Damage will be carried over to the next match with a lower damage rating. For example, if the damage is in yellow upon completion of the first match, you will start the second match with the damage rating in blue. The winner will be first one to score 2 victories out the possible 3 matches. If you win the first 2 matches, there will be no third match. Bra and Panties ----------------------------------------------------------------------- This match applies only female wrestlers. The objective is to strip your oppoonent down to her bra and panties. To remove garments, you need press Down + O. An indicator will appears and you just need to tap the buttons to push the ball towards your side. The match will end once you have remove both top and lower garments. Perform a grapple hold followed by Up + O, your Diva will position her opponent into a spanking position. You get to spank your opponents! Elimination Chamber ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Normal 6-Man Chamber Tornado 6-Man Tag Chamber The elimination chamber is one of the most brutal matches in history of the WWE. To win the match, you or your team need to be the last man standing in the match. For normal 6-man chamber 1) You can set your entry numbers from 1st to 6th. 2) The matches starts off with #1 and #2 with remaining 4 wrestlers lockup inside the "chambers" 3) After 60 seconds later, the 3rd wrestler will enter the ring. This will continue until the 6th wrestler. 4) You can eliminate opponents by pinfall or submission 5) Outlast all other 5 opponents and the last survivor to win the match! You can climb to the top of the chamber after you have climb to the top turnbuckle. Likewise you can climb directly from the cage. All wrestler will sustain damage upon being irish whip to outside the ring. You can irish whip opponents into the chamber, causing the glass to crack or have them face burst into the steel barrier. D-Pad + Square : Climbs the cage D-Pad + Square : Climbs to the top of chamber (from turnbuckle) D-Pad + X : Performs a diving attack off the top rope Elimination Tag ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Normal Tag Tornado Tag Captain Fall Tornado 6-Man Tag Normal 6-Man Tag Tornado 6-Man Tag Table Tornado Tag Table Tornado 6-Man Tag Normal Tag works like the classic survivor series. The first team to be pinned or tap out will lose the match. Normal Tag features tag team features along with an elimination element. The same principles apply to 6-Man Tag as well. Tornado Tag is similar to Normal Tag except both wrestlers are free to do what and not constraint to make tags. The match will end when both members of the opposing team is pinned or tap out. The same principles apply to 6-Man Tag as well. Captain Fall Tornado Tag is a 3-vs-3 match. The match will still continue until one of the team's captain is being pinned or tap out. For example if you select Evolution and has Triple H as your captain, your team will lose until Triple H is being pinned or he taps out. Table Tornado Tag (also applies for 6-Man tag) will result a member being eliminated once he is being "put through" the tables. You need to put all members of the opposing team to win the match. For some cool table analogy, please refer to the "Tables" section. First Blood ----------------------------------------------------------------------- The first person who bleeds will lose this match. To made an opponent moves, you must make of use of Blood moves (In the moveset, you will see "B" icon next to it) or weapon attacks. I recommend weapons as they are easier and faster to make your opponent to bleed. Hell in a Cell ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Single Tornado Tag Triple Threat Fatal 4-Way Armageddon Hell In A Cell IMO, this is the toughest match in WWE. It is a combination of Steel Cage with Survival rules. The first wrestler to score a pinfall or submission will wins the match. All weapons are legal in the match. There is a sledgehammer and chair at the ringside. You can perform special grapple moves at the edge of the cell. To perform a diving attack: You need to exit the cell. Hit Triangle at the door located at the lower lefthand corner of the cell. Your wrestler will open the door. To climb to the top of the cell, press D-Pad (towards the cell) and Triangle. From there you can perform a diving attack off the top of the cell. You will tend to miss a lot from that angle unless your opponent is thoroughly beat out and your wrestler will sustain heavy body damage. If your opponent is at the edge of the cell, you can perform a grapple move (downward thrusts for most wrestler or chokeslam for the Undertaker) with D-Pad + O. In short, the controls are summarised as below: /\ Opens the door D-Pad + /\ Climbs up the cell (outside the cell) D-Pad + X Performs a diving attack (on top of cell) D-Pad + O Performs a grapple (opponent at the edge of the cell) Win: Pinfall, Submission, KO Ironman ----------------------------------------------------------------------- You need to battle all out and the wrestler who scores the most pin falls at the end of the match wins the game. You can select a time limit ranging from 15 min, 30 min, 45 min to 60 min. Disqualifying yourself earns your opponent a point but gives you the advantage to the remaining time of the match. Win: Pinfall, Submission Ladder ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Single Tornado Tag Triple Threat Tornado Tag Triple Threat Fatal 4-Way IMO, a ladders is the best weapon due to its longest range. You can typically wipe apart anybody with a ladder. You can also perform a grapple move using a ladder! Ready Moves [] : Pick up the ladder [] : Sets up the ladder (once the ladder is in hands). You set on the ground or against the turnbuckle. O : Throws the ladder at opponent Up/Down + X : Strikes the opponent with ladder Left/Right + X : Throws opponent onto the ladder. Perform D-Pad + O to perform a grapple move on opponent on the ladder. Climbing the Ladder D-Pad + [] : Climbs the ladder D-Pad + X : Performs a diving attack off the ladder. O : Attempt to grab suspension object D-Pad + O : Performs a grapple off the top from the ladder (opponent must at the top of the ladder) D-Pad + X : Performs a strike attack at opponent (opponent must at the top of the ladder) If you choose to position the ladder against the turnbuckle, just irish whip your opponent into that turnbuckle and hit D-Pad + O to perfrom a grapple move on the ladder. Notice that at the center of the ring, there is a shadow right? That is the suspending object that you need to remove while on the top of the ladder. First of all, beat the hell out of your opponent and prefer that he is outside the ring. Set up the ladder. Upon reaching the top, hit O to attempt to reach for the belt. Once you grab it, start to mash your buttons (tap any buttons) to remove the object from the top. Please note that opponent can grab you and pull down from the top... Win: The objective is to remove the suspension object (it can be a briefcase or a belt). Last Man Standing ----------------------------------------------------------------------- The objective is to beat out your opponent till he will be counted out by the referee. To do this, you need to have one of the body indicator to be in bright red. You can use Blood moves or weapons (more smarter) to severely wounded your opponent. After perform a finisher/a power move (prefer something that does has an auto pinfall). The referee will starts to initiate the ten count. Upon counting to ten, you will win the battle Parking Lot Brawl ----------------------------------------------------------------------- The parking lot brawl features a brawl between wrestlers in a parking lot where your wrestlers are surrounded by vehicles. You can smash your opponent through windscreens or car boot, etc. To do this, just irish whip your opponent to a vehicle. Once the opponent is in a groggy state (a position that he would be in a turnbuckle), hit D-Pad + O to perform a devastating grapple. You can also climb to the top of vehicles (the brown limosine and the black 8-wheeler) and perform a devastating move off the top of the vehicle. Win: Pinfall, Submission or KO Slobber Knocker ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Time Limit Time Limit Ranking No Limit No Limit Ranking Your wrestler starts off with 3 SDF icons at the beginning. Your wrestler will battle opponent after opponent. This will last until your wrestler is being pinned/tap out/KO or time limit is up. You need to score over 15 victories to achieve 1st rank (for those who are challenging the slobber knocker challenge). Opponents can be eliminated by pinfall, KO or submission I have managed to accumulate 100 KO using the Rock before. (cheap tactics) It is advisible to store up your SDF meter by taunting after you have eliminated an opponent (prefer not too longwinded taunts like the spinaroonie...). Special Referee ----------------------------------------------------------------------- One Referee Single One Referee Normal Tag One Referee Ironman A special referee match is like a normal match except the referee is also a wrestler. You can also control the referee using the square button or even disrupt the match! Unlike previous Smackdown series, special referees do not wear the referee uniform... Steel Cage ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Single Tornado Tag Triple Threat Fatal 4-Way Single Pin & Give Up Triple Threat Pin & Give Up Fatal 4-Way Pin & Give Up For the 4 first variations, you can win the only by getting out the cage. For next 3 variations, you can win either by pinfall or submission. Due to the lack of space, some grapple holds will be subsituted with more generic moves. There is no disqualication in a cage match. D-Pad + []: Climbs the cage Down : Exit the cage (at the top of the cage) D-Pad + X : Performs a diving move (at the top of cage) R1 : Automatically dismount from the cage climbing To win a cage match is relatively easy. Just beat the hell of your opponents and exit when the opportunity arises. It seems funny that wrestlers climb slowly in cage matches while climbing extremely fast for Hell in a Cell... As for the last 3 variations, need to say? Submission ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Single Ultimate Submission This match can only be won via submission moves. All submission moves can force opponent to tap if the common moves like leg lock. The objective is hurt the opponent so that the limbs will be the red zone where you applied the submission move. Normally, you can access submission moves via the submission grapple (Down + O) Ultimate Submission is basically an iron match which can be won via submission only. Table ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Single Tornado Tag Triple Threat Fatal 4-Way Tornado 6-Man Tag Whenever people talk about tables in WWE, they will think of the Dudleys. The tables can be used as weapon but your wrestler will drop to the floor once you hit four times. The only interesting feature about tables is that once destroyed, you will find new tables outside the ring. The objective of the match is smashed your opponents through the tables. Controls [] : Picks up the table [] : Set up the table [when holding the table] D-Pad + /\ : Climbs up the table D-Pad + X : Strikes opponent with the table D-Pad + O : Performs grapple move [opponent at table] It can be done in 2 setup methods: 1) Ground Setup Set up the table. Irish whip your opponent to the table, your wrestler must be in between the table and opponent. Once the opponent is on the table, hit: - O, your wrestler will perform a grapple move or Climb to the top turnbuckle, perform a diving move (Down + X or Up + X) or finishers like Five Star Frog Splash, etc 2) Turnbuckle Setup Set up the table at the turnbuckle, by positioning your wrestler facing and moving towards the turnbuckle and hit Square. Irish whip your opponent into that corner. Perform a grapple move and viola! For tag matches, once a wrestler is being put through the tables, that wrestler's team will lose the match instantly. TLC ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Single Tornado Tag Triple Threat Fatal 4-Way TLC is basically the combination of Tables, Ladders and Chairs. You can win by pinfall or submission. See Tables and Ladders for more details on how use those weapons. 3.0 Season Mode ======================================================================== The season mode is a 1-player mode and you need to stick to the selected wrestler until you have completed the Season. You can recruit a Diva as your manager and you will be able to select DIVA option to bring her as your manager. Only 3 Divas are selectable as managers: Torrie, Sable & Stacy. By the time, Trish could join you it is already at the end of Wrestlemania XX i.e. end of the season. But she will be at your side as manager for certain matches... - Additional Notes 1) There is no Cruiseweight Championship, Women's Championship, World Tag/WWE Tag Championship for you to challenge for... 2) Kurt Angle, All WWE Legends (including locked ones), Divas, female CAWs are not usable for season mode. 3) The season will automatically ends upon you have reached Wrestlemania XX. 4) To remove a CAW from a Season Mode, you need to set the titles to default when you begin a new season. 5) Even you bring over the titles and Superstar points, you will still lose ALL Divas that you have acquired during the course of last season. ________________________________________________________________________ 3.3 Experience Points (Exp) & Smackdown! Dollars (SD) ________________________________________________________________________ For every match you play on the match card, upon winning, you will gain SD dollars (stated prior the match), experience points and superstar points. To qualify for a title shot, you must have earn a certain amount of Superstar points. Superstar Points will be added/ substracted depending on your action. You will earn more SD! dollars if you gain more Superstar Points. For the intercontential challenge storyline, there is a match where you can win for the 10,000 SD! dolars... ________________________________________________________________________ 3.4 Hero or Villian? ________________________________________________________________________ In the season, your characters can switch sides from a hero to a heel ("Clean" to "Dirty") as this depends on action that you choose. For example, after winning the Intercontential champion, you will get a cutscene of two possible contenders snatching the belt and you will be forced to make an option. If you choose to fight back for the belt, your character will switch from hero to heel if he is "Clean". Likewise when you choose to support Vince McMahon, your character will automatically convert it into a heel. Frankly speaking, playing as heel character is a lot more easier than a hero character as there are more advantages along with the support of the boss. ________________________________________________________________________ 3.5 Spoiler Free Link-of-Events Walkthrough ________________________________________________________________________ Unless you need help to reach a certain storyline, I suggest that you read the event walkthrough. This will bring the submission type 2 gauge which will look something like this Reversal Reversal ______|_______________|_____ |__()_||_____|___|____||_____| Current Status __/ | Escape Inside of the moving the ball towards a side, the move will move thro and fro from one side to the another. If you are caught in the hold, you need to hit X only when it reaches the boxes.
