Introduction =============================================================================== Tony Hawk's Underground 2 is the sixth in a brilliant series of Tony Hawk games by Neversoft. It's hard to believe that the series has actually come this far and yet still hasn't started to feel old or boring to play. The level design is still superb, and even in earlier games in the series the levels were far more fluid and interactive than in nearly all other extreme sports games. Now the levels are even bigger and more packed than before, and the level of detail and interactivity that is evident in each and every one is outstanding. When you consider that nearly all extreme sports series (and there were many of them after the massive popularity in the genre caused by the original THPS) make it to two or three games at the most, a sixth game in the series is a remarkable achievement. It was a very important step after the fourth game for Neversoft to think of a way expanding the game so that players would not get tired of the same old system, as fun as it was. And so Tony Hawk's Underground was made, which succeeded in creating a detailed story mode, bigger levels, and most importantly of all, the ability to be able to get off the board so that levels could be explored in much greater detail than before. It would take something absolutely huge to top the massive list of new features of the previous game, and Tony Hawk's Underground 2 does fail here. The story mode lacks the depth of the original, and instead it focuses on a tour around six levels featuring goals similar to those in previous games. The addition of a classic mode is a very welcome addition however, and it is great to cruise around some of the old levels with the old goal format seen in THPS 1-3. Some of the newer levels in this mode do seem much too big to have a 2-minute timer, so the fun of exploring these levels in classic mode is slightly reduced. What must be remembered though, is that all of the sequels in this series were based on a game which revolved entirely around skateboarding. The fun in the original THPS was not the various modes or the detail of the story; the fun in the game was from just skating around the levels and doing tricks, finding gaps, completing goals, grinding a new rail or seeing how many points could be scored in a run. All of these things are still in Tony Hawk's Underground 2, and even if you take away all of the new features that have been added, you are still left with an extremely realistic and enjoyable skateboarding game. =============================================================================== 2. Tips on Scoring Points =============================================================================== 1. As with the previous game, skaters can now get off their boards and walk around the level. Press L1 + R1 at the same time to get off the board, and press L1 + R1 again to get back on. While off the board, you can jump by pressing X, and you can hold onto bars or edges by holding R1. Double jumps can be used to gain extra height, (Press X twice) though they can only be used when the skater is close to a wall. If you jump in the air while off the board and press L1 + R1, you will perform a Caveman. 2. A Caveman was first introduced in the previous game, and can be used as part of a combination. If you jump from a manual into a Caveman, a timer will start counting down. You can still run around when this happens, but you will need to continue the combination either by manualling, grinding, or doing some form of trick before the combo countdown ends. 3. Flip Tricks are board rotations. The basic eight flip tricks like the kickflip and heelflip are done by pressing a direction and square while in the air. To do more than one rotation, press square two or three times. So to triple kickflip, launch into the air and press left + square three times. Some extra movements can usually be found by pressing up or down twice before pressing square. Examples are the Sal Flip and Ollie North. 4. Not to be confused with flip tricks, flips have always featured in the past Tony Hawk games as special moves, but are introduced here for the first time as one of the normal moves. To do a flip, hold circle in the air and tap a direction on the d-pad twice. Down is a backflip, up is a frontflip and left or right is a roll. You can also spin the flips by holding L1 or R1. 5. Gaps are scattered in various places throughout all levels of the game. You will know when you find one as blue text will appear containing the name of the gap. Some of the more simple ones can be found by jumping over an object like a car or ledge, and these can be worked into combinations quite easily. The more difficult to find gaps will usually have a much higher point score, so your score will benefit if you can work these gaps into a combination. 6. Focus mode is a great new addition to the series which slows down the action so that the moves can be seen more clearly. It also makes spins much easier to land cleanly, as you have more time to adjust the landing in the air. Enter focus mode by pressing the left analog stick (L3) with a full special bar, and stay in focus mode longer by doing tricks. 7. Grabs are where the skater holds a part of the board in the air, and they can make a normal air look more interesting. There are eight basic grabs that are done by pressing a direction and circle and eight advanced grabs that are done by pressing a direction and circle twice. Grabs take longer to perform than flip tricks, so they are best done off a ramp or drop. 8. Grinds are one of the best ways of getting big points in the game, and there are lots of places to grind in every level. Benches, ledges, rails and walls; basically anything with an edge can be grinded. Not counting special moves and BS/FS variations, there are twenty grinds that can be performed. 50-50s and Boardslides are done by jumping on the rail at different angles and pressing triangle. Eight basic grinds are done by pressing a direction and triangle once. Eight advanced grinds are done by pressing a direction and triangle twice. Two extra grinds (Bluntslide and Nosebluntslide) are done by pressing down or up twice on the d-pad before pressing triangle. You can also switch between grinds on the same edge or rail. Do any grind and then press any of the top three shape buttons twice. So to change a 50-50 into a tailslide, press square and then triangle while grinding. You can then change this into different grinds for bigger points. 9. Hip transfers and spine transfers are great tricks to use in a combination. Find a quarter pipe which has another quarter pipe leading down on the other side. Ride up the first quarter pipe and tap R2 to spine transfer over the gap to the next quarter pipe. You can still do all of the grabs, spins and flips that you could do on a normal air. Hip transfers are similar, only you need to transfer over to a quarter pipe on the left or right side. 10. Lip tricks are moves where you stall on top of an edge instead of grind. To do a lip trick, approach the lip of any ramp straight on instead of at an angle like you would do for a grind. Like grinds, you can also combine different variations into one lip trick by using shape button combinations like circle twice or square, triangle. 11. Manuals are used to link a combination from one object to another, and are done by pressing up, then down on the d-pad. As an example, if there were two rails, you could grind the first rail and jump off to a manual at the end. The score will continue rising, and you can then grind on the second rail. Be careful though, as the longer you manual the more difficult it will be to balance. Tap up or down on the d-pad to keep the marker in the middle of the balance meter while manualling. While in a manual, flatland combinations can be performed by pressing the shape buttons twice. A 360 fingerflip can be done by pressing square twice, while a one foot manual is done by pressing circle and then triangle. Try out different shape button combinations in a manual to do different tricks, as tricks that have been done before in a run will not give as many points. 12. Natas spins are a new addition to the series, and can only be performed on posts. Approach any post in the game while holding R1, then jump on top of the post and hold triangle to start the Natas spin. Balance by tapping left or right on the d-pad, and continue rotating to increase the points. No combinations can be used on Natas spins, but they are great for getting points if you do a high scoring trick before or after the Natas spin. 13. There are a number of ways to jump in the game. An ollie is the simplest way, and is simply done by pressing X to crouch and then releasing X to jump. For more height, a No Comply can be used (Tap up before an ollie). And you can go even higher with a more difficult Boneless (Tap up twice before an ollie). A normal McTwist will only give 5,000 points, but if you combine it with a Boneless the score will rise to over 10,000 points. The stance of the skater can be changed by pressing L2. Hold L2 to change to Pressure stance, which can be used for some very quick flip tricks. Tap L2 to change to Nollie stance, where the skater jumps using the nose of the board instead of the tail. Press R2 to change to switch stance, or press R2 again to change back to regular stance. You will score more points while in switch stance, but you will also not gain as much height in the air. You can enter fakie (press R2) or switch pressure (Hold R2) in switch stance. 14. Reverts are used to continue a combination after landing back on a quarter pipe or half pipe. To do them, launch up in the air from the ramp and tap R2 after landing to revert. Quickly press up and then down on the d-pad to change into a manual. You will lose considerable speed after a revert, so try and link the revert to manual into a grind to increase speed. 15. On any level with moving vehicles, you can skitch behind the vehicles by skating up behind them and holding up on the d-pad to hold on. As well as being useful in completing some of the goals in story mode, this is also a great way of building up speed. When you let go, you will be able to do some big combos off a ramp due to the huge speed gained by the skitch. You can switch to different sides of the vehicle by pressing L1 and R1. 16. Special moves are tricks that require more complex button combinations than a regular move. They can be viewed in the start menu by selecting 'Your Options' - 'View Tricks'. A move like a McTwist will give 5,000 points, while the 900 will give over 10,000 points. If you do a special move on a quarter pipe or half pipe, revert to manual after landing and continue the combination by doing grinds or flatland combinations for extra points 17. Spins are done by jumping in the air and then pressing L1 (to spin left) or R1 (to spin right). On their own, spins don't look too impressive, but they can look great when combined with flips and grabs. When grinding, a good way of getting points is to jump from the grind on the rail, flip trick and spin at the same time before landing back on the grind. 18. A sticker slap is another new addition to the series, and can be used to jump away from a wall while putting a sticker on it. As the sticker slap can give quite high points, it can be very useful in a combo. To sticker slap, jump toward a wall and press down and X. 19. Approach any crate with throwable objects in it. Press circle to pick up the objects, and throw the objects at pedestrians by pressing square. The main use of throwing objects is in story mode, although the objects can still be found in career mode. Around 500 points are scored for each pedestrian hit, and this can be used in a combination for extra points. 20. Wallrides and wallies are very useful tricks to use in a run. Approach any wall in a level and jump toward it at an angle. Hold triangle to wallride, and then press X to wallie (jump) off the wallride. You will gain even more height up the wall if you Boneless onto the wallride. =============================================================================== 3. Story Mode Walkthrough =============================================================================== ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 3.1. Training ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- BASICS - LEARN TO OLLIE Ride down the left roll-in and continue forward to find Rodney Mullen at the left side of the long green rail. Talk to him by pressing circle, and he will challenge you to ollie three times. To ollie, just tap the X button. BASICS - MANUAL In the second part of the task, Rodney will ask you to manual through a set of cones. Start by riding toward the cones and then tapping up, down on the d-pad to start the manual. Manual through both cones to complete the goal. BASICS - GRIND THE RAIL Chad Muska will take over the training in this goal. Just ride straight forward toward the rail, jump and press triangle to grind along the rail. BASICS - NO COMPLY OVER THE TAXI A No Comply is used to gain greater height than an ollie. Ride toward the ramp at the side of the taxi and press up and X to No Comply over the taxi. BASICS - BONELESS OVER THE TAXI A Boneless is harder to perform than a No Comply, but can be used to gain even more height. Approach the ramp at the side of the taxi and hold X. Tap up twice on the d-pad and then release X to Boneless over the taxi. BASICS - KICKFLIP OVER THE GAP Ride toward the kicker ramp and jump at the top. While in the air, press left and square to kickflip over the gap and land on the next kicker ramp. BASICS - LIP THE QP Bob Burnquist is found in the middle of the half pipe. Talk to him, then ride forward and press triangle at the top of the ramp to perform a lip trick on the coping. Jump off to complete the goal. BASICS - QP GRIND Ride toward the top of the half pipe and hold triangle to grind along the top of the ramp. Grind down the slope at the end to complete the goal. BASICS - MELON OFF A VERT Hold X while riding up toward the top of the ramp and then let go of X at the top. Hold left and circle in the air to Melon, then land back on the half pipe. BASICS - LEARN TO SPIN Ride toward the top of the ramp again and jump at the top. In the air, hold L1 or R1 to spin at least a 360 before landing back on the ramp. BASICS - GET OUT OF A HALF PIPE Ride toward the top of the ramp again and jump at the top. In the air, hold L2 or R2 to exit the half pipe and land on the slope. BASICS - QP TRANSFER Ride toward the quarter pipe and tap left slightly on the d-pad. Jump from the first quarter pipe, clear the roll-in and land on the next quarter pipe. NOVICE - STICKER SLAP THE WALLS Talk to Chad Muska at the bottom of the left roll-in. Jump toward the wall and hold down and X to sticker slap. Do this five times to complete the goal. NOVICE - TEAR DOWN THE WALL Talk to Mike Vallely near the kicker ramp. Grind left along the top of the quarter pipe and sticker slap the crumbling wall to complete the goal. NOVICE - OPEN THE DOOR Ride toward the wall with the button on it and jump toward it. Hold triangle to wallride over the red button and open the door. NOVICE - WALLIE AND GRIND THE RAIL Talk to Bam Margera at the side of the funbox in the new warehouse area. Start by wallriding the wall, then jump and grind the rail. NOVICE - SPINE TRANSFER THE FUN BOX Talk to Bam Margera in the room under the big funbox in the new warehouse area after completing the 'Side Jumping Combo' goal. Exit the room and ride up the quarter pipe. Hold R2 while in the air to spine transfer into the bowl on the other side of the funbox. NOVICE - HIP TRANSFER Turn slightly left from the start point and ride forward to the quarter pipe. Transfer over the hip by holding R2 in the air. NOVICE - MY FIRST COMBO Talk to Eric Koston at the bottom of the roll-in in the new warehouse area. Grind left along the glowing blue quarter pipe and jump off at the end to grind on the rail. Jump off the end of the rail and grind the next quarter pipe. NOVICE - SIDE JUMPING COMBO Grind left along the quarter pipe and jump left at the end to grind on the rail. Jump right off the end of the rail and grind the next quarter pipe. NOVICE - SKITCH THE FORKLIFT Talk to Chad Muska near the ledge in the original warehouse area. Hold up behind the forklift and hold on for ten seconds to complete the goal. NOVICE - DO A REAL COMBO Talk to Bam Margera near the roll-in in the new warehouse section. Ride toward the quarter pipe and do any grab in the air by pressing a direction on the d-pad and the circle button. Revert (R2) into a manual (up, down or down, up) after landing to complete the goal. NOVICE - DO A MCTWIST Talk to Bam Margera near the roll-in in the new warehouse section. Get a full special bar by performing tricks and then ride toward a quarter pipe. Jump at the top and press right, down and circle in the air to McTwist. OFF BOARD - CAVEMAN TIME Talk to Mike Vallely near the crates in the new warehouse area. Get off the board by pressing L1 + R1 at the same time. Jump and press L1 + R1 to Caveman. Do this three times to complete the goal. OFF BOARD - JUMP ON THE CRATES Get off the board by pressing L1 + R1 and jump on top of the low crate. Drop off the crate and walk toward the double crate on the right. Jump normally, then jump again while in the air to land on top of the crate. OFF BOARD - JUMP AND HANG Run forward and jump from the edge of the crate. Hold R1 in the air to grab onto the ledge, then press up to climb on top of the ledge. OFF BOARD - CLIMB THE LADDER Walk forward to the ladder and continue holding up to climb to the top. OFF BOARD - SHIMMY TO THE OPENING Walk slowly off the ledge to grab onto the edge. Hold right to shimmy across to the right side of the sign, then tap up to climb into the opening. OFF BOARD - ACID DROP Ride forward and jump at the end of the opening. Hold R2 while in the air to acid drop down into the bowl below. NEW SCHOOL - DO A BACKFLIP Ride forward to the quarter pipe and hold circle while in the air. Press down twice while holding circle to do a backflip. NEW SCHOOL - DO A ROLL Ride forward to the quarter pipe and hold circle while in the air. Press right twice while holding circle to do a roll. NEW SCHOOL - VERT WALLPLANT SESSION Talk to Bob Burnquist at the bottom-left corner of the new warehouse area. Ride up the quarter pipe and hold X at the top to perform a vert wallplant. Do this three times to complete the goal. NEW SCHOOL - FUN WITH TOMATOES Talk to Eric Koston at the back of the new warehouse area. Ride near the crate and press circle to pick up 10 tomatoes. Turn toward Phil and throw a tomoato by pressing square. Hit him with five tomatoes to complete the goal. NEW SCHOOL - TAG THE PLACE Talk to Chad Muska near the entrance to the new warehouse section. There are five posters in this new section which need to be tagged. To tag a poster, get off the board first by pressing L1 + R1, and then press triangle. One poster is found on the wall on top of the double crate, three posters are found on the wall at the right side of the area, and the final poster is found high up on a wall at the top-right corner of the area. To get to this poster, climb up the yellow pipe on the platform of the quarter pipe. NEW SCHOOL - HANG'N TAG Chad will want the poster to be tagged. Jump on top of the double crate and jump over to the ledge with the ladder on the right. Climb up to the ledge at the top of the ladder. Walk slowly off the ledge to hang onto the edge, then shimmy right to the sign. Press triangle to tag the sign. NEW SCHOOL - KEEP THE FOCUS Talk to Tony Hawk in front of the doors at the start point of the level. Get a full special bar, then enter focus mode by pressing the left analog stick (L3). Stay in focus mode for the required time to complete the goal. NEW SCHOOL - ARCADE MACHINE HIGH SCORE Play the arcade machine on the ledge in the original warehouse area. Score the required points within one minute to complete the goal. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 3.2. Boston ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- YOU - FIND THE SPECIAL GUEST Ride down the slope in front of Jeers at the top of the level and enter the door at the bottom of the slope to find the special guest, Jesse James. YOU - FIND BEN FRANKLIN There is a quarter pipe at either side of the statehouse at the top of the level. Launch up from the quarter pipe and tap R2 in the air to smash through the glass. Ride along the tunnel and follow Ben Franklin into the door. YOU - MARK YOUR TERRITORY Get off the board by pressing L1 + R1, then face the sign. Press the triangle button to spray the tag over the sign. 1. At the right side of the steps leading up to the church. 2. On the grass area at the right side of the statehouse. 3. On the opposite side of the road from the burning barrel near the cannons. 4. On the platform with the quarter pipes above the entrance to the hospital. 5. On the side of the massive quarter pipes in the construction area. YOU - HOSPITAL DUTY Press circle near the gurney in front of the hospital to start the goal. Run forward between the two volcanoes and go down the alley on the other side of the road. Quarter turn right at the end and run up to the top of the road, then quarter turn left and ride forward to the end of the road to complete the goal. YOU - ARCADE MACHINE HIGH SCORE Play the arcade machine in front of the Welcome Center at the side of Jeers. Score the required points within one minute to complete the goal. YOU - DANCE, SUCKA Play the boombox at the top of the common stairs near the statehouse. Perform each of the displayed tricks when the text turns red to complete the goal. YOU - DECAPITATE THE STATUES Spine transfer over the quarter pipes at either side of the steps leading up to the statehouse to remove the first two statue heads. Spine transfer over the statue in the park and press L1 + R1 to land on the platform with the horse statue. Double jump to the top of the statue to remove the final statue head. YOU - COMBO ON THE RV RAMP After completing the 'Jump the Cars' goal with the secret character, jump on the RV ramp which is travelling along the road and land a combo which meets the required points. Doing handplant variations is a great way of getting points. PRO - COMBO THE 4 BENCHES The four benches are found at the side of the park in the middle of the level. Grind down the top bench and drop onto the second bench. Jump at the end of the second bench and grind the next two benches to complete the goal. PRO - YE OLDE CANNON GRIND Two cannons are found at the bottom of the park in the middle of the level. Grind either cannon to complete this goal. PRO - SKITCH A SEAWORTHY VEHICLE Find the Water Tour vehicle that is travelling along the road. Skate up behind and hold up on the d-pad to skitch the vehicle for the required time. PRO - SALUTE THE GENERAL Ride to the statue of Washington in the middle of the park. Use the quarter pipe on either side of the statue to Benihana (Down + Left + Circle) spine transfer over the top of the statue. PRO - GREAT BALLS OF FIRE Jump through the burning barrel near the cannons at the bottom of the level. Score the required points in a combination to complete the goal. PRO - SLAP THE SIGNS Jump toward the no skating signs and press down + X to do a sticker slap. 1. At the left side of the massive quarter pipes in the construction area. 2. At the left side of the grass area in front of the statehouse. 3. In front of the scaffolding at the right side of the steps to the church. 4. On the wall at the side of the bank, above the ATM machine. Grind the wall at the top of the steps in this area and jump off at the end to get enough height for a sticker slap on the fourth sign. PRO - TAG A BIG BILLBOARD Enter the construction area at the bottom of the level and climb up the yellow pipe at the right side of the area. Jump off to the platform at the top, and then jump across to the higher platform to see a billboard with a red rectangle on it. Tag the rectangle to complete the goal. PRO - FINEST RAILS IN BOSTON Ride to the side of the bank at the top of the level to find the curved metal sculpture. Face toward the road and grind the sculpture. Drop off at the end and ride along the road toward Jeers. Grind the rail in front of jeers. Quarter turn left after landing and grind the rail on the steps to complete the goal. GUEST - ALL ABOUT THE BENJAMINS Ride to the entrance to the bank at the top of the level to see a tiny quarter pipe on the left. Use this quarter pipe to launch right up to the second floor of the bank. Ride forward after landing in the bank to complete the goal. GUEST - COMBO ON THE HIGH SEAS Use the quarter pipe at the side of the construction area to launch forward onto the boat. Score the required points in a combination to complete the goal. GUEST - SKATE THE LIBERTY TRAIL Run to the top of the statehouse steps and then get back on the board. Pop Shove-It down the steps, and ride down the road toward the library. Use the quarter pipes on either side to transfer over the glowing mural. Quarter turn left after landing and use the quarter pipe at the far side of the construction area to launch forward onto the boat. Run to the top of the boat and climb up the ladder to the crow's nest. Jump off the crow's nest and acid drop down to the quarter pipe below to complete the goal. GUEST - TEAM CHALLENGE Knock the inline skater down by riding into him, and then kickflip over the skater with the normal character, the pro character and the guest character. SECRET - KILL THE GRIND BLOCKERS Grind around the vent at the side of the hospital to remove the four blockers. SECRET - JUMP THE CARS Jump over any three cars in the level (making sure that you get the 'Car Hop' gap on each one) to complete this simple goal. This will unlock the RV ramp needed for the 'Combo on the RV ramp' goal. SECRET - SCOOTER VS WHEELCHAIR Talk to Paulie in the area at the side of the bank to start the race. Ride to the road and take the second turn on the left to make it to the church steps. Continue forward to the end of the road and turn left at the end to race around the library. Keep going forward to the hospital entrance, then quarter turn left and race back to the government center to complete the goal. SECRET - SPINE TRANSFER TOUR 1. Spine transfer over the closed subway entrance at the side of the bank. 2. Spine transfer over either volcano in front of the hospital. 3. Enter the construction area and spine transfer from the quarter pipe into the boat to complete the goal. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 3.3. Barcelona ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- YOU - FREE THE BULL FIGHTER Ride to the front of the lizard fountain in the Guell area and quarter turn right. Skate forward to enter the area with the bull fighter hanging onto a rope above the bull cage. Quarter turn right and ride down to the road to get some tomatoes from the crate, then return to the area with the bull. Throw a tomato at the bull to complete the goal. YOU - FIND THE SPECIAL GUEST Skate through the doors of the Plaza Paralela behind the building with the catapult on the roof to find Steve-O on the top floor. YOU - HIT 5 PEDS WITH TOMATOES Ride along the road at the bottom of the level to find a crate of tomatoes near the pier. Get some tomatoes by pressing circle, and then throw the tomatoes at five different pedestrians to complete the goal. YOU - SPINE THE GUELL PLANTERS Ride up the right slope behind the lizard fountain and quarter turn right at the top to see a quarter pipe. Use the ramp to launch up to the Sants awning in front of the building with the yellow 'Barcelona - Sants' sign on it. The sign is found on the platform of this building. 4. Found on the wall at the right side of the glass building with the blue 'Museo Del Arte Moderno' sign on it. 5. On the wall at the right side of the Guell area with the lizard fountain. YOU - TAKE OUT THE TRASH Natas Spin on any four trash cans in the level. Here are four places in the level where trash cans can be found. 1. In front of the red and white striped wall at the left side of the Guell area with the lizard fountain. 2. At the top of the Guell area with the lizard fountain. This trash can is found behind the world's longest bench. 3. At the bottom of the steps near the left side of the glass building with the blue 'Museo Del Arte Moderno' sign on it. 4. In front of the building with the yellow 'Barcelona - Sants' sign on it. YOU - ARCADE MACHINE HIGH SCORE The arcade machine is found at the front-left corner of the building with the yellow 'Barcelona - Sants' sign on it. Score the required points within one minute to complete the goal. PRO - COMBO THE SANTS BENCHES Ride to either side of the series of benches in front of the building with the yellow 'Barcelona - Sants' sign on it. Grind along the first bench and keep holding triangle to grind along all of the remaining benches. PRO - CATAPULT 720 GRAB Skate through the doorway of the building with the purple 'Museo Del Medevil' sign on it. The skater will be launched by a catapult as soon as they arrive on the roof, so hold L1 or R1 to spin 720 and do any grab to complete the goal. PRO - TAG THE BIG BILLBOARD Enter the red tram building at the top of the Guell area to arrive on top of the tram station. Grind along either wire toward the billboard in the distance, then jump and hold R1 + L1 to get off the board. Immediately hold R1 to grab onto the wire. Shimmy along and jump up to the small ledge on the front of the billboard. Tag the front of the billboard to complete the goal. PRO - FOCUS COMBOS Get a full special bar and then enter focus mode by pressing the left analog stick (L3). Perform three focus combinations that meet the required points to complete the goal. These can consist of grabs and grinds, although flatland tricks are a very easy way of getting big points here. PRO - RAIL RATED CHALLENGE There are three rails in front of the building with the yellow 'Barecelona - Sants' sign on it. Grind the three rails starting from the one in front of the arcade machine. Jump off the end of the third rail and sticker slap the sign, then grind the rail on the second floor of the station to complete the goal. PRO - TRANSFER OVER THE GUELL ENTRANCE Ride up the right slope behind the lizard fountain and quarter turn right at the top to see a quarter pipe. Spine transfer from this quarter pipe and the next quarter pipe. Turn slightly right after landing and air from the quarter pipe in front over to the quarter pipe on the other side of the fountain. PRO - ACID DROP OFF A TRAM Enter the red tram building at the top of the Guell area to arrive on top of the tram station. Jump onto the top of one of the trams and stay on it until you get near the building with the fans on top. Jump off the tram and acid drop down to the quarter pipe on the other side of this building. PRO - TEAM CHALLENGE Complete the 'Free the Bull Fighter' goal to release the bull. Ride into the bull to get launched into the air, and then perform a combination of the required points with all four characters to complete the goal. GUEST - LA PERDRERA SPIRAL RAIL Enter the red tram building at the top of the Guell area to arrive on top of the tram station. Grind the right wire and jump right to land on top of the La Perdrera building. Grind the ledge on top of this building, and continue the grind down the spiral rail to complete the goal. GUEST - SMELLS LIKE BULL DUNG Do any grab trick off any pile of bull dung in the level. GUEST - MAKE YOUR OWN PHOENIX Jump over the burning car at the start of the pier to set the board on fire. Enter the building with the purple 'Museo De Medevil' sign on the other side of the road to get launched up by the catapult. GUEST - DON'T TOUCH THE GROUND There is a small sloped rail near the burning car at the start of the pier. Grind up the rail and jump to a grind on top of the red rail on the bridge. Jump right at the end and grind the next red rail, then jump back to a grind on the left red rail. Grind to the end of the rail to complete the goal. SECRET - STEVE-O VS. THE BULL Complete the 'Free the Bull Fighter' goal to release the bull. Ride into the bull as it charges toward Steve-O to complete the goal. SECRET - PARC GUELL COMBO The Guell area is found at the top of the level, on either side of the lizard fountain. Score the required points by using a combination in this area. SECRET - YEE HAW! FAN BOOST Enter the red tram building at the top of the Guell area to arrive on top of the tram station. Grind along either wire and then jump down to the roof of the building with the fans on top. Ride over the fans to launch into the air, do a Yee Haw! by pressing circle and then acid drop into a quarter pipe. SECRET - FLIP BARCELONA'S FINEST 1. Jump on any table in front of the building with the yellow 'Barcelona - Sants' sign on it and do a flip trick off the end. 2. Grind the ledge in front of the glass building with the blue 'Museo Del Arte Moderno' sign on it and flip trick off the end. 3. After completing the 'Help Peg Leg' goal, cross over the pier and continue forward to arrive in an area with some concrete waves. PRO - ALMIGHTY COMBO Spine transfer into the church at the corner of the level, and then score a combination of the required points inside the church to complete the goal. PRO - LEARN THE NATAS SPIN Talk to Natas in the middle of the road near the front of the church. Hold R1 and jump onto the poles near Natas, then hold triangle to Natas Spin. Do this three times to complete the goal. PRO - HATS ON FIRE Grind the pipe in front of the church to set the skateboard on fire. Jump over the two guards wearing green in the area near the aquarium. Quarter turn right and jump over the third guard at the side of the rail to complete the goal. Ride up the slope to the courtyard and grind the planter. Use the quarter pipe in front to launch up to a grind left along the middle ledge of the building. Jump off the end of the ledge and grind the ledge on the next building. Jump off the end of the ledge and grind the edge of the fountain to complete the goal. SECRET - WHEELIN' COMBO Score of combination of the required points to complete the goal. Flatland combinations aren't possible, so use grabs or grinds to get the points. SECRET - SKILLS ON WHEELS Skate through the doors of the Ausfarht Center to arrive on the roof. Air off the ramps at the right side of the roof and Sit Flip (Any direction + square) before spine transferring down to the quarter pipe at the top of the steps. Transfer from the high quarter pipe down to the low quarter pipe. PRO - BALANCE UP AND OVER The walkway is found near the top of the level. Get a full special bar and manual up the slope of the walkway, along the flat and down the other slope. GUEST - SHRIMP SLAP Get some shrimp at the bottom of the slope on the boardwalk and then jump down onto the beach. Throw shrimp at five different life guards on the beach and boardwalk areas to complete the goal. GUEST - ROLLIN' ROLLIN' ROLLIN' There is a yellow house at the left side of the walkway in the middle of the level. Use the quarter pipe at the left side of the house to spine transfer up to the quarter pipe on the roof of the house. Spine transfer over the spine, then ride over the vent at the end of the roof to launch into the air. Do two Rotisseries (Left, Down + Circle) in the air and land on the roof of the red house to complete the goal. GUEST - SEAGULL SCATTER The aim in this goal is to scare ten seagulls. Ride up the quarter pipe at the right side of the boardwalk and launch forward to land on the ledge. Grind left along the edge of the ledge, which leads onto a wire above the beach. Grind all the way along the wire to scare nine of the birds, then jump off the end of the wire and grind on the rails to scare the final bird and complete the goal. GUEST - REAL MEN FLIP STAIRS The big stair set leads up from the boardwalk. Get a full special bar at the top of the steps and then enter focus mode by pressing the left analog stick (L3). New Orleans ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- YOU - ARCADE MACHINE HIGH SCORE Skate to the riverboat and face the road to see a room at the top of the right building. Use the quarter pipe on the side of the building to launch into this room, and then walk forward to find the arcade machine. Score the required points within one minute to complete the goal. YOU - DANCE, DANCE, DANCE Enter 'The Fan Club' near the front of the church and jump on the dance floor to arrive on the roof. The boombox is found on this roof. Perform each of the displayed tricks when the text turns red to complete the goal. YOU - RIVERBOAT SLAPPER The riverboat is found at the end of the small pier. Jump from the end of the pier and sticker slap the riverboat three times. The riverboat will get further away each time you sticker slap, so by the third time you may need to Boneless over the rail of the pier to get enough distance for the sticker slap. YOU - FIND THE JESTER Sticker slap the float that is riding around the roads to find the Jester. YOU - MARK YOUR TERRITORY 1. Enter the doors of the 'Gentlemen Cafe' near the cemetary to arrive on the Green Goddess roof. The sign is found on the back of the billboard. 2. Enter the blue doors at the junction in the road in the middle of the level to arrive on 'Boo-Ya's Bottomless Rooftop'. Skate up the slope leading to the helipad on this roof to find the sign. 3. On the wall of the alley with the dumpster near the cemetary. 4. There is an alley near the cemetary which has banners with 'Humidity' above the two spine ramps. The sign is found on the wall in this alley. 5. Use the quarter pipe near Tony Hawk to jump up to the ledge of the building. The sign is found on the wall on this ledge. YOU - WATER TOWER SLAP Enter the doors of the 'Gentlemen Cafe' near the cemetary to arrive on the Green Goddess roof with the water tower. Jump over to the roof of the building on the right to see a vent. Use this vent to launch over to the roof with the water tower, and sticker slap the tower to complete the goal. YOU - RAISE THE DEAD Grind all five of the crypts in the cemetary to complete the goal. This will open a hole leading to the underworld in the middle of the level. YOU - SAVE NAWLINS Complete the 'Raise the Dead' goal to open the hole in the middle of the level. Spine transfer into the hole and grind on the ring above the fire. Jump off and use the quarter pipes in front of the church to airwalk over the statue. YOU - THE EQUALIZER This goal appears after completing the New Orleans level. Enter the blue doorway at the junction in the road in the middle of the level to arrive on 'Boo-Ya's Bottomless Rooftop'. Use the quarter pipe to jump up to the part of the roof with the helipad. Grab onto the bottom of the helicopter and wait for it to move over the building with the bowl. Drop off the helicopter and acid drop into the building with the bowl. Launch up from the other side and grab onto the helicopter. Acid drop into the bowl on the next building and spine transfer over the helicopter to the bowl on the next roof to complete the goal. PRO - NAWLINS STREET SPINE Enter the blue doorway at the junction in the road in the middle of the level to enter 'Boo-Ya's Bottomless Rooftop'. Spine transfer from the quarter pipe on this roof over to the quarter pipe on the next building to complete the goal. PRO - WALLIE THE TROLLEY Jump onto the side of the red streetcar that rides up and down the tracks near the river and hold triangle to wallride it. Jump off to wallie. PRO - SPINE TRANSFER COMBO Enter the blue doorway at the junction in the road in the middle of the level to arrive on 'Boo-Ya's Bottomless Rooftop'. Skate up the slope leading to the helipad on this roof. Spine transfer from the quarter pipe and revert to a manual after landing on the quarter pipe on the road. Spine transfer up to the bowl on the next roof and revert to manual after landing. Spine transfer from the bowl down to the next quarter pipe on the road to complete the goal. PRO - TAG THE BIG BILLBOARD Enter the yellow doors at the junction in the middle of the level to arrive on Josh O'Brien's roof. Quarter turn right and spine transfer down to the bowl on the next roof, then air out the other side of the pool and grab onto the pipes on the red building. Climb up the pipes and tag the billboard at the top. PRO - MANHOLE MANUAL The manholes can be found on the road leading away from the steamboat on the river. Manual over the five manholes on the road in one combination. PRO - FOR THE BIRDS Enter the blue doorway at the junction in the road in the middle of the level to arrive on 'Boo-Ya's Bottomless Rooftop'. Quarter turn left and spine transfer from the quarter pipe at the other side of the roof. Launch up from the quarter pipe on the other side of the road to scare the three birds. PRO - GASLAMP DISTRICT Grind the blue rails on the road near the river and jump off the slope at the end to grind the gaslamps. Do this for all three gaslamps to complete the goal. PRO - BIG AND FOCUSED Get a full special bar and then enter focus mode by pressing the left analog stick (L3). Perform a combinations that meets the required points. GUEST - GIRLS GONE CRAZY PARADE Get the beads from the box near Tony Hawk. Jump onto the float that is riding around the roads and throw beads at five dancing girls to complete the goal. GUEST - DROP A HURRICANE There is a huge red drink in the the courtyard of the Hurricane bar. Use the small slope in the area and acid drop (R2) into the drink to complete the goal. GUEST - TEAM CHALLENGE Land a special trick on the grass area in front of the church with the custom character, pro character and the Jester to complete the goal. GUEST - BALCONY BREAKER This challenge is easier with the secret character, who is found at the back of the cemetary. Ride forward from the front of the cemetary and use the planter at the side of the 'Royale' building to launch up through the three balaconies. SECRET - TRICYCLE VS. ZOMBIE Grind all five of the crypts in the cemetary to raise the dead, and then ride into ten of the zombies around the city to complete the goal.` SECRET - SUPER TRASH There is a big dumpster in the alley near the cemetary. Superman Seatgrab (Any direction + Circle) over the dumpster to complete the goal. SECRET - NATAS NEVERSOFT There is a Neversoft eyeball sign on the front fence of the cemetary. Natas Spin on the spike on top of the sign for ten seconds to complete the goal. Score the required points within one minute to complete the goal. YOU - LOCATE THE CHAINSAW Ride up the hill from the pile of garbage to see a bowl with wooden beams above it. Climb up the tree at the right side of the bowl to find the chainsaw. YOU - THE LEGEND OF BIGFOOT After completing the 'Locate the Chainsaw' goal, Bigfoot is found standing outside the entrance to the mine. YOU - ZIPLINE TOSS DROP The zipline is found on the second level at the right side of the mountain face. Use the zipline to launch into the air, then acid drop into the quarter pipe on top of the mountain to complete the goal. YOU - LAUNCH THE FIREWORK The pile of garbage is found near the barn at the top of the level. Ride over the garbage and jump to launch onto the roof of the barn. Jump up to the platform of the bowl and drop off the edge of the cliff to land on the ledge of the billboard. Tag the billboard to complete the goal. YOU - MARK YOUR TERRITORY 1. On the back of the 'Skatopia' sign near the entrance to the level. 2. On the left side of the barn at the top of the level. 3. Ride over the garbage and jump to launch onto the roof of the barn. Drop off the right side of the roof to find the sign on the wall. 4. At the front of the big cliff, this sign is found on the wall at the right side of the red ropes. Hold onto the cliff edge to tag the sign. 5. On the side of the small hut near the mine entrance at the top of the hill. YOU - FIND RYAN SHECKLER Climb up the ladder at the front of the barn at the top of the level, then jump into the small room above the doors to find Ryan. YOU - ESCAPE LINE This goal appears after completing the 'Evacuate the Dogs' goal. Manual down the hill from the start point of the goal and ride over the launch ramp at the end. Land in a manual, and ride toward the 'Skatopia' sign near the entrance to the level to complete the goal. PRO - TREE TOP SPIN AND DROP Climb up to the top of any tree in the level and jump. Land in a Natas Spin on the top of the tree, then jump off and acid drop into a quarter pipe. PRO - MOUNTAIN TOP MANUAL Ride up to the hill at the top of the cliff. Manual all the way down the path from the top of the cliff to the entrance of Skatopia. PRO - LUMBERJACK COMBO There is a zipline at the left side of the big house near the entrance to the level. Grab onto the bar to ride up to the log at the top of the zipline. Grind all three of the logs in this area to complete the goal. PRO - SPINE THE MINE Spine transfer from the quarter pipe at the at the top of the cliff into the mine behind the small hut to complete the goal. PRO - SKATOPIA SPINE COMBO Ride up to the top of the cliff and spine transfer from the quarter pipe on the left. Revert to manual on the quarter pipe at the bottom of the cliff, then spine transfer from the next quarter pipe into the garage. Revert to manual in the garage bowl and launch up from the other side. Revert to manual in the bowl and then spine transfer out of the garage to complete the goal. PRO - DOWNHILL LINE Ride up to the top of the cliff and half turn at the top. Grind down the right quarter pipe and jump right before the corner to grind on the edge of the pond. Jump off the edge of the pond and manual to the quarter pipe in front. Grind down the quarter pipe and jump off the end to grind on the bowl in the garage. Jump off the end of the bowl and land in a manual. Wallride up the side of the trailer and grind the top, then drop off the end and land in a manual. Grind around the bowl in front and jump off the end to grind on the curved ledge in front of the 'Skatopia' sign to complete the goal. PRO - JUMP TO THE WEATHER BALLOON Use the small launch ramp at the side of the entrance to the mine at the top of the hill to jump onto the wire below the weather balloon. PRO - SCRAPE THE HIVES 1. Grind the fence on top of the quarter pipe at the right side of the barn, and wallride the wall at the end to find the first hive. 2. Above the quarter pipe on the big grass hill with the zipline. Grind the top of the quarter pipe and then jump off into a wallride over the hive. 3. Above the path with the bowling pins behind the barn. 4. Found on the second level at the right side of the mountain face, on the same path as the vertical zipline. 5. On the front of the garage at the side of the level. PRO - SPIN BOMB This goal appears after completing the Skatopia level. Climb onto the roof of the big house at the bottom of the level and then climb up the ladder to the top of the Spin Bomb. Grind around the outside of the ride four times. PRO - ROCKETS BATTERY This goal appears after completing the Skatopia level. Natas Spin on any of the rockets at the side of the garage to complete the goal. PRO - FOUNTAIN O GLORY This goal appears after completing the Skatopia level. The Fountain O Glory is found near the front of the barn. Climb up the green fuse at the front of the Fountain O Glory, and then grind down it to complete the goal. PRO - BOX BOMBS This goal appears after completing the Skatopia level. Jump on all of the boxes near the pile of garbage at the top of the level. PRO - GIANT BOMB This goal appears after completing the Skatopia level. Climb to the top of the big globe at the top of the hill to complete the goal. PRO - EVACUATE THE DOGS This goal appears after completing the previous five pro goals. Ride forward down the path to rescue the first three dogs, then turn right to rescue the next four dogs in front of the barn. Continue down the hill on the right to rescue two dogs near the Fountain O Glory. Go down the hill to pick up the cat, then ride to the left side of the Rockets Battery. Continue forward to rescue the next two dogs, and then go around the right side of the 'Skatopia' sign to rescue two more dogs. Ride to the entrance of the level to complete the goal. GUEST - ONE LONE ELECTRIC WIRE Use the quarter pipe at the top of the cliff to launch up to a grind on the wire leading down toward the area with the barn. Grind all the way down the wire to the bottom of the level to complete the goal. GUEST - SHACK ATTACK Manual through the shack at the left side of the big house near the bottom of the level. Manual after appearing at the top of the cliff, and grind the top of the quarter pipe on the right. Grind all the way down the quarter pipe and jump off near the end, then manual through the shack at the right side of the house. GUEST - OVER THE HOUSE Ride to the hill at the top of the cliff to see the bowl with the wooden beams above it. Spine transfer from this bowl down to the quarter pipe at the bottom of the cliff, then use the ramp in front to launch over the top of the house. GUEST - ZIPLINE WIRE BOMB There is a zipline at the left side of the big house near the entrance to the level. Grab onto the bar to ride up to the log at the top of the zipline. Grind along this log in the direction of the zipline, then jump off the end and grind down the zipline. Jump near the end of the wire and acid drop into the quarter pipe below to complete the goal. SECRET - SKATOPIA TRANSFER There is a quarter pipe behind the 'Skatopia' sign near the entrance to the level. Use the quarter pipe to jump across the gap to the next quarter pipe. SECRET - GROW SOME PLANTS To grow the plants, Bigfoot Flip over the three square plant borders. 1. At the left side of the big house at the bottom of the level. 2. On the grass near the circular pool at the top of the level. 3. Near the half pipe at the left side of the barn. SECRET - A CLEAR PATH There is a thin slope at the right side of the big slope below the zipline. Manual down the thin slope and jump off the ramp at the end. SECRET - MANUAL UP A SLOPE There is a zipline at the left side of the big house near the entrance to the level. Manual up the slope below the zipline. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 5.8. Pro Skater ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1. There are quarter pipes on either side of the main area of this level. Ride up the quarter pipe and grind on the orange rail on the second level. Jump to a grind on the red pipe, then the blue pipe, and finally the green pipe. Grind to the end of the green pipe and sticker slap the button at the end. Grind the green rail in the opposite way and sticker slap the second button to open a warp leading to the temple section. 2. Get off the board in the temple section and tag the five idols. The first and second idols are found at the sides of the slope outside the temple, the third and fourth idols are found at the sides of the temple near the entrance and the fifth idol is found on the second floor at the back of the temple. Enter the warp at the front of the temple to travel to hell. 3. Ride to the back of hell to see a quarter pipe on either side. Jump forward from the crumbling sections of the quarter pipe and sticker slap the buttons to open the door leading to the lounge. You can enter a door at the right side of the lounge to see the devil dance. =============================================================================== 4. Career Mode Walkthrough =============================================================================== ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 4.1. Barcelona ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- HIGH SCORE / PRO SCORE / SICK SCORE 1. The Guell area at the top of the level is a place full of ledges and rails, and also includes the Worlds Longest Bench that can be used for some long grind combinations. The three spines at the right side of the area are also great for scoring big points. 2. Enter the castle to get launched by the catapult on the roof. You will have time for a big trick in the air, and you can even land in a manual on the next roof to continue the combination. 3. Cross the bridge over the water to arrive in an area with various spines, bumps and bowls. If you enter the shop in this area, you can grind down a wire leading to a boat in the water. The grind on the wire soon leads onto the red rail of the bridge, so use various grind combos on this rail. HIGH COMBO 1. There are three green spines in the area on the other side of the bridge. Air up the first spine and do a grab, flip trick or special move in the air. Revert to manual after landing and do another trick on the second spine. Do the same thing on the third spine and land to complete the combo. 2. There are eight benches in front of the 'Barcelona - Sants' building. Doing a basic grind along all of them gives about 2,500 points. Manual off the end and grind on the red rail at the side of the bridge to complete the combo. 3. The big bridge leading over the water has a long red rail at either side that can be used for some long grind combinations. Do some manual flatland tricks on the bridge, and then jump to a grind on the rail. Keep doing grind combinations on the rail and drop off the end to complete the combo. COLLECT S-K-A-T-E S. Grind the wire between the two bus stops in front of the building with the yellow 'Barcelona - Sants' sign on the front for the S. K. Ride up the quarter pipes in front of the building near the small fountain for the K. A. Grind the high red and white striped wall in front of the lizard fountain and then jump at the end for the A. T. Above the road near the front of the the 'Museo Del Medevil' building with the catapult on the roof. Grind the wall in front of the glass building and jump off the end for the T. E. On the high red rail of the long bridge crossing over the water. There is a small sloped rail near the start of the pier. Grind up the rail and jump to a grind on top of the red rail on the bridge for the E. COLLECT C-O-M-B-O Grind the left ledge from the start point for the C. Jump right near the corner in the ledge and grind the red rail for the O and M, then jump off the end of the rail and land in a manual. Jump up to a grind on the wall for the B, then jump right and manual up the quarter pipe for the O. COLLECT 5 TAPAS Cross over the big bridge to arrive in the area with the five tapas. 1. Above the quarter pipe near the entrance to the red tram station. 2. Above the yellow rail at the side of the big building. 3. Grind the wire above the water at the side of the area. 4. On the awning at the front of the building. Use the sloped planter to launch up to the top of the awning. 5. On the wall at the side of the three green spines. GET THE SECRET TAPE There is a small sloped rail near the start of the pier. Grind up the rail and jump to a grind on top of the red rail. Near the end of the rail, jump right and grind the next red rail for the secret tape. MANUAL THE SUBWAY The subway entrance is found on the right from the start point. Manual into the subway and manual up the slope on the other side to complete the goal. GRIND THE WORLD'S LONGEST BENCH The world's longest bench is found at the top of the Guell area with the lizard fountain, near the front of the entrance to the red tram station. Grind all the way along the bench to complete the goal. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 4.2. Australia ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- HIGH SCORE / PRO SCORE / SICK SCORE 1. Natas spin on the fire hydrant at the side of the yellow crane at the top of the level to open an entrance to the secret area. Ride through the hole made by the crane and go through the 'Outback Tours' door. Ride through the door to the secret area to find a big bowl in the middle which can be used for airs or long grinds around the lip of the bowl. 2. There is a yellow house at the left side of the walkway in the middle of the level. Use the quarter pipe at the left side of the house to spine transfer up to the quarter pipe on the roof of the house. Spine transfer over the spine, then ride over the vent at the end of the roof to launch into the air. You will have plenty of air time for a big trick here. 3. There is a ladder on the building at the right side of the burger billboard sign. Climb up the ladder and quarter turn right at the top. Skate off the end of the ledge and acid drop down to the pool below. Use the speed to get a big air out of the other side of the pool. HIGH COMBO 1. Ride up the quarter pipe at the right side of the boardwalk and launch forward to land on the ledge. Grind left along the edge of the ledge, which leads onto a very long wire above the beach. Perform grind combinations all the way along the wire to complete the combo. 2. There is a pool at the left side of the beach which has water in it. The water will slow the skater down, so grind the yellow rail outside of the pool to drain the water. Use air combinations like flips and spins, but avoid grinds in the pool as there is a gap at one corner. Revert to manual after landing each air until you have enough points to complete the combo. 3. There is a long road at the top of the level with a wall on one side. You can do manual flatland combinations along the road before jumping to a grind on the wall. Jump off the end of the wall and Natas Spin on the fire hydrant near the statue at the end of the road to complete the combo. COLLECT S-K-A-T-E S. Ride forward through the arch from the start point and quarter turn left to see a red house. Ride to the other side of the house and use the quarter pipe to spine transfer up to the quarter pipe on the roof of the house. Ride forward after landing for the S. K. There is a blue awning at the top-left corner of the level. Ride up the right quarter pipe below the awning for the K. A. There are balconies near the yellow crane at the top-right corner of the level. Climb up the ladders to the second awning for the A. T. Ride forward through the arch from the start point and quarter turn right to see a yellow house. Ride to the other side of the house and use the quarter pipe to spine transfer up to the quarter pipe on the roof of the house. Jump up from the spine on the roof for the T. E. Above the wire on the beach. Ride up the quarter pipe at the right side of the boardwalk and launch forward to land on the ledge. Grind left along the edge of the ledge, which leads onto the wire above the beach. Grind to the middle of the wire for the E. COLLECT C-O-M-B-O Ride forward through the arch from the start point and grind the rail in front for the C. Jump off the end and grind the next rail for the O and M. Grind the ledge in front for the B, then jump right and grind the next ledge for the O. SMASH 5 FLOWER POTS 1. There is a ladder on the building at the right side of the burger billboard sign. Grind the wall on the right at the bottom of the ladder. 2. On the ledge in front of the hotel at the top-left corner of the level. 3. Ride forward through the arch from the start point and quarter turn left to see a red house. The flower pot is in front of the house. 4. Ride up the quarter pipe at the right side of the boardwalk and launch forward to land on the ledge. Grind right along the ledge to find the pot. 5. Ride forward through the arch from the start point and quarter turn right to see a yellow house. The flower pot is on the quarter pipe behind the house. GET THE SECRET TAPE There are balconies near the yellow crane at the top-right corner of the level. Climb up the ladders to the top awning and then grind along the rail at the side of the balcony. Continue the grind onto the building ledge for the tape. FIND AND HIT 5 G'DAY RAMP TRANSFERS 1. Ride forward through the arch from the start point and then half turn to see a quarter pipe on either side. Jump the gap between the quarter pipes. 2. There is a blue awning at the top-left corner of the level. Jump the gap between the quarter pipes on the other side of the road from the awning. 3. Jump the gap between the quarter pipes near the fountain at the top-right corner of the level. 4. In the same location as the third g'day ramp transfer. 5. Ride forward through the arch from the start point and quarter turn left to see a red house. There is a curved quarter pipe near the other side of the house. Jump the steps between the quarter pipes. BUST ALL 5 YELLOW STREET LAMPS There is a small launch ramp at the left side of the yellow crane at the top of the level. Use the ramp to jump up to the top of the green awning on the right. From the awning, jump to a grind on the wire to break the first yellow lamp. Continue to grind along the wire to break all five of the lamps. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 4.3. Skatopia ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- HIGH SCORE / PRO SCORE / SICK SCORE 1. One of the ziplines in the level is found on the second level at the right side of the mountain face. Use the zipline to launch into the air, and do a special move before doing an acid drop into the quarter pipe on top of the mountain. A revert to a manual could continue the combination. 2. Ride to the hill at the top of the cliff to see the bowl with the wooden beams above it. Spine transfer from this bowl down to the quarter pipe at the bottom of the cliff, then use the ramp in front to launch over the top of the house. You will have enough height for a 900 even at basic stats. 3. There is a pile of garbage at the top of the level. If you ride over the garbage and jump, the skater will be launched into the air. You can launch higher by doing a Boneless from the pile. A 900 is easy with the amount of height the garbage pile gives, so you can add a flip while spinning or a special move for extra points. HIGH COMBO 1. One of the ziplines in the level is found at the left side of the big house at the bottom of the level. If you grind the log at the top of the zipline, you can jump to a grind on the long wire leading down to the bottom of the zipline. Do grind combinations all the way down the wire acid drop into the quarter pipe near the bottom of the zipline to complete the combo. 2. There are two gaps in the level that give huge points. The 'Mountaintop Manual' gap is done by manualling from the top of the hill to the entrance of the level, and this gives 15,000 points. The 'Huge Electric Wire' gap is done by grinding the wire from the top of the hill down to the bottom of the level, and this gives 20,000 points. Combine either of these gaps with trick variations to complete the combo. 3. There is a quarter pipe at the top of the cliff that leads all the way down to the bottom of the level. Do grind combinations all the way down this extremely long quarter pipe to complete the combo. COLLECT S-K-A-T-E S. Grind the top of the fence near the big bowl behind the barn for the S. K. Jump off the end of the fence and grind down the ledge for the K. A. Continue down the hill and grind the quarter pipe on the right for the A. T. Ride up the right side of the launch ramp behind the big house for the T. E. Quarter turn right from the roof of the house and ride up the long quarter pipe near the bottom of the zipline for the E. COLLECT C-O-M-B-O Grind down the quarter pipe near the right side of the big house for the C and O. Jump off the end and grind the quarter pipe behind the billboard for the M. Jump right from the end and grind up the next quarter pipe for the B and O. GET 5 BAGS OF DOG FOOD 1. On the platform in front of the big house at the bottom of the level. 2. At the side of the bowl in the garage at the right side of the level. 3. In the alley at the left side of the barn at the top of the level. 4. At the side of the small hut near the mine entrance at the top of the hill. 5. Climh up the ladder behind the big house to arrive on the second level of the cliff. Run right to find the bag. GET THE SECRET TAPE Ride up the zipline from the left side of the big house. Quarter turn left at the top and use the quarter pipe in front to launch up to a grind on the orange and white rail above. Grind left down the rail to find the tape. FRONT FLIP THE SKATOPIA SIGN Ride up the quarter pipe behind the Skatopia sign near the entrance to the level and spine transfer over the top of the sign. Do a front flip (hold circle and press up twice), and land on the next quarter pipe to complete the goal. HIT THE 5 SKUNK GRINDS 1. Ride through the entrance from the start point and quarter turn left to see a hut. Grind around the back of the hut for the first grind. 2. Ride up the zipline from the left side of the big house. Grind to the end of the log at the top for the second grind. 3. Grind the red shack at the right side of the big house for the third grind. 4. Climb up the ladder behind the big house to arrive on the second floor of the cliff. Climb up the red ropes in front to find the fourth skunk on the ledge. Grind along the thin ledge for the fourth grind. 5. Grind the small roof at the right side of the barn for the fifth grind. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 4.4. Berlin ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- HIGH SCORE / PRO SCORE / SICK SCORE 1. Ride through the doors of the Ausfarht Center to arrive on a roof with a quarter pipe on either side. You can spine transfer off the front of the roof to land on the quarter pipe below. After landing, you will have enough speed for a 1080 ollie on the quarter pipe in front. This gives plenty of time for various grabs, flips and spins. 2. On the same roof as the location mentioned above, there is a vent at the front of the roof that will launch the skater all the way over to the roof of the bowling gallery. You can either acid drop into the quarter pipe at the front of this roof to gather enough speed for a huge air on the quarter pipe in front, or you can land in a manual on top of the roof. 3. Half turn from the start point to see the bowling gallery. There is a big bowl inside the building which is good for getting points in. You can also lip trick on the blue and purple pipes at the sides of the bowl. HIGH COMBO 1. Ride forward from the start point and grind the planter leading down toward the Ausfarht Center. Land in a manual and ride through the doors leading to the roof. Continue the manual over to the vent at the other side of the roof to get launched into the air. Do a special move in the air and land in a manual. Continue the manual over to the other side of the roof and do a special move on the quarter pipe to complete the combo. 2. Spine transfer into the church from the side near the yellow building and do a move in the air. If you Boneless before taking off from the quarter pipe, you will have enough time in the air for a 540 at low stats, so make sure to do a grab or flip in the air while doing the 540. Revert to manual after landing and lip trick on the quarter pipe at the other side of the church. Do lip trick variations and then jump off to complete the combo. 3. Quarter turn left from the start point to see a wall with a quarter pipe at the front. Grind left along the wall and jump off the end to grind on the yellow rail in front of the building with the 'Downzekd' sign. Jump up from the end of the yellow rail and grind on top of the sign, then jump off the end and grind on the ledge below. Grind all the way along the ledge doing grind variations and then jump off the end to complete the combo. COLLECT S-K-A-T-E S. Ride forward from the start point to the building with the aquarium on the front. Grind right along the top red ledge on the building for the S. K. Quarter turn right from the start point to see the K floating at the left side of the building with the yellow 'Downzekd' sign on the front. Use the red and white quarter pipe barrier to launch up to the K. A. On the third green ledge of the yellow building near Gretchen's bar. Climb up the ladder and grind along the ledge for the A. T. Continue grinding the ledge after the A to grind along a wire for the T. E. Jump onto the roof at the end of the wire. Use the launch ramp at the side of the roof to launch up to the E. COLLECT C-O-M-B-O Grind the rail above the top of the entrance of the Ausfarht Center for the C. Jump off the end and grind the rail for the O. Jump off the step and manual across the road, then grind around the next step for the M. Jump the small gap in the step and continue grinding on the other side. Jump off the end of the step and land in a manual, then spine transfer from the quarter pipe in front up to the roof of the building for the B. Revert to manual after landing, and then jump up from the quarter pipe in front for the O. GET THE SECRET TAPE Spine transfer into the church and go through the doorway. Grind the ladder on the floor and ride up the quarter pipe at the end. Get off the board in the air and grab onto the ladder on the wall. Climb up to the top of the ladder, then run left around the ledge and go through the big arch to the next section of the church. Walk through the arch at the right side of the room, then jump left over the gap to land on the next ledge. Run along the ledge, then climb up to the top of the thin blue sloped section of the roof to find the tape. MADONNA THE SOLDIERS Ride forward to the road from the start point and quarter turn left. Ride along to the end of the road to see a big picture of a soldier above the ledge. Jump up from the ledge and Madonna over the picture to complete the goal. ACID DROP FROM THE 4 BEER-STEINS 1. Jump down the steps from the start point and ride through the doors of the Ausfarht Center to arrive on the roof. Acid drop from the ramp at the right side of the roof to land on the quarter pipe below. 2. There is a yellow building at the side of Gretchen's bar. Use the quarter pipe to launch up to the lowest ledge of the building, then climb up the ladder to the top. Acid drop into the quarter pipe below. 3. There is a glass building with red ledges near the church. Climb up the ladder to the highest ledge, then run right to find the beer-stein. Acid drop from the ledge and land on the quarter pipe below. 4. Spine transfer into the church and go through the doorway. Grind the ladder on the floor and ride up the quarter pipe at the end. Get off the board in the air and grab onto the ladder on the wall. Climb up to the top of the ladder, then run left around the ledge and go through the big arch to the next section of the church. Walk through the arch at the right side of the room to find the beer-stein. Acid drop down to the quarter pipe below. PUT THE SPACE MONKEY BACK TOGETHER AGAIN 1. Grind the yellow ledge in front of the start point for the first part. 2. Drop off the end of the ledge and ride through the doors of the Ausfarht Center. Ride onto the grate and stop, then jump for the second part. 3. Jump forward from the vent to land on the roof of the bowling gallery. Ride up the quarter pipe in front for the third part. 4. Quarter turn left after landing to see a yellow building. Ride to the other side of Gretchen's bar at the left side of the yellow building and launch up from the quarter pipe below the billboard for the fourth part. 5. Ride across the level to the yellow building at the left side of the church. Spine transfer to the roof of the building for the fifth part. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 4.5. Airport ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- HIGH SCORE / PRO SCORE / SICK SCORE 1. The small circular benches at the other side of the security machines are great for long grinds with combinations. Ten combinations will give about 15,000 points, and you can then jump off the grind and land in a manual to start a flatland combination for even more points. 2. There is a light high above the escalator leading down to the bottom of the airport. Use the small slope at the top of the escalator and do a special move onto a grind on the light. Do a big move off the end of the light and land in a manual to do another trick on the quarter pipe in front. 3. The basement of the airport has a quarter pipe going all the way around the side. You can grind the spiral staircase at either side of the area, manual at the end and then grind on the quarter pipe for a big score. The various lights in the area can also be grinded on for extra points. HIGH COMBO 1. Turn right at the bottom of the first escalator to enter the customs area. Grind up one of the steep esclators in the area, and you should start to grind back down the other way. Jump off the end and grind the four rails around the outside of the area leading to the other escalator. Grind up the esclator and then back down onto the rail. Continue this sequence until you have enough points needed to complete the combo. 2. Use the curved white phone booth at the left side of the white walkway to launch up to a grind on the light above. Jump off the end and grind on the second light, then drop down to a grind on the escalator rail below. Jump to a grind on the rail at the side of the wall, then jump right and manual to a grind on the second walkway. Jump off the end and manual to the slope at the start of the security machines. Air over the machines to complete the combo. 3. Jump over the right counter from the start point and grind the conveyer belt to enter the area with the helicopter. Do grind combinations all the way along the conveyer belt, then jump off the end to grind down the esclator. Jump off the end of the escalator and grind on the baggage claim. Grind the baggage claim until you start to lose balance, then jump off to a manual and do flatland combinations to complete the combo. COLLECT S-K-A-T-E S. Ride forward from the start point and use the curved phone booth on the left to jump up to a grind on the light. Grind to the end of the light for the S. K. Grind the sloped ledge between the first set of escalators for the K. A. There are three trees on benches in the area after the security gates. Climb up the middle tree for the A. T. Ride up the slope between the final set of escalators and jump at the top to grind on the light below. Grind to the end of the light for the T. E. There are tall thin quarter pipes in the area at the bottom of the level. Ride up one of the quarter pipes and launch off to the side to grind on the highest red rail. Grind along the rail for the E. COLLECT C-O-M-B-O Grind the middle of the first walkway for the C. Drop off the end and land in a manual, then ride up the slope between the first set of escalators and grind the light for the O. Jump right to then next light, then left to the light below. Grind to the end of the light for the M. Jump right and grind the next light. Jump the gap at the end for the B and grind the light for the O. CRUSH THE SUSPICIOUS SUITCASES 1. Turn slightly right from the start point and jump over the counter. Ride along the baggage conveyer belt to find the first suitcase. 2. Grind down the escalator at the end of the helicopter area and climb on top of the baggage carousel to find the second suitcase. 3. Ride through the security gate to exit the carousel area. Turn slightly right and enter the bathroom to find the third suitcase. 4. Ride through the security gate near the bottom of the level and half turn on the other side to find the fourth suitcase. 5. Ride down either spiral staircase to the basement. Grind the crates at the side of the area for the fifth suitcase. NOSE MANAUAL THE ESCALATOR SLOPE There is a slope at the side of the the set of escalators near the top and bottom of the level. Nose manual (down, up) either slope to complete the goal. NOSEGRAB OVER THE COPTER! Turn slightly right from the start point and jump over the counter. Ride along the baggage conveyer belt and use the ramp to nosegrab over the helcopter. GET THE SECRET TAPE Turn slightly left from the start point and jump over the counter. Ride through the baggage conveyer belt to transport to the area at the bottom of the level. Ride up one of the thin quarter pipes in this area and launch off to the side to grind on the highest red rail. Grind along the rail for the tape. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 4.6. School ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- HIGH SCORE / PRO SCORE / SICK SCORE 1. Enter the gym to find a basketball net at the back. Use the quarter pipe at the back of the gym and Boneless to a special trick through the basketball net (which gives a 1,000 point destruction bonus). Revert after landing and manual to any of the grindable objects in the gym like the beams, desks or the red stands at either side of the room. 2. There are two blue bowls at the bottom of the level. The left bowl has a slope leading out of it, but the right bowl has a continuous edge which can be used for long grind combinations. Do a special move out of one side of the bowl and revert to manual after landing before starting the grind. 3. Quarter turn left from the start point and drop off the side of the green platform to face a slope leading down. Grind the right ledge of this slope and do grind combinations all the way down it to get one of the highest scoring gaps in the level, the 'Long Ass Rail' at 2,500 points. HIGH COMBO 1. Grind either edge of the green platform from the start point and do grind combinations to fill the special bar. Jump off the end of the platform and do a special move like the McTwist, and then land in a manual. Turn left after landing and grind the handicap rail down the slope. Jump right at the end of the rail and grind the curved rail. Jump off the curved rail near the start and manual to the quarter pipe in front of the wall. Do a special move on the quarter pipe, then revert after landing to complete the combo. 2. Quarter turn left from the start point and drop off the side of the green platform. Grind the right ledge down the slope and jump left at the end to grind on the rail at the side of the bowl. Jump right off the end and manual to a grind on the next rail, then jump off the end of the rail and grind the edge of the next bowl. Jump off before the corner of the bowl and grind the long quarter pipe at the side of the area. Jump the gap at the end of the quarter pipe and grind the next quarter pipe to complete the combo. 3. Turn slightly right from the start point and drop off the green platform. Ride past the slope leading up to the roof of the gym, and grind the rail leading up to the garbage bin. Jump at the top of the rail and grind down the next rail. Jump at the end of the rail and grind around the garbage bins. Jump over the single garbage bin at the end and land in a manual. Do a special trick on the left quarter pipe, revert to manual after landing and do another special trick on the right quarter pipe to complete the combo. COLLECT S-K-A-T-E S. Grind the handicap rail leading down the slope near the entrance to the gym. Jump left about half-way down the rail for the S. K. Found above the right bridge in the area with the two bridges. Use the slope at either end of the bridge to jump up for the K. A. On the high wall in the area with the two bridges. Wallride the wall and wallie up to a grind on top of the wall for the A. T. In the area with the two blue bowls, launch out of the bowl without the diving boards and land on the roof of the building for the T. E. In the area with the two blue bowls, grind the rail between the bowls and jump off the end for the E. COLLECT C-O-M-B-O Ride down the slope at the side of the handicap rail in front of the gym and quarter turn left at the bottom. Grind the ledge for the C. Jump off the end of the first ledge for the O and grind along the second ledge for the M. Jump right at the end of the second ledge and grind the third ledge for the B. Jump left at the end of the third ledge and grind the quarter pipe for the O. SET OFF 5 FIRE ALARMS 1. Found on the wall at the left side of the entrance to the gym. Wallride over the alarm on the wall to set off the first alarm. 2. In the area with the two bridges, wallride the long green building behind the high wall to set off the second alarm. 3. In the area with the two bridges, wallride the wall at the right side of the two kicker ramps to set off the third alarm. 4. In the area with the two blue bowls, wallride the wall behind the low diving board at the left side of the billboard to set off the fourth alarm. 5. In the area with the two blue bowls, wallride the wall at the bottom of the long slope leading up to the gym to set off the fifth alarm. SMASH THE 5 SCHOOL BOOKS 1. Ride forward from the start point and use the quarter pipe in the distance to launch up to the roof of the building. Run to the corner of the building for the first book. 2. Quarter turn left from the start point and drop off the side of the green platform. Grind the left ledge down the slope for the second book. 3. Turn slightly left from the start point and drop off the side of the green platform. Grind the long ledge on the left for the third book. 4. Ride down the long slope in front of the entrance to the gym and grind the quarter pipe on the right for the fourth book. 5. In the area with the two blue bowls, launch out of the bowl without the diving boards and land on the roof of the building for the fifth book. DOUBLE KICKFLIP THE KICKER GAP Grind the handicap rail leading down the slope near the entrance to the gym. Turn slightly left after landing and double kickflip from the kicker ramp. Land on the next kicker ramp after the gap to complete the goal. GET THE SECRET TAPE Ride up the slope at the right side of the gym to arrive on the roof. There is a wooden rail leading down from the green platform near the top-left corner of the roof. Grind down the rail to land on an awning which leads to the tape. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 4.7. Downhill Jam ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- HIGH SCORE / PRO SCORE / SICK SCORE 1. There is a half pipe in the middle of the level that is great for getting huge airs. As the half pipe is on a slope, you can normally get bigger airs by airing sideways from a high point of the ramp to a lower point. You can also get a gap by manualling the entire half pipe, so use flatland combos down the half pipe as a way of getting extra points. 2. There is a launch ramp near the end of the level which can be used to get on top of a rock. Ride down the rock to enter a tunnel with a launch ramp at the end. If you have enough speed, you can use the launch ramp to get four gaps. These are 25ft, 50ft, 75ft and 100ft. A Boneless + McTwist would normally get around 10,000 points, but with the addition of these four gaps the score will be boosted to around 40,000 points. 3. Do a special move over the giant grate at the bottom of the level and land in a manual. Grind the rail in front and do a special move off the end of the rail to land in a manual. Roll through the finish line to return to the top of the hill, still in a manual. Continue the combo from the bottom of the level by using the rails and ramps at the top of the level. HIGH COMBO 1. Ride down the slope from the start point and use the launch ramp on the right to jump up to a grind on the left pipe. Jump off the end of the pipe and grind on the curved rail, then manual off the end and do a special move off the next launch ramp. Manual off the end and do another special move off the the launch ramp in front to complete the combo. 2. Grind the left side of the big half pipe in the middle of the level and jump off the end to land in a manual. Ride up the slope in the path and do a special move at the top. Aim for the small launch ramp in the middle of the path, and jump up to a manual on the top of the rock. Ride down the rock and use the launch ramp in the tunnel to do a special move out of the other side. On top of the combination, you will also get four extra gaps (25ft, 50ft, 75ft and 100ft) if you jump far enough. Manual after landing and jump over the giant grate to complete the combo. 3. Grind the right rail above the water and jump off at the end to land in a manual. Ride around the corner and use the launch ramp to jump up to a grind on the pipe near the big half pipe. Do a special move off the end of the pipe, land in a manual and grind the right side of the half pipe. Jump off the end of the half pipe and land in a manual. Ride to the launch ramp in front and jump to a grind on the billboard above the water. Jump off the end of the billboard and manual to the rail at the right side of the rock. Grind the rail, then jump at the end and grind on the ledge to complete the combo. COLLECT S-K-A-T-E S. Ride down the slope from the start point and turn toward the launch ramp on the right. Jump up to a grind on the left high rail for the S. K. There are two long rails over water near the start point. Ride to the left side of the rails and use the third launch ramp to jump to a grind on the high rail at the side of the rock. Grind to the end of the rail for the K. A. Turn slightly left after landing and ride to the launch ramp near the start of the long half pipe. Grind the rail at the top for the A. T. At the end of the long half pipe in the middle of the level, use the launch ramp and jump to a grind on top of the billboard for the T. E. Jump off the launch ramp on the platform before the finish line for the E. COLLECT C-O-M-B-O Grind the left rail over the water near the start of the level for the C. Jump off the end for the O and land in a manual. Jump up the quarter pipe in front for the M, then revert to manual after landing. Use the launch ramp in front to jump up to a grind on the left rail near the start of the long half pipe. Jump off the end of the rail for the B, then land in a manual and ride up to a grind on the left side of the half pipe. Grind to the end for the O. SMASH 5 CRATES 1. Ride down the slope from the start point and turn toward the launch ramp on the right. Launch up to the high platform on the right for the first crate. 2. There are two long rails over water near the start point. Ride to the left side of the rails and use the second launch ramp to jump up to the top of the rock for the second crate. 3. There is a long half pipe in the middle of the level. Ride up the slope at the right side of the half pipe to find the third crate at the top. 4. Grind the rail at the end of the half pipe platform and jump the gap between the quarter pipes to arrive on a ledge with the fourth crate. 5. Ride to the launch ramp before the finish line for the fifth crate. JAPAN OVER THE GIANT GRATE The giant crate is found in the middle of the path near the end of the level. Use the small slope and japan over the grate to complete the goal. MANUAL THROUGH THE PUDDLES 1. Ride down the slope from the start point and continue forward to find the first puddle. Manual (up, down) through the puddle. 2. There are two long rails over water near the start point. Ride to the left side of the rails to find the second puddle in front of the launch ramp. 3. Manual through the third puddle at the start of the long half pipe in the middle of the level. 4. Turn slightly left at the end of the long half pipe and manual over the fourth puddle at the top of the slope in front. 5. Manual through the fifth puddle on the left low path before the finish line. GET THE SECRET TAPE There is a long half pipe in the middle of the level. Ride up the slope at the right side of the half pipe to arrive on the platform. Grind the rail at the end of the half pipe platform and jump the gap between the quarter pipes to arrive on a ledge. Jump onto the rock at the end of the ledge. Cross over the rock and jump the gap between the next two quarter pipes. Jump off the end of the ledge and grind the rails on top of the pillar for the tape. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 4.8. New Orleans ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- HIGH SCORE / PRO SCORE / SICK SCORE 1. Enter the yellow doors at the junction in the middle of the level to arrive on Josh O'Brien's roof. The big bowl on top of this roof is an excellent place to earn points, as you can do big air combinations and long grinds around the edge of the bowl. 2. Ride forward from the start point and enter The Fan Club on the right. Stand on the dance floor and jump to get launched up in the air. Do a special move in the air before landing on the roof in a manual. Do flatland combinations to continue getting more points. 3. There is an alley near the cemetary which has banners with 'Humidity' above the two spine ramps. Start at the end of the alley nearest to the cemetary, and do special moves over each spine ramp. Revert to manual after landing each trick, and then manual over the road after the second ramp. Grind up the ledge leading to the hotel courtyard, and grind all the way through to the other side for a big score. HIGH COMBO 1. Quarter turn left from the start point and use the quarter pipe at the side of the building to launch up to a grind on the balcony. Drop off the end of the balcony to grind on the ledge at the side of the hotel courtyard. The ledge will lead onto a wire which leads onto another ledge. Jump off at the end of the ledge and grind the quarter pipe at the side of the statue in the church courtyard. Jump the gap between the two ledges, and then grind the rail around the outside of the church courtyard to complete the combo. 2. Enter the blue doorway at the junction in the road in the middle of the level to arrive on 'Boo-Ya's Bottomless Rooftop'. Skate up the slope leading to the helipad. Spine transfer from the quarter pipe at the side of the helipad and use the speed gained to do a big air on the other side of the road. Combine the air with grabs and spins or a special trick. Revert to manual after landing, and continue doing tricks off the quarter pipes on the side of the road until you have the points needed to complete the combo. 3. There is a big tomb in the middle of the cemetary. Grind left around the top of the tomb to end up on a grind on a rail. Jump off the end of the rail and manual to the quarter pipe in front. Grind left along the wall at the top of the quarter pipe, then jump the gap and continue grinding around the corner in the wall to see a slope in front. Grind up the slope and do a special move in the air before continuing the grind on the next section of wall. Jump off the end of the wall to complete the combo. COLLECT S-K-A-T-E S. Above the spike on top of the big crypt in the middle of the cemetary. K. Ride forward to the crossroad from the start point and enter the blue doors to arrive on 'Boo-YA's Bottomless Rooftop'. Ride over the vent on this roof and launch over the quarter pipe for the K. A. You should land on the roof of the next building after collecting the K. Launch up from the quarter pipe at the other side of the roof for the A. T. Quarter turn right from the start point to see a quarter pipe on the left near the corner of the road. Launch up from the quarter pipe and grind right around the curved awning for the T. E. Continue forward to the end of the road after collecting the T, and jump up from the quarter pipe at the right side of the cemetary for the E. COLLECT C-O-M-B-O Quarter turn right from the start point and ride to the yellow quarter pipe at the right side of the corner in the road. Use the quarter pipe to launch up to a grind on the ledge above. Jump off the end of the ledge for the C, then land in a manual in the church courtyard. Use the quarter pipe to get the O behind the statue. Revert to manual after landing, then ride across the road to the sloped ledge on the left side for the M. Launch up through the balcony and run up the slope. Grind the balcony rail for the B, then jump right near the end of the rail and land in a manual. Ride up the quarter pipe for the O. JAPAN THE BIG CRYPT The big crypt is found in the middle of the cemetary. Use the quarter pipe on either side and spine transfer over the top of the crypt. Japan in the air and land on the quarter pipe on the other side of the crypt to complete the goal. COLLECT 5 VOODOO DOLLS 1. Quarter turn left from the start point and spine transfer into the hotel courtyard. Grind the wire above the courtyard for the first doll. 2. Grind the blue rails on the road near the river and jump off the slope at the end. Grind the wire above the tram tracks for the second doll. 3. Ride forward to the crossroad from the start point and enter the blue doors to arrive on 'Boo-YA's Bottomless Rooftop'. Grind the yellow rail around the corner of the roof for the third doll. 4. On 'Boo-YA's Bottomless Rooftop', ride up the slope leading to the helipad and ride up the quarter pipe at the top for the fourth doll. 5. There is a quarter pipe in front of the cemetary. Ride up the quarter pipe for the fifth doll above the Neversoft eyeball sign. SMASH 5 CRYSTAL BALLS 1. Ride forward to the crossroad from the start point to see a yellow building. Climb up the ladder at the side of the building for the first ball. 2. Ride forward after finding the first ball and use the launch ramp to jump over to the roof with the water tower. Quarter turn left after landing to see the second ball above the high middle quarter pipe. Use either low quarter pipe at the side to air up to the second ball. 3. There is an alley at the left side of the cemetary. Jump up from the quarter pipe at the end of the alley for the third ball. 4. Grind the wall at the back of the cemetary for the fourth ball. 5. There is an alley near the cemetary which has 'Humidity' banners above two spine ramps. Grind the balcony at the end of the alley for the fifth ball. GET THE SECRET TAPE Ride forward to the crossroad from the start point and enter the white doors to arrive on the 'Nawlins Rooftop'. Ride up the sloped plank of wood for the tape. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 4.9. Training ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- HIGH SCORE / PRO SCORE / SICK SCORE 1. Half turn from the start point and do lip trick combinations on top of the quarter pipe. Jump off after finishing the lip trick and revert to manual after landing. Manual to the wall at the side of the roll-in and wallride it. Wallie off and do a special trick down to the bottom of the roll-in. 2. Jump up to the top of the two crates in the new warehouse area and then jump across to ledge in the water. Climb to the top of the ladder and shimmy across to the opening on the right. Grind the rail in the opening and acid drop down to the bowl below. Use the speed gained from the acid drop to do a big trick on the other side of the bowl. 3. There is a low funbox in the new warehouse section which has a long rail on top of it. Grind the rail and manual after landing. Do a special trick on the quarter pipe in front, then revert to manual after landing and grind back along the rail. As there are quarter pipes on either side of the area, you can continue this combination in the same way for big points. HIGH COMBO 1. There is a rail on the wall at the side of the big half pipe under the glass room. Grind along this rail and the next rail, then jump to a grind on the blue quarter pipe. Grind all the way along the quarter pipe for the 'Holy Shi...' gap, which will add an extra 3,000 points. Jump across the next two quarter pipes and continue the grind on the top of the next quarter pipe. Use the small slope at the end of the quarter pipe to do a spinning flip, then grind the rail on the platform and drop down to the next quarter pipe. Grind to the end of the quarter pipe to complete the combo. 2. Get a full special bar by doing flatland combinations and then ride forward from the start point. Wallride the right wall above the huge roll-in and wallie off to do a special trick. Land in a manual and grind the green rail on the left. Grind around the kink at the end of the rail and jump off to a manual. Manual up the blue quarter pipe and grind right along the top. Jump off the end of the quarter pipe and grind the two rails in front. Launch up from the slope at the end of the second rail and grind the sprinkler above. Jump the gaps and grind the next two sprinklers to complete the combo. 3. Ride down to the bottom of the left roll-in from the start point and half turn to see a quarter pipe in front. Spine transfer from the quarter pipe into the bowl on the other side, then quarter turn left and launch up to a grind on the sprinkler above. Grind right along the sprinkler and jump onto the next sprinkler at the end. This sprinkler will lead through a hole to the new area of the warehouse. Jump through the hole and grind the sprinker on the other side. Stay on this sprinkler and keep doing grind combinations until you have enough points needed to complete the combo. COLLECT S-K-A-T-E S. Half turn right from the start point and jump up from the middle of the blue quarter pipe for the S. K. Ride down to the bottom of the big roll-ins near the start point and then half turn. Jump up from the quarter pipe in front for the K. A. Jump up to the top of the two crates in the new warehouse area and jump to the ledge in the water. Climb to the top of the ladder, then half turn and drop off the edge of the ledge to hang on. Shimmy across to the right and grind the rail for the A. T. Grind the rail at the right side of the new warehouse area for the T. E. Use one of the roll-ins on the big funbox in the new warehouse area to jump up to a grind on the sprinkler rail. Grind the rail for the E. COLLECT C-O-M-B-O Ride down the roll-in from the start point and turn slightly left at the bottom to see a kicker ramp. Jump the kicker ramp for the C and land in a manual. Ride to the quarter pipe in front and grind left along the top for the O. Launch up from the slope at the end and grind the rail above for the M. Wallride the wall on the right and wallie up to a grind on the rail above for the B. Jump left at the end of the rail and grind the two lights for the O. GET THE SECRET TAPE Ride down the left roll-in from the start point and quarter turn left at the bottom. Spine transfer into the bowl on the left, then launch up from the bowl and grind right along the sprinkler rail above. Jump at the end and grind the next sprinkler rail, then jump through the hole at the end for the tape. BREAK ALL THE SPRINKLERS There are sprinkler rails in various places of the warehouse. Break nineteen valves by grinding the sprinkler rails to complete the goal. BENIHANA OVER THE HALF PIPE Ride down the right roll-in from the start point and jump from the slope at either side of the half pipe. Benihana over the half pipe to complete the goal. GRAB ALL THE SKATEBOARDS 1. Ride forward from the start point and wallride the right wall above the left roll-in for the first skateboard. 2. Quarter turn left at the bottom of the left roll-in and spine transfer from the quarter pipe on the left to land in the bowl. Grind left along the high sprinkler pipe above the other side of the bowl and jump onto the light at the end. Jump right from the end of the light for the second skateboard. 3. There is a room above the half pipe. Launch up from the slope at either side of the half pipe and pass through the room for the third skateboard. 4. There is a blue quarter pipe near the kicker ramp in the starting area of the warehouse. Ride up the quarter pipe and grind left along the sprinkler rail above for the fourth skateboard. 5. Ride through the entrance to the new area of the warehouse and climb up the yellow pipe at the top-right corner for the fifth skateboard. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 4.10. Boston ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- HIGH SCORE / PRO SCORE / SICK SCORE 1. Skitch any of the cars in the level and watch the points start to rise. You will get more points the longer you stay on, so try and keep the marker in the middle. Let go of the vehicle when you see a quarter pipe in front, and you will have enough speed from the skitch to do a big trick in the air. 2. Use the quarter pipe in the construction area to launch onto the boat in the water. Climb up to the top of the crow's nest and acid drop down to the quarter pipe below to launch high into the air on the opposite quarter pipe. The crow's nest is so high that you will have enough speed for two McTwists. 3. There is a vent near the entrance to the hospital. Ride on the vent with a full special bar and jump to launch up into the air. Do a special trick (A 900 can work well here), then revert to manual after landing at the bottom of the huge quarter pipe. Grind the two rails in the construction area and do another special trick on the quarter pipe at the other side of the area. HIGH COMBO 1. Quarter turn right from the start point and grind the left yellow rail up, along and down the other side. Jump off the end of the rail and manual across the road to a grind on the planter on the other side. Jump the gap and grind the next planter, then grind around the first corner and jump off the planter to land in a manual. Manual across the road and use the quarter pipe in front to ride up to a grind on the blue ledge above. Grind right along the ledge and jump off the end to grind the curved yellow rail. Jump off the rail and use manual flatland combinations to complete the combo. 2. Ride forward from the start point and grind the yellow rail in front of Jeers. Jump off the end and grind the blue rail, then jump the next gap and grind the next blue rail. Launch up from the end of the rail and grind the high yellow rail at the side of the bank. Jump off the end of the rail and sticker slap the wall, then grind back along the yellow rail. Jump off before the corner and grind the four ledges at the side of the steps. Jump off the final ledge and grind the yellow curb to complete the combo. 3. Ride forward from the start point and grind the red rail leading down the steps on the right. Manual off the end of the rail and use the quarter pipe to spine transfer over the top of the statue while doing a special move. Revert to manual after landing on the other side of the statue, then grind up the cannon and jump off to a manual. Ride across the road and use the quarter pipe to jump up to a lip trick on the blue ledge. Use lip trick combinations to get enough points needed to complete the combo. COLLECT S-K-A-T-E S. Above the arch in front of the statehouse. Grind the black rail on either side of the arch and jump at the slope in the rail for the S. K. Ride forward from the start point to arrive in an area with a picture of Tony Hawk. Run up the steps at the left side of the area and grind along the ledge at the top for the K. A. There is a platform above the entrance to the hospital. Use the quarter pipe at either side of the entrance to launch onto the platform for the A. T. Ride up the quarter pipe near the scaffoliding at the right side of the construction area for the T. E. Quarter turn right from the start point and ride down the road to see an arch on the right. Ride through the arch and jump the gap between the quarter pipes for the E. COLLECT C-O-M-B-O Ride forward from the start point and grind the long blue rail in front of the statehouse. Jump the gap at the end and grind the next blue rail for the C. Jump up from the slope at the end to grind the top of the bus stop for the O. Drop off the bus stop and land in a manual. Ride to the quarter pipe in front of the picture of Tony Hawk and air right for the M. Revert to manual after landing, and ride forward. Quarter turn left on the road and grind down the four ledges, then drop off the end and grind the yellow curb for the B. Jump right off the end of the curb and manual to the quarter pipe on the other side of the road. Grind right along the blue rail above the quarter pipe for the O. SMASH 5 TEA BARRELS 1. Quarter turn right from the start point and jump up the steps with the three yellow rails for the first barrel. 2. Ride forward from the start point to arrive in an area with a picture of Tony Hawk. Ride up the slope in this area for the second barrel. 3. Ride through the construction area and launch forward from the quarter pipe to land on the boat. Ride to the middle of the boat for the third barrel. 4. Ride down the path in front of the green benches outside the left side of the park for the fourth barrel. 5. Jump to the half pipe at the right side of the church for the fifth barrel. GET THE SECRET TAPE Ride forward from the start point to arrive in an area with a picture of Tony Hawk. Use the quarter pipe near the right side of the picture to jump up to a gap in the wall below some steps. Half turn and grind up the wire to the roof of the building for the tape. BACKFLIP DOWN THE COMMON STAIRS Ride forward from the start point to see the common stairs leading down to the statue in the park on the right. Boneless for extra height and backflip (hold circle and press down twice) down the steps to complete the goal. GRIND THE 5 PIGEON RAILS 1. Ride forward from the start point and grind the long blue rail in front of the statehouse for the first rail. 2. Ride forward from the start point to arrive in an area with a picture of Tony Hawk. Run up the steps at the left side of the area and grind along the rail at the top for the second rail. 3. Grind the rail above the cannons in front of the park for the third rail. 4. Quarter turn right from the start point and jump up the steps with the three yellow rails. Grind the colourful ledge for the fourth rail. 5. Ride through the construction area and grind left along the blue ledge above the quarter pipe near the boat for the fifth rail. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 4.11. Canada ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- HIGH SCORE / PRO SCORE / SICK SCORE 1. There is a huge tree in the middle of the corral area with the quarter pipe around the side. Do grind combinations around the base of the tree, then jump off and do manual flatland combinations after landing. 2. Grind around the entire quarter pipe at the side of the corral area for 'The Log QP' gap. A normal grind around the quarter pipe will give about 20,000 points with the gap included, so use grind combinations for extra points. 3. Grind the rail in front of the generator at the end of the walkway to raise the half pipe at the side of the hut. Use the quarter pipe in front of the hut to launch up to the raised quarter pipe, then use the launch ramp on the other side to jump up to the high half pipe with the roof above it. Jump over to the next sloped half pipe and then grind the right mine cart rail at the top. Launch from the slope at the end of the rail and do a special move down to a grind on the edge of the walkway below. HIGH COMBO 1. Grind the right rail from the start point and jump right to a grind on the fence at the side of the skatepark. Grind around the corner, then jump right to a grind on the ledge at the side of the curved quarter pipe. Jump left back to the fence, and use the slope in the fence to launch up to a special move. Land back in a grind on the fence, then jump right and grind the edge of the quarter pipe. Grind around the corner in the quarter pipe, jump the gap with the three roll-ins and continue grinding to complete the combo. 2. Grind the left ledge from the start point and jump off to a manual at the end. Ride up the launch ramp and jump over the two cars for the 'Car Gap', then manual to the left rail on the slope leading down the car park. Grind both rails on the slope and jump off to a manual at the end. Use the quarter pipe to do a special move, then revert to manual after landing and grind back up both rails on the slope in the car park. Jump left at the top and grind the rail at the right side of the area. Jump the quarter pipe and continue grinding the next rail to complete the combo. 3. Ride forward from the start point and grind the right rail leading down the slope in the car park. Jump off to a manual at the end and grind right along the top of the quarter pipe, which leads on to a grind on a billboard. Jump t
