All the bosses from beginning to the end of the game. Don't have much at all in terms of the Misc. Bosses, but I'll get to it in later versions! I'm open to suggestions! :) 8/28/06 (Version 1.08): Finally! An update! *Apologies* for long delay... Anyway, fixed a mistake I made when explaining the attack patterns in the battle against Enil. Also, a couple of added strategies for defeating Jeremy and Belial. 8/30/06 (Version 1.09): That was quick, wasn't it? I added in battle positioning for every boss in the "Main Enemies" section now. I noticed that I missed several positionings, so I came back now to add them in. Also, added a few websites that now have my permission to host my guide. =============================================================================== ******************************************************************************* *>>>>>> <<<<<<* *>>>>>>> 1) INTRODUCTION <<<<<<<* *>>>>>> <<<<<<* ******************************************************************************* =============================================================================== Hola everybody, and welcome to my Wild Arms 4 Boss FAQs! Well, this little introduction I say, I find too ordinary, but anyway... I'm specifically making this guide to help out anyone who needs help with any bosses in this game. Even though it's subjective to whether or not these bosses are hard or not, I'll be right here to help out with any difficulty that anybody has with these bosses. I'm also creating this guide for the new founding respect I've received for the Wild Arms series, which started last year when I decided to try out Wild Arms 3. That game definitely exceeded my expectations, and made me try out the next game in the series! The way I see it, this series is unique in its own way, and I've played many others such as Breath of Fire, Final Fantasy, Shining Force, Phantasy Star, Lunar, etc. Anyway, not only will I give you a strategy for the certain boss I'm talking about, but I'll also give you recommendations, and show you how to reach those recommendations no matter what they are. Now, before I get started, if you wish to use my FAQs on your website, or have any other questions, see the "Credits & Other Info" section of this FAQs. Anyway, without further ado, lets get it on! =============================================================================== ******************************************************************************* *>>>>>> <<<<<<* *>>>>>>> 2) BOSS FAQS <<<<<<<* *>>>>>> <<<<<<* ******************************************************************************* =============================================================================== Alright! we shall now begin getting started with the Boss FAQs. What I have below is the criteria I'm going to be using when I elaborate on the statistics of these bosses. I will have these bosses in chronological order according to the story, and if you're still looking for a certain boss, just hit "Ctrl + F" on your keyboard to be able to search for the boss you're looking for. Anyway, here's the format I'll be using: Name: Enemy's name. HP: Enemy's HP. Exp: The amount of experience points the enemy gives. Gella: The amount of Gella offered by this enemy. Attribute: The class, or natural statistic of the enemy. Elemental Weaknesses/Immunities: Resistant to (Fire/Water/Wind/Earth etc.), Absorbs (Fire/Water/Wind/Earth etc.), or weak at (Fire/Water/Wind/Earth etc.). You get the idea... right? Weaknesses: (if any) This could be a certain ability, or anything else it might be weak at. Stealable Items: What you can steal from this enemy (obviously), or what they might also be liable to drop. Difficulty: This could be somewhat subjective here, but it's pretty much for you to get the idea of how hard this enemy is/could be. It's also scaled out of 10 (ex: 4/10). Description/Comments: How the enemy looks, or any history is might have, as well as my comments on it. Strategy: How to beat this enemy for those of you who need the help. ******************************************************************************* *>>>>>> <<<<<<* *>>>>>>> 2.1) MAIN ENEMIES <<<<<<<* *>>>>>> <<<<<<* ******************************************************************************* Name: 4x Novice Trooper HP: 1100 (each) Exp: 5 (this might not matter though...) Gella: 10 Attribute: Nothing special Elemental Weaknesses/Immunities: Half Damage with Fire, Water, Wind and Earth Weaknesses: None Stealable Items: LVL Apple, Heal Berry, Potion Berry Difficulty: 2/10 Team: Jude, Arnaud Description/Comments: Here we go! This is the first intro to a boss that you will fight in Wild Arms 4! Well, these are just your typical soldiers that you'll see at the beginning of this game. This shouldn't be any trouble... or at least it better not be any trouble. Make sure you don't waste too much energy in this battle because this is just a mere warm-up of what's to come next. Strategy: Just look at the way these troopers are positioned, and you should know which hexes to attack. The best advise I can give you in this battle is to not get caught up in the middle of things if you know what I mean. In other words, avoid the center hex, and have Jude and Arnaud go their separate ways. This might cause two of the troops to walk inside the same hex, which could allow you to attack two troopers with one character, and since Jude and Arnaud are separated, they won't be attacking both of you with one trooper. Remember, Arnaud doesn't have the best accuracy in the game, so don't expect him to connect with every attack he does. So just keep fighting the troops and they'll go down pretty quick. Name: Land Gear HP: 6760 Exp: 30 Gella: 50 Attribute: Machine Elemental Weaknesses/Immunities: Half Damage with Fire, Water, Wind and Earth Weaknesses: Short Circuit Stealable Items: None Difficulty: 5/10 Team: Jude, Arnaud Description/Comments: Looks like Commander Tony himself wants to take things in his own hands! He's on a huge machine he likes to call the "Land Gear", which you should already know (look at the name), and isn't going to go so lightly on you. Don't get intimidated by the huge machine, his HP, nor the fact that he really packed a punch to Arnaud earlier. I hope the last battle didn't take too much from you! Strategy: What's this? Looks like you can now be able to use your original abilities. You should be able to understand what they are telling you about how to use your original abilities; however, they will tell you that standing on an elementally powered hex will let some of your abilities come together with that element. They might've told you that, but just because they told you about that, doesn't mean you should use it! Tony's Land Gear is 1/2 resistant to the four elements, and adding elemental properties to your magic won't do you much good. Anyway, it's time to start using Jude's new "hantom line" attack, which can shoot across two hexes in a straight direction and cause good damage. Once you start fighting, move Jude two spaces away from Tony, and have Arnaud stand in between Tony and Jude having him use his Blast spell. Arnaud's accuracy might have been pretty weak, but it's a different story with his evasion, so he'll start to dodge some of Tony's attacks while you're having Jude hit him with "hantom line". If you don't know what I mean by the way they're standing, just look below: ________ / \ / Land \ ________ / Gear \ ________ / \ \ | / / \ / \ \ v / / \ / \ \________/ / \ \ / \ / \ / ________ \ / \________/ / ^ \ \________/ / | \ ________ / Arnaud \ ________ / \ \ / / \ / \ \ / / \ / \ \________/ / \ \ / \ / \ / ________ \ / \________/ / ^ \ \________/ / | \ / Jude \ \ / \ / \________/ As you see, Arnaud's between the Land Gear and Jude; therefore, enabling Jude to be able to use attack him with his "hantom line", while the Land Gear's busy with Arnaud. If anybody gets in trouble, just switch and have Arnaud continue his Blast, or just use Heal Berries if you have any. This shouldn't be troubling, and Tony'll go down quick! Name: Tarasque HP: 7430 Exp: 55 Gella: 50 Attribute: Hard Elemental Weaknesses/Immunities: None Weaknesses: Smash Hit Stealable Items: LVL Apple, Antidote, Heal Berry Difficulty: 5.5/10 Team: Jude, Yulie, Arnaud, Raquel Description/Comments: Has the appearance of a huge hard-like monster that will look he he'd got a lot of iron in his attacks. However, you shouldn't worry too much about this factor in this battle, but rather what certain status condition he's using on you, which you'll find out. This is the first monster-type boss you fighting, and don't take this battle to lightly, nor overestimate it as well. Strategy: They'll give you a short tutorial on what to use in this battle, and I'll say that you should follow it. Here's how you'll be positioned: ________ / \ / \ ________ / \ ________ / \ \ / / \ / \ \ / / \ / Arnaud \ \________/ / Jude \ \ / \ / \ / ________ \ / \________/ / \ \________/ / \ ________ / Tarasque \ ________ / \ \ / / \ / \ \ / / \ / Raquel \ \________/ / Yulie \ \ / \ / \ / ________ \ / \________/ / \ \________/ / \ / \ \ / \ / \________/ This is the battle where Raquel comes to a good use (which she probably will in future battles) with her "Hard" penetrating attacks, and the ability to be able to do this twice! Anyway, once the battle starts, you can just have Jude use his "hantom line" ability when he goes, and then have Arnaud cast "Fragile", which you should already know, to lower his defense. Watch out for the poison Tarasque uses, if you get hit by poison in a hex without Arnaud in it, don't worry about it because you'll just waste your time if you try to move or cure it. However, if Arnaud is in that hex with one or more people, then have Arnaud use his "Jump" ability to move everyone who's in that hex to another one that's not poisoned. Have Yulie cast "Heal" on anyone who's critical on HP, or use her Material while NOT standing on an elemental hex to recover HP to everyone. Then when you have Raquel go, just use her "Intrude" ability to enable her to go twice, and either have her use "Comet Strike" (if you know it) or just attack. Just keep this strategy up, and Tarasque should go down without hesitation. Name: Powered Land Gear HP: 7020 Exp: 70 Gella: 60 Attribute: Machine Elemental Weaknesses/Immunities: Half Damage with Fire, Water, Wind and Earth Weaknesses: Short Circuit Stealable Items: None Difficulty: 6.5/10 Team: Jude, Yulie, Arnaud, Raquel Description/Comments: He's back, and this time he's out for a little revenge! Also, he's got a few reinforcements with him, but it's nothing that you can't handle... right? Tony's pretty much going to fight you the same way, but this time you've got more people on the field to worry about, but then again, you've got more people to help you. Just watch what you do, and keep the more sensitive people out of his reach if you can *cough*Yulie*cough*, but other than that, just go at him! Strategy: Once you begin, you'll be positioned like this in the battle field: ________ / \ / Powered \ ________ / Land \ ________ / \ \ Gear / / \ / Novice \ \ / / Novice \ / Trooper \ \________/ / Trooper \ \ / \ / \ / ________ \ / \________/ / \ \________/ / Novice \ ________ / Trooper \ ________ / \ \ / / \ / Jude \ \ / / Yulie \ / & \ \________/ / & \ \ Arnaud / \ Raquel / \ / ________ \ / \________/ / \ \________/ / \ / \ \ / \ / \________/ Anyway, right when this battle starts, make sure you eliminate his little novice soldier reinforcements, which shouldn't be too hard... well, even after Raquel punked them at the bar. However, when it's Arnaud's turn, even if you still have some soldiers out on the field, have him cast "Slow down", which you BETTER know before this battle (if you don't... this battle might be a little harder for you), and make sure you aim for Tony (The Powered Land Gear), so that he won't repeatedly make attacks on you to get you in trouble. If anyone starts to get in trouble, have Yulie cast "Heal" or "Protect" on him/her/them and also remember to watch out for her as well. On the offense, have Jude use his "hantom line", Raquel use her "Intrude" with the combination of "Comet Strike", and Arnaud cast "Blast" when he can as well as Yulie using her "Material" ability on an elemental hex (which I might not recommend since Tony's half resistant to all of the 4 elements). If Tony moves hexes or the "Slow down" spell expires, have Arnaud cast it again on him preventing Tony from balistically attacking you! Just don't make any stupid mistakes, keep at it, and Tony will go down... again! Name: Earthbound Spirit HP: 10350 Exp: 80 Gella: 70 Attribute: Undead Elemental Weaknesses/Immunities: Half Damage with Water, Wind and Earth Weaknesses: Holy Power Stealable Items: Prism Staff, Heal Berry, Potion Berry Difficulty: 6/10 Team: Jude, Yulie, Arnaud, Raquel Description/Comments: Well, don't ask me whether this one was the elder of the town, or one of the military officers back then. Anyway, this is obviously an undead spirit that you're going to have to deal with, and there is only one character that can cast a spell to do good damage on the undead. Meh, there's something about these undead enemies that also make them weak at Fire was well, this one isn't, but it's also not resistant to Fire. Strategy: Right at the start of the battle, This is how you'll be once again, positioned on the field: ________ / \ /Earthbound\ ________ / Spirit \ ________ / \ \ / / \ / \ \ / / \ / \ \________/ / \ \ / \ / \ / ________ \ / \________/ / \ \________/ / \ ________ / \ ________ / \ \ / / \ / \ \ / / \ / Arnaud \ \________/ / Yulie \ \ / \ / \ / ________ \ / \________/ / \ \________/ / Jude \ / & \ \ Rauqel / \ / \________/ You'll be told that Yulie's "Sanctify" spell can do really good damage on this boss. This is decent advise since you'll now be using Yulie offensively with her magic other than her "Material" ability. Now, when you start the actual battle, have Jude just use his "hantom line" ability when he can, and then have Arnaud cast "Slow Down" so you won't have to deal with this spirit's multiple turns. Again, if this boss leaves the hex that is effected with "Slow Down" or the spell wears off, just have Arnaud use it again. When it's Raquel's turn to go, just have her use her "Intrude" ability with "Comet Strike(s)", or if she can't reach, just have her use her old "Move & Attack" ability. When you think about it, you really won't be using Yulie that much on the offense, but if you're in critical condition, just have Yulie cast "Heal" (or "Protect") on whoever's hurt, or have her use her "Material" ability while you're NOT on a elemental hex. If Arnaud doesn't need to cast "Slow Down" when it's his turn, just have him cast "Blast" on a plain or Fire hex. Just keep up with this strategy, and you'll be just fine, and be able to win this fight! Name: Jeremy (1st) HP: 9800 Exp: 90 Gella: 80 Attribute: Nothing special Elemental Weaknesses/Immunities: None Weaknesses: None Stealable Items: Potion Berry(s) Difficulty: 6.5/10 Team: Jude, Yulie, Arnaud, Raquel Description/Comments: Alright, here we go! The first fight against a higher member of the Brionac Forces! Don't get scared, he's not really as tough as he looks the first time you fight him, but also not to be taken lightly. As you might already know, Jeremy doesn't usually follow the orders of the Brionac Forces, so you'll be fighting one of the hardcore members. I'm not saying that to try to scare you, just giving you a little background rehash of what you're up against. Strategy: Just look at the way you'll be positioned in this fight: ________ / \ / \ ________ / Jeremy \ ________ / \ \ / / \ / \ \ / / \ / \ \________/ / \ \ / \ / \ / ________ \ / \________/ / \ \________/ / \ ________ / \ ________ / \ \ / / \ / \ \ / / \ / Raquel \ \________/ / Jude \ \ / \ / \ / ________ \ / \________/ / \ \________/ / Arnaud \ / & \ \ Yulie / \ / \________/ (Time-Out) I'll tell you this right now, this positioning is a good start in any boss battle. Just notice how Yulie & Arnaud are in the same hex, and how Raquel and Jude are in their own hex right next to Yulie & Arnaud's. This means you can have Yulie use "Protect" on her hex to protect both her and Arnaud since their physical defense is quite low. Also, if the enemy intends to use magic, you won't have to worry about Yulie and Arnaud getting hit since they're resistant to magic, but rather Jude or Raquel. With Jude and Raquel in separate hexes, you'll only worry about recovering one person rather than more, and also, when you charge the enemy with these two, this'll also create two alternate targets for the enemy to attack in which Jude or Raquel will be attacked physically just based on probability. Since Jude and Raquel are your two best physically defensive characters as well as offensively, this will create trouble for your enemy. Anyway, thats just some good tips about this type of position in a battle... (Time-in!) Now, Jeremy's attack with that chain gun looking ARM of his is pretty decent, however; that's not what you are going to be worried about in this fight, but rather his Missile attack that he will use on you which can take about 1000 or more on the targeted hex. He's also not really slow in this battle, but you should know what to do with response to this. Anyway, once you begin this battle, just have Jude do the usual with his "hantom line" attack, and right when Arnaud goes, cast "Slow Down" with him to be able to reduce the amount of times Jeremy goes. Then, just proceed to either cast "Slow Down" again after it wears off or if Jeremy moves to another hex, and when you don't need to cast "Slow Down", just cast "Blast" to do some damage to him. I'll recommend you have Yulie on the defense in this battle, and have her use "Protect","Heal", or "Material" on a plain hex. With Raquel... well, I might find myself repeating here with her, but use "Intrude" with the "Comet Strike(s)" combo to do some good damage. While you're fighting, you might want to be on the lookout for Yulie and Arnaud getting hit by Jeremy's Missile attack, if this happens and one of them gets KO'ed, just be ready to use some items, or if Yulie's still alive, just have her cast "Revive" to get him/her back on their feet. One you charge at Jeremy enough, he'll go down for this battle. Name: Miscreation HP: 10500 Exp: 120 Gella: 100 Attribute: Nothing special Elemental Weaknesses/Immunities: None Weaknesses: None Stealable Items: None Difficulty: 7/10 Team: Jude, Yulie, Arnaud, Raquel Description/Comments: Looks like they failed their little experimentation they had there, and guess what...? You're the ones who are going to have to pay for it! This boss looks like some kind of Zombie with a weird body or so, but it's not undead, so don't treat it as if it were. Strategy: Right at the beginning of battle, you'll be again, positioned to do some destruction :) ________ / \ / \ ________ / Miscreation\ ________ / \ \ / / \ / \ \ / / \ / \ \________/ / \ \ / \ / \ / ________ \ / \________/ / \ \________/ / \ ________ / \ ________ / \ \ / / \ / \ \ / / \ / Raquel \ \________/ / Jude \ \ / \ / \ / ________ \ / \________/ / \ \________/ / Arnaud \ / & \ \ Yulie / \ / \________/ Just start off as you normally would with Jude using his "hantom line" attack, and Arnaud casting "Slow Down" on Miscreation to shake off some frustration. Miscreation will use s "Earth-based" attack on you, which you shouldn't have any problem with using Yulie, or Arnaud for that matter. However, this time you gotta watch Jude and Raquel when they get attacked by that attack. It would be best if you were to keep Jude and Raquel on separate hexes, and attacking from different directions. Here's what I'm trying to say: ________ / \ / \ ________ / Miscreation\ ________ / \ \ / / \ / \ \ / / \ / Raquel \ \________/ / Jude \ \ / \ / \ / ________ \ / \________/ / \ \________/ / \ ________ / \ ________ / \ \ / / \ / \ \ / / \ / \ \________/ / \ \ / \ / \ / ________ \ / \________/ / \ \________/ / Arnaud \ / & \ \ Yulie / \ / \________/ That way, if Miscreation uses that "Stone" attack on Jude or Raquel, you'll only have to worry about one person to heal, or save. Also, Miscreation will be using "Poison-based" attacks on the hexes, and if Yulie and Arnaud get that effect on their hex, just have Arnaud use his "Jump" ability to move to another hex. Have Yuile on defense as usual with her recovery magic, and have Raquel strike the Miscreation with her double-action "Intrude and Comet Strike" abilities, and Jude attacking with "hantom line" from the other side. Also, have Aruaud cast "Blast" just for more offense, or reload "Slow Down" on Miscreation. After a good fight, Miscreation should be taken out, and dealt with by you! Name: Jeremy (2nd) HP: 11000 Exp: 160 Gella: 120 Attribute: Nothing special Elemental Weaknesses/Immunities: None Weaknesses: None Stealable Items: Potion Berry(s) Difficulty: 7/10 Team: Jude, Yulie, Arnaud, Raquel Description/Comments: Well, for the most of you that thought he was dead... looks like you were wrong! Well, it might not be too complex to think of a way of how he survived, but then again... you know how the Wild Arms series is about this kinda of plot. Anyway, Jeremy's back, and he doesn't look too happy at all about your last confrontation with him, and he's back for vengeance as well as a new trick up his sleeve! Strategy: You'll be positioned the same way as the first time you fought him, except Jude and Raquel are switched. Does this really matter? I think not... ________ / \ / \ ________ / Jeremy \ ________ / \ \ / / \ / \ \ / / \ / \ \________/ / \ \ / \ / \ / ________ \ / \________/ / \ \________/ / \ ________ / \ ________ / \ \ / / \ / \ \ / / \ / Jude \ \________/ / Raquel \ \ / \ / \ / ________ \ / \________/ / \ \________/ / Arnaud \ / & \ \ Yulie / \ / \________/ Once you begin battle, you'll be introduced to Jeremy's new ability, "Inertial Canceller". This will rise up the suspicion of when Jeremy will decide to go, but don't try to sweat it too much, he normally won't abuse this ability. Also, before getting into battle with Jeremy again, you should by this time have special "Joint attacks" with at least 2 of your party members combining their powers, and performing a special attack. If you don't have at least one of these, make sure you start again (hopefully you saved before the fight) from the save point, get into some random encounters, and experiment with your characters until you acquire one (Preferably "Sorcery Grenade"). Anyway, make sure you start off the battle with Arnaud casting "Slow Down" to prevent Jeremy from abusing "Inertial Canceller" or his own turns by that matter. Then, Have Jude use his usual "hantom line" or if you have many people in one hex right next to Jeremy, use "Joint Struggle", but I doubt you'll run into that situation in this battle. Have Yulie go on defense with her recovery magic, since Jeremy will be using his missile attack again. Have Raquel use her "Intrude" ability with the "Comet Strike(s)" combination, and have Arnaud cast "Blast: when he can to also do some damage. Now, after a while, Yulie should have a lot of FP... with this, you can be able to use "Sorcery Grenade" to do some good damage on Jeremy. Now, Jeremy will again fall at the hands of you after all the damage done to him! "The following strategy was sent by Tsukiyo Sousuke": When you begin this battle, have Raquel use her "Poison Bite" technique when she gets the chance to go. This will poison Jeremy's HEX, and since he has "Inertial Canceller", it will make him go down even faster for an easy win! However, still be aware of the precautions I went over with you in the above strategy. Name: Incubator HP: 11000 Exp: 200 Gella: 180 Attribute: Nothing special Elemental Weaknesses/Immunities: None Weaknesses: None Stealable Items: None Difficulty: 8/10 Description/Comments: Looks like it's time to fight another one of those... things, I guess. This is a very odd biological monster that won't really go too easy on you, especially with a very active reproductive system unfortunately. This will be a battle where you should avoid doing any stupid mistakes, because this can go from a fairly decent battle to an overwhelming nightmare! I'd recommend you save before fighting this boss... whenever you get the chance to. Team: Jude, Yulie, Arnaud, Raquel Strategy: Right when you start this battle, you'll be positioned in this way: ________ / \ / \ ________ / Incubator \ ________ / \ \ / / \ / \ \ / / \ / \ \________/ / \ \ / \ / \ / ________ \ / \________/ / \ \________/ / \ ________ / \ ________ / \ \ / / \ / \ \ / / \ / \ \________/ / \ \ / \ / \ / ________ \ / \________/ / \ \________/ / \ / Team \ \ / \ / \________/ You'll all be in the same hex, which has its good and bad points; however, in a scenario like this, it'd be best to separate Jude and Raquel from Arnaud and Yulie since both Jude and Raquel can easily fall near death with the Incubator's "Stone Bullet" attack. The Incubator's speed is somewhat decent, so make sure you have Arnaud cast "Slow Down" on him once he gets the chance to go. Once Jude is able to make his move, move him to another hex, but make sure avoid moving to the wind elemental hex. Then, once Raquel gets to go, you can move her away as well, but not in the same hex Jude is in. If you're lost on what I'm saying, Here's what I mean: ________ / \ / \ ________ / Incubator \ ________ / \ \ (w/ larva / / \ / \ \ possibly)/ / \ / \ \________/ / \ \ / \ / \ / ________ \ / \________/ / \ \________/ / \ ________ / Jude \ ________ / \ \ / / \ / \ \ / / \ / Raquel \ \________/ / \ \ / \ / \ / ________ \ / \________/ / \ \________/ / Arnaud \ / & \ \ Yulie / \ / \________/ As you see, Raquel and Jude are in different hexes, and Jude is right in front of Incubator. Therefore, if Incubator goes, it might just attack Jude instead of using "Stone Bullet", but then again, this is only a possibility, but this stance can't really effect you much. If Jude gets in critical condition (or Raquel for that matter) have Yulie cast "Heal" on him/her, but if you're in decent condition, have her cast "Protect" on her hex so that both Yulie and Arnaud can be safe. Have Raquel make best attempts to either eliminate larvas, or go right after Incubator with "Intrude" and "Comet Strike(s)". Just have Arnaud use "Blast" when he goes, or reload "Slow Down" if it wears off, or Incubator moves hexes. When Jude goes, just keep using "hantom line" since he'll be the only one in his hex, and "Joint Struggle" won't have much of an effect. In this battle, I'll definitely recommend that you use Yulie ONLY for defense because you'll need her many times you get hit. Have everyone who's on the offense attempt to go after Incubator at all times, and only hit the larvas if necessary. Also, watch your characters' FP, and see when they'll be able to use a "Joint attack", or Dual Tech... or whatever you want to call it. By this time, you should have more than what you had if you've been experimenting out on the battle field with your characters. Once you are able to take down Incubator, but still have larvas out on the field, you'll continue fighting, but the larvas won't be much to take down. In this situation, it'd be best to get everyone back in the same hex, and use a "Lucky Card" just to boost your Exp. a little :). Then, once you destroy the larvas, you'll be victorious, and might earn many Exp. if you killed many larvas! Name: Scythe HP: 9000 Exp: 320 Gella: 240 Attribute: Nothing special (believe it or not...) Elemental Weaknesses/Immunities: None Weaknesses: None Stealable Items: Mega Berry(s) Difficulty: 5/10 Team: Jude, Yulie, Arnaud, Raquel Description/Comments: Looks like you're in for it this time! This is another elite of the Brionac Forces, and ontop of that, he's a Crimson Noble!... or at least he claims he is. This interesting boss has the appearance of a very happy, cheerful, self-confident vampire that looks like he was a "Star Player" in the war that took place... where have I heard a similar description at? Anyway, don't take this battle too heavy, just hurt him enough to where he will get his last laugh... Strategy: Once again, this is how you'll be positioned once you start the battle: ________ / \ / \ ________ / Scythe \ ________ / \ \ / / \ / \ \ / / \ / Box \ \________/ / Box \ \ / \ / \ / ________ \ / \________/ / \ \________/ / \ ________ / Box \ ________ / \ \ / / \ / \ \ / / \ / Raquel \ \________/ / Jude \ \ / \ / \ / ________ \ / \________/ / \ \________/ / Arnaud \ / & \ \ Yulie / \ / \________/ Don't let those boxes throw you off, you can just move into their hex with Jude's disarming trap ability. Anyway, just have Arnaud cast "Slow Down" when he's able to go, and then just pretty much go on the offense with Arnaud using "Blast", Raquel smashing boxes, and using "Intrude". Have Yulie cast "Protect" in her hex, and then be on the defense with her recovery magic. Scythe really won't do much except cast "Blast" on you, so you really don't need to worry about his offense. Just go at him, and he'll be taken him... but he'll have the last laugh at the end when he takes everyone down to 1 HP! (You won the battle anyway though!) Name: Belial (1st) HP: 9250 Exp: 360 Gella: 280 Attribute: Nothing special (Crimson Noble) Elemental Weaknesses/Immunities: None Weaknesses: None Stealable Items: Mega Berry(s) Difficulty: 7.5/10 Team: Jude, Yulie, Arnaud, Raquel Description/Comments: Looks like you've PO'ed her now! You just killed her boyfriend that claimed to be a Crimson Noble, but it appears that he wasn't. It was Belial all along... and now you'll have your hands possibly full dealing with a REAL Crimson Noble! She can really drag on this fight for a long time, but it's up to you to see who gets fatigued first! I hope you're at decent levels, because you're going to need many abilities to keep up with Belial. Strategy: Once you start this battle, you'll see Belial summon a magic ball to protect her, which will come as a big nuisance throughout the battle. Once you get to go, make sure you separate Jude and Raquel again to avoid any serious trouble. You'll be positioned like this: ________ / \ / Arnaud \ ________ / & \ ________ / \ \ Yulie / / \ / \ \ / / \ / \ \________/ / Jude \ \ / \ / \ / ________ \ / \________/ / \ \________/ / \ ________ / Raquel \ ________ / \ \ / / \ / \ \ / / \ / \ \________/ / \ \ / \ / \ / ________ \ / \________/ / \ \________/ / \ / Belial \ \ / \ / \________/ Once Yulie goes, have her cast "Protect" on her hex, or use "Heal" on anyone that is falling near death. When you have Arnaud go, cast "Slow Down" as usual to prevent Belial from constantly going. Raquel will play a key factor in this battle with her heavy attacks, and the ability to go twice. Have her attack Belial constantly so that you can quickly destroy that magical crimson ball that is protecting her. Have Jude use "hantom line" on her to also help either attacking her, or just destroying her protection. Once you destroy that magic ball protecting her, try to attack her as many times as you can before you re-summons that same ball to protect her all over again. Watch out for her "Agony Effect" attack which will really hurt Jude and Raquel, and her attack is pretty decent, but nowhere along the lines of "Agony Effect". The best strategy (or I at least thought) to use on Belial is to destroy the ball protecting her right after she makes her move, which enables you to have more time to damage her. Using "Joint attacks" in this battle is highly recommended when you get the chance to! Just keep up with Belial, and she'll eventually go down! "The following strategy was sent by Tsukiyo Sousuke": When Belial summons the magic ball to protect her, instead of attempting to take the ball down in whatever way, just use Raquel's "Poison Bite" technique to poison her HEX. Once this has been done, make sure Arnuad goes before Belial possibly attempts to move HEXes, and then have him use his "Shut Out" technique to lock Belial in! Once this is all done, just mainly worry about your defense, but keep going at her, and she'll be down in no time! :) Name: Belial (2nd) HP: 9900 Exp: 420 Gella: 300 Attribute: Nothing special (Crimson Noble) Elemental Weaknesses/Immunities: None Weaknesses: None Stealable Items: Mega Berry(s) Difficulty: 8/10 Team: Jude, Yulie, Arnaud, Raquel Description/Comments: Let's just hope you didn't use up too much energy in the last battle with her. She's back again, and she's not going to let you escape from that little world she put you in! Don't really except much difference in the way she fights, I'd say it's pretty much the same battle over again, but this time she's a bit tougher, and you've also go your own fatigue to worry about! Strategy: Here we go again, right? Just look above, and position yourselves like you did in the first battle with her. Have Arnaud cast "Slow Down" as usual, and use "Blast" when he gets a chance to. You'll really need Yulie to go on defense this battle with her recovery magic, and using "Protect" on her hex, as well as possibly using it on Jude's or Raquel's. You'll be just fine for the first several rounds if you go with the same strategy as you did up above, but you'll now run into the trouble of running out of MP. When this happens (which will be Raquel most likely running out first), just have her use her old fashioned attacks, and have Jude use his attack when he runs out. Don't worry about using "Ley Boost", this will only raise a few MP, which won't really be enough for Jude to keep using "hantom line" repeatedly. When your MP puts you in danger, this is the time where you'll really be needing the "Joint attacks" since that doesn't use any MP, but uses FP instead. If you get in serious trouble with HP, you can use Yulie to get yourself back on your feet or use Heal Berries with Jude's "Mystic" ability. This will be pretty long, but just keep at it, and you'll eventually take down Belial for good! "The following strategy was sent by Tsukiyo Sousuke": When Belial summons the magic ball to protect her, again, just like the first fight, instead of attempting to take the ball down in whatever way, just use Raquel's "Poison Bite" technique to poison her HEX. Once this has been done, make sure Arnuad goes before Belial possibly attempts to move HEXes, and then have him use his "Shut Out" technique to lock Belial in! Once this is all done, just mainly worry about your defense, but keep going at her, and she'll be down in no time! :) ^ Now, why didn't I think of that!? *Kudos* Name: Graboid HP: 20950 Exp: 840 Gella: 780 Attribute: Nothing special Elemental Weaknesses/Immunities: Resistant to Earth, and weak at Wind Weaknesses: None Stealable Items: None Difficulty: 7/10 Team: Jude, Yulie, Arnaud, Raquel Description/Comments: It's been a while, hasn't it? Well, you should now be much better trained, as well as better equipped. This is a pretty big dragon- like boss that is pretty intimidating, but just had only a couple of strong aspects. Don't sweat this battle too much, but then also don't take it too lightly. Strategy: Right when this battle starts, keep the usual separation between Jude and Raquel, and have Arnaud and Yulie stick together with the usual "Protect" effect in their hex. The couple of tough aspects I mentioned earlier about this dragon are that it has much HP, and also that it counter attacks with "Stone Bullet" almost every time it goes! So, when you attack this boss, make sure the attack is an excellent one. Watch out using Raquel's "Intrude" and "Comet Strike(s)" because she might go down due to Graboid's tough counterattacks. However, you can do this if you make sure you cast "Revive" with Yulie, right after Raquel gets taken down. "Joint attacks" are also good in this battle since you know they'll be doing a lot of damage. Have Yulie be on defense with her recovery magic as usual, or you can also get her to move to an either the fire or the water elemental hex, and use her "Material" command. Magic attacks as most recommended in this battle, and make sure your physical attacks are strong if you're planning on using them! This isn't all that hard of a battle as I might've made it seem, so you'll succeed if you just keep at it! Name: Kresnik HP: 9500 Exp: 300 Gella: 240 Attribute: Nothing special Elemental Weaknesses/Immunities: None Weaknesses: None Stealable Items: LVL Apple(s) Difficulty: 4.5/10 Team: Jude Description/Comments: Well, well, well, looks like you're going to have to deal Yulie's brother, Kresnik. Now, normally it'd be right to get along with the family members of the certain girl you like, but that's not the case here. Would you look at him... now I remember reading back at the lab that Kresnik wasn't a success when trying to make him a gene carrier, so what's going on? Anyway, this battle is actually quite short and easy, and not to mention that on these type of situations, it's smart to just mess around in a beneficial way, if you know what I mean! :) Strategy: One-on-one with the Armed one! This is how you will start out in this battle: ________ / \ / \ ________ / Kresnik \ ________ / \ \ / / \ / \ \ / / \ / \ \________/ / \ \ / \ / \ / ________ \ / \________/ / \ \________/ / \ ________ / \ ________ / \ \ / / \ / \ \ / / \ / \ \________/ / \ \ / \ / \ / ________ \ / \________/ / \ \________/ / \ / Jude \ \ / \ / \________/ Heh, luckily Jude should be slightly faster than Kresnik, and be able to make his move more often as well. When it's Jude's turn to go, just simply defend so that Kresnik's attack won't do much damage at all. Now, pay attention to the little turn indicator at the bottom of the screen, and when you see that Jude will be able to go twice, defend with the first turn, and then use "Phantom line" with the second one. You should get to be able to twice somewhat often, and if you're about to defeat him within the next time you go, just kill some time by either using a Lucky Card or Stealing a LVL Apple from him because you shouldn't be hurt very much if you correctly defended. Then, when you want to, just defeat him... thing is, he'll end up inevitably defeating you at the end. Name: Kraken HP: 24500 Exp: 1600 Gella: 1200 Attribute: Nothing special Elemental Weaknesses/Immunities: Absorbs Water Weaknesses: None Stealable Items: Muse Amulet(s) Difficulty: 5.5/10 Team: Jude, Yulie, Arnaud, Raquel Description/Comments: Don't you dare let the size of this beast intimidate you! Also, no, this isn't the same Kraken that guarded the Water Crystal, or the sea monster that invades your raft while you're on your way to Poca (Kudos to you if you get those two references)! This boss just has a decent amount of HP, likes to scatter your team everywhere, put you to sleep, and that's about it. The rest shouldn't be something you can't handle! Strategy: Just make sure you hit this boss hard with big HP damaging moves, so have Jude use "Phantom line" when he goes, or if you have 2 or more in the same hex he's in, use "Joint Struggle". You shouldn't worry about putting everybody in the same hex all the time in this battle, because this will only take some time away from you since Kraken has his way to scatter your team to different hexes. Also, Kraken's "Slumber Fog" attacks different hexes with the sleep effect, so if you want to make it semi-easier for you, you can equip badges that guard against sleep on your team. That was just optional, but if you're satisfied with the badges you're using, that's fine. Anyway, have Arnaud cast "Slow Down" as usual to lower the amount times he goes, and then use "Blast" with him as long as he's not on a Water hex! When Yulie goes, it'd be just best if you could have her use "Heal" or "Material" (depending on which hex she's on) rather than "Protect" since you'll get scatted into another hex more likely, that is, on whoever's needs it. When Raquel goes, have her use her "Intrude" ability along with 2 "Dragon Edge" attacks, and again, make sure you aren't on a Water hex! This will cause much damage, and also you can go for using "Joint attacks" when you can. You really shouldn't struggle much in this battle, just keep up your offense, and you'll have this battle in your hands! Name: Hugo HP: 11250 Exp: 2000 Gella: 1600 Attribute: Nothing special Elemental Weaknesses/Immunities: None Weaknesses: None Stealable Items: LVL Apple(s) Difficulty: 5.5/10 Team: Jude, Yulie, Arnaud, Raquel Description/Comments: Looks like you're going to have to deal with another one of Brionac's Elite fighters. Hugo's a very talented swordsmen with a special little ability that makes him all the more better. It's like Jude's, but actually goes more into the flow of time field, I mean, even Jude's ability failed against him. However, Raquel proved that he could be beaten (with some "impressive" sword-play that even widened my eyes... and that's hard to do when it comes to talented sword warriors). Anyway, just know a little trick when you fight Hugo, and this battle won't be much in terms of hesitation. Strategy: Right when the battle begins, Hugo's going to be really fast (why wouldn't he), and make his move. You'll be altogether in the same hex... well, just look at this: ________ / \ / \ ________ / Hugo \ ________ / \ \ / / \ / \ \ / / \ / \ \________/ / \ \ / \ / \ / ________ \ / \________/ / \ \________/ / \ ________ / \ ________ / \ \ / / \ / \ \ / / \ / \ \________/ / \ \ / \ / \ / ________ \ / \________/ / \ \________/ / \ / Team \ \ / \ / \________/ Right when you are able go, don't attempt to attack him in any way! He'll just move to another hex while you're performing your attack. If this happens to you, the game will explain to you what just happened, so don't think that the referees are screwing you like they sometimes do in the NFL, Pro Wrestling, etc. Anyway, this is where Jude's "dashing" ability can come to play (assuming you already know it), so the object of this little game is to corner Hugo, so that he won't be able to flee during your attacks. When getting ready to corner him, have Jude move to where ever you want him to, and then have the rest of your team corner him. These are examples of what I mean: 1) Right-down cornering ________ / \ / \ ________ / \ ________ / \ \ / / \ / \ \ / / \ / \ \________/ / Jude \ \ / \ / \ / ________ \ / \________/ / \ \________/ / \ ________ / Raquel \ ________ / \ \ / / \ / \ \ / / \ / Yulie \ \________/ / Hugo \ \ / \ / \ / ________ \ / \________/ / \ \________/ / \ / Arnaud \ \ / \ / \________/ 2) Bottom cornering ________ / \ / \ ________ / Yulie \ ________ / \ \ / / \ / \ \ / / \ / \ \________/ / \ \ / \ / \ / ________ \ / \________/ / \ \________/ / \ ________ / Raquel \ ________ / \ \ / / \ / \ \ / / \ / Arnaud \ \________/ / Jude \ \ / \ / \ / ________ \ / \________/ / \ \________/ / \ / Hugo \ \ / \ / \________/ 3) Left-up cornering ________ / \ / \ ________ / Jude \ ________ / \ \ / / \ / \ \ / / \ / Hugo \ \________/ / \ \ / \ / \ / ________ \ / \________/ / \ \________/ / \ ________ / Raquel \ ________ / \ \ / / \ / Arnaud \ \ / / \ / & \ \________/ / \ \ Yulie / \ / \ / ________ \ / \________/ / \ \________/ / \ / \ \ / \ / \________/ By looking at these examples, you should know how to corner Hugo, which isn't all that hard. If you look at example 3, you see that I have Yulie and Arnaud in the same hex, which doesn't matter, as long as you corner Hugo by three sides in a corner. Alright, now that you've cornered him, now begin to assault him with some tough attacks. He has low HP, so you could take him down easily with the right powerful moves, and also you can know use status effects on his hex that will effect him. Go for Raquel's "Intrude" ability along with a couple of "Dragon Edges", or any other tough damaging move. Hugo will use multiple sword attacks on you, but it's not much you should worry about with Yulie on your team. Now, don't get too cocky, and gather everybody into the same hex for a Lucky Card because Hugo will get away, and you'll have to surround him all over again... but well, you can steal from him though :). So, just go at him after cornering him, and he'll be dealt with! Reset the game if you do, and restart your file as well. Heh, this is just the little distraction before the storm. Strategy: Alright! right at the start of this battle... Bah! Just make sure you don't use anything consumable whether it's MP, or items. Other than that, just offensively attack them! Just use his magical abilities properly to win this battle. Strategy: Right when Arnaud gets their chance to go, use "Slow Down" so that he can have more opportunities to use his magic. Then, just use "Blast" repeatedly to win the battle. Luckily Arnaud can dodge attacks very well :) Name: Spriggan #2 (weak) HP: 3240 Exp: 0 Gella: 0 Attribute: Nothing special Elemental Weaknesses/Immunities: None Weaknesses: None Stealable Items: Potion Berrie(s) Difficulty: 5/10 Team: Raquel Description/Comments: This little Spriggan has definitely messed with the wrong team member! She has great defense, so don't worry about getting attacked. Just go at him with that ARM of his... Hmm... where's Yulie then? O_o Strategy: Right when Jude gets to make his move, just use "Phantom line" as your attack. Jude had decent defense, so don't really worry about him getting attacked for high damage. Don't get intimidated with Yulie just there by herself, the others will come as the rounds go on. Strategy: Once the battle starts and Yulie gets to go, cast "Protect" on her hex so that she can be safe for that one round. Then, when Arnaud appears in the battle field, just stick around with his magic for a while until Raquel appears. When you've got Yulie, Raquel, and Arnaud on the field, just use your offensive tactics such as Raquel's "Intrude" with either "Comet Strike" or "Dragon Edge", or Arnaud's Blast. First though, use Arnaud's "Slow Down" on the main Spriggan to slow him down for a while. Once Jude comes in, you can now be at full strength in terms of teamwork. Just have Jude use his "Phantom line" or "Joint Struggle" depending on your hex situation, and have Yulie on the defense as usual. Try to get many "Joint attacks" in when you can now that you'll be having everyone on the field. Just keep up your offense, and you'll come out ontop in battle! Name: Fiore HP: 13500 Exp: 1800 Gella: 1200 Attribute: Nothing special Elemental Weaknesses/Immunities: None Weaknesses: None Stealable Items: Mega Berrie(s) Name: Asia HP: 13500 Exp: 1800 Gella: 1200 Attribute: Nothing special Elemental Weaknesses/Immunities: None Weaknesses: None Stealable Items: Mega Berrie(s) Difficulty: 6/10 Team: Jude, Yulie, Arnaud, Raquel Description/Comments: These ain't no ordinary dolls, but they are very powerful dolls that have been brought to life by an Elitist of the Brionac Froces, Heath. Supposedly, Heath didn't care about anybody, even himself, but he was able to care about these little dolls that eventually came to life! Now, I might've said that they're very powerful, but that's just for being dolls. Realistically, you shouldn't sweat this battle much, and don't let their first move scare you either. Strategy: Right when you begin, you'll be double-sided by these two dolls, which will look something like this: ________ / \ / \ ________ / Fiore \ ________ / \ \ / / \ / \ \ / / \ / \ \________/ / \ \ / \ / \ / ________ \ / \________/ / \ \________/ / \ ________ / Team \ ________ / \ \ / / \ / \ \ / / \ / \ \________/ / \ \ / \ / \ / ________ \ / \________/ / \ \________/ / \ / Asia \ \ / \ / \________/ Once you are able to go, make sure you aim of one of these dolls (which ever one) that you take down first! You must hurry, and take one down, or their "joint attack" of their own will seriously hurt you taking about 2000-1000 HP depending on which character it hits. Raquel's "Intrude" and "Dragon Edge" attacks will come in handy here, since their HP is pretty low. Also, you can use Jude's "Joint Struggle" to deal hard damage, since you've got everybody in the same hex, towards the one you're taking out first. When Arnaud goes, use "Slow down" on the doll that's destined to go next out of the two. Yulie should be recovering everybody from the hard damage suffered from the dolls at the beginning of battle. Well, with "Joint Struggle" and the double actions of Raquel, one doll should be gone! Now that you have one left, it won't damage you as much, and remembering the way you took down the last doll... it's time to have some fun! It would be wise to use a Lucky Card there, or even steal from that little doll a wonderful Mega Berry. Well, just go at that last doll, whether it's Fiore or Asia, and you'll win the battle! Name: Guardian Chimera HP: 21500 Exp: 3700 Gella: 2800 Attribute: Nothing special Elemental Weaknesses/Immunities: Absorbs Fire, Water, Wind, and Earth Weaknesses: None Stealable Items: None Difficulty: 7.5/10 Team: Jude, Yulie, Arnaud, Raquel Description/Comments: Would you look at what Yulie's been having on her mind all this time. It's probably been a while since you've fought a guardian... right? Well, this is the legendary Chimera, a beast that has been used in various games and legends. Don't try taking this battle too lightly, and don't do anything that will help this boss instead of hurt it, if you know what I mean. Strategy: Well, this boss will start at the center on the field, which is pretty much how big and monstrous beasts start off in battle. Here's how you'll be positioned: ________ / \ / \ ________ / \ ________ / \ \ / / \ / \ \ / / \ / \ \________/ / \ \ / \ / \ / ________ \ / \________/ / \ \________/ / \ ________ / Chimera \ ________ / \ \ / / \ / \ \ / / \ / Arnaud \ \________/ / Yulie \ \ / \ / \ / ________ \ / \________/ / \ \________/ / Jude \ / & \ \ Raquel / \ / \________/ Once you start battle, have Arnaud cast "Slow Down" so that you can get the upper hand in speed as usual. Then have Yulie use "Protect" in her own hex, so that she'll be safe from Chimera's attacks, which are quite strong. Then, have Jude use his "Phantom line" attack, and Raquel use her "Intrude" ability with "Dragon Edges" if you're not on an elemental hex that is. This will cause some decent damage to Chimera, but you've got some more to go, so just continue using your offensive attacks, and try to stay away from any elemental attacks. The only one that should be on the defense should be Yulie, unless you have a crisis, and you need to use an item. Well, if Yulie's still there by herself, and has "Protection", Chimera's just going to attack her, and that will cause some distraction somewhat. Just keep healing with Yulie if this happens, and have everybody else take Chimera apart to win the battle. Name: Enil HP: 11800 Exp: 4200 Gella: 3600 Attribute: Nothing special Elemental Weaknesses/Immunities: None Weaknesses: None Stealable Items: None Difficulty: 6.5/10 Team: Jude, Yulie, Arnaud, Raquel Description/Comments: Whoa... it appears that it wasn't Yulie's brother after all! Here we go, yet another one of the Elite members of the Brionac Forces. Enil's abilities are just somewhat the same as Yulie's, except she uses it differently. Don't let this little trick throw you off, just bear with me, and you'll know what to do. This battle will be like looking in a mirror so to speak. Strategy: Right at the beginning of battle, you're probably going to be wondering what's going on, or at least what to do first. Just look at what you are dealing with: ________ / \ / \ ________ / Enil \ ________ / \ \ / / \ / \ \ / / \ / Arnaud \ \________/ / Yulie \ \ (clone) / \ (clone) / \ / ________ \ / \________/ / \ \________/ / Jude \ ________ / & \ ________ / \ \ Raquel / / \ / \ \ (clone) / / \ / \ \________/ / \ \ / \ / \ / ________ \ / \________/ / \ \________/ / \ / Team \ \ / \ / \________/ Now, these clones on you are 1 HP a piece, but there is a terrible consequence when you kill a clone of the certain person. Let's say Jude kills a Yulie clone, her clone will die along with Yulie herself dying as well! However, if Jude happens to kill his own clone, the clone will die and Jude will still be alive! So, what I'm trying to get across is that killing your own clone will not damage you in anyway. Well, I hope that helps you understand the consequences of killing these clones as well as how to get by this, so it would be best to avoid killing them if there's more than one per hex. When you kill a clone, Enil just creates another one, so it's just not wise to wipe them out. Anyway, have Jude use his "Phantom line" right through the Jude & Raquel clones hitting Enil. I know, this will cause poor Raquel to die, but when Yulie goes, just cast "Revive" on your hex to bring Raquel back to life. Have Arnaud use "Slow Down" on Enil so she can just be busy re-creating the clones that you've just defeated. Then, just go at Enil as long as she doesn't have any of the clones with her in the hex, which makes any offense on her limited to certain characters. Ignore the other clones, and just go at her and after you end up defeating her, you'll win the battle no matter what else is on the battle field. Name: Tank Vechicle HP: 18200 Exp: 4800 Gella: 3800 Attribute: Machine Elemental Weaknesses/Immunities: None Weaknesses: Short Circuit Stealable Items: None Difficulty: 6.5/10 Team: Jude, Yulie, Arnaud, Raquel Description/Comments: This is one huge tank, and it's ready to blow right in your face at any time! You'll be right in front of it in battle, but don't let that get to your head, you'll also be altogether, so you've got some benefits to your positioning as well. I wonder where this train got the power to be able to hold a huge tank like that inside. Also, no, this isn't the case where if this tank fires its cannon, the world gets destroyed (reference again :D). Strategy: Well, as I mentioned earlier, you'll be positioned right in front of the tank: ________ / \ / \ ________ / Tank \ ________ / \ \ / / \ / \ \ / / \ / \ \________/ / \ \ / \ / \ / ________ \ / \________/ / \ \________/ / \ ________ / Team \ ________ / \ \ / / \ / \ \ / / \ / \ \________/ / \ \ / \ / \ / ________ \ / \________/ / \ \________/ / \ / \ \ / \ / \________/ When the tank fires it's huge cannon at you, it'll do some decent damage, which will be close to the damage you endured when the twin dolls used its "joint attack". When Jude gets the chance to go, you'd probably expect me to say to use "Short Circuit", since we're dealing with a machine. However, since you're altogether, it'd be wiser to use "Joint Struggle" so that you can do some heavy damage on this Tank Vechicle. Then, you should next cast "Slow Down" with Arnaud, so that you won't have to deal with this Tank's heavy firing all the time. Have Yulie now cast "Protect" on the entire hex, so you won't have to deal with the Tank's damage so much (do this after you've recovered from the first blast). Now, bring on more heavy damage with Raquel's "Intrude" and "Dragon Edges" abilities, and with this done, you'll have the tank down pretty low. Since you're altogether, it'd be smart to take advantage of this situation and use "Joint Attacks". Keep this certain attacking sequence up along with renewing spells that have expired, and you'll win this battle in no time! Heh, this might not have been what you expected :). Name: Balgaine HP: 35000 Exp: 6000 Gella: 5200 Attribute: Machine (believe it or not) Elemental Weaknesses/Immunities: None Weaknesses: Short Circuit Stealable Items: None Difficulty: 7/10 Team: Jude, Yulie, Arnaud, Raquel Description/Comments: Now... this is a Brionac Elitist you'd really want to stay away from, especially after what you just saw! I mean, he did all that with a Chain Saw... imagine what he could do to pure flesh. Well, that Chain Saw's made to destroy tanks, and he wont hesitate to use it on you all the time. Well, for those of you who are familar with movies, this guy could be an excellent "stalker" in the movie The Running Man. :D Strategy: Alright, fighting Balgaine will be different from any boss you've fought so far. His attacks just consist of the following: "Charging L1, Niddog: Half Moon, Charging L2, Niddog: Straight Cut, Charing MAX, Niddog: Full Moon". I'll go over each one with you, and even show you what's going on. When he's charging, he's just ready to use his Chain Saw and you'll just have to get ready. When he uses his Chain Saw, here's the areas he'll destroy anything in its path: L1) Nidogg: Half Moon ________ / \ X = Death Spots / \ ________ / Balgaine \ ________ / \ \ / / \ / \ \ / / \ / X \ \________/ / X \ \ / \ / \ / ________ \ / \________/ / \ \________/ / \ ________ / X \ ________ / \ \ / / \ / \ \ / / \ / \ \________/ / \ \ / \ / \ / ________ \ / \________/ / \ \________/ / \ / \ \ / \ / \________/ L2) Nidogg: Straight Cut ________ / \ / \ ________ / Balgaine \ ________ / \ \ / / \ / \ \ / / \ / \ \________/ / \ \ / \ / \ / ________ \ / \________/ / \ \________/ / \ ________ / X \ ________ / \ \ / / \ / \ \ / / \ / \ \________/ / \ \ / \ / \ / ________ \ / \________/ / \ \________/ / \ / X \ \ / \ / \________/ LMAX) Nidogg: Full Moon ________ / \ / \ ________ / X \ ________ / \ \ / / \ / \ \ / / \ / X \ \________/ / X \ \ / \ / \ / ________ \ / \________/ / \ \________/ / \ ________ / Balgaine \ ________ / \ \ / / \ / \ \ / / \ / X \ \________/ / X \ \ / \ / \ / ________ \ / \________/ / \ \________/ / \ / X \ \ / \ / \________/ Well, if you're wondering about the MAX level, as shown above, he'll have to be in the middle to use it! If he doesn't get a chance to move into the middle, he'll just start again from charging his Chain Saw to L1. One more thing, if you try to use "Slow Down", "Fragile" etc. it won't work because he's immune to status effects! Aright, Now lets get this show on the road! At the beginning of battle, you'll be positioned this way: ________ / \ / \ ________ / Balgaine \ ________ / \ \ / / \ / \ \ / / \ / \ \________/ / \ \ / \ / \ / ________ \ / \________/ / \ \________/ / \ ________ / \ ________ / \ \ / / \ / \ \ / / \ / \ \________/ / \ \ / \ / \ / ________ \ / \________/ / \ \________/ / \ / Team \ \ / \ / \________/ In the first round, have Jude use his "Phantom line" attack to do some damage on Balgaine. Then, don't use "Slow Down" with Arnaud, but use "Reinforce", which you should already know that increases the speed of FP. Have Yulie cast "Protect" on the hex, so that she'll be at least doing something to gain FP. Raquel won't be able to do much, nor would I recommend you "move & attack" Balgaine because she may not be fast enough to move back (remember, he's does not have his speed cut). You'll see Balgaine charge his Chain Saw to L1, and when this happens, make sure you're away from the destined spots he will use his Chain Saw in! You can just use long range attacks like "Phantom line" and "Blast" to hurt him from a distance. After he now uses "Niddog: Half Moon", check to see if you can use a small "Joint Attack", but don't use up too much FP, you'll need at least 25 in a little while. When you now see Balgaine charge his Chain Saw, make sure Arnaud is going before Balgaine goes again, and use his "Jump" ablility to move away from the spot you in before you get killed. Then, just re-cast "Reinforce in the new hex you're in. After Balgaine uses "Niddog: Straight Cut", make sure you get somebody to quickly occupy the center hex! I'll recommend you send Raquel for the "move & attack" ability she has. When you attack Balgaine with her, have everybody else just attack Balgaine (if they can, else have them do something, if not, just tell them to defend). You'll see Balgaine now just recharge his Chain Saw to L1 again, but keep Raquel there and use "Intrude" with "Dragon Edges" to do some good damage on Balgaine. Well, she's going to be used as a sacrificial lamb, but Yulie can revive her afterwards. So, after Balgaine uses "Niddog: Half-Moon" again, just go at him, and keep avoiding his Chain Saw. By this time, he should be near-death or so, so take it to him, and win the battle! Now, wasn't that interesting? :) Name: Fully-Tuned Gear HP: 14500 Exp: 6100 Gella: 5000 Attribute: Machine Elemental Weaknesses/Immunities: Half Damage with Fire, Water, Wind and Earth Weaknesses: Short Circuit Stealable Items: None Difficulty: 4/10 Team: Jude, Arnaud, Raquel, Kresnik Description/Comments: Alright, it's now time to deal with Tony once and for all! Tony won't really be as tough as you might think he is, and this time you have got Kresnik to fight with you for the first time! Well, this is one of many battles where you'll be able to use Lucky Cards, Gella Cards, etc. to enhance your results after battle. However, bare in mind that you don't have Yulie with you, and well... it might not be wise to let her fall behind. Then again, it's your choice on this subject. Strategy: Once you start this battle, you'll be just aligned in the way I have below... get used to me showing you the battle field :): ________ / \ / Fully- \ ________ / Tuned \ ________ / \ \ Gear / / \ / \ \ / / \ / \ \________/ / \ \ / \ / \ / ________ \ / \________/ / \ \________/ / \ ________ / \ ________ / \ \ / / \ / \ \ / / \ / \ \________/ / \ \ / \ / \ / ________ \ / \________/ / \ \________/ / \ / Team \ \ / \ / \________/ As you see, you're all together again, and what will usually happen, if not all the time, is that Tony will advance forward into the center hex. When this happens, you've got the option to use "Joint Struggle" with Jude to do some very good damage. When Arnaud goes, have him cast "Slow Down" like you would normally do, so that you've got more times to move! With Kresnik, it'd be best to just cast "Adrenaline Rush" so that you can abuse the use of your own turns, and be able to just take on Tony without much hesitation. Kresnik has many more interesting abilities, so why not play with them here, or in the random battle afterwards. Speaking of abusing, with Raquel, you can just use the usual "Intrude" ability with a couple of "Dragon Edges" or so. Tony's attacks aren't much to worry about, especially after you use "Adrenaline Rush". So then, just finish Tony off with your powerful attacks, and you'll have this battle won! Name: Super Soldier HP: 13800 Exp: 7400 Gella: 6800 Attribute: Nothing special Elemental Weaknesses/Immunities: None Weaknesses: None Stealable Items: Priest Badge(s) Name: Blade Soldier HP: 2900 Exp: 102 Gella: 82 Attribute: Nothing special Elemental Weaknesses/Immunities: None Weaknesses: None Stealable Items: Mega Berrie(s), Full Revive, Potion Berry Name: Marksman HP: 2900 Exp: 102 Gella: 82 Attribute: Nothing special Elemental Weaknesses/Immunities: None Weaknesses: None Stealable Items: Mega Berrie(s), Full Revive, Potion Berry Name: Spellcaster HP: 2900 Exp: 102 Gella: 82 Attribute: Nothing special Elemental Weaknesses/Immunities: None Weaknesses: None Stealable Items: Mega Berrie(s), Full Revive, Potion Berry Difficulty: 7.5/10 Team: Jude, Yulie, Arnaud, Raquel Description/Comments: Now, these might just look like your ordinary soldiers, (well, 3 of them are) but this time the top dawg is with them and ready for action! Make sure you don't take him too lightly, he can really do some damage in both magical and physical attacks. Well, at least you've got your old team back, and you know how to work with them... right? Well, just follow me through and you'll be just fine. Strategy: Well, just look at the way they're positioned so that you there won't be any confusion about what movements I have you do, or how they can attack you or so: ________ / \ / \ ________ / Team \ ________ / \ \ / / \ / \ \ / / \ / \ \________/ / \ \ / \ / \ / ________ \ / \________/ / \ \________/ / \ ________ / \ ________ / \ \ / / \ / \ \ / / Blade \ / Marksman \ \________/ / Soldier \ \ / \ / \ / ________ \ / \________/ / Super \ \________/ / Soldier \ / \ \ Spellcaster/ \ / \________/ Well, since I really can't use any color to show you, I'll just tell you. Both the Spellcaster and the Super Soldier are on an Earth Elemental Hex, which means that they'll most likely be using Earth Elemental magic on you, which won't be so nice, but don't get worried if the first hit like this almost kills everyone. The Super Soldier also knows magic (if you haven't figured it out by what I said after the mention of the hex), and usually hits you with this in his first turn. When this happens, and you see that Jude (or anyone else for matter that can't use any healing magic) goes, just look at the turn indicator at the bottom to see if the Spellcaster or the Super Soldier are destined to go next. If one of them is, use a Potion Berry (or cast "Heal" if you're Yulie) on the hex to recover from the "Stone Blast" (or bullet) you suffered. Now, when Arnaud goes, cast "Slow Down" on the Super Soldier to be able to get more of your turns in before he goes. When Jude gets a chance to go, use "Phantom line" or any other attack that will eliminate the Spellcaster, so that you won't have two magic-users to deal with. The best thing to do with Yulie is to cast any defensive magic, such as "Protect", or even "Heal" if you're in trouble. With Raquel, your initial reaction might be to step forward with her, and attack the Super Soldier, but I'd advise you NOT to do that! The Super Soldier has the ability to "Block" attacks, which can happen with Raquel's attack. So, it'd be best to have her take out either the Marksman or the Blade Soldier using her "move & attack" ability. Like this: ________ / \ / Yulie \ ________ / Jude \ ________ / \ \ Arnaud / / \ / \ \ / / \ / \ \________/ / Raquel \ \ / \ / \ / ________ \ / \________/ / \ \________/ / \ | ________ / \ ____v___ / \ \ / / \ / \ \ / / Blade \ / Marksman \ \________/ / Soldier \ \ / \ / \ / ________ \ / \________/ / Super \ \________/ / Soldier \ / \ \ Spellcaster/ \ / \________/ OR ________ / \ / Yulie \ ________ / Jude \ ________ / \ \ Arnaud / / \ / \ \ / / \ / Raquel \ \________/ / \ \ / \ / \ / ________ \ / \________/ / \ \________/ | / \ ____v___ / \ ________ / \ \ / / \ / \ \ / / Blade \ / Marksman \ \________/ / Soldier \ \ / \ / \ / ________ \ / \________/ / Super \ \________/ / Soldier \ / \ \ Spellcaster/ \ / \________/ Doing this, you'll be eliminating one target, and furthermore, you'll give the enemy two different targets to deal with when using magic. Well, if either the Blade Soldier or the Marksman move closer, just attack the one further away from you so you can still be occupying two hexes. Anyway, try to eliminate the Spellcaster as fast you can using any of your attacking methods. If many of your team members are still in the same hex, you can go for "Joint attacks" on the Super Soldier. Now, the Super Soldier is liable to move to another hex, so be prepared with Arnaud casting "Slow Down" again, or locking him in the hex with "Shut Out". If you are going to attack Super Soldier with Raquel, go for her "Intrude" ability, and use "Dragon Edges", which he might not block and will deliver good damage to him. Watch out for the Super Soldier's ATT Power, this can really anyone like Yulie or Arnaud if they don't dodge. From here, it's all about how tough your team is, so go on the offense with everyone except Yulie, which should be casting "Heal" or "Protect" on your team. If you just intend to beat the Super Soldier with no fancy bonuses, you should just corner him to have him deal with multiple targets. However, if you're planning on using Lucky or Gella Cards, get together, and use them while being on defense. Then, from there, go ahead and use "Joint Struggle" with Jude, or a good "Joint attack" to finish off Super Soldier! Congrats! Name: Prototype Gear HP: 24000 Exp: 7400 Gella: 7000 Attribute: Machine Elemental Weaknesses/Immunities: Half Damage with Fire, Water, Wind and Earth Weaknesses: Short Circuit Stealable Items: Mega Berry, Potion Berry Difficulty: 8/10 Team: Jude, Yulie, Arnaud, Raquel Description/Comments: Here we go now, this battle isn't quite easy itself like the last one. You are liable to have characters taken out quite easy with this Prototype Gear. No, this isn't Tony again (unless he found another way of controlling these machines), this is a tough soldier-like robot that will just kick your... you know what I mean, if you don't plan out your actions. I sure hope you saved before this, especially after all the events that passed. Strategy: This Techno Soldier Bot surprised attacked you from the side, so what do you expect other than this?: ________ / \ / \ ________ / \ ________ / \ \ / / \ / \ \ / / \ / Jude \ \________/ / Prototype \ \ / \ Gear / \ / ________ \ / \________/ / \ \________/ / \ ________ / \ ________ / \ \ / / \ / Arnaud \ \ / / \ / Yulie \ \________/ / \ \ / \ / \ / ________ \ / \________/ / \ \________/ / \ / Raquel \ \ / \ / \________/ Alright, this Gear is pretty fast, and liable to move very much, so watch out for that. Well, you may want to watch out more for its "Radius Breath" that can *instantly* take out one of your team members, or his own shoot and regular attacks. Altogether, this is one tough "pedazo de fierro" (piece of iron :D), so you better be at decent levels, and have many abilities to choose from. When you start this battle, Prototype may use "Radius Breath" and take out some of your party members, but don't worry about it, if Yulie's out, just use a Revive Fruit to revive her, otherwise, use her revive ability to bring anybody back up. You might have a hard time in the first few turns, but stick with it, "Radius Breath" isn't 100%, so it has a good chance of missing, and he may not also use that as his first attack. When Arnaud gets a chance to go, quickly cast "Slow Down" so you can get more time to plan out your strategy. When you do this, and either Arnaud gets another chance to go before Prototype does, or Prototype just attacks in any form, have Arnaud cast "Shut Out" to prevent him from moving from that hex with the "Slow Down" effect in it. When you are able to do this, try as quickly as you can to surround Prototype with everyone in their own hex (or at least the majority), and nobody standing in a straight- line formation. This is what I'm talking about: ________ / \ / \ ________ / \ ________ / \ \ / / \ / \ \ / / \ / \ \________/ / \ \ / \ / \ / ________ \ / \________/ / \ \________/ / \ ________ / Jude \ ________ / \ \ / / \ / Arnaud \ \ / / \ / Yulie \ \________/ / Prototype \ \ / \ Gear / \ / ________ \ / \________/ / \ \________/ / \ / Raquel \ \ / \ / \________/ *Or if Prototype is in the middle* ________ / \ / \ ________ / \ ________ / \ \ / / \ / \ \ / / \ / Arnaud \ \________/ / Jude \ \ / \ / \ / ________ \ / \________/ / \ \________/ / \ ________ / Prototype \ ________ / \ \ Gear / / \ / \ \ / / \ / Yulie \ \________/ / \ \ / \ / \ / ________ \ / \________/ / \ \________/ / \ / Raquel \ \ / \ / \________/ Doing it this way, you can avoid having more than one team member effected with "Radius Breath", and with the hex locked, you can just cast inflict any status aliments on Prototype's hex. From there, just have Raquel use her "Intrude" ability with "Dragon Edges" to do some good damage, have Jude use "Short Circuit" to attack Prototype's weakness, have Arnaud use "Blast" when he can, have Yulie support as usual, and use Joint attacks if you're positioned like you are in the first example. Keep doing this, and Prototype will be taken down with decent effort. The hard part of this fight was the beginning, once you pass that the right way, he's all yours! Name: Augst (1st) HP: 15800 Exp: 8050 Gella: 7600 Attribute: Wild ARM Elemental Weaknesses/Immunities: Absorbs Fire, Water, Wind and Earth Weaknesses: Apoptosis Stealable Items: Mega Berry(s) Difficulty: 0/10 Team: Jude, Yulie, Arnaud, Raquel Description/Comments: Just how strong are you? Well, this is the time you should prove to me how much damage you can do with your team! By the way, what in the world did Augst do to himself?... Anyway, this is the official "Punching Bag" boss of this game! Heh, I've just waited some time to see if this... thing, attacks me, but no luck. Alright, I'd suggest you use a Lucky and a Gella Card on Augst to come out with better results at the end of battle. Go for it now! Strategy: Here we go, this is the section of this boss that really isn't required to be put here, but just in case anybody has any trouble with this boss... notify me, I've could've made a mistake if he does attack you. Other than that read the above section, which has more of what I recommend you do in this battle. :) Name: Augst (2nd) HP: 17920 Exp: 8750 Gella: 7800 Attribute: Wild ARM Elemental Weaknesses/Immunities: Absorbs Fire, Water, Wind and Earth Weaknesses: Apoptosis Stealable Items: Mega Berry(s) Difficulty: 3.5/10 Team: Jude, Yulie, Arnaud, Raquel Description/Comments: "Punching Bag" time is over, this time he fights back in a somewhat light way. He looks a little bigger as you see, but you can just try to fight him the same way you did. Just make sure the attack you perform is a good one, because he'll hit you back with an explosion... literally. Strategy: Well, alright, since he fights back, I'll go ahead and show you how you are positioned in this fight: ________ / \ / \ ________ / Augst \ ________ / \ \ / / \ / \ \ / / \ / \ \________/ / \ \ / \ / \ / ________ \ / \________/ / \ \________/ / \ ________ / \ ________ / \ \ / / \ / \ \ / / \ / Jude \ \________/ / Raquel \ \ / \ / \ / ________ \ / \________/ / \ \________/ / Arnaud \ / & \ \ Yulie / \ / \________/ Make sure you get together in the same hex right in front of Augst, that way you can have Yulie recover everybody at the same time with the hit of an explosion. Also, if you have Yulie cast "Protect" on the hex, you can make it easier on yourself as you hit Augst. Just keep on attacking Augst with big hits and recovering from his attacks, and you'll be just fine. Again, this is a good time to use a Lucky and Gella Card during battle to enhance your results after the battle! Good Job! :) Name: Kesaran Pasaran HP: 23100 Exp: 8400 Gella: 8000 Attribute: Nothing Special Elemental Weaknesses/Immunities: None Weaknesses: None Stealable Items: None Difficulty: 7/10 Team: Jude, Yulie, Arnaud, Raquel Description/Comments: Let the mind games continue! This boss is actually pretty decent with its little ability that can frustrate you as the numbers increase. This is a very odd looking enemy, and what else could you expect in that haunted place? Nothing else much to comment on, so just fight him out here! Strategy: Well, there's something that you can do right at the beginning of battle, just look at the way you're positioned: ________ / \ / Kesaran \ ________ / Pasaran \ ________ / \ \ / / \ / \ \ / / \ / \ \________/ / \ \ / \ / \ / ________ \ / \________/ / \ \________/ / \ ________ / \ ________ / \ \ / / \ / \ \ / / \ / Jude \ \________/ / Raquel \ \ / \ / \ / ________ \ / \________/ / \ \________/ / Arnaud \ / & \ \ Yulie / \ / \________/ Well, I can't show you that Jude's on a Wind Elemental Hex, but this is the advantage you can start out with. When Jude gets his chance to go, use the ability "Ley Boost" to speed up your RFX by 100. This will help Jude go more frequently, and when Arnaud gets his chance to go, cast "Slow Down" on Pasaran so that he can stop making those dummies. Watch out for those dummies as well, when you kill one, it can explode right in your face, and do some decent damage on you. It can get frustrating to be dealing with some many of those dummies, but make sure you have Yulie healing everyone with her "Material" ability on a regular hex, and also, have Yulie go on any assistance throughout this battle. With Raquel, just make her your usual powerhouse with her "Intrude" ability, and use "Dragon Edges" or "Mighty Wind", which will cancel his next action. Just keep up the action with your offense, and watch when you kill a dummy that explodes in your face. Then, you'll have this battle won after so many healing trips, and unnecessary attacks! Name: Goldrake HP: 26320 Exp: 11000 Gella: 108000 Attribute: Nothing Special/Flying Elemental Weaknesses/Immunities: Weak at Wind Weaknesses: None Stealable Items: Laurel Crown(s) Difficulty: 6/10 Team: Jude, Yulie, Arnaud, Raquel Description/Comments: Another boss fight in the same area, and this one looks like it's a biggie! Well, here's some good news, he's not really as hard as he looks at all! His attacks are something that don't pose a huge threat, and he's worth quite some Exp. and Gella. Watch it though, there's a reason why I put a "/" in the "Attribute" section, which means that he will start flying sometime in the battle. Strategy: Just to show you how things are in the battle field, here we go yet again: ________ / \ / \ ________ / \ ________ / \ \ / / \ / \ \ / / \ / Goldrake \ \________/ / Raquel \ \ / \ / \ / ________ \ / \________/ / \ \________/ / \ ________ / \ ________ / \ \ / / \ / \ \ / / Arnaud \ / \ \________/ / & \ \ / \ Yulie / \ / ________ \ / \________/ / \ \________/ / \ / Jude \ \ / \ / \________/ When you start off this battle, watch out for Goldrake's "Toxic Breath" which can effect multiple hexes. So this can't turn into an issue, you can have the first person that goes use an Antidote on a poisoned hex if he/she is near it. Then, when Arnaud gets to go, cast "Slow Down" to be able to get more turns in for your team before Goldrake goes. Goldrake's other move that you should watch out for is "Stone Bullet", but other than that and its regular attacks, you won't have to worry too much about his offense. Have Yulie mainly go on recovery mode/defensive mode, but if she's on a elemental hex, go ahead and use her "Material" ability to do some nice damage. With Raquel, you can use her usual "Intrude" with some "Dragon Edges", and also consider using "Mighty Wind" which works somewhat well on Goldrake. Don't get threatened if he begins to fly, this won't make much of a difference if you're fighting the same way, but focus more on "Shoot" attacks when this happens :). Well, this boss isn't all too hard overall, but just keep your offense up with Jude using "Phantom line" Raquel being a powerhouse, Arnaud statistically breaking him down, and Yulie using her Material, or recovering as you fight this battle. Now, since this fight is worth some good Exp. and Gella, it wouldn't hurt to use a Lucky and a Gella Card, would it? Keep at it, and go for it! Name: Jeremy (3rd) HP: 17800 Exp: 10000 Gella: 98000 Attribute: Wild ARM Elemental Weaknesses/Immunities: None Weaknesses: Apoptosis Stealable Items: Mega Berry(s) Difficulty: 7.5/10 Team: Jude, Yulie, Arnaud, Raquel Description/Comments: Well, well, you knew you'd run into him again much later, right? He's back from that awful prison island, and looks like he's a little different as well. Yup, he's now one of those Wild ARMs that you fought already with Augst, and about his weakness, that's not accessible to you... yet. In terms of his fighting, he's just about the same, that is, if you remember that long ago. Strategy: Now, I'm probably going to try to guide you through this battle, so bear with me, and your battle field: ________ / \ / \ ________ / Jeremy \ ________ / \ \ / / \ / \ \ / / \ / \ \________/ / \ \ / \ / \ / ________ \ / \________/ / \ \________/ / \ ________ / \ ________ / \ \ / / \ / \ \ / / \ / Raquel \ \________/ / Jude \ \ / \ / \ / ________ \ / \________/ / \ \________/ / Arnaud \ / & \ \ Yulie / \ / \________/ Remember "Inertial Canceller"? Well, it's back and even better than ever, this time he can substitute your turn for *two* of his turns. So, maybe if you have Arnaud cast "Slow Down", this might halt him for a while from using this abilty. Jeremy might move into the center hex, if so, just have Jude use his "Phantom line" on him, or if not, you could have Jude move right next to his hex. When Raquel goes, have her go right at Jeremy with her "move & attack", or use her "Intrude" ability to attack him with two of her "Dragon Edges". Now, keep Yulie, or anyone else for that matter *alert* just in case that Jeremy decides to move twice out of nowhere. Keep Yulie and Arnaud in the same hex, and just cast "Protect" with Yulie to keep them safe. That way, if Jeremy seriously attacks Jude or Raquel so much, that one of them gets KO'ed, you can have Yulie use "Revive" to bring him/her back up! Watch out for Jeremy's Vulcan Missile, if you remember, this can really do some damage on you, and it'd he hard to survive if you get hit with it twice! Well, just have Raquel and Jude use attacks on him straight on to distract him, while Arnaud breaks him down statistically, and Yulie recovers anyone in need. Just keep this strategy up, and you shouldn't fatigue, and you'll win over Jeremy the 3rd time! Name: Jeremy (4th) HP: 15600 Exp: 12000 Gella: 10800 Attribute: Wild ARM Elemental Weaknesses/Immunities: None Weaknesses: Apoptosis Stealable Items: Mega Berry(s) Difficulty: 7.75/10 Team: Jude, Yulie, Arnaud, Raquel Description/Comments: This is it, final confrontation between you and Jeremy, so make this worth the while. Looks like Kresnik had it in him afterall to draw out him ARM, and it's now up to you to deal with Jeremy once and for all! This fight is just about the same, just a little harder and easier at the same time, but much harder than it got easier, so watch it! Strategy: If you look above in the first fight, you'll see the battle field, which is the same in this battle, so just look above if you want to see how it's all positioned. Jeremy got mad now, his "Inertial Canceller" went up to *three* turns instead of two! So, when he goes, be extra careful in all areas. Well, he's also learned a new attack "Wild Savage", which is just like an ordinary attack, only a bit stronger. When you start off this battle (hopefully not too fatigued from the last one) have Jude move right up next to his hex, so that he can use his "Triple Inertial Canceller" on Jude, but have Yulie cast "Protect" on Jude so that he can be able to survive these attacks. Then, just try to fight this battle about the same way you fought the last one, but just being more careful and aware as well. "Joint attacks" by Yulie and Arnaud would work quite well in this battle as well as the continuous offense by Jude and Raquel. Keep this up, and Jeremy should go down for good! Congrats on stopping him for good! Name: X3 Jane Doe HP: 24500 (each) Exp: 6600 Gella: 3500 Attribute: Undead Elemental Weaknesses/Immunities: Half Damage with Water, Wind and Earth Weaknesses: Sanctify Stealable Items: Mega Berry, Potion Berry Difficulty: 6.5/10 Team: Jude, Yulie, Arnaud, Raquel Description/Comments: The dangers of fighting the undead members of the C. Knights, how scary. Figures that you'd run into something like this in such a quiet abandoned area. These three undead warriors like to work together, and attack together as well, this is like an unholy chick flick... (I think I'll back away from them...). Strategy: Let me show you not how everyone stands once the battle begins, but rather how you'll end up fighting them: ________ / \ / X3 \ ________ / Jane Doe \ ________ / \ \ / / \ / \ \ / / \ / \ \________/ / \ \ / \ / \ / ________ \ / \________/ / \ \________/ / \ ________ / \ ________ / \ \ / / \ / \ \ / / \ / Arnaud \ \________/ / Yulie \ \ / \ / \ / ________ \ / \________/ / \ \________/ / Jude \ / & \ \ Raquel / \ / \________/ When this battle starts out, have Jude use "Phantom line" straight across the middle hex hitting all three of them. Then, when Arnaud goes, have him use "Slow Down" Jane Doe's hex, so you won't be hit with their "Triple Treat" attack very often, which by the way, deals some good damage on your team. This is all they do when they are together, so watch out. When Yulie goes, have her use "Hi-Sanctify" on them, which will really do major damage (around 9000s), and if you don't know that ability, use regular "Sanctify". Having Hi-Sanctify with Yulie really makes this battle much easier, and you'll be using her for offensive purposes, which doesn't happen too often. When one of the Jane Does dies, they will go their separate ways, and begin to attack you individually with their weapons. The hardest part of this battle is surviving their "Triple Treat" attacks, so once you take one down, you should have this battle in your hands. Well, you could even take them all out at once... just stick to using the "Sanctify" ability(s)! Then, you'll win! Name: Gawn HP: 96100 Exp: 17000 Gella: 10000 Attribute: Nothing Special Elemental Weaknesses/Immunities: None Weaknesses: None Stealable Items: None Difficulty: 5/10 Team: Jude, Yulie, Arnaud, Raquel Description/Comments: As heartbreaking as it might sound, you're fighting Gawn now... What he's really trying to do is protect you from what's ahead, but much has happened that led to this. This isn't an ordinary battle, but rather a will to survive on the field with Gawn, you'll prove yourself to him, and show him what you're all about! Strategy: Alright, here's how you'll be positioned on the field: ________ / \ / \ ________ / \ ________ / \ \ / / \ / \ \ / / \ / Raquel \ \________/ / Jude \ \ / \ / \ / ________ \ / \________/ / \ \________/ / \ ________ / Gawn \ ________ / \ \ / / \ / \ \ / / \ / Yulie \ \________/ / Arnaud \ \ / \ / \ / ________ \ / \________/ / \ \________/ / \ / \ \ / \ / \________/ Now, he's got 12 bullets, your job in this battle is to survive all 12 bullets to win! He'll start off with a spreading shot that will hurt everyone on your team decently, but don't worry about that, worry about reviving each other when in need. When Jude goes (or anyone for that matter), just simply perform an attack on Gawn, and this'll make Gawn attack that character, which wastes his bullets. The only time you shouldn't attack him when you go is when you need to revive somebody, or about to die. Other then that, make him waste his bullets, but when his turn comes, he'll shoot someone from your team for an instant 9999 hit (death). You'll get the hang of it, and use items if you are in any desperate need... that wasn't too hard, was it? Name: Farmel HP: 21600 Exp: 20500 Gella: 16000 Attribute: None Elemental Weaknesses/Immunities: None Weaknesses: None Stealable Items: Ambrosia Difficulty: 5/10 Team: Jude, Yulie, Arnaud, Raquel Description/Comments: Now, to time fight Lambda's right hand lady, which really likes to use protection when they are together, that is, if you remember Jude attempting to shoot Lambda some time ago. This is another mind game, so bare with me while I try to explain this battle, and what you are to do. Once you understand, you'll be fine! Strategy: You'll start off this battle positioned in the battle field this way: ________ / \ / \ ________ / \ ________ / \ \ / / \ / \ \ / / \ / Yulie \ \________/ / Jude \ \ / \ / \ / ________ \ / \________/ / \ \________/ / \ ________ / Farmel \ ________ / \ \ / / \ / \ \ / / \ / Raquel \ \________/ / Arnaud \ \ / \ / \ / ________ \ / \________/ / \ \________/ / \ / \ \ / \ / \________/ She's right in the middle, and there's a reason for that! She'll start off using an ability named "Darkness Stance", which means she'll be immune to any form of attack against her, and will counter it with an instant death (9999 hit) attack. Heh, aren't you sick of these attacks? These moves she does all have to do with her "Citadel of Gods" or "Asgard" way of fighting (Hmm, doesn't that sound familiar?). Anyway, there is one little trick I found with Farmel I found interesting, she only counters you if you're adjacent to her hex, but if you're two hexes away, she won't do anything to you! Now, this is only "Darkness Stance", you can't do anything to her when she does this, but when she uses "Barrier or Fortress Stance", she'll counter with magic if she uses "Barrier Stance" and she'll do this once a round, after she counter whoever attacked her, she'll be open for attack! It's the same with "Fortress Stance", except she'll counter you physically, so there's your opening in this battle! Well, she won't move hexes, so you'll have to make her switch hexes with a certain ability. When Yulie gets a chance to go, have her cast "Replace" spell to switch hexes with Farmel while Yulie's standing in a corner hex, this is how it'll end up look after you have Yulie use "Replace": ________ / \ / \ ________ / \ ________ / \ \ / / \ / \ \ / / \ / Farmel \ \________/ / Jude \ \ / \ / \ / ________ \ / \________/ / \ \________/ / \ ________ / Yulie \ ________ / \ \ / / \ / \ \ / / \ / Raquel \ \________/ / Arnaud \ \ / \ / \ / ________ \ / \________/ / \ \________/ / \ / \ \ / \ / \________/ As you see, Yulie switched hexes with Farmel, which led Farmel to being in a corner to the top left, so now you can have Jude or Arnaud use an attack from a distant hex, which will not let you get counter-attacked! Once you do this, you can just wait for Farmel to start to use "Barrier or Fortress Stance", so that you can get a short opportunity to attack Farmel, but be ready to take advantage of that situation. By this, I mean to have Raquel nearby ready to "move & attack" or having her "Intrude" ready. After this, just regenerate after you get hit, keep up the stealth-like offense, and you'll have Farmel down and out! Name: Reclaimer Dragon HP: 35320 Exp: 20500 Gella: 16500 Attribute: Wild ARM Elemental Weaknesses/Immunities: None Weaknesses: Apoptosis Stealable Items: Mega Berry(s) Difficulty: 7.5/10 Team: Jude, Yulie, Arnaud, Raquel Description/Comments: Well, it's time to fight those Wild ARM specimens again, and again, be just a little more patient about obtaining "Apoptosis". I hope you prepared before this fight, you'll need badges that are immune to Sleep and Poison, but primarily Sleep! You can find them at a beginning area when you obtain a treasure chest in battle... kinda hard to get, but worth it for this fight. Now, that was just a recommendation, you can still win without one, but having one just makes it easier. Strategy: You'll be positioned in this battle with your usual spreading on your own side: ________ / \ / Reclaimer\ ________ / Dragon \ ________ / \ \ / / \ / \ \ / / \ / \ \________/ / \ \ / \ / \ / ________ \ / \________/ / \ \________/ / \ ________ / \ ________ / \ \ / / \ / \ \ / / \ / Raquel \ \________/ / Jude \ \ / \ / \ / ________ \ / \________/ / \ \________/ / Arnaud \ / & \ \ Yulie / \ / \________/ When you start battle, watch out for Reclaimer's "Slumber Fog", which can put many of you sleep, and lead you to a disadvantage. Having Breath Mints with you just in case you get put to sleep can come in handy, so I'd also recommend that as a prerequisite. Reclaimer also uses "Toxic Breath", which poisons you, and you should also be prepared for. Other then that, this dragon's got both speed and power, and dangerous combination! With its speed, have Arnaud cast "Slow Down" to get some decent turns in between his turns. Have Yulie cast "Protect" on her hex, so that both Arnaud and her can be protected against Reclaimer's powerful attack. With Jude, just use the usual "Phantom line" or if you have it, go ahead and use "Silver Launcher" to do some good damage! Have Raquel use her usual "Intrude" so you can get some "Dragon Edges" on Reclaimer. While you break down with Arnaud, and recover with Yulie, you can use their "Joint attack" to also do some damage ("Sorcery Grenade" if I remember correctly). Again, watch out for its sleep and poison attacks, keep up the offense, and you'll have him down with a nice effort! Name: Riesenge HP: 23820 Exp: 20500 Gella: 17000 Attribute: Wild ARM Elemental Weaknesses/Immunities: None Weaknesses: Apoptosis Stealable Items: Mega Berry(s) Difficulty: 5.5/10 Team: Jude, Yulie, Arnaud, Raquel Description/Comments: Again, another one of those Wild ARM species, but by this time you should already be used to them, right? Well, this boss wasn't all that heard like the recent ones you've been fighting, so don't trip homie, I got yo back anyway! Best I can tell you is, enjoy this time you're fighting together, because... well nevermind, I wouldn't want to spoil the surprise! :) Strategy: The usual hex-to-hex battle field positioning, here we go: ________ / \ / \ ________ / Riesenge \ ________ / \ \ / / \ / \ \ / / \ / \ \________/ / \ \ / \ / \ / ________ \ / \________/ / \ \________/ / \ ________ / \ ________ / \ \ / / \ / \ \ / / \ / \ \________/ / \ \ / \ / \ / ________ \ / \________/ / \ \________/ / \ / Team \ \ / \ / \________/ When you start off this battle, have Jude use his "Sliver Launcher", which you should already know by now, and then have Arnaud cast "Slow Down" on Riesenage, so that you can get more turns in between him going. Watch for his "Sky Twister", which can do some damage on you, but be glad that its not so heavy, and also watch his counter-charge, which can be somewhat decent. With Raquel, just go for her usual powerhouse "Intrude" and "Dragon Edges", and have Yulie go on her usual recovery defense with using "Protect" or "Heal" (you should also have "Hi-Heal" now by this time). This won't be much of a hard battle, so just go at it with your offensive, which should be much stronger now than it was some boss battles ago, and watch your team's critical statuses! Then, this ARM should be going out! Name: Cyanoides HP: 43700 Exp: 20500 Gella: 18000 Attribute: Wild ARM Elemental Weaknesses/Immunities: Weak at Fire, absorbs Water Weaknesses: Apoptosis Stealable Items: None Difficulty: 8/10 Team: Jude, Kresnik Description/Comments: It's time to get pretty intimidated! You don't have Yulie there to heal you, but you've got her brother Kresnik with you... and guess what!? He's got "Apoptosis" with him! This battle can he somewhat challenging if you don't use your head, so think about every move your going do, because if someone goes down, you're one-on-one with this huge monster! Strategy: Jude and Kresnik will be on opposite hexes, and you'll be facing this boss just like this: ________ / \ / \ ________ / Cyanoides \ ________ / \ \ / / \ / \ \ / / \ / \ \________/ / \ \ / \ / \ / ________ \ / \________/ / \ \________/ / \ ________ / \ ________ / \ \ / / \ / \ \ / / \ / Kresnik \ \________/ / Jude \ \ / \ / \ / ________ \ / \________/ / \ \________/ / \ / \ \ / \ / \________/ When you begin this battle, you'll notice that there's a Water Elemental Hex right by Cyanoides! Now, Cyan likes to use "Hydro Pressure", which is a pretty strong Water-based attack that can do some good damage. Other than that attack, he's got a decent physical attack, which hurts Kresnik more than it might hurt Jude, and vice versa with the Hydro Pressure. Anyway, Once you begin this battle, try to make your way to the Water Hex, which is right next to Cyan. So, you'll end up fighting him like this (assuming he didn't move): ________ / \ / \ ________ / Cyanoides \ ________ / \ \ / / \ / Kresnik \ \ / / \ / & \ \________/ / \ \ Jude / \ / \ / ________ \ / \________/ / \ \________/ / \ ________ / \ ________ / \ \ / / \ / \ \ / / \ / \ \________/ / \ \ / \ / \ / ________ \ / \________/ / \ \________/ / \ / \ \ / \ / \________/ Jude should have his "Dash" ability, which can help him move there in a single turn, and luckily Kresnik is already next to that hex! Once you're there, have Kresnik cast "Adrenaline Rush" to raise your defense and speed as well. Then, just have Jude use his "Silver Launcher" against Cyan, or any other good attacking method he has. Cyan might absorb Water, but you won't be using any elemental based attacks with Jude or Kresnik, so just use that hex to your defensive advantage. Have Kresnik use "Apoptosis" to do some good damage on Cyan, and if you've got enough FP, use your newly learned "Joint attack" that you've also saw in the opening video before starting your game file. Just stay in that hex, and don't hesitate to use a Berry if you're in need... and this huge Cyan Beast will fall! Name: Erythron HP: 43700 Exp: 20500 Gella: 18000 Attribute: Wild ARM Elemental Weaknesses/Immunities: Weak at Water, absorbs Fire Weaknesses: Apoptosis Stealable Items: None Difficulty: 7.5/10 Team: Yulie, Arnaud, Raquel Description/Comments: Now, we shall go to the other perspective of this two way movement. This is practically the same boss, only its elementally opposite, and you have different ways of fighting with this team. You don't have Jude, but you've got Raquel to fill in the offense, and Arnaud and Yulie to work their usual fighting methods. Strategy: You'll start off surrounding this boss in this such a way: ________ / \ / \ ________ / \ ________ / \ \ / / \ / \ \ / / \ / Arnaud \ \________/ / Yulie \ \ / \ / \ / ________ \ / \________/ / \ \________/ / \ ________ / Erythron \ ________ / \ \ / / \ / \ \ / / \ / \ \________/ / \ \ / \ / \ / ________ \ / \________/ / \ \________/ / \ / Raquel \ \ / \ / \________/ When you begin this battle, have Arnaud use "Slow Down" to be able to get more of your turns in before Erythron goes. Have Yulie concentrate on recovery, but you can also use her "Material" if you're on an elemental hex... too bad there is no Fire Elemental Hex in this battle. Have Raquel go for her usual "Intrude" along with a "Dragon Edge" and a "Mighty Wind" to cancel Erythron's next move. Continue to have Arnuad break down Erython statistically, and then after a while, you should have Erython beat... but just watch for its powerful physical and magical based attacks. Go for it, and you'll win! Name: Lambda HP: 24700 Exp: 21800 Gella: 19000 Attribute: None Elemental Weaknesses/Immunities: None Weaknesses: None Stealable Items: Ambrosia Difficulty: 6.5/10 Team: Jude, Yulie, Arnaud, Raquel Description/Comments: This is it! The time for talking smack is over, time to face Lambda himself! Really though, don't overthink this battle, this battle isn't all that hard, but just watch Lambda just in case... after all, he is the leader of Brionac! Ready... go! Before he gets to that Divine Weapon! Strategy: This is how you're positioned right when you start out in battle with Lambda: ________ / \ / \ ________ / Lambda \ ________ / \ \ / / \ / \ \ / / \ / \ \________/ / \ \ / \ / \ / ________ \ / \________/ / \ \________/ / \ ________ / \ ________ / \ \ / / \ / \ \ / / \ / Jude \ \________/ / Raquel \ \ / \ / \ / ________ \ / \________/ / \ \________/ / Arnaud \ / & \ \ Yulie / \ / \________/ Alright! Right when you start battle, have Jude move right next to Lambda, so that you can be attacking him from the corner hex. Have Arnaud cast "Slow Down" on him, so that you can get more turns in on him before he goes. Have Yulie cast "Protect" in her hex, so that both her and Arnaud can be safe, unless that is, you need healing, which you would cast "Hi-Heal" with her. Have Raquel "move & attack" Lambda in the other corner hex, so that you'll be attacking Lambda from two sides physically, and being able to occasionally use a "Joint attack" with Arnaud and Yulie. This will look something like this: ________ / \ / \ ________ / Lambda \ ________ / \ \ / / \ / \-->\ /<--/ \ / Jude \ \________/ / Raquel \ \ / \ / \ / ________ \ / \________/ / \ \________/ / \ ________ / \ ________ / \ \ / / \ / \ \ / / \ / \ \________/ / \ \ / ^ \ / \ / ____|___ \ / \________/ / \ \________/ / Arnaud \ / & \ \ Yulie / \ / \________/ Watch out for Lambda's attack named "Blue Destiny", which can go across hexes, and do some decent damage, and also depending on what he uses it for. Just hit Lambda hard with Jude's "Silver Launcher", and Raquel's Intrude combos, and you'll be able to finish Lamba for good! You did it! Name: Divine Weapon (1st) HP: 48900 Exp: 0 Gella: 0 Attribute: Wild ARM Elemental Weaknesses/Immunities: None Weaknesses: Apoptosis Stealable Items: Ambrosia(s) Name: X2 Device HP: 12450 (each) Exp: 0 Gella: 0 Attribute: None Elemental Weaknesses/Immunities: None Weaknesses: None Stealable Items: Mega Berry(s) Difficulty: 8/10 Team: Jude, Yulie, Arnaud, Raquel Description/Comments: You've finally stopped Lambda, but this time you've got to take down the Divine Weapon itself! What a surprise though, it's Hauser trying to control the Divine Weapon! Hmm... he did look extremely like Jude, and you saw the past from his eyes... Anyway, this is a rather longish battle that can be annoying, but also tiring. Just don't use up too much energy on this battle... and Good Luck! (I'll be here still) :) Strategy: One-to-one hex against the first form of the Divine Weapon (Hauser), this is how it looks: ________ / \ / \ ________ / Hauser \ ________ / \ \ / / \ / \ \ / / \ / \ \________/ / \ \ / \ / \ / ________ \ / \________/ / \ \________/ / \ ________ / \ ________ / \ \ / / \ / \ \ / / \ / \ \________/ / \ \ / \ / \ / ________ \ / \________/ / \ \________/ / \ / Team \ \ / \ / \________/ At the beginning of battle, you'll probably see Hauser call out its twin devices, which can be very annoying since they aid Hauser in attacking, and defending! When you start this battle, you can keep everyone for the time being in the same hex, and cast "Protect" with Yulie. Have Arnaud use "Slow Down" to get more turns in between Hauser's movements (you're going to need them!). With Jude, you can use "Silver Launcher" on Hauser and his devices, but be warned that the devices will defend the attack, which will make things harder! Watch Jude's MP, because it can run out quick if you keep on using "Silver Launcher". If you want you can also move Jude right next to Hauser in the top left-hand corner hex on the field, and use "Apoptosis", which will hurt Hauser very much, if the devices aren't there. Have Raquel step into the center hex, and attack all she can against the devices, which will end up defending anyway. You can go with combinations such as this: ________ / \ / \ ________ / Hauser \ ________ / \ \ / / \ / \-->\ / / \ / Jude \ \________/ / \ \ / ^ \ / \ / ____|___ \ / \________/ / \ \________/ / \ ________ / Raquel \ ________ / \ \ / / \ / \ \ / / \ / \ \________/ / \ \ / \ / \ / ________ \ / \________/ / \ \________/ / Arnaud \ / & \ \ Yulie / \ / \________/ That way Hauser can have multiple targets to deal with, and if any of you individual characters fall, have Yulie use "Revive" on them to bring them back to life. You'll be using much "Joint attacks", which is wise since they don't use up any finite values. Have Arnaud continue to use spells such as "Illusion, Reinforce, Extend, and Fragile", and also use "Dispel" just in case those devices decide to support Hauser in any way. With Yulie, use "Quicken" to help with your speed, and others like "Hi-Heal and Protect". Keep these spells up, which will help make this battle much easier on you! Have Raquel use "Intrude" with some "Dragon Edges", and also maybe increase her FP by 25 if you want. Don't let those devices get you down, Hauser will keep calling them when they fall, so don't miss any good opportunity to attack Hauser! In terms of items, use whatever you can/want, but just don't overdo it. Keep it up, and you'll take Hauser down after a good long fight! Name: Divine Weapon (2nd) HP: 59000 Exp: 0 Gella: 0 Attribute: Wild ARM Elemental Weaknesses/Immunities: None Weaknesses: Apoptosis Stealable Items: Ambrosia Difficulty: 8/10 Description/Comments: I surely hope you didn't use up too much in the last battle, here we go again in the 2nd form of this boss! Don't get so intimidated at this, just follow me through and you'll be just fine... heck, I beat this form with Jude all fatigued from the first fight, as well as the others. So, "you can do it!" </Waterboy> :) Strategy: Well... (Ditto!) the positions you're in are the same as the above with the one-to-one hex. Watch out for the Divine Weapon's Claymore attack, which can do some good damage on you, especially if you're all fatigued. Well, start out with using Yulie's defensive magic "Protect, Quicken, and Hi-Heal (if needed)", and Arnaud's stat breaking spells as well as support "Reinforce, Slow Down, Extend, and Fragile". Then, have Jude attack Divine Weapon with his tough abilities like "Phantom Line, Silver Launcher, or one of Kresnik's old moves". You can step up to the center hex, and use Raquel's power moves on the Divine Weapon, but be ready to support her with Yulie if you do. Just keep up your fighting, and use "Joint attacks" as much as you can, and you'll have this form of the Divine Weapon done! Remember, if you watch Jude's MP, don't forget to use "Ley Boost" to recover some MP when needed. Go at him watching yourself at the same time!... and you'll win!! Name: Divine Weapon (Final) HP: 65500 Exp: 0 Gella: 0 Attribute: Wild ARM Elemental Weaknesses/Immunities: None Weaknesses: Apoptosis Stealable Items: Ambrosia Name: X4 Sword Radius HP: 17300 (each) Exp: 0 Gella: 0 Attribute: Wild ARM Elemental Weaknesses/Immunities: None Weaknesses: Apoptosis Stealable Items: Mega Berry(s) Difficulty: 8.5/10 Description/Comments: Here we go! This is it! The final battle of the actual game! It's all on the line here, and you'll be learning a new Combination Art, which is the total power of your team... Arc Impluse! Just listen to the music, go with all you got, and you'll have this game beaten! May the best team win with my help :) ... Good Luck! Strategy: ...(Anti-Ditto!) Here's how you'll all be positioned in the final battle field of the game!: ________ / \ / Divine \ ________ / Weapon \ ________ / \ \ / / \ / \ \ / / \ / Sword \ \________/ / Sword \ \ Radius / \ Radius / \ / ________ \ / \________/ / \ \________/ / X2 Sword \ ________ / Radius \ ________ / \ \ / / \ / \ \ / / \ / \ \________/ / \ \ / \ / \ / ________ \ / \________/ / \ \________/ / \ / Team \ \ / \ / \________/ You're back at 100% condition-wise, yay! The first move you'll start off with is the newly learned "Joint attack" Arc Impluse! When you use this, it'd be smart to hit the center Sword Radiuses instead of the Divine Weapon. If you're wondering why, it's because the Sword Radiuses do very much damage on you, and can nearly kill you if they put their powers together. Well, after that, watch out for Divine Weapon's Handy Cannon, and Arch Smasher. Have Arnaud use "Slow Down" on the Atma... *Erm*... Divine Weapon to be able to get more turns in before it goes again. From there, have Arnaud and Yulie perform what they did in the previous two battles against the Divine Weapon. Which is using support, recovery, and stat breaking magics against it! Have Jude use "Silver Launcher" or any other hard attacking ability that can reach across hexes. Well, with Raquel, you can just attack anyone that stands in your way adjacent to your hex *cough* Sword Radiuses, or increase the FP on the hex to use Joint attacks! Keep this sequence up, and you'll be able to take down the Sword Radiuses, and put the Divine Weapon near death!! Your practically done here, Excellent Job!! Now, one more move to finish off this boss as well as the game itself! "Arc Impulse"! Your job now is to gather 100 FP in your hex with all your team together, and survive Divine Weapon's attacks as you go! Have anyone on defense if needed, and once you gather 100 FP, and get to use "Arc Impluse"... that's it! Divine Weapon has been defeated!!! Congratulations my friend, I may have helped, but it was all you! :) ...Now, enjoy the ending! *Sob* ******************************************************************************* *>>>>>> <<<<<<* *>>>>>>> 2.2) MISC. ENEMIES <<<<<<<* *>>>>>> <<<<<<* ******************************************************************************* Alright now, these enemies are actually not required to be fought in the actual story, but just in case you run into them, or decide to fight them, I'll be here to help you! This isn't a big list at all... yet, but I'm totally not done and will continue to update this section as times goes on! Such as adding some Name: Mimic HP: 5500 Exp: 250 Gella: 200 Attribute: Machine Elemental Weaknesses/Immunities: Resistant to Water, and weak at Fire, and Half resistant to Wind and Earth Weaknesses: Short Circuit Stealable Items: LVL Apple, Potion Berry Difficulty: 4/10F Description/Comments: Well, well, well, if it isn't our old friend the Mimic treasure chest! Looks like it's back, and will still fight you for what it has inside. Now, these Mimic chests may look a little weak, but there's always something about them that makes them decent, and worth the time you use to fight them. Strategy: Once you get into this battle, it would be smart to keep Yulie or Arnaud away from its attacks. Mimic chest has a certain ability called "Fatal Attack" which will damage any of your characters in a certain hex to where they have only 1 HP! It would be best to charge at him with Jude and Raquel, so that it might avoid using that move on Arnaud and Yulie. If you charge Mimic chest very hard, you'll take it out pretty quick, and you'll be victorious! However, what I did for fun is just approach Mimic with Jude, and stole a valuable item from it before I killed it. Heh, just a smart suggestion I had, but watch yourself if you're planning on doing that! Name: Imitator HP: 10500 Exp: 500 Gella: 400 Attribute: Machine Elemental Weaknesses/Immunities: Resistant to Water, and weak at Fire, and Half resistant to Wind and Earth Weaknesses: Short Circuit Stealable Items: LVL Apple, Mega Berry Difficulty: 4.5/10 Description/Comments: It's the upgrade to the Mimic! Time to face the imitator now! This is not a boss you should normally sweat, so go for it and take from the treasure chest what you've rightfully earned! Strategy: When you start this fight, watch out for its instant death attack, but its physically attack isn't so strong. Have Jude go on the offense with one of his abilities (how ever far you are in terms of this) like Phantom line or "Short Circuit" if you know it. Have Raquel go for her powerhouse "Intrude" combos, and have Arnaud "Slow" him down. If anyone is in need of reviving, or healing have Yulie ready for that action! This isn't that hard, and you can even steal from him, and hope to get a LVL Apple. You'll have it down if you keep at it! =============================================================================== ******************************************************************************* *>>>>>> <<<<<<* *>>>>>>> 3) CREDITS & OTHER INFO. <<<<<<<* *>>>>>> <<<<<<* ******************************************************************************* =============================================================================== iight everyone!
