1.) Introduction
===================

Howdy and welcome to my Telepath Tower FAQ for Wild ARMs 3. While playing
through the game, and while doing the Telepath Tower sidequest, I figured why
not make a guide for them since there isn't one already up, and I figure it'll
help anyone looking for the towers, so here I am.

3.) Telepath Tower Info
=======================

The Telepath Towers in Wild ARMs 3 are a sidequest just like the Millenium
Puzzles, only the Towers aren't puzzles, but rather fights. You'll fight three
towers at a time and each tower comes with a different status effect for each
fight. For example, the first set of Towers use Amnesia, whereas the second
batch of Towers use Disease and so on. The later towers use multiple status
effects.

In order to start this sidequest, you need to talk with Roswell in Laxisland
after getting Lombardia. ASK him about the towers when the green text pops up
and he'll give you the location of the first tower. After that, you can kill
them in any order as you wish.

===================
4.) Tower Locations
===================

Obviously, this section will point out which directions all the Towers are in.

# Location
- --------
1 Southwest of Laxisland
2 South of Yggdrasil
3 Northeast of World's Footprint
4 West of Unclean Mark
5 Northwest of Yggdrasil (on a nearby continent)
6 Northwest of Ka Dingel
7 South of Humphrey's Peak
8 East of Ballack Rise
9 South of Little Rock
10 Southwest of Demondar Pillar-Rear
11 West of Boot Hill (Must use Lombardia to destroy a rock)
12 Across a rift on the same continent as Gunner's Heaven
13 South of the Dim Root Path
14 Fly over the nearby cliff with Lombardia near Jolly Roger and
           destroy the rock
15 Northwest of Sunset Peak across a rift
00 Dune across Boot Hill (All other towers must be defeated first)

===================
5.) Telepath Towers
===================

This section will list the towers themselves and what status effects they
carry. Each battle contains three towers. I won't give indepth strategies
as all you really need is the appropriate Wards for these fights. Of course,
you CAN use Extension + Status Lock, then Extension + Permanance, but that's
no fun and you miss out on some extra experience.

 ______
/ BOSS \
+------+--------------+
| Telepath Tower #1 |
+--------*------------*
| HP | Status |
+--------+------------*
| ???? | Amnesia |
*--------*------------*

You'll want Memo Pens for this fight, but at this point of the game you
should have plenty of them. However, if you need them, use Pickpocket on
Marids at the Lunatic Garden.

 ______
/ BOSS \
+------+--------------+
| Telepath Tower #2 |
+--------*------------*
| HP | Status |
+--------+------------*
| ???? | Disease |
*--------*------------*

Disease isn't really that deadly and since their Hyperion rays don't do a lot
of damage, it isn't a threat at all. If you need Hazel Sprigs, you can steal
some from Axe Beaks around Little Twister.

 ______
/ BOSS \
+------+--------------+
| Telepath Tower #3 |
+--------*------------*
| HP | Status |
+--------+------------*
| ???? | Poison |
*--------*------------*

This is the first pain in the ass tower since Poison has the capability of
killing you off real fast if you're not careful. However, you should have
plenty of Moonstones by this point of the game. If you need any, you can
steal some from Rat Monkeys in the Decaying Labyrinth if you've done that
sidequest. If not, you can steal them from Gorgs at the Caging Tower.

 ______
/ BOSS \
+------+--------------+
| Telepath Tower #4 |
+--------*------------*
| HP | Status |
+--------+------------*
| ???? | Sleep |
*--------*------------*

Sleep isn't too dangerous, but it can get nasty if no one has protection
against sleep, which shouldn't be possible since the Moon Spark Medium comes
with a Sleep Ward. If you need Alarm Clocks, you can steal them from Mushussu
in the Nidhogg Pass.

 ______
/ BOSS \
+------+--------------+
| Telepath Tower #5 |
+--------*------------*
| HP | Status |
+--------+------------*
| ???? | Misery |
*--------*------------*

Misery isn't all that deadly since it only locks your Arcana and special
skills, and since their Hyperions don't do much damage, it shouldn't be a
threat. If you need Heart Leaves, you can get them as an item drop from Twin
Tails around Humphrey's Peak.

After you destroy five towers, you'll get into a different kind of battle.

 ______
/ BOSS \
+------+--------------+
| Creeping Chaos |
+--------*------------*
| HP | Status |
+--------+------------*
| 30000 | Several |
*--------*------------*

The Creeping Chaos is a nasty little bugger. He's weak in general, but his
ability to cast several status effects on you may wind up killing you if you
don't have the correct wards on. Here are the status effects he'll cast upon
you if he uses Arc-en-Ciel:

-Poison
-Disease
-Misery
-Confusion
-Paralysis
-Sleep
-Amnesia

As you can tell, Poison and Confusion are the real killers here. However, the
bright spot in this fight is that if you have a few wards equipped, you can
get 9.9x extra experience in this battle. He has two other attacks as well.
Direct Voice causes Confusion on one target, and Human Experimentation does
little damage but causes Poison, Disease, and Paralysis. As long as you can
shield yourself from at least Poison, Confusion, Paralysis, and Amnesia, this
fight is rather easy.

After defeating him, Creeping Chaos will appear as random encounters on
the world map only. I'd suggest fighting them on horseback since you can't
be inflicted with Paralysis and Sleep while on them. You can also fight three
at once, which give 30,000 Exp total, and if you can rack up Chains with your
status wards, you can get up to nearly 300,000 Exp, meaning a guaranteed level
up if you're below level 80.

 ______
/ BOSS \
+------+--------------+
| Telepath Tower #6 |
+--------*------------*
| HP | Status |
+--------+------------*
| ???? | Paralysis |
*--------*------------*

Paralysis is more annoying than deadly, but it usually wears off in about 3-5
turns. If you need any Blue Bracers, you can steal some from Cockatrices in
Yggdrasil.

 ______
/ BOSS \
+------+--------------+
| Telepath Tower #7 |
+--------*------------*
| HP | Status |
+--------+------------*
| ???? | Glass |
*--------*------------*

Glass is no fun at all. If a character turns into Glass, they're out of the
fight until you cure it with a restoration item. If someone gets hit while
they have Glass inflicted upon them, they'll be instantly KO'd. If you need
any Soul Feathers, you can steal some from Nybbas in the Caging Tower.

 ______
/ BOSS \
+------+--------------+
| Telepath Tower #8 |
+--------*------------*
| HP | Status |
+--------+------------*
| ???? | Confusion |
*--------*------------*

This is probably one of the worst towers you'll encounter first if you're
doing them in order. Confusion is a nasty status effect and you'll want to
cure it ASAP, even if it means using Mystic with a Pinwheel with Virginia.
If you need any Clear Chimes, you can steal them from Myconids in the Ruins
of Dreams.

 ______
/ BOSS \
+------+--------------+
| Telepath Tower #9 |
+--------*------------*
| HP | Status |
+--------+------------*
| ???? | Bronze |
*--------*------------*

Bronze is more annoying than it is deadly. If someone is inflicted with
Bronze, they'll ALWAYS act last until it's cured. There's a timer above the
character inflicted with Bronze, but since you have 5 turns to get rid of it,
it shouldn't pose as a problem. If you need any Holy Ankhs, you can get them
as an item drop from Unknowns in the Faraway Lands.

 ______
/ BOSS \
+------+--------------+
| Telepath Tower #10 |
+--------*------------*
| HP | Status |
+--------+------------*
| ???? | Death |
*--------*------------*

This is the worst batch of towers with only a single status effect. As the
name says, Death will inflict instant death upon a character. Thankfully
it's only one character and it doesn't seem to hit that much, but you'll need
a bunch of Revive Fruits if you don't have that many Fallen Wards. If you
need Holy Grails, you can get one from Millenium Puzzle #5 or steal them from
Masa Gnomes around Laxisland.

 ______
/ BOSS \
+------+--------------+
| Telepath Tower #11 |
+--------*------------*
| HP | Status |
+--------+------------*
| ???? | Amnesia |
| ---- | Disease |
*--------*------------*

This is the first set of multi effect towers. Luckily for you, the status
effects they use aren't deadly at all, but since they give decent exp, Amnesia
might pose as a problem.

 ______
/ BOSS \
+------+--------------+
| Telepath Tower #12 |
+--------*------------*
| HP | Status |
+--------+------------*
| ???? | Sleep |
| ---- | Poison |
*--------*------------*

A deadly combination. If you're unprotected by both of these, you may find
yourself in a huge amount of trouble real fast.

 ______
/ BOSS \
+------+--------------+
| Telepath Tower #13 |
+--------*------------*
| HP | Status |
+--------+------------*
| ???? | Misery |
| ---- | Paralysis |
*--------*------------*

Nothing too bad here, but the Paralysis can prove to be an annoyance, so try to
have as many Blue Bracers equipped as possible.

 ______
/ BOSS \
+------+--------------+
| Telepath Tower #14 |
+--------*------------*
| HP | Status |
+--------+------------*
| ???? | Amnesia |
| ---- | Poison |
| ---- | Misery |
| ---- | Disease |
*--------*------------*

The only real dangerous part of this fight is the Poison status effect. As
long as you have at least Poison wards, this fight should be no problem.

 ______
/ BOSS \
+------+--------------+
| Telepath Tower #15 |
+--------*------------*
| HP | Status |
+--------+------------*
| ???? | Death |
| ---- | Confusion |
| ---- | Bronze |
| ---- | Sleep |
| ---- | Paralysis |
*--------*------------*

The second deadliest tower there is. For this one, I'd recommend using
Extension + Status Lock/Permanance as all those stats are a pain in the ass.
Sadly, Status Lock doesn't block out Fallen, so you'll need to have a few Holy
Grails equipped.

 ______
/ BOSS \
+------+--------------+
| Telepath Tower #00 |
+--------*------------*
| HP | Status |
+--------+------------*
| ???? | All |
*--------*------------*

You read that right. This Telepath Tower has ALL the status effects in the
game to throw at you, so Extension + Status Lock is pretty much your best
option, but make sure to have a few Holy Grails equipped for Fallen.

After you destroy all the towers, you need to fight some UFOs in the dunes in
your sandcraft. After you defeat enough of them, use Lombardia and blow the
rest out of the sky. You'll then be able to fight the mothership. IF YOU WISH
TO GAIN QUICK LEVELS, DO NOT DESTROY THE MOTHERSHIP. If you do, you won't be
able to encounter any Creeping Chaos's anymore.
